Human greed can have a multitude of negative consequences. When individuals prioritize their desires for wealth and possessions, it often leads to a disregard for others and the environment.

This disregard is what causes social inequality, environmental degradation, and even health problems. For instance, when a company prioritizes profits over the well-being of its employees, workers may be subjected to unsafe working conditions or low wages.

This can lead to physical and mental health problems, financial struggles, and even poverty. Moreover, greed can also result in criminal behavior and harm to others. For example, when individuals amass large amounts of wealth through illegal means, such as fraud or embezzlement, they harm not only the people they steal from but also society as a whole.

Overall, it's crucial to recognize the negative impact of greed and strive for balance in our personal and societal values. We should prioritize empathy and compassion towards others and the environment, rather than solely focusing on our material desires.

Some people argue that greed can be a good thing. They believe that it is what drives people to succeed and achieve their goals. For example, an entrepreneur who is motivated by the desire to make a lot of money may work harder and take more risks to achieve their financial goals.

This can result in new businesses being created, jobs being created, and overall economic growth. Additionally, the pursuit of wealth can also lead to innovation and technological advancements that can benefit society as a whole.

As chemistry classes were about to begin, we were forced to work in trios. Well, surprisingly Horikita joined a trio which included Kushida and Mii-chan. Whilst I was sat there, completely alone.

So it was only natural for me to wait for the other students who didn't get to have a partner, to team up with me on this.

Yeah, it's quite embarrassing for me, to not have any friends to team up with quickly. But then, something quite weird happened. A bluish-haired girl came to my desk and took her chair as well.

She sat right across my desk, and guess what happened as well. The one and only, Hirata Yousuke then finally also decided to work with me. I don't know if it's out of pity, but honestly, I think he slowly got fed up with all the girls being over him.

So he decided to partner up with me and that girl?

"Ayanokouji-kun, can I work with you on this one?"

"...Sure? What is your name if you mind me asking?"

"A-Ah. Sorry for that, it was rude that I didn't even bother to tell you my name. My name is Haruka Hasebe." [A/N: I seriously am still confused about what her first name is. Same goes for Hiyori Shiina.]

"Pleasure to meet you. I am Kiyotaka."

"I am Hirata Yousuke, call me by my first name as well if you want." He then sat down on my left, like a triangle formation. Hasebe was in front of us and we two across her.

"Quite the weird team-up I'd say? Kiyotaka-kun and Yousuke-kun with me? Didn't expect this to be honest. Uhm do you know what the topic is, that we need to hold a presentation about?" Hasebe said, she sounded quite excited to work with me... Or maybe Hirata.

Either way, I am glad that it didn't turn into an embarrassment to find some partners for this presentation.

"Well, the task of our presentation is called: 'How Chemistry is used to Develop Cleaning Products?' I think we should find examples and do research about what they are made of and which parts of them are the most important."

As we were allowed to take out our phones, Hasebe stared at me.

She then showed me her screen, on which was written:

Create a new contact:

Phone Number:

Name:

First Name:

Naturally, I had no idea what to do with this information so I kept staring at it until Hasebe said:

"Fill it out please."

And so I did. Well her reaction to my last name was a bit funny since she lifted her eyebrows and quietly whispered: "(Suou? Like Suou-san?)"

Hirata didn't mind adding me to his contact list either and well, a new milestone. For the first time, I got contact information from somebody other than Yuki.

It was a girl and a boy. The boy was quite popular and the girl was rather one of the quieter sort of human.

And thus, I could say that I finally made friends. Not Ike who just used it to add me to the boy's group chat. Or Kushida who added me to the class chat.

This was quite a good feeling, I must say.

"Suou-kun?"

"Yeah- Wait. What?" As Hasebe called out to my last name, I automatically answered, completely falling into a trap that shouldn't have been triggered. Normally, you only see the first name of your contacts, however, she noticed that I used 'Suou' as my last name, which was quite weird for everyone except Ichinose and my sister.

