Mayoki exhaustingly jogged in the halls of U.A. High. The last period had just ended and Mayoki was fast walking towards the train station.
She had already met with Midoriya who luckily was awake, and they both had a small five-minute conversation about what happened after his battle.
But ever since Mayoki, Asui, and Hagakure's battle with Kirishima and Sero, everyone grew quite horrified towards Mayoki. Sure, she held a Vision and it was quite rare. But... how was she moving at such speeds?
Mayoki was just about to walk past the front gate when someone called out. "Oi, dipstick."
She halted in her tracks as she sighed loudly. She turned around and made eye contact with none other than Bakugo Katsuki.
It was silent for a few seconds. It was just them, staring at each other, analyzing each person's behavior. Mayoki got annoyed and decided to speak up.
"What do you w--" "How did you do it."
"I- ... Huh?" Mayoki stiffened, self-questioning at what Bakugo was trying to imply. "I... beg your pardon?"
"Don't act stupid," Bakugo growled at her. "Everyone saw you during your battle with shitty hair and that tape bitch. How did you even move at rapid speeds like that." Bakugo stated then demanded, slowly walking closer and closer towards Mayoki.
Mayoki, not affected, just turned around and walked off. Bakugo, just froze, questioning what she just did.
"OI! WHERE THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOU'RE GOING?!" Bakugo shouted, staring at her from his position.
"South Miyagi." The girl sighed, walking faster than average towards the train station, not wanting to talk to the blonde-haired male anymore.
Bakugo watched as the foreign-looking girl just left without hesitance. He was quiet. Then, he was enraged. He was going to shout at her again but got cut off by Kirishima standing behind him.
"Dude, what are you doing? You look like an angry hedgehog." Kirishima commented, slightly chuckling at the comment he just made.
"WHAT DID YOU SAY SHITTY HAIR?!" Bakugo then directed his anger towards Kirishima, making the poor red-haired male flinch and slowly back away from the fuming blonde.

Mayoki jogged through the crowd as she exited the train station and headed toward one of the high schools. Shoot, I'm late. That freaking hedgehog.
She ran past the school's front gate and beelined towards their gym. As she was getting closer, the sound of bouncing volleyballs and shoes squeaking was heard.
She slammed the doors open and took off her shoes, "Sorry I'm late!" She slightly exclaimed.
"There you finally are, and here we thought that you were lost. Again." The sly male smiled, peering down at her short height.
Mayoki huffed, staring back at the male before walking towards the female's changing room. "You didn't warm up yet. Serve some balls with your teammates and pass to one other, Kuroo." Mayoki stated, leaving the male behind.
The said male sighed as he stared at her walking into the changing rooms. Yaku looked over at him and raised one of his eyebrows.
"Kuroo, you gotta stop joking around. You know she doesn't want to be here." Yaku sighed, receiving one of Lev's spikes.
"Hm? But why though? All I want to know is why she is just so tired of us." Kuroo rebelled, walking over to Yaku and spinning the ball on his finger.
"It's probably because of you," Kenma commented, clearly eavesdropping on their conversation, making the other team members slightly chuckle. "KYANMA!" Kuroo yelled.
In the middle of nowhere, a whistle blew. Everyone turned their attention to see Mayoki in sportswear, and her Vision stuck to the back a bit like Mona's. And next to her, was their former coach, Coach Nekomata.
All Nekoma members jogged over towards them, listening to what instructions they had next.
"Good job on warm-up everyone! But before we get into actual training, I have some very important news." Coach Nekomata started, gaining everyone's attention.
"We all know that all schools are going to be off for the spring holiday." Coach Nekomata started, everyone's heads nodding. So, next week, starting on Monday - which is in about 3 days -, we are going to go to a training camp and train with five other schools." He finished.
...
"HAH?!" The entire Nekoma team shouted in excitement, making Mayoki slightly shrink in her spot and bend her back. That was way too loud...
