Amelia sat with Cedric on the hufflepuff table, Ernie across them passing them suggestive glances once in a while making them go red.

Amelia playfully glared at him, and looked away her eyes landed on the ravenclaw table where here beauxbatons friends sat. She waved at a few of them until her eyes landed on the same asian girl who was glaring daggers at her.

"Now I cant bear it anymore, what's up with her, why is she always glaring at me?" Amelia exclaimed in a whisper turning to cedric.

"Who?" Cedric asked confused.

"That girl look" Amelia said pointing at the girl who was now busy talking to her friend. Cedric glanced at her and looked away grumpily.

"What?" Amelia asked confused.

"Ignore her" Cedric said. Amelia glanced at her then turned back to having lunch.

After lunch Amelia had Dada class, ofcourse she didnt like the idea of being taught by some spooky mysterious professor and also who was not her godfather.

The class went on with the professor being a jerk, he was rude and harsh throughout, he almost made Neville cry by asking him about the cruciatus curse, the curse was responsible for his parents being in st. Mungos, they were suffering till now. He taught about the unforgivable curses, no student liked him.

After leaving his class Amelia was on her way to the slytherin common room, but on her way she was suddenly pulled into an empty classroom by someone. Before she could scream a hand covered her mouth to prevent any sound.

"Its me its me" she widened her eyes on hearing Cedric's voice, she could see his face as it was darkout.

She nudged him harshly making him yelp.

"I could have died of a heart attack" She said with a clenched jaw.

"stop being dramatic" Cedric said rolling his eyes smiling.

"Btw why in the first place i was dragged her?" She asked folding her arms.

"Um just wanted to see you" Cedric said shrugging. Amelia smiled.

"Why? were you missing your girlfriend Mr. Diggory?" Amelia asked playfully.

"Can say, just dont tell her" Cedric whispered playfully. Amelia chuckled and gestured zipping her lips.

"Btw who is the unfortunate girl?" She asked playfully.

"A little grumpy kitten she is" Cedric said playfully reaching out hold her hands.

"Hey i am not little and grumpy" Amelia exclaimed.

"Whatever, btw i want something" Cedric said interwining their fingers.

"What?" She asked raising an eyebrow. She saw Cedric's gaze falling on her lips from her eyes, and her breath hitched as he leaned a little. She looked away nit knowing why. Cedric scowled a bit.

"I feel offended now, you dont even let me tell anyone about us, and wont have time for me, you are always busy with your old friends" Cedric grumpled folding his arms.

Amelia rolled her eyes smiling at the big baby. She clutched to his collar with one hand and briskly pulled him down, and planted a chaste kiss on his cheek, beside the corner of his mouth.

"Only this much because next time you know not to drag me like this and scare the shit out of me" Amelia said smiling slyly letting his collar go.

"Bbye" she sing songed and left and instantly collided with a strong muscular figure, stumbling a bit.

"Hey Amelia, sorry" Ivan said with a side smile not looking sorry at all.

"Hi Ivan, how are you?" Amelia asked trying to be nice.

"I am good, um i actually wanted to ask you something" he said scratching the back of his head.

"Ask away" Amelia said with a small smile.

"Um would you like to go on a date with me?" He asked smiling, and in an instant Cedric who heard everything came our of the classroom and stood beside Amelia really close. Here we go. Amelia thought to herself.

"Everything alright darling?" He asked turning to Amelia, slowly putting an arm around her waist. Amelia gave him the look but he only tightened his grip pulling her towards him. Meanwhile looking at them Ivan looked like his cat died.

"Cedric Diggory" Ivan said with bitterness in his tone.

"Yes mate, thats me, and who you might be?" Cedric asked holding his other hand out, his tone a bit rude too.

"Ivan Schmidt" He said shaking his hand. Both boys glaring daggers at each other. Amelia found it hard to break the thick tension between them.

"Um, i guess, Ivan, i couldnt be able to go with you, sorry" Amelia said awkwardly trying to shrug Cedric's hand off but Cedric had no such plans.

"Its alright Amelia, maybe some other time" Ivan said glancing at her softening his gaze for a moment.

"I guess you'll have to wait for a longer while mate, come love" Cedric said and turned himself and Amelia around without waitig for a second and started moving.

"You were so rude to the poor boy" Amelia said, his hand still on her waist.