"Are you related to Yuki Suou from Class B?" Hirata followed up, bringing up the theory about my sister and me being related. This was mentioned neither in my introduction nor hers. However, Hirata seemed always to have suspected it from day one.

And I may know why they had that suspicion. It was because my sister somehow is terrible at keeping something a secret and loves bragging about everything.

Even about the fact that she has an 'Onii-chan' in Class D

"Maybe, why do you think that? There are many Suou's in the world."

"Would be quite the coincidence. But don't you think it just sounds way too realistic? I mean, almost every pair of siblings I know is built just like that! One is a quiet loner and the other is some popular type of known beauty!", completely putting aside chemistry for now.

They seem to be more interested in my sister and me than in anything else.

"Well, Hasebe... I don't need to keep it a secret, do I? She is my younger sister."

"Kyaaa~ Big brother who came to look over his sister~"

Surprisingly, this is just why I came here. To look after her. If I wanted a peaceful life, I would have stayed with my mother in Seirei. And go to a high school there, instead of living in a dormitory in the most elite school in Japan.

Despite having average grades to begin with.

However. I am not a siscon.

"Just came for the education. Nothing more, like everybody else. What else would I choose this school for? Everything that this school has over other schools was just revealed to us."

"Eh? Not for your sister?! That's a shame... That would have been a great story to write a book about, a boy who came to an elite school, just to watch over his little sister!"

That's quite interesting I must say, but according to her, I am living in such a book.

"Well Kiyotaka, you and your sister seem to be two sides of a coin. I give that to Hasebe-san. Quite funny to me how I only got to know such a fact after two days. Your sister didn't mention any relationship towards you either?"

"Hmm? Did you ask her about it? If you don't mention it, then don't expect her to just talk about it out of the blue." I said to her defense.

But well, he wasn't that wrong I must say. It is certainly weird that she didn't talk about it to anyone, except Ichinose. Or so I would assume.

"Hmm? Suou-kun, you are quite too straightforward about that. I never saw someone like you, it's weird, yet funny with you." Hasebe said with a smile, then she focused her eyes on her phone again.

Hirata then began writing off some bullet points about the presentation, which we are supposed to hold next week. However, something was catching my eye.

Is Horikita not insulting anybody? Huh? Is she made to insult me only?

That is unfair, to be honest. It's always me who gets to see that side of people. But regardless, it's a fact that Horikita is fun to argue with.

She only brings up logical reasonings behind insulting me for whatever her problem with me might be. Is that some kind of masochistic thinking of me? That I like girls who insult me?

I should ask Yuki about that later. She seems to have the answer to everything including girls.

"Hehe~ Suou-kun looking at Horikita-san~" Hasebe attempted to tease me.

I thought that I escaped the daily dose of teasing and 'dirty' talk with Yuki, but it also seemed to follow me in school. A depressing reality it is.

Teasing girls are the best ones, that is a fact, however, once they know some weird kinks of yours, they will abuse their knowledge about your secrets brutally. Just like Yuki who got to know my kink for boobs.

"Don't you also wonder, Hasebe? She only is annoyed at me when I talk to her, but when others do that, she is speaking in a normal and non-toxic tone."

"E-Eh she just does that to have fun. Nothing more~ Don't worry about that." Hasebe said in an uneasy voice scratching her cheek.

Hirata kept quiet during that, concentrating, yet still listening to our conversation.

'Shit! He shouldn't realize her hostility towards him yet! Poor boy...'

"Okay? Anyways, can I ask you something Harsebe? What do you think of Ike and Yamauchi?"

"Huh? Why dropping their names so suddenly, Suou-kun?" She asked, looking confused at me, holding her index finger on her lower lip.

"Just asking, you don't need to honestly answer."

"I like them" That came quite surprising. As far as I know, even Yuki, who was from a completely different class, didn't seem to enjoy their presence in this school. Well, there are good reasons. Yet, I think there is no reason to completely hate them.

"Really?"

"No, you told me that I didn't need to honestly answer, Suou-kun."

