Third Person POV

*beep beep beep beep be--*

A hand slammed onto her alarm clock as she lazily sat up.

Thank f u c k it's a Friday...

Mayoki slowly wakes up as she looks at the time on her alarm. 06:00am.

She slowly gets out of bed and limply walks out of her room and down the stairs into the combined living room and kitchen, where her step-brother and caretaker was in. Auntie Ester looks at Mayoki smiling sweetly, while Leon quickly raises than lowers his eyebrows at her, signifying that he's saying good morning.

Mayoki silently nodded at both of them as she walked toward the dining room and sat opposite Leon. 

"How's U.A?" Leon suddenly asks, picking up his cup of tea and sipping on it.

Mayoki shrugs, not knowing what to think about it so far.

"She has only been in U.A. for a few days." Auntie Ester joined, supporting Mayoki. "But she did complain a bit about skipping orientation for some 'dumb test'." Auntie Ester giggled as Mayoki groaned.

"But it's true though..." Mayoki sighed, picking up a croissant from the table, making Auntie Ester giggle.

"Now, now, go get changed and go to school, both of you." Auntie Ester stated.

Mayoki stared blankly at Auntie Ester. I literally just got here-

Time Skip *15 Minutes*

"Shit. We missed the train." Leon whispered as both he and Mayoki watch the distant train rolling away.

Mayoki sighed as she sat on the bench. "Might as well rest while we wait," Mayoki said as she placed her backpack on her lap.

Leon calms himself down as he sits next to Mayoki on the bench. "Well, the next train comes in about 10 minutes, so we'll both be late for our classes."

"But doesn't Fukurodani start at 8?" Mayoki questioned, visibly confused.

"It does, but the school is way closer to the train station." Leon smiles while adjusting his blue tie.

Mayoki rolls her eyes as she closes her eyes and exhales.

Leon stares at Mayoki with disappointed eyes. "You stayed up last night to help Jean with some of her commissions, didn't you."

Mayoki's eyes widened as she huffs at him. "So?"

Leon loudly exhales as he looks down at the ground. "You really have to stop going to the Knights and help them out." He stated as Mayoki stared at him.

"No. They give me good pay." Mayoki rebelled as she looked up at her brother. "Besides, don't you work for the Tianquan of the Liyue Qixing? Ningguang, was it?"

"Yeah, I do. But unlike you, I don't have, like, 3 other part-time jobs." Leon rebuts as he looks at her. "You really should change your schedule, it's way too busy."

Mayoki looked at him, then the ground, and nodded.

A few seconds later, the next train comes by. Both Leon and Mayoki step onto the train as it slowly departs for Miyagi Island, the closest island to Mondstadt.

Time Skip *20 Minutes*

"You better come back before 8 o'clock, alright?" Leon warned Mayoki as he arrived at his stop. Mayoki looks at him with a 'really?' face and silently nods.

Leon smiles at her before he gets off his stop.

Mayoki waves at him before the train starts to move again. She checks the time. 08:24 am. Crap. Mr. Aizawa's gonna beat me up. Mayoki thought to herself as the train continued moving.

Time Skip *15 Minutes*

The door to Class 1-A's door slammed open, bringing everyone's attention towards a panting Mayoki.

Mayoki bowed deeply at Aizawa as she sprinted to her seat behind Shoji.

"Mihara, this is your third time late for class on the first week of school." Aizawa exasperated, making a few eyes look at her. "I'm sorry."

...

After that, her next few periods went by in a flash.

English was like English. There would always be a sentence on the board and one thing in the sentence would be grammatically wrong. And Kaminari and Kirishima would always ask Mayoki for the correct answer since she aces English. Whenever no one knows how to answer the question (even Yaoyorozu), Present Mic would always call on Mayoki.

Math was like Math. There were questions that Mayoki herself could not understand, and would ask either Iida or Yaoyorozu for the answer. 

Lunch was like Lunch. Mayoki would get a small portion for lunch and silently eat with Midoriya, Iida, Todoroki, and Uraraka as the four of them chatted away.

"Mihara, do you usually eat that less?" Uraraka hesitantly asked, concerned about the small amount of food she is eating.

Mayoki nodded as she ate another bite from her curry.

Todoroki looks at Mayoki and passes her a bowl. "You can have some of my soba noodles if you want." Todoroki offered, making Mayoki shake her head. She raised her hand and pushed the bowl back to Todoroki.

"No, Mihara! You have to eat more vitamin C!" Iida yelled as he almost threw a bowl of watermelons and cantaloupe at Mayoki. Mayoki flinched and yelped as Midoriya and Uraraka tried to block the flying fruits from hitting her face.

Now... it was time for her favorite class. Basic Hero Training. Mayoki sat silently in her seat, playing with her hair while she waited for her classmates to come back from lunch break.

"There you are, Mihara!" Kaminari exclaimed, walking towards Mayoki. She looks up at him and tilts her head.

"Do you have time after school to go for karaoke with me and a few other classmates?" Kaminari asks, with Mineta beside him nodding.