"Really you feel bad for him unbelievable" Cedric scoffed.

"Do i sense jealousy?" Amelia asked playfully nudging him.

"Why would be jealous of that ape?" Cedric asked.

"Seriously he looks like an ape to you!?" Amelia exclaimed snorting.

"Yep, did you see how he was looking at you and also he asked you on a date" Cedric said.

"But i said no" Amelia sing songed. Cedric rolled his eyes smiling.

"You know i am not gonna fall" Amelia said cheekily. Cedric gave her a questioning look, Amelia gestured to his hand still holding her from waist.

"How can you be so sure about that?" He asked matching her tone.

"Because Cedric Diggory, i am already fallen" Amelia said ripping out of his grip and running away. Cedric watched her go amused and flustered.

Now most of the slytherins knew about Amelia dating the pretty boy Diggory, Draco was the most pissed, while her female friends were so glad.

Amelia decided to give them time to digest the fact and stayed in her common room with the twins. Fred has still not recovered from the little trauma of his other best friend dating someone.

They all saw a tensed Harry come inside the room, as soon as he came Ron left and Hermione too reluctantly. Amelia didnt like Hermione behaving this way, atleast she could have tried solving disputes between her two best friends.

Harry sat alone in one corner, not having anywhere else to go. After some time the twins left to their dorms with Lee. Amelia couldnt unnotice how sad Harry looked. Debating in her mind she decided to go and atleast talk to him. Harry gave her a startled and weird look seeing her approach him.

"Oh come Harold, dont be surprised" Amelia said sitting down in front of him. Harry rolled his eyes.

"What do you want?" He asked a bit grumpily.

"Um a cheeseburger please" Amelia said with a smile. Harry gave her a deadpanned look.

"I am tensed Amelia" Harry said with a bit raised voice. Amelia rolled her eyes this time.

"I know grumpy bird but what exactly for?" She asked.

"The first task" He said gloomily. Amelia paused for a moment, Cedric too must be preparing himself for the first task.

"Um what about that?" She asked with a raised eyebrow. Harry looked around making sure no one was watching.

"Its dragons" He whispered. Amelia widened her eyes, thinking now Cedric will have to fight dragons.

"How do you know that? Are you sure?" Amelia asked.

"Ofcourse I saw them from my own eyes in the forest" Harry said.

"Do you mind if i tell this to Cedric too?" Amelia asked hesitantly. Harry stared at her, he too have been quite hearing a few rumours about the two of them. He pursed his lips and nodded slowly.

"Um wait, How about you tell him yourself?" Amelia asked stopping she felt it was better if Harry gave Cedric the information himself.

"Sure" Harry said nodding.

"Thanks, tell me if you need any help" Amelia said huffing and getting up with a smile.

"Wait Amelia" Harry stopped her as she was about to leave. Amelia looked at him waiting for him say something.

"Is it- is it true, um that you and erm Cedric are dating?" Harry asked stuttering and nervously. Amelia stared at him debating whether to tell him or not, although atleast half of the school knew.

She pursed her lips and nodded and left giving him a small smile. Harry stared at her watching her go, he didnt knew why he felt a tight tension in his chest. He felt more pissed.

Amelia sat with Cedric and his friends outside, all praising and teasing him for being the champion and distributing badges to support Cedric diggory.

Amelia was secretly reading a book on dragons, to which they all didnt pay much mind. Amelia smiled to herself as Cedric put an arm around her shoulder while talking to his friends, she went back to reading.

A few moments later Harry came in their direction. His gaze fell on Amelia and Cedric who were not only sitting awfully close but also Cedric had his arm around her. He scowled before going towards their direction.

"Hey Potter" Some of Cedric's friends mocked him. Amelia jerked her head up to see why was he here. He glanced at Amelia and immediately looked away.

"Cedric can i talk to you" he said looking at Cedric, ignoring Amelia's gaze. Cedric stared at him before removing his arm from Amelia and stood up to go a little away fom the group. Amelia watched them as they both talked.

"Hey Amelia wear this" Blaise came with a box of badges in his hands. Amelia rolled her eyes saying no.

"What dont you want to support your boyfriend?" Ernie asked defensively, other hufflepuffs joined him too.