Mayoki then perked up. Wait... a training camp? With other schools?
Mayoki raised her hand, gaining the attention of all Nekoma members. Coach Nekomata nods at her, allowing her to ask her question.
"Which schools will we be training with?"
Coach Nekomata smirked devilishly, then took out his notepad from the back of his pocket. "We will be going against the following schools: Karasuno, Fukurodani, Aoba Johsai, Shiratorizawa, and Inarizaki."
The entire gym was engulfed with silence. It was so long, that Mayoki's ears started to ring, annoying her. To break the silent atmosphere, she bowed her head, "Thank you."
He then proceeded to add more detail about the camp. "The first four days of the camp will be all about volleyball training. Competing with other schools and helping each other improve. The last three days of camp are just like any other camp. There will be activities provided such as kayaking and biking. The schedule for it will come out soon, so I will give them to you when the time comes."
Coach Nekomata then claps his hands together, startling the majority of the members. "Alright! Now that the training camp's news is out of the way, now get back to training! Mihara, Naoi, take it from here."
"Hai." Both said people exclaimed in unison, as Mayoki collected all of the volleyball that was randomly distributed on the floor, while Naoi told the rest of the team what their training plan was for today.
Mayoki could not help the feeling that someone was watching her the entire time.

shit shit shit I'm so fucked.
Mayoki thought to herself as she sprinted out of the gym and towards the entrance of Nekoma, still in her gym clothes.
"Oi, Mayoki-chan! Where are you going?" Lev yelled out to her as he spotted her figure dash in the corner of his eye.
"To the station!" Mayoki whisper-shouted back to Lev. She took a harsh left turn and beelined towards the North Japan Subway Station.
Lev sighed to himself as he watched her dash away. "Lev."
Why is she always in a rush? He thought to himself. "Hello? Earth to Lev?"
Lev squinted his eyes as he thought deeply to himself. And more importantly, if she doesn't like volleyball, then why did she even join Nekoma's volleyball team? She doesn't even attend this school.
"HAIBA LEV!"
Lev jumped as he hastily looked around, wondering who just yelled out his full name.
"Ahem."
Lev then froze as he slowly looked down, staring into eyes of blazing hazel pupils. Lev shakily smiles, placing his right hand behind his nape. "Eheheh, sorry..."
The young male did a spin and kicked Lev harshly on Lev's back, an obvious and audible bone-cracking sound coming from the targetted spot, making Lev scream in pain.
"OKAY OKAY! I'M SORRY, YAKU-SENPAI!"
Yaku sighed as he noticed Lev's focused face as he was blabbering about how to properly receive a ball.
Yaku and Lev started to walk towards the front gate too, walking back home.
"Were you thinking about Mihara?" Lev's eyes widened at the mention of their female vision-wielding manager. He looked at Yaku shocked. "How did you know?"
"It was quite obvious. You know, the way you stared at her, made you look like an absolute pervert." Yaku commented, making Lev slightly offended. "... I was just analyzing her."
"You also noticed how she always sprints after training practices?" Yaku mentioned, and Lev nodded. "Yeah. She never tells us where she heads off to. All that I know is that she always heads over to the train station about a 15-minute walk from here." Lev recalled as he looks back down at Yaku.
"... Hm. It must be because of the homework she's given or something because she's in U.A." Yaku commented, as Lev's lips made the shape of an 'o'.
"Oh yeah... forgot about that." Lev nervously giggled to himself as the two of them walk towards a convenience store close to Nekoma.
Lev then thought about something. "Hey, Yaku-senpai?"
Yaku perked up and looked up at Lev. "Hm?"
"I... You know about the... I- Um- uh..." Lev stuttered but then got silent. Yaku looked up at him in concern. "You alright?"
Lev looked down at Yaku and nodded, "Yeah, never mind."
Yaku looked at Lev with a raised eyebrow, then decided to ignore his strange attitude.