Mayoki's shoulders relaxed and softly shook her head. "I have other things to do after school. Maybe another time?" Mayoki asked, not trying to sound rude.

Mayoki could hear Ashido and Kirishima whine in the background. While Mayoki sweat-dropped, she was just begging Aizawa to walk in and tell the class to be quiet.

...

Wait.

Where is he?

Mayoki flinches as she sees Midoriya muttering to himself again, talking about how he was so excited for this specific class. Mayoki looks at him with a raised eyebrow, while Bakugo yelled at him to shut up.

What would make Midoriya that excited for this cla--

"I am..."

The ground was slightly shaking as a familiar voice echoed throughout the hallways outside their classroom.

Suddenly, All Might appeared in the doorway of their classroom, wearing his silver age costume, leaning forward.

"... coming through the door like a normal person!"

Mayoki's eyes shined as she stared at All Might.

"Wow, it's All Might!" "He really is  a teacher!" "I thought the news was fake!" "Is that really him??"

Her classmate's voices were all blocked off. It felt like it was just her and All Might in this room. Her heart pounded against her chest.

Well shit, it really is him.

She could feel her cheeks heat up as she slightly smiles at him.

"Combat Training!!"

All Might's voice startled Mayoki, bringing her back to reality.

She looks back up to see All Might holding a red card with white bold letters which wrote 'COMBAT'.

"And to go with it... are these!" All Might pointed towards the left wall and pressed a button on a remote. Five shelves appeared out of the wall, with their seat numbers on them. Mayoki looked through the shelve numbers and found her number, No. 21.

"Costumes made based on your Quirk -- or special case, Vision -- registrations and requests you all sent in before school started."

Everyone lit up, excited to wear their own costume.

"After that, let us all meet up on Ground Beta!"

Time Skip *10 Minutes*

Mayoki slipped on her utility belt which had necessitated sharp items such as; smaller knives, daggers, and ninja stars. Just like other Vision wielders, she can just summon her weapon of choice whenever.

She adjusted and double-checked to make sure that her Vision was securely strapped onto the side of her belt. Cause if that fell off, she's screwed. (Refer to the pic below :))

Momentarily, the giant metal doors opened, revealing Ground Beta, and all of Class 1-A in their glory.

"They say the clothes make the man, young men, and ladies." said All Might. "Be fully aware! From now on... You. Are heroes."

His eyes slowly dragged from right to left, analyzing and observing everyone's hero costume. 

"That's great, everyone! All of you look so cool! Now, shall we begin, you zygotes?"

Upon finishing that sentence, Mayoki heard rapid footsteps coming from behind. And on instinct, she quickly looked behind her, revealing...

A green rabbit-like hero costume.

Mayoki then sighed, seeing the obvious connection between Midoriya's costume and All Might himself. After all, he was a bigger fan of All Might than Mayoki, that's for sure.

Mayoki scanned Midoriya up and down, softly giggling to herself. "You look kind of adorable, Izuku." Mayoki complimented him, making him jerk towards her direction and turn into a bright shade of red.

"I-I-I-! U-Um... th-thank you! M-My mom designed the hero costume for me..." Midoriya stuttered, confused at how Mayoki herself was not embarrassed.

"Ah... that's nice," Mayoki replied, looking at him with soft eyes. "I designed my costume myself. Though my other brother did add some design aspects without my permission.." Mayoki sighed, looking down at the small pouches connected to the right side of her utility belt.

"W-Well... I think your hero costume looks s-super cool!" Midoriya exclaimed, grinning brightly at Mayoki.

"Mayoki! Deku!"

Said names both turned their heads towards the voice, looking at Uraraka jogging towards them.

"Woah! Both of your costumes look so amazing!" Uraraka exclaimed, analyzing both Mayoki and Midoriya's costumes. "Argh... I wish I knew that you could've sent in requests for your hero costume! Now I'm stuck with some skintight suit..." Uraraka slightly complained, looking down at herself with a saddened expression.

"Hm? Well, I think you look lovely, Ochako. The colors really do suit you, along with your quirk." Mayoki complimented her, a soft smile appearing on her lips. Uraraka beamed upon hearing her compliment.

"Thank you! You too! I mean, look at you! The red jacket and your Vision fashionably on the side... Wow! You just look... so.... so... cool!" Uraraka exclaimed, getting slightly pumped up.

Mayoki closed her eyes and gave her another soft smile as Midoriya lightly chuckled at Uraraka's sudden mood change.

"Now, it's time for combat training!" All Might announced, making the trio stop their conversation.

Iida raised his hand high into the air. "This is a battle center from the entrance exam, so will we be conduction urban battles again?"

I was going to ask that... Mayoki sighed as she looked back up at All Might.

"No," All Might stated, then held up two fingers. "We're going to move two steps ahead! Most of the time, fighting villains takes place outside, but if you look at the total numbers, the majority of the villains appear indoors at a higher rate."

Mayoki's gaze suddenly turned very serious.

"Imprisonment, house arrest, backroom deals - In this society filled with heroes, truly intelligent villains hide in the shadows." All Might explained. "For this class, you'll be split into villains and heroes, and fight 2-on-2 indoor battles!"

