Y/N POV

I opened my teary eyes to a forest, covered in shattered sunlight. It was sunset. I looked around and found a house hidden in the trees. I walked towards it, I needed to tell Stella what was happening. But I stopped in my tracks and looked down at my hands covered in my ink-black tears. I was still in my demon form.

I imagined the form melting off of me, and going back to being a human again. I opened my eyes and saw my h/l h/c hair draping over my shoulders. I smiled faintly at the memories before I stepped into the prophecy. But it didn't feel very natural.

I raced to the house, ready to fall into her arms again. She was my family and I needed her support. I hurried and knocked on her front door. I didn't want to go in unannounced and scare her.

She opened the door and a surprised look came into her eyes. She raced into my arms and squeezed me. "Y/N?!! Where have you been?! I thought you had been kidnapped, you just disappeared!"

She pulled back and looked up at me. I had tears rolling down my cheeks. They were a mixture of sadness and happiness. "What happened?! Who hurt you?" Fury flew into her eyes, "Do I need to kill someone?"

I shook my head and hugged her back. "No one. A lot has happened and I just needed to see you again."

She took me by the hand and led me into the house. I looked around and realized how much I had missed her little cottage. She basically pushed me onto the small couch in the living room. There was a small light green couch against the windows and a fireplace on the opposite side. A mirror and other various decorations lined the mantel.  She looked into my eyes. "Tell me everything. Y--" She paused and gazed at me.

"What?"

She pointed at my eyes, "What's wrong with your eyes? They aren't e/c anymore!" I got up and looked into the mirror hanging on the wall over the fireplace. My eyes were still violet.

"They're fine! It has to do with what has happened these past few weeks."

"Do I need to call the police? They still think that you are missing."

I shook my head at her. "Please don't it will only complicate things." I took in a deep breath. "I'm about to tell you something that is going to rock your world. It is all true. I would never lie about this... please just don't freak out." She nodded her head and stayed quiet.

I sighed, not knowing how to tell her everything. "Okay, here we go." I steadied myself and got the tears to stop so I could explain everything to her. "I am a demon. Well, not a demon, per se, but a Dark Angel. The Dark Angel. This is not my natural form, I am not even human." I paused and looked at her face.

She looked a bit surprised but I don't think she completely believed me. I waved my hands in front of me, "Stop looking at me like I'm crazy." I continued, "I found out a few weeks ago after I moved into the house my estranged aunt gave me. Apparently, a powerful demon had owned that house. He noticed I had powers and we figured out I was the Dark Angel. Then I went to Hell with him." I left out the part about me trying to escape from him in the first place.

"There is a prophecy about me, and I am meant to rule all of Hell." I stopped and looked up at her. "You still think I'm crazy, don't you."

She put on a timid smile, "No... of course not!" She had a fake tone to her voice. I laughed a little and held the bridge of my nose.

"Since you obviously think I'm crazy, and I don't blame you for thinking that, I'll just show you." I debated with myself whether I should show her my full form, but I didn't want to scare her completely. I summoned my wings and opened them slowly. They were extremely cramped in the small room.

I watched her face as it grew increasingly more surprised. Her eyes and mouth were wide open. I heard her whisper under her breath, "What. the. Hell?" I laughed gently and pointed finger guns at her. "Exactly. What the hell."

"O-okay I believe you now. So... this is your other form?"

"Erm, no? I don't want to show it to you yet. I don't need you getting more scared."

"I-I'm not scared at all! You can show me."

I laughed, "I can tell you are lying, but if you are sure, I'll show you." She slowly nodded her head. I closed my eyes, and once again imagined my human form melting off of me. I slowly opened my eyes, unsure of what her reaction would be. I didn't think it could happen, but her eyes and mouth had opened even further. She quickly shut her mouth.

I could see it in her eyes, the way she was afraid of me, but she was trying to hide it. She was squished up against the back of the couch, trying to get further away from me. I felt the tears start coming. "P-please S-Stella. Don't be afraid of me. I d-didn't want this to happen to m-me either."

I dropped to the floor and changed back into my human form. I could feel the panic starting to rise in my chest again. My black tears were dropping onto the wooden floor, creating small pools of ink. I was breathing hard again. "Stella, the prophecy says things that I don't want to happen! I don't know how to handle any of this. I don't want to hurt the people close to me!"

I felt her hands on my shoulders and started singing a small song.

I love you, a bushel and a peck
A bushel and a peck and a hug around the neck

I smiled at the reminder of the song. She had sung it to me when I had panic attacks after my family died.

