Friendships, what are friendships?

Friendship is a special bond where people trust, respect, and support each other. Friends share interests and experiences, communicate openly, and show empathy.

They have a history together and help each other. It's a two-way relationship that makes life richer, and it can last a lifetime or be temporary.

This school is the perfect opportunity to find peace, make friends, and have fun finally. To establish a new fundament of the guy called Kiyotaka Ayanokouji, or in the future, just Kiyotaka.

Since it pains me to get called the same way that old man did. We certainly are related, but not under the same name. There will be an alternate reality, where I will eventually start to accept my existence of myself, in which I just accept who I am and who I am.

But in this reality, I, Ayanokouji Kiyotaka, should simply not exist. My existence is complicated and unnatural. My brain is capable of much more than others are, and that is a fact that is undeniable. Even back there, where everyone reached its limit, I was like an engine that kept on accelerating, no matter the situation.

An unstoppable train with huge amounts of power.

But why have I decided, to hide myself? After all, I could have kept on my true face before even starting to act 'natural'.

This---

"Ayanokouji-kun? What's wrong?"

Suddenly, Chie Hoshinomiya, my geography teacher called out to me, catching me off guard.

"I have asked you a question Ayanokouji-kun. Please answer it." Usually, this class was quite loud during lessons, with nobody paying attention.

However, this time everybody went quiet and paid attention to what I was about to say. Horikita on my right had a sadistic smirk on her face, hoping that I was about to suffer the maximum amount of damage.

However, the question, about how high London was above natural zero, aka. above sea level came unexpectedly.

Just looking at the map for half a second, I then answered the question:

"London's elevation above sea level varies across the city, but on average, it is approximately 35 meters above sea level. The city's terrain is relatively flat, and there are slight variations in elevation in different areas of London." I said.

She just stared at me in confusion.

"Ayanokouji-kun, you are on the question too far ahead. I meant, the question of how many constituent countries the United Kingdom is made of?"

"Four. England, Wales, Scottland, and Nothern Ireland. Of course, you could count others like Gibraltar but I think that's right?"

"Y-Yeah, thank you for the answers," Hoshinomiya said with a conflicted smile as if she didn't expect that I could quickly tell her, without even noting it or even looking at any kind of map in the meantime.

Horikita and the rest were as surprised. Only natural. Imagine seeing somebody getting caught off guard, spitting some information, getting reminded of what the question was, and then answering that correctly as well.

All that in around 23 seconds and without any type of lag in between.

"Huh? Just like that?" Horikita then whispered, which only I could be able to understand.

"What do you mean?"

"You were looking outside the window for the past 25 minutes, how did you get these answers correct? You barely looked at the map which was on my desk for about half a second. There is no way you could read the sea level of London and the provinces of the United Kingdom that quickly?" She worded out her confusion, as to how quick I am to answer such things in the back of my mind.

"Ah, I was listening but also looking outside the window. Nothing is worth mentioning, besides, I was a little prepared since I always memorize useless types of information."

"Eh? Do you even have your book anywhere?"

"In my bag."

"Just a little advice of mine, instead of just answering random questions while daydreaming, you should open the book to prepare for the questions that you could get asked to answer."

Ah... Right, I need to pretend like I never knew this stuff, even though I studied all of this six years ago...

"Thanks..."

"So, my students for the rest of this double hour, I would like everyone to do a partner work, with well, whoever you like to do this with."

Quickly, everybody found a partner, except me and Horikita, which meant, that we were forced to work together.

Hoshinomiya giggled at the sight of Horikita frowning when moving her desk towards mine, is that some kind of insult, to say that she hates to talk to me? Why can't she be a bit positive? Like at least be so nice and just don't say anything, if you want, then I can just do the work alone and you can relax.

But please don't humiliate me further than this in front of everyone.

"Come on, Horikita-san! Ayanokouji-kun isn't that bad of a partner. You two will maybe need cooperation later on. Besides, he isn't bad looking is he?"