"Fine" Amelia said quickly taking the badge which had 'Support Cedric diggory the real hogwarts champion' written on them. She smiled at his picture and quickly put that on her shirt. She didnt notice the picture and
text on it changed in once in a while.

Harry and Cedric returned back to them. Cedric sat on his earlier spot beside Amelia with an arm around her again, she didnt mind she was used to it by now. Glaring at his arm, Harry's gaze fell on Amelia's shirt which had a badge on it saying 'Potter Stinks'.

He stared at her liked she killed his parents, she didnt notice because she was busy reading. With a hurt look on his face he stormed away. Amelia looked at him weirdly before turning to the boy beside her.

"What happened to him?" She asked. Cedric shrugged.

"I think the lad is a bit depressed, he also told me something about the first task" Cedric said, Amelia widened her eyes in surprise.

"Did he tell you about dragons?" She asked, Cedric raised an eyebrow at her. She stood up and held his hand.

"Come"

"How can you say he was not lying?" Cedric asked frowning. Him and Amelia sat in library.

"I dont know, i just felt like he was telling the truth" Amelia said.

"Um okay, then what are we going to do about it?" Cedric asked leaning on the table.

"Wait" Amelia said and got up to go to the shelves and pick up several heavy worn out books and dropped them all in front of him on the table.

"Silence" Madam Pince yelled.

"What's all this?" Cedric asked wide eyed.

"These are all the books about dragons and how defeat, feed, put to sleep, bathe them etc etc" Amelia said picking up a book to start reading.

"Start with it already" Amelia said warningly wide eyed gesturing to the books. Cedric raised his hands in surrender and started reading.

After a few hours Cedric was asleep over a book, while Amelia was making notes of spells for him to use. It was almost five in the evening. Madam Pince left for her evening snacks. Letting out an exasperated sigh Amelia finished her work.

She looked in front of her seeing her boyfriend sleeping like a baby. His mouth parted slightly and strands of his brown hair falling over his eyes. Amelia smiled to herself first in awe then mischeviously.

She slowly got up without making any sound and going near his ears to squeal loudly. As soon as she squealed Cedric screamed wide eyed falling from the chair on her. Amelia hit the ground with her back and Cedric over her. She yelped as the whole weight of the boy was on her.

"Ow get up troll" Amelia said groaning under his weight. Cedric shifted ro face her with a playful angry look.

"Why would you scream in my ear?" He asked from on top of her.

"I dont know, i just felt like doing it" she said innocently looking in his eyes.

"Well then face the consequences" he said with a small smirk. Amelia stared at him, her heart drumimg wildly beneath her chest and she was sure he could feel it.

"What-" she began in a whisper but was cut by Cedric's lips on her. Her breath hitched for second on feeling his soft warm lips against hers until she started kissing back closing her eyes.

Slowly her hands found their way around his neck. Cedric felt shivers run down his spine, when he felt her warm touch against his neck. He stared kissing with more pressure making her moan lowly while in the kiss.

Amelia was the first one to pull away breathless. Cedric rested his forehead on top of hers catching his breath. Amelia's hands were still around his neck and he felt like she was pulling him for another round. His breath fanning on her face and his weight still on her.

"Cedric" She began in a whisper barely audible, slowly opening her eyes, still catching her breath.

She stared in his chocolate brown eyes for who knows how long. Cedric gave her a small smile slowly brushing the hair off her face, making her go crimson red.

Suddenly they heard footsteps and widened their eyes, Amelia pushed Cedric off her in a heartbeat and stood up. Both of then them surprised at her sudden strength. Her heart drumming wildly she sat on the chair, and slowly Cedric got up to sit in front of her in his chair.

Madam Pince came and told them to leave as soon the diner would start, they both left walking together in the corridors silently. It was comfortable silence and none of them felt the need of speaking anything. Both bumping or brushing their shoulders once in a while smiling to themselves.

"Are we going to library tomorrow too?" Cedric started a bit cheekily. Amelia glanced at him giving him the look.

"Shut up" she said shaking her head smiling. Cedric smiled. They reached the gryffindor common room, Amelia stopped at the enterance.

She turned toward him and looked up at the tall boy. She clutched to his collar and pulled him down to give a peck on his lips, and smiled letting it go.

She waved her hand, her back facing him as she went inside the common room, he chuckled and moved on.
