Amelia sat with the slytherins outside in the ground. She was reading the books on how to tame dragons thoroughly meanwhile Draco and Blaise were distributing batches about 'support Cedric Diggory, the real hogwarts champion'.

She didnt pay much attention to it. Her badge from last week lost and she didnt even notice, because she was intensely indulged in collecting information about how to save her boyfriend's arse.

"Why so tense potter?" Draco called while sitting on the tree. Amelia jerked her head up at the name.

"My father and i have a bet you see, I say you wont last ten minutes, he disagrees" Draco continued and jumped down the tree, Amelia rolled her eyes at the dramatic boy.

"Draco stop" Amelia called deadpanned. He ignored her and turned back to Harry.

"He says you wont last five" Draco said and everyone around him burst into fits of laughter. Amelia stared in pity at the bespectacled boy.

"I dont care about what you father thinks Malfoy! He is vile and cruel and you are pathetic" Harry bursted out angrily at him. Just before Draco could take his wand out someone else from somewhere fired a spell on him turning him into a ferret.

Professor Moody came angrily with his wand pointed at Draco erm ferret. Amelia widened her eyes in horror and rushed towards him, Draco's friends staring at him in disbelief while Harry's friends snickered.

The professor bounced the ferret up and down which climbed in Crabbe's pants, he shrieked in horror. Meanwhile Mcgonnacal came with horrified expressions.

"Is that is that a students!?" She exclaimed bewildered.

"Technically its a ferret" Professor moody said.

"Professor thats Draco" Amelia said worried to Mcgonaccal.

"Transform him back this instant" Mcgonnacal yelled. Moody transformed Draco back to his original self.

"My father will hear about this!" He yelled threateningly and ran away followed by his friends.

They all went to the slytherin common room, Draco wouldnt come out of his dorm because of embarrassment.

"Blaise just drag him out" Amelia said folding her arms standing infront of the boys dormantry.

"He won't open the door" Blaise yelled from outside the door. Amelia huffed and quickly took a parchment and a quill writing a note. She ran towards where Blaise was standing outside Draco's dorm. He had separate dorm.

"Blaise leave, all of you" Amelia said folding her arms. All the boys gave her wierd looks before leavig quitely.

Amelia slipped the note which she wrote right now under Draco's door. And waited patiently for something to happen. After a couple of minutes the door opened just a bit. She took it as a sign to go in quickly. Everyone outside gasped at this.

Amelia saw Draco's room was a mess, he broke several things. She looked in front of her as he had his back facing her. Amelia inhaled sharply and went forward to place a hand on his shoulder which he shrugged off quickly.

She tried again and again until she turned him around briskly and made him sit on the bed in one push. She dragged his chair from the study table in front of him for her to sit. Draco looked bewildered at the speed of the girl.

"Let it out" She said. He stared at her like she had three heads. Amelia could see his eyes were red, but she didnt know whether it was because of fury or crying.

"I know you feel bad, actually worst, that gross man deserves to have his head shaved and other eye too popped out." Amelia said angrily. She saw Draco clenching his jaw at the mention of that man.

"But just because of him are you really gonna spend rest of your life here like you just dont exist?" She asked with a sad smile.

"He totally embarrassed me in front of the whole school Amelia, everyone who will see now will laugh at me" Draco said earnestly.

"Doesnt stops you from putting a few puking pastilles in his drink" Amelia said innocently. Draco stared at her in disbelief slowly the smallest of smiles forming on his face.

"Fine, but i will just hex someone if they laugh at me" Draco said warningly.

"I'll be with you in that Drama queen" Amelia said rolling her eye smiling at the boy.

"Dont call me that!"

"Then get up and bitch about Potter with your friends"

"You make me sound like an obsessive teenage girl"

"Except you're a boy" Amelia said shrugging standing up.

"Hey fix the mirror i want to see my face" Draco said. Amelia shook her head and fixed everything in the room.

"Is my baby brother ready?" She asked from behind sitting on his bed while he fixed his hair for what felt like hours.

Draco turned around with a small surprised smile on his face.

"You called me your brother" He stated more than asking.

"Yep you are my baby brother" Amelia said standing smiling innocently. In an instant Draco ran towards her and brought her in a tight hug surprising her.

"Although i am not a baby and you are annoying but i would love to have you as a sister" He said pulling away. Amelia laughed.

"And you said you're not a Dramaqueen" she said laughing.

"Shut up, lets go" he said rolling his eyes. He felt a piece of parchment in his pocket and brought that out, the one Amelia passed from under his door.

"Did you seriously try to threaten me that you will color my hair weasley red if i dont open the door?" He said holding the paper.

"It worked"

Its beem a week since the day Draco was made a ferret for a while. Many gryffindors made fun off him, but he charmingly took revenge.

Amelia was grateful that he was taking it lightly and not as a drama queen he was. What happened in his room stayed in his room, no one outside questioned what happened, or how did Amelia managed to bring him out.

Everyone knew they were cousins and that too like brother and sister. So no one really questioned Amelia's this act. After that a very important thing had been keeping Amelia stressed throughout.