"Sensei, even if he looks like the most handsome guy in the world, I doubt that any girl would fall for his low level of intelligence. He probably is allergic to intelligence."

Now that was completely unnecessary. Kushida and her group of friends were chuckling at this and other guys just kept on the humiliation arc. Like there was no reason for her to trash my whole existence with this.

Hoshinomiya chuckled herself, then went on to distribute some papers.

Story Note [S/N] : [( -> Whispering],  this will be quite important to know advancing the story: The languages Ayanokouji understands are: Italian, German, French, Russian, Chinese, Japanese, English, and Spanish. Why you may ask? You will know later on. This: "[]" will be when he is speaking another language. And yeah, this is a bit copied from: "Alya sometimes hides her feelings in Russian" / RoShiDere :) (Great novel btw, and planning to do a fanfic on that too once it advances further.

"(No need to insult me like that?)" I whispered, Horikita smirked at me, which somehow reminded me of some kind of villain.

"(I thought guys like it when the opposite sex insults them. You don't seem to be a masochist huh? That's unfortunate, you might have to live with daily insults. Quite sad hmm?)"

Looking at the easy tasks on the worksheets, I knew that Horikita would quickly do them and go on to move away from me as quickly as possible.

"[ΠŸΠΎΡ…ΠΎΠΆΠ΅, Π’Π°ΠΌ это нравится, ΠΎΡΠΊΠΎΡ€Π±Π»ΡΡ‚ΡŒ мСня. ΠŸΠΎΡΠΌΠΎΡ‚Ρ€ΠΈΠΌ, насколько Π²Π°ΠΌ понравится эта ΠΈΠ³Ρ€Π°.]" -> "(Seems like you are enjoying it, insulting me. Let's see how much you will like this game.)" [I am going to do this on this method. I will stay with Russian for now, since I only know the basics of Russian right now.]

"(Could you repeat that, Ayanokouji-kun? What language was that?)" She said in a whisper, with visible confusion on her face.

"(Ah nothing. I meant that we should go back to working on this one. I am talking quite fast, so don't mind my gibberish sometimes.)"

 "(...Right. Ayanokouji-kun. Have you noticed?)"

"(You mean the cameras?)" Somehow I was proud.

Horikita caught it pretty quickly, that we are secretly getting monitored. It felt like I was in a real elite school. Not in some shell that is getting marketed as one.

Should I praise her? Should I invite her for a date to a restaurant? There are many options to thank her for actually showing competence in comparison to the rest-

"(What cameras?)"

My expectations were shattered and my day was ruined. How could I place my whole trust in her when she failed to open her eyes and scan a simple room?

Should I give her hints, that this so-called paradise is a wolf in sheep's clothing? That everyone here underestimated the actual term of elite school? People think that these cameras are here to avoid crimes like stealing, blackmailing, or vandalizing.

But I have a different view on that. I think, that these cameras are there for monitoring our behavior.  There are many possibilities and I won't exclude any of them.

But realistically speaking in this situation, I assume that these cameras have a darker purpose than everybody else assumed.

"(Nothing. What did you mean, Horikita?)"

"(Ah, did you notice how weird the teachers are acting?)"

Is this what Hoshinomiya meant earlier? Cooperate?

I have the senses to spot cameras and other unnatural things around me. However, Horikita detects weird behavior patterns in teachers and other people.

With this, she is a missing piece of my observational skills. I could help her out and she could help me out. But that isn't my goal right now, after all. I came here to live an ordinary life, with nobody annoying me.

"(Huh?)"

"(Ayanokouji-kun, what do you think she meant with cooperate?)"

To be honest with me. I know what she meant, but would it be natural for me just to expose the reason for that, just like that?

"(Maybe so we could strengthen our relationships?)"

"(Partially. I think that there might be more to it, after all, there wouldn't be any reason for her to do something like that. After all, even Chabashira and Sakagami-sensei didn't seem to care. Just her and Mashima-sensei, who also proposed the idea of working with partners.)"

"(Π—Π°ΠΊΡ€Ρ‹Ρ‚ΡŒ)" [Close one]

"What?"