Lev internally sighed. Thank god I stopped myself before asking him about Mayoki. I shouldn't talk behind her back. Lev noted to himself before walking into the convenience store with his shorter senpai.

The 47-year-old woman slightly screeched as her front door got slammed open. The strength used to open that door was so strong that the entire Mondstadt nation could probably hear it. Auntie Ester quickly whipped her head around and made eye contact with a rushing brown-haired girl.
"Geez, Mayo, you scared me really badly!" Auntie Ester audibly sighed, giving the girl a raised eyebrow and a sly smirk.
The girl bowed deeply as she continued to sprint, running up into her bedroom to get ready for the next task on her list. Finding her work clothes, she brought them with her into the bathroom to get showered.
Time Skip *10 Minutes*
Auntie Ester looked exasperatingly at the girl who was jumping around, trying to get her shoes into her feet while dusting her clothes off. She then smiled at the girl, admiring her work outfit.
"The outfit does really suit you, Mayo." Auntie Ester complimented as the girl grabbed her purse and her keys.
Mayoki looked at Auntie Ester and lowered her head, signifying that Mayoki was saying 'Thank you'.
She quickly checked the time on her phone. 6:22 PM.
...
6:22 PM?!?!?!
Mayoki's eyes instantly widened as she dashed out the front door. "Mayo, wai--!" The door shut behind her as she halted in her footsteps. She turned her head back towards the house, then sighed. It's fine. I'll just text her later to ask what she wanted to say.

Mayoki opened the doors to the tavern as she slightly panted. Checking the time again, it now was 6:29 PM. She sighed to herself and suddenly straightened her back and held her chin up high, proud that she was finally a little earlier than usual.
"Mihara Mayoki, I presume?" An employee greeted her, slightly making her flinch at the sudden voice. She looked at the male, and nod her head.
"Perfect, you're just on time. This way, the Master is waiting for you." He spoke as he told Mayoki to follow him to meet the supposed 'Master'.
The tavern tonight was very packed with thousands of people, all chatting away in their drunken states.
"Two more cups please!"
"So, I then told the poor lass..."
"Pack this up for me."
"Is there no restroom in here?"
"osmantus wine tastes the sa--"
Mayoki's ears started to hurt from how loud the people were. She definitely would've chosen another part-time job with fewer people and a more condensed space but... this job in particular paid a gorgeous amount of Mora, so she took the job.
They reached to the top of the stairs and there stood, in the flesh, the 'Master' of this tavern.
The employee told her that he would leave them alone and would wait for her behind the counter downstairs.
As the male employee walked off, Mayoki looked directly at the tall male, analyzing his body position. And then based off of that, his personality.
I wonder what his MBTI is--
"Hm. I never thought that you would be on-time for once, Mayoki." The Master commented towards Mayoki, and she shaked her head, slightly smirking.
"What can I say? You've known me for so long and I've never seen you quite so certain that I was going to be late, Master Diluc." The hazel-eyed girl smiled at the red-headed male, as he turned towards her and crossed his arms. "I'm not usually good at surprising people, but I guess today's a bit different." Mayoki continued, slightly losing Diluc's patience.
"Ahem. Anyways, it's time for you to get to work. Do you even know how to properly make alcoholic drinks?" Diluc bluntly asked. Mayoki got silent, sweating bullets as he sighed loudly.
Why did I even allow her to work here? My god, she's only 15. Diluc lowered his head, disregarding the reason.
"The only reason you allowed me to work here was that you knew about Miss Ester's lack of Mora, isn't it?"
Diluc looked at the girl, unfazed that she knew what he was thinking about. After all, they were childhood friends.
"You noticed how her shop wasn't going so well, and that she has to pay for both me and Leon's school fees, along with taxing fees," Mayoki added on, Diluc listening. "You would've never allowed me to work here if she didn't have any problems." Mayoki finished.
"You should be thankful that you even got the job. I know the exact reason why you applied." Diluc sighed as Mayoki fiddled with her fingers behind her back, softly smiling innocently toward Diluc.