"Without basic training?" Asui questioned.

"This is a real battle to understand those basics! However, the key this time is that there's no robot you can just beat up."

"How will wins and losses be determined?" Yaoyorozu raised her hand and asked.

"Can we beat them up anyway." Bakugo added.

Dude that was a literal statement, not a question. Mayoki squinted at Bakugo as she just lightly rolled her eyes at his 'question'.

Uraraka then rose her hand as well. "Will the punishment be expulsion like with Mr. Aizawa?"

Mayoki was also about to raise her hand until Iida quickly followed Uraraka.

"How should the groups be split up? This class specifically is odd-numbered, so how will this be fair?" Iida questioned, making Mayoki groan.

I was LITERALLY about to ask that specific question. Screw you, Iida.

"I will answer all of them!" All Might exclaimed, his bright smile still locked on. Mayoki could feel that he was feeling quite anxious. From his back pocket, he suddenly took out a script.

"The situation is that the villains have hidden a nuclear weapon somewhere in their hideout. The heroes are trying to dispose of that. The heroes need to catch the villains or get the nuclear weapon back in the allotted time. The villains need to protect the weapon for the whole time or catch the heroes." He held up a cube box. "Teams and opponents will be randomly determined by drawing lots!"

Iida then quickly apologized for being brash. Then, All Might turned and pumped his fist into the air.

"Alright, let's start!"

Time Skip *>10 Minutes*

Mayoki stood in the camera room with Recovery Girl, visibly surprised by what just happened in front of her eyes.

In about 30 minutes, one person got extremely injured, with a round lasting almost 15 minutes. While the second group won in about a minute.

The first battle was between Team A (Midoriya and Uraraka) and Team D (Bakugo and Iida). The entire fight had a tight atmosphere, and instead of a villain and hero battle, it was literally just a Midoriya vs Bakugo. The fight was extremely suspenseful and reckless and is a little nervous about Midoriya's well-being. I'll go meet him after class is over. I still need to analyze my other classmates' quirks.

For a mini in-between break, Mayoki met up with Uraraka and congratulated her on the win. Iida then momentarily limply walked into the room, and Mayoki still tried to light up the mood, saying that Iida also did a great job with his villain act.

But as Bakugo entered the room, Mayoki got silent as Iida and Uraraka chatted off. The tension in the air got tenser as Bakugo walked past the trio. Mayoki decided to not interact with the blonde male, feeling a little blue for him.

The second battle ended in the blink of an eye. The moment the half-and-half male touched the building, ice exploded and froze the entire apartment. Actually, not just the apartment, but the room that Mayoki and her other classmates were in. 

As everyone shivered, Mayoki used the power of her Vision to make a red aura glow around her, keeping herself warm. She reached out a hand and touched Aoyama's shoulder, making him glow with a red aura. 

He sighed in satisfaction and gave Mayoki a thumbs up.

All of the other classmates look at Mayoki, including All Might. She rolls her eyes sarcastically as she lights up everyone in the room with a red aura until that half-and-half male melted the ice with his left side.

What an amazing quirk... though by the looks of his personality AND his hero costume... maybe he does not like to use his pyro- I mean- left side. Mayoki thought to herself, with a hand placed on her chin. But why?

"Come on Mayoki! It's our turn now!" Hagakure shouts out at Mayoki, making her turn and smile softly at the invisible girl.

FYI, Asui and Tokoyami were supposed to be in a team together, but for this fanfic, just pretend that Hagakure and Tokoyami switch places, meaning that Mayoki was teamed up with Asui and Hagakure, and Tokoyami was teamed up with Ojiro.

Asui, Mayoki, and Hagakure quietly roamed throughout the first floor, looking around in a defensive position.

Luckily, the three girls have already thought of a plan to fight against Sero and Kirishima, making it easier for them. But the bad thing was... they had no idea where they were located.

"Let's just look through each floor and see if anyone's up there," Asui suggested, making Mayoki and Hagakure nod in approval. 

"Then I'll take my gloves off now!" Hagakure announced, as two pairs of gloves fell onto the floor.

The three girls climbed up three flights of stairs until they heard some hushed whispers in one of the closed doors on the fourth floor.

Mayoki then gave one of her daggers to Asui as a just-in-case. The two (or three) girls nodded at each other, and Mayoki summoned her glowing red blade.

Asui then proceeded to kick the door open and serve as a distraction. Both males look directly at her as Sero started to shoot tape toward the frog. 

Kirishima then backed up to the fake nuclear weapon as he looked around, sweating horribly. Shoot! Hagakure is also on their team! If she gets too close to the nuclear weapon, we're done--

Kirishima's track of thoughts got distracted as all of Sero's prepared tape, got burned down. Both males looked around hastily, having no idea how that just happened. Even both Hagakure and Asui stared in shock.

Everything just got so silent.

Her entire class on the cameras just stared in shock. What in the absolute hell just happened?!

In the literal blink of an eye, Sero's tape burned and fell to the ground, as Mayoki's left palm was placed softly on the nuclear weapon. "Confined."