Horikita again caught something with her ears, my Russian was quite confusing to her. It looks like she still didn't realize that I am a bit different huh?

"(I meant that this is weird.)"

"(Ah...But do you think we will get an explanation for that? Also, you didn't need to keep the fact that there are cameras in each corner of this room, hidden. I already know that.)"

Huh? Seems like my hopes weren't all in vain. Even she knew that there must have been something off with all of this.

"(In the end, we should just wait and hope others notice as well. It would be weird to suddenly ask these weird questions to Chabashira. However, I understand where you are coming from. Want to meet up later and discuss that? I have something else to talk about as well-)"

Suddenly, I sensed that the teacher was approaching us and completely cut the conversation, to avoid getting caught. It wasn't prohibited to talk. Rather we should do partner work. But this conversation is quite risky to hold with a teacher close to us.

Horikita just nodded at me, probably accepting my proposal.

Sensei then got to the back row, standing right behind Horikita.

"Seems like you two are getting along huh? Sensei has the best intuition after all."

She then looked freaked out at the worksheet that she gave us earlier, seeing absolutely nothing on it.

"You two get along so well that you even miss the part where you had a task to complete?"

"I apologize sensei, but I still think that we will finish earlier than the rest."

"Then you must hurry up, Horikita-san. Until you need to hand it to me you have ten minutes left."

That's quite challenging I must say. To not disturb us any further, Hoshinomiya then moved from our desks to the other groups.

"(You do the front, I do the back. Then we will exchange.)" Horikita quickly compromised, starting to work at a quick speed.

Just like me, but regardless of that information, I was the faster one and went on to do the back of the worksheet as well.

As soon as I finished both, she barely finished the first page. Staring at me.

"(You sure that your answers are correct?)"

"(How come that you think otherwise, Horikita?)"

She frowned at me and compared her answers to mine, after quickly realizing that all of my answers were correct, she then went on to copy all of my answers.

"(Your handwriting is computer-like. I can't tell it apart from the printed letters, other than its thickness giving it away.)"

"(Thanks for the compliment.)"

Hoshinomiya then clapped her hands, she started to pick up each worksheet from the back to the front, and with that, the lessons ended.

However, I got a weird feeling like I forgot something. Something unimportant yet important...

I am unsure of what it could be but-

"Ayanokouji-kun, it seems like you forgot to write your name on your worksheet."

This was one of the few sentences that shook the composure of every man. And mine was an exception.

How can I be so stupid and forget that? Well with an exclusion procedure, she will eventually find out whose sheet that was.

The club fair was also quite... boring.

Only one thing was a sudden information for me. Horikita Manabu, the student council president, seems to share the same name as Horikita Suzune. That's probably it. Well, I was also added to the boy's group chat of our class

So nothing interesting happened.

Until well, I stood at the front of my dorm room with quite some bit of anxiety. I already could sense what was coming, so I slowly opened the door and was then met with the sight of a pair of shoes belonging to...

"Onii~chan, hehe, how's your day been?"

"Π― выгляТу Π²Π·Π²ΠΎΠ»Π½ΠΎΠ²Π°Π½Π½Ρ‹ΠΌ?" [Do I look worried/excited?]

"Nii-Nii, have you already found friends?"

"Well..." This is going to disappoint her. She already forced me the second before we got on the school bus to behave myself and maybe even achieve the goal of getting a girlfriend.

"Π Π°Π·ΠΎΡ‡Π°Ρ€ΠΎΠ²Π°Π½ΠΈΠ΅" [Disappointment.]

"How about you, Yuki?" Yeah. That's my sister. Yuki Suou. We are 11 months apart, and funnily enough, the same year. Both first years in this weird school.

Which has the same surname as me. We both are Suou, well I am also called Kiyotaka Suou. But that fact aside, not a single person got to know my actual name.

"Positive! My class seems to be the better class hmm? I got to know a few girls!" She smiled happily

"That's nice Yuki. So quite popular again?" Back in the last year of middle school, she got to be the president of the student council, whilst this was the actual first time for me to go to school.

