    HALLOWEEN NIGHT . . . THE NIGHT FILLED WITH mischief and possible human sacrifices somewhere in the world, according to Rebekah's words. And to say the least, Hope looked absolutely adorable in her little pink monster costume. Derek had seen at the store earlier that day which led him to buy it for her when they would take her trick-or-treating that night.

Luna was dressed as Boo from Monsters Inc, Rebekah had dressed herself as a vampire which was very cliche of her considering the woman was a thousand year old original. She used real blood down her lips and her actual fangs showing, letting the veins under her eyes show.

And well for Derek, he remained Derek for Halloween, no matter how many times Luna begged him to wear the matching monster costume for Hope he didn't wear it. He didn't even break when Hope said 'Pwease'. Luna just huffed and rolled her eyes knowing they weren't going to win.

"You know, it's nice to actually show my vampire side to the world and no one know that this actually is me?" Rebekah expressed as she climbed out of the car.

Luna chuckled shaking her head following her out of the car. She looked behind her to see Hope asleep from the long night out, a smile came onto her lips knowing the night was successful.

She climbed out of the car making her way to the other side with Derek, her smile widen when she noticed three children approaching them in their cute costumes.

"Trick or treat!"

Luna looked over to see Derek sending the boys a blank look along with Rebekah making her roll her eyes. Derek reached into the car keeping their eyes on them, the children began to back away slightly scared of the man until he pulled out candy.

She sent her fiancé a look before taking the bag out of his hand, placing a candy in each other their bags. Before she could wish them a Happy Halloween, Derek flashed his eyes roaring to the kids while Rebekah hissed flashing her fangs.

Luna gaped at their actions before smacking their arms. "You. Guys. Are. The. Worst."

The two supernaturals bursted into a fit of laughter making Luna trying to hide her smile. "Oh, come on, babe, you have to admit that was funny."

"Oh my, did you see the little pirate run into that car?" Rebekah doubled over laughing.

Luna shook her head with a smile, "Come on. Let's get Hope inside, so we can began our horror movie marathon."

She tossed the bag of candy inside of their car but paused when she smelt an unfamiliar smell, her nose wrinkled in disgust. "What the he—"

Her eyes widened when she turned her head to see three unknown people, one gripped the pack of her head staring deep into her eyes. She tried resisting, her mind focusing on Hope only for her mind to become clear and her body felt ice cold.

     REBEKAH WAS THE FIRST TO WAKE UP AFTER BEING knocked out to darkness, she grunted clutching onto her head. Her eyes shifted to Luna and Derek to see them still passed out, her eyes widened before jumping up to her feet looking through the car to see Hope still asleep. She sighed in relief knowing they hadn't been out for long.

A groan was heard from beside her making her turn her head to see the engaged couple were beginning to wake. "Ow. What the hell happened?"

Luna gasped jumping up to her feet despite the aching feeling behind her ear, her heart relaxed seeing that her daughter was okay. She opened the car door unlocking her daughter from her car seat pulling her into her arms.

Derek kissed his daughter's forehead, just as Rebekah shook her head. "What the hell were those things?"

"I don't know. But we have to get inside before anymore of those come." Derek ordered making the two woman nod.

As the three entered the building, Luna could hear the loud booming deafening music coming from the inside of their loft. Luna and Derek shared a confused look before swinging open the door revealing a bunch of kids partying in the middle of their living room. The black light shining bright of the kids.

"Is that a DJ?" Rebekah gaped at the man standing at the end of the room making Luna's mouth drop.

"Who the hell would do this?" Rebekah shouted over the music. Luna's eyes scanned the room before landing on a couple kids she instantly recognized, "I have a clue."

Despite the loud music, Luna was surprised her daughter didn't wake instead just stirred getting into a better position. She slowly handed over her daughter to Rebekah, "Wait here."

Derek and Luna walked through the crowd of teens, her eyes narrowing at the ones that kept pushing her. Luna walked ahead of Derek until they reached the DJ but before the two could walk up there, the security pushed back Derek.

"Bro, sorry, The Bloody Beetroot doesn't take requests." He informed them.

Luna frowned at the stupid name before shaking her head, she attempted to pass him but the security laid a hand on her shoulder. "Ma'am, seriously. I said the DJ doesn't take—"

His words were cut off by Derek dripping onto his throat, his eyes narrowed down at the security for touching his fiancé. "He'll take ours."

And with that, he threw him to the side.

Luna looked at her man before grinning, "That was sexy."

He sent her a wink before approaching the equipment, he grabbed the edge of the table before flipping it over onto the ground. The crowd gasped turning over to see what stopped the music only for them to see a very angry looking couple.

"Get out!" Derek's voice boomed through the loft causing the teens to immediately discard out of the room.

But that's when Luna had seen it, the darkness that attacked the three of them in the parking lot. All of them moved to face Aiden in sync.

"Guys, they're all looking at me." Aiden panicked making Luna's eyes widen. They all took a step forward making her flinch. "Why are they all looking at me?"

They took another step making Luna growl threateningly, her eyes flashed their vibrant red. She was the first to sprint at one of them, but they quickly flashed away. She frowned in confusion until she was pushed onto the ground.

She huffed instantly jumping to her feet, her eyes flicked to Rebekah who stood protectively in front of Allison and Ethan, while Hope rested in Allison's arm.

Knowing that her daughter was in safe hands Luna took off to stand in front of Aiden only for one of them to slam their hands on her chest causing her to fly into a cement pole. She gasped feeling all of the air being knocked out of her, Ethan's eyes widen running to the hybrid and pulling her behind Rebekah.

Luna shook her head trying to get rid of the blurriness, once they cleared her eyes landed on Aiden's slumped body. The shadowed people had their gaze now on Scott making her heart quicken.

She instantly jumped to her feet but paused when the light began to pour in, making the three of them flow away.

"What the hell were those things?" Scott questioned looking over to the adults in the room. Except this time, the three had no idea what the hell those things were.