The door to the tavern opened, which gained Diluc's attention. He turned and looked down to the first floor, observing who just came in. Mayoki, curious about Diluc's sudden change of attention, walked next to him and leaned against the railing, looking down at the two figures that just walked in.
"Finally, a place that actually piques my interest."
"Heard that Mayo is now working here, where is she exactly? I haven't met her in quite a while."
Both Diluc and Mayoki sweatdrop at the two vision-wielding people minding their own business at the entrance of the tavern. The two cryo-wielding figures sit down at the counter, softly chatting as they disregard the fact that two pyro-wielding characters were staring right down at them. Mayoki perks up, her eyes slightly shimmering.
"Ooh, I haven't seen Kaeya and Rosaria for months. Do they usually come to the tavern to chat?" Mayoki questioned as she looked at Diluc. She immediately sooched away from him as she could feel his incredibly annoyed aura oozing out of his body.
Deciding to leave him be, for now, she quickly rushes down the stairs and slides into the back of the counter, surprisingly not disturbing the two people. Diluc quickly followed, knowing that Mayoki did not think twice.
"How may I help you two?" Mayoki questioned, slightly startling the two of them. Rosaria looks at Mayoki with a soft smile as she crosses her arms, as Kaeya sits up straight, eyes slightly wide.
"It's been a while Mayo. How have you been? It felt like we haven't talked in years." Kaeya said, slightly leaning and placing his two elbows on the counter, supporting his head with his hands.
"Well--" "It's only been a few months." Mayoki started until she was hastily cut off by none other than, Master Diluc.
Kaeya huffs as he looks up at the redhead. "Eavesdropping on other people's conversations is quite insolent of you, Master Diluc," Kaeya commented, now leaning back on the stool.
Diluc merely rolled his eyes, ignoring Kaeya's response. Rosaria sighed as she just looked up at Mayoki. "A cup of the strongest drink you have here." She bluntly spoke as she looked back at Diluc. "Mayoki here is new. Teach her how to make it." Rosaria stared at Diluc as Kaeya nodded, agreeing with what Rosaria just said.
Diluc sighed as he turned around and took out some equipment needed to brew said wine.
Mayoki could not help but feel bad for Diluc. He always seems like he is angry or indifferent, but deep down, he's actually kind and worried for those to who he is close, even including that roach.
Mayoki disregarded that unnecessary thought as Diluc proceeded to teach Mayoki how to make the strongest wine they had in their shop.

Both Kaeya and Rosaria were passed out on the bar counter. Mayoki stared at them as her stomach churned, a nauseous feeling arising inside.
They drank 28 bottles of the same damn wine... I know their tolerance towards alcohol is high, so this much of it is probably... too much.
She picked up her stuff from the cabinet as she opened the door to the tavern.
She offered to take both Rosaria and Kaeya back to their houses to rest up for the night, but Diluc told her that he would be doing that, as he knew that she probably did not start on her homework just yet.
Mayoki thanked Diluc once again for letting her take the job as she waved at him while walking away from the tavern. He waved back at her and offered her to go to the Dawn Winery whenever she wanted to, whether it is to either study, train, or continue to practice making wine with him.

As Mayoki opened the door to her house, standing right in front of it... was none other than Leon himself, looking down at Mayoki with a disappointed expression on his face.
"May you explain the reason why you came back home at 10:19 PM?"
Mayoki just rolled her eyes as she pushed Leon out of the way and walked into the house, the door shutting by itself.
"Oi, don't just ignore me! You promised me that you would come back before 8 PM!"
Mayoki just ignored him as she walked up the stairs, beelining into her room. "I've got homework. Good night." She commented as she walked into her room and shut the door behind her.
Leon tightly balled his fists up, but then calmed down. He looked at Mayoki's bedroom door and sighed loudly.
Why can't she ever listen to others.