Something my mother always wanted is happening right now huh?

"You idiot would be popular as well if you maybe slept more and thus get more motivation?"

Right, the brutal words of a younger sister hurt most of the time.

"However, Nii-san. Does anybody even use your new name yet?" I am still not that far to even call myself like that daily.

It just feels so wrong, yet so much better to say 'Suou Kiyotaka' since that wouldn't remind me of my past. However, every time I get mistakenly called Ayanokouji, I get somewhat...confused.

Like how shall I react to that?

"I am impressed how you adapted to calling me Nii-san."

"Eh? Isn't that normal for siblings to do so?"

"We aren't children anymore."

"O-Only kids do that?! Eh, Kiyotaka you meanie! I am not a kid anymore, just look at the chest of mine~" Somehow, something was surely wrong with my sister.

The white room never had a huge impact on her in terms of personality, which was quite interesting to me, since she didn't seem to be on the verge of a breakdown like my mother was when she got to know how inhumanly my father secretly trained me.

After mother divorced him, we weren't that rich anymore. Rather lower middle class to average. My mother, who was Russian, then also decided to go back to Russia, to stay in Japan for the educational opportunities for me and Yuki.

"How did you get in my room anyway? It's been one day and you somehow managed to illegally get a key to my room?"

"You don't like that, because I could barge into a session that you are having with other women? I apologize Onii-chan."

"You apologize and still don't want to give me the key to my room?"

"Can't I just stay in my brother's room?! I mean, you love me, don't you!"

Woman honestly. Trying to abuse the fact that she is my adorable younger sister... Well, I can't force her, can I? She had a hard problem with asthma, thus I probably developed some kind of protective mechanism over her. Thanks to that, my father never got the opportunity to train her just like me in my leisure time...

Sometimes we need to thank god that there is something bad happening huh?

"Fine. But don't get here in secret. Always tell me when you are about to come over. Besides, you didn't decide to spend time with your friends today? We haven't seen each other yesterday."

"Ah right. I told them that I wanted to rest. So I came here, an area where nobody could annoy me. And my brother is here as well."

"You made it sound like I was the last reason you got here. I assume that you accidentally told your friends where exactly your room was and now you get annoyed when some of them come over to you huh?"

"That was the case yesterday. Now, Kiyotaka. Found any girl? Big boobs? Thick thighs? Or even worse... Black hair?!"

"If you are trying to describe yourself with that, I want to friendly remind you of your chest size."

"Baka! I am going to kill you if you say that again!" However, whilst saying that, Yuki was just smiling at me, cutely. As if she knew that I found her secretly adorable for a sister.

[A/N: This is Yuki Suou from Roshidere and now Kiyos lil sista]

"But well, to answer your question, there may be beautiful girls, but somehow they don't like me."

"Eh? That's no problem! I could just go and pretend to get stuck in the washing machine-"

"Don't mutter too much nonsense. We are siblings, which means that my name will also get dirtied if you say such things to other guys."

"Don't forget that you are my only interest, Nii-Nii~ And I have told nobody that we are siblings. You didn't do either am I right?"

I nodded in response, she was quite conflicted, judging by her facial expression right now.

"Y-You think I am too awkward to brag about?! I am still the cute type of sister everybody wants!"

"Are you allergic to the basic human intelligence?" Yeah sorry Horikita, I stole your line. But dealing with a younger, mentally ill sister is way too hard for me.

After all, she was always hard to deal with, and she knew it. Asthma weakened her body to the point, where she had almost zero opportunities to do sports back when she was 7 to 13 years old.

She barely can hold herself with 13 or 14-year-olds physically, although she is about to turn 16 soon...

She got these genes from my mother, who also fell ill quite quickly once she got back from work.

And it pained me to see both, my younger sister and my mother ill. A 14-year-old with that kind of responsibility is quite rare to find, yet I managed perfectly. And thanks to the white room training that I secretly got, I can come up with Yuki's weakness.

"Eh?! Who taught you that