Yeah, my hope for somebody respecting them is gone. It looks like every girl hates these two guys, despite their efforts in trying to collect the achievement of getting a girlfriend.

"Then? What do you think about them?"

"I don't hate these two, neither like them. Rather in your position, you should rather be a loner than risk your reputation by talking to them. It's only an objective 'opinion', so don't worry about it too much, Suou-kun." She said, answering my question perfectly.

Now, I have found some valuable information again. I should care about the choice of friends that I want to have.

If that friend of mine is getting marked as a 'pervert', I am automatically going to be as well marked as one.

This is a bit troublesome since I probably have to keep care. Should I get the reputation of being an 'Annoying Ikemen' or the one of a worthless human being, also called a 'pervert'?

There are also many other choices, but I think I've decided about what my goal is in terms of socializing with other people.

"Thanks for your opinion on them. What about you, Hirata?" I shifted my attention now toward the guy sitting on my left who was searching for information in the chemistry book.

He then laid the book down on the table and looked as if he was thinking about it deeply. To not say anything wrong or talk disrespectingly.

"I think...I don't have an opinion on them yet. I never talked with them in private. But judging by their behavior in class, not only theirs but for most of the students in Class D, we should focus on improving our studies and paying more attention in classes."

He said, objectively, he was right about that as well. I noticed that barely anybody was working, they were just talking to each other and eventually preparing the presentation on the day before.

This was an instinct of human behavior. Most of the people do that, which is quite bad to know.

Even I do that but with an even worse method. I am doing it in the last few minutes. To 'save' even more time.

"Okay, students, lessons for today are over. You are dismissed." And thus, we had finally arrived at lunch break.

Before we were going to have P.E., I would eat something here however, Yuki was desperately trying to convince me to eat in the cafeteria with her.

And well, I should also bring a friend. Otherwise, I am not allowed to get back into my dorm room since she secretly robbed me of both of my keys.

Inviting Hirata was no option since several other students invited him to eat with them. So I decided to ask Hasebe. But how should I do that without making it sound like a confession?

I mean, I am quite stupid when it comes to socializing.

'Grab her boobs and force her to come with you!' The little devil version of Yuki, sitting on my left shoulder told me to do something unspeakable.

However, the adorable Yuki on my right shoulder told me: 'Ask her if she wants to spend the lunch break with you.'

So I chose the better option.

I grabbed her left breast---

Nah just joking. I wouldn't do that. Well, not in public

Just joking. I would never do that. I am not that weird to randomly touch a girl's breast.

"Hasebe, I wanted to go to the cafeteria to eat with my sister, do you want to accompany me?"

Her eyes widened and she quietly nodded.

"Is something wrong?" I said, trying to keep the conversation going.

"N-No. I was zoning out a little. But yeah, I will accompany you for sure~" She said in a teasing voice, as we got out of the classroom.

Not even surprising. My sister was sitting on a bench in the hallway. There wasn't Ichinose on her left, but rather a girl who looked quite cute and had purple eyes and black-bluish hair tied in a ponytail.

Seeing that girl cross her legs was quite... erotic. That's how I'd describe what I just have seen.

"Took you some time Kiyotaka."

"Sorry Yuki, but Sensei stretched the lesson until the very last second. Did you wait long?"

"No, but still, I don't like to wait. Ah... Haruka Hasebe, am I right?" How did Yuki know her name? Despite these two never having talked to each other? The only girl that Yuki talked with, out of my classmates, was Kushida and Satou.

"Are you stalking my classmates?"

"N-No?! I just wanted to know the faces of your class!" Typical Yuki excuse for stalking every single person I ever talked with. Or even looked at. Mostly girls, since she is quite a bit protective when it comes to such creatures.

"Anyways. Yes, I am Haruka Hasebe, nice to meet you, Yuki Suou." Hasebe said in a calm voice, introducing herself to my sister. Whatever the name is of that girl next to my sister...

I need to know at this point.

"Pleasure to meet you, Hasebe-san. My name is Amikura Mako. Class B student. And?"

