F L A S H B A C K

It was Saemi's birthday when it happened. She was busy accommodating all of her visitors when she had one of the attacks again.

"Miss, are you alright?" One of the maids asked her when they saw her state but Saemi only nodded and shrugged it off.

'I just have to drink my medicine', she thought.

So she went to her room. Only to find her best friend ankling her boyfriend closer as they try to eat each other's faces. Saemi couldn't move in her place.

Her best friend's lips ravished Dongyoon's mouth. Her lover skillfully removed Juda's shirt and was about to finish it all on bed when his head turned to the door, shock and fear drawn in his face.

"Was this part of the surprise?" Saemi pushed herself to talk in spite of the scenario. Juda couldn't lift her eyes to look at her best friend, biting her lips in nervousness. She kept herself steady on her best friend's bed.

"S-saemi, I can explain..."

"No, you don't have to. Thank you for the surprise, guys. You totally got me."

Guilt made its way to the two and was left silent.

"No need to brag about your awards, little brother." Saemi shook her head, controlling the smile that lingers on her lips as she watch her brother showing off his certificates and medals around his neck.

"I'm not even trying. It comes out naturally." Min Hyung replied, plastering a smirk on his charming face. Saemi scoffed at what he said and forced a spoonful of rice in his mouth to shut him up.

Juda watched in amusement at the two. She never knew Saemi and Min Hyung would even see each other again after all that happened. Juda was the only person Min Hyung could ask about his sister after they departed from each other. She was Saemi's best friend ever since they were eight until they were 18.

They both accelerated in school that's why they finished early at the age of 19.

"Aigoo, our Min Hyungie is all grown up." It was Juda's turn to appreciate Min Hyung and cupped his face, smiling widely. Saemi gave daggers to her but Juda didn't seem faze about it.

'I can't believe her guts. Ugh, she's so annoying.'

"N-noona, stop it!" Juda disregarded Min Hyung's whines and still continued.

"Yah! He already told you to stop, why can't you?" Saemi pulled Juda's hand away from her brother and kept on glaring at her. Juda couldn't help but roll her eyes in annoyance but nevertheless, kept silent at the latter's attitude towards her.

Min Hyung was left weighing the situation. He doesn't have a clue on what happened to the two and he thought that they were in good terms. All along, he thought that there was nothing going wrong between the two, until now.

"What's with the frown, chippy?"

Saemi entered the house and went straight to the kitchen to get a glass of water. Baekhyun was just sitting on the couch comfortably in his pajamas while watching a recap of Running Man.

His eyes followed her every move and every move Saemi does, it gets more heavier and harsher. The frown in her face worsened when her phone rang. Baekhyun was left clueless of what happened to her so he went close to where she was.

She grab a hold of her phone and just stared at it for a good 5 minutes without noticing Baekhyun behind her, sneaking to see her phone to see who's calling but to his dismay, it was an unknown number. Yet Saemi seems to know who it already was.

"Why don't you pick it up?" Saemi jolt in shock when she heard a voice just beside her ear. She held her chest to calm her down from the sudden shock and glared at Baekhyun who just innocently looked at her.

"Byun!" She whined, irritated. Baekhyun chuckled at how she reacted but nevertheless, kept his place. Saemi took a step away from Baekhyun and locked her phone to avoid the call.

"Who was that?" Baekhyun asked pouted his lips towards the direction of Saemi's phone. She only shook her head in reply.

"You alright?" He went to the cupboard to get some ramyeon and started heating the pot and poured water in it. He didn't get any reply from her who was just sitting on the kitchen table, her face leaning on her propped arms.

"It must be a bad business then. Nice talking." Baekhyun replied to himself sarcastically. Saemi kept silent the whole time and even heaved a sigh that caused him to whip his head around and look at her with his eyebrows furrowed

"Care to share your secret, miss?"

"Ugh." It was the only thing Saemi said after his question.

"Alright, I won't force. Come on, let's eat while we watch a movie." He motioned her to go to the living room to join him watch a movie, Howl's Moving Castle.

"I'll just change. Wait for me." Saemi said.

She went down as soon as she finished wearing her pajamas as well, not intending to wear the same color as Baekhyun's. Saemi sat beside him and took the bowl of ramen he cooked for them while Baekhyun gave a good look on her outfit. His lips curved up, smirking at her way.

Saemi noticed it and looked at him in bewilderment, "Stop looking at me like that. You look like a maniac." 

Baekhyun scoffed at what she said and before he could even retort back, the first scene already started in the movie. Saemi covered Baekhyun's mouth and shushed him.

And as naughty as he already was, he bit the skin that was hovering his lips causing Saemi to groan.

"What the heck, Byun?" She winced and pulled her hand from him and wiped it off to his clothes.

"Your hand doesn't tastes good, just so you know." Baekhyun uttered, his eyes now focused on the tv while Saemi gave him an unbelievable look.

"No one even told you to bite it!"

"But I just did. I was deceived. I though it would taste good."

"Stop!" Saemi looked at him in disgust. She couldn't believe he kept on blabbering about how her hand doesn't taste good. Is he some kind of cannibal or something?

Baekhyun laughed at her reaction but raised his hands in defeat.

"Okay, I'll stop. Now let's watch." He pulled her closer to him but she struggled to get out. Her heart started beating fast and she didn't know if it was healthy for her.

"Get your arms off me!" But he kept his arms steady and Saemi was again left with no choice but to feel the warmth his friend gives him.

This is totally confusing me.