Amelia had been keeping herself busy helping Cedric prepare for his first task. She made sure he was fully prepared and return unharmed after the task.

After a week the first task arrived Amelia was on her way to the tents of champions with Cedric. She kept rambling about being quick and use important spells to stun dragons.

"I promise Amelia, i'll be fine" Cedric said trying to calm her.

"Dont tell me that if you return with broken bones" Amelia said glaring at him.

The audience had taken its place already and roared loudly already. Amelia entered the champions tent with Cedric and saw, Harry, Fleur and Victor already there.

Harry glanced at her for a second before briskly turning away. Amelia kept her whole attention on Cedric making sure he remembers everything. Cedric looked around and got up to drag her in a corner of the tent.

"Why have you brought me here-" She asked by Cedric stopped her by planting his lips on hers. He slowly pulled away.

"To shut you up" he said softly and chuckled because it worked.

Meanwhile they heard a flash sound in front of them and both jerked away to see, Rita Skeeter, Editor of Daily Prophet who just captured them kissing.

"Young love birds" She said smiling extra sweetly and writing down before going away.

Amelia widened her eyes and looked at Cedric, who didnt seemed like he cared.

"She just captured us kissing, we'll be on the front page tomorrow, all thanks to you" Amelia hissed.

"Are you ashamed of me?" Cedric asked in a hurt and serious tone. Amelia stared at him.

"What no! Never, i am not ashamed Cedric, i just dont want everyone to know like that-"

"I was just joking, dont worry, i know you are not" Cedric said chuckling. Amelia shook her head smiling.

Meanwhile her eyes fell on another unexpected member in the tent, Hermione.

Dumbledore came with Barty crouch who had a bag in his hand, all the champions gathered around him. Barty crouch told everyone to dig one dragon out of the bag.

Amelia stood beside Cedric when it was his chance, she crossed her fingers in hope of an easy harmless dragon. Cedric pulled out a small dragon in his hand which was Swedish Short Snout. Amelia couldnt have been happier, it was one of the most almost harmless dragon, except it just exhaled fire.

"Cedric, we have read about it, okay you know how to do this" Amelia said to him. He nodded seriously.

Dumbledore noticed Amelia and Hermione amd told them to leave. Amelia being a stubborn one didnt leave before giving Cedric a tight long hug wishing him luck. Both the girls left. Amelia sat with the slytherins ofcourse.

The task started Cedric was the first one to go. Amelia had prayers going on in her mind throughout, Draco told her to calm down, but she wouldnt. Cedric knew where she might be sitting amd his eyes landed on her, he passed her a warm smile, getting a smiling nod in return.

"Did you seriously have to date him out of all people?" Draco grumpled.

"Whats wrong with him?" Amelia asked.

"He's a hufflepuff, they are softie" He said.

"Shut up the real softie here is you" Amelia said laughing.

Meanwhile Cedric tried to stun the dragon and he almost reached to the golden egg before the dragon exhaled fire at him burning half of his face. Amelia shrieked in horror, Draco had to hold her from not jumping from the stands.

Finally Cedric retrieved the golden egg and left. The rest of the task was a blur for Amelia. Her mind was continuosly focussed on how bad he might be hurt.

After the task ended she ran in full speed to where she would find Cedric.
She found him laying on the bed his eyed closed, the golden egg beside him. The other champions were being operated by Madam Pomphrey.

Amelia ram towards him worried and harshly hit him in the chest making him yelp and then chuckle when he noticed it was her. He sat up straight in the bed ready for a lecture.

Amelia's eyes fell on the side of his face which was burnt. Tears formed in her eyes as she raised her hand to touch the burn marks and he hissed.

"You should have been careful" She said in a croaking voice. Cedric gave her a sad smile.

Amelia quickly brought out her wand and started healing his wounds, she didnt wait for madam pomphrey, she was capable of doing that herself. The tears in her eyes grew heavier when at every second he hissed in pain.

"Done" she muttered, putting her wand back in picket and looking down. Cedric smiled and stood up taking her hand in his and pulled her out of the room. On his way he told Ernie to get the golden egg to his room.

"Thankyou" He said smiling down at her, but she had her head down throughout.

He stopped and stood in front of her, gently putting his fingers under her chin to make her look up, she stubbornly tried to keep her face down but lost.

Cedric's mouth parted when he saw a heavy tear rolled down her red puffy eyes. He pulled her into chest and she wrapped her arms around him tightly.

"I am sorry" he said sadly resting his chin on her head while she sobbed against his chest.

"It could have been worse" she sobbed burying her head in his shirt.

Cedric slowly pulled away leaning down a bit to face her. He wiped her cheeks, she sniffed and looked away.

"I am sorry, i will be more careful next time also you healed me" He said softly.

"I will not be there everytime" She said in a cracking voice. She remembered this line said by her mother to her many time this month. She felt like she knew a lot about what was going to happen.

"You will always be there" He said throwing an arm around her shoulder. She shook her head arms folded.