"Kiyotaka."

"Full name?"

"Kiyotaka Ay- Suou. I am Yuki's older brother. A pleasure to meet you." As Yuki stared at me, I quickly corrected my mistake. So now, Amikura and Hasebe finally seem to have received the confirmation.

Amikura somehow behaves identically to my sister. Hasebe does as well... Does that mean...

Nah, I shouldn't overthink it.

"Shall I call you by your first name, in order not to cause misunderstandings with your sister?" Amikura said we then began walking to the cafeteria.

"Sure, I don't mind."

Whilst Hasebe and Amikura were holding a conversation, Yuki suddenly adjusted her pace to mine, walking next to me.

The two girls in front of me didn't pay any attention to what Yuki was doing, so they didn't mind at all.

"(Your girlfriend?)" She whispered.

"(No. Just befriended each other, shortly before you did.)"

"(Sad...She also has big boobs~ I thought you were out hunting for her~)"

Typically Yuki. Even in public, she can't hold back these weird conversations about certain body parts of the female body. Whatever is wrong with her is quite unknown to me.

"(Don't overestimate me. I am not that good with women)."

"(Idiot. Do you think I am good with men? Just give it a shot~ You don't look bad and aren't that stupid, which means the chance isn't zero of her rejecting you.)"

Bold for her to assume that the chance of a relationship with her is that low. I mean, it isn't THAT low.

"(The girl which I brought with me.)"

"(Hmm? What about her, Yuki?)"

"(What do you think? Rate every part of her. Hair, height, thighs, waist, face, boobs, ass, eyes and personality. I am constantly trying to bring you some girls to get as your girlfriend. I consider my selection flawless.)"

That was another thing of her. It already started back when she was in middle school, she brought some of her friends home and secretly asked me about the same things in the hope that I would be interested.

Also, one fact is, that she would never make the mistake and introducing me to a bad person. It takes her high trust in that person to introduce her to me, she is also overprotective over me, thus I felt a sense of trust in almost every person she introduced me to.

"(She is fine. That's all I wanna say.)"

"(Your type? Or rather Kujou-san from your class? You were the boobs type of guy right? She has huge assets!)"

Now I am confused. Isn't that the silver hair from our class? Alisa Mikhailovna Kujou. Or just Alisa Kujou. She seems to be the best in our year, no remarks.

Some guys in our class already confessed to her, but just like Horikita, she went on and rejected them coldly. I haven't approached her yet, to try and start a conversation with her. But one thing is a fact: she was alongside Yuki and Horikita by far the most beautiful girl that I know.

Ichinose and Amikura are close, yet lack the elegance of Kujou, Yuki, or Horikita.

"(Kujou-san? I am confused and I still don't even know what you precisely mean by that. Besides, isn't it a little too early for you to make some ships with me and some girls? At least wait a little until you can select the options precisely.)"

"What are you two talking about?" Amikura turned around, with a face plastered in curiosity.

"Hmm? Ah, I just asked Kiyotaka what he thinks of the school as of now. What do you guys think about it by the way?" Yuki asked, to drift away from the conversation that she had with me just now.

Good question though. What do I think about this school?

To be honest, I am a bit conflicted with myself. I don't know how to objectively rate this school, since I never went to a school except elementary school before.

"I think it's a great place! Yet a little mysterious due to so many cameras. It makes me uncomfortable to walk around, knowing that I am getting watched every time I am in this school building." Amikura said, pointing out the fact that there are so many cameras watching us.

It doesn't make me feel uneasy. I am used to that, however, I am quite conflicted about what my sister thinks of them. She usually is insanely sensitive when it comes to that.

"Same with me. But also, the senpais are quite weird. Once you ask them about it, they shut their mouths and move on." Amikura said.

Indeed it was right, back then, when Sudou measured himself with three senpais, they also said something about us being about to face hell.

"Not only them, but the teachers are behaving weirdly as well. But anyways, we wanted to go to the cafeteria, didn't we?"

Just as we stood in front of it,