I heard her whisper, "Sing with me." In my watery voice, I continued singing with her.

A hug around the neck and a barrel and a heap
A barrel and a heap and I'm talkin' in my sleep
About you, about you
'Cause I love you, a bushel and a peck

You bet your purdy neck, I do

I sat there in her arms and remembered when we had lived together. She had helped me through so much. I hugged her, "I missed you so much."

"I'm glad you came back."

I don't know how long we sat in each other's arms, but it made me smile. "I have so much to tell you."

She gave a small laugh, "I bet you do."

I sat at the small kitchen table, starting to tell her stories while she made her famous hot cocoa. "You won't believe what I did."

She looked up from the pot. A huge smile grew across my face. "I killed Jared."

She dropped the spoon she was holding into the chocolate. "No, you didn't." I laughed and nodded. "Oh my gosh, that's amazing y/n!!" She paused and then guiltily added, "Did you make him suffer?"

"You bet I did. And I made sure he can never come back. He is now a speck of dust, floating in the void."

She plucked the spoon out of the melted chocolate and held it up in the air, like a sword. "Revenge, the sweetest of desserts!" She said it in a medieval British accent.

I giggled at her accent. She poured the drinks and started to carry them over to the table. "Wait, I want to show you something else, put the cocoas down really quick." She set them down on the far counter and hummed the lullaby she sang earlier. The vines quickly grabbed the drinks and brought them over to the table.

"How's that for a magic trick?"

"HOLY CRAP Y/N." I giggled at how amazed she was by that little trick. She looked at me, "What else can you do?"

I looked down at the cocoa in front of me. "You don't want to know the rest of it." I quickly changed the subject, I didn't want to dwell on the prophecy anymore. "Anyways, I have made some pretty out-of-the-ordinary friends in Hell. One of them is a spider, and the other is a deer."

"Wait, they really are a spider and a deer? Does Hell turn you into an animal?"

"Not a literal animal, but it is more of a humanoid version. Angel dust, the spider, he is a pornstar, but literally the best human--I mean-- demon being ever. Then the deer one is Alastor. He is the one that owned the house previously and found me there." I chuckled to myself as I remembered how I had kicked one of the most powerful overlords in Hell. Twice.

I looked up from the table and saw Stella smiling at me smugly. Her eyebrows raised. "You didn't tell me you liked this Alastor. I thought that would be the first thing you would say." She shrugged her shoulders.

"E-excuse me? I do not like Alastor."

"I can see it on your face. You are either lying to me, or you are lying to both yourself and me."

I sat there, thinking. I hadn't thought about it in a while. We had both teased each other about it. "I didn't think I did."

We both turned our heads as we heard a knock on the door. She looked at me seriously, "This talk is not over." I heard her open the door and then scream and slam it. I ran towards the door, worried about what happened. She was leaning against the door, pressing herself against it. "Are you alright?! What happened?!"

"Y-your deer friend i-is here. I get what you mean now when you say humanoid animals."

I put my hand to my head, "He probably came looking for me. I'll talk to him then come back in and introduce you two."

She giggled breathlessly, "Please, take your time."

I opened the door and saw Al, silhouetted by the moonlight. Before either of us started talking, I closed the door and walked away from the house. I didn't want to scare Stella about what we might talk about. I stood a few paces away from the side of the house and changed back into my demon form.

As I changed, I realized that I could see slightly better. My white hair fell down around my shoulders as I changed form.  "Sorry for scaring your little friend back there."

I let out a small laugh, "Hi, Al." He bent down and looked at my face.

"Are you okay?" I looked at him, we were face to face. He had a small smile on, but his eyes looked sad.

"I'm fine now."

"Angel told me what happened as soon as you left, but I want to hear what happened internally."

"I didn't really appreciate what the prophecy had to say... Al, it terrified me."

I turned away from him and hung my head. Tears welling up in my eyes. "I don't want to lash out at the people close to me. I don't want to be wicked." Al put a hand on my shoulder.

"The prophecy doesn't have to tell you what to do. You can be the one in control y/n."

I stepped away from his hand, turning back towards him, my back against the tree. His hand drifted down from where my shoulder had previously been. "I don't feel in control. With what happened with Stolas today, I realized how fast this whole situation is going to start moving once I take even more territory. I feel like it is spiraling out of control."

I looked up at him. The forest around us cast shadows on his body. He stayed quiet and continued looking at me. I started talking again, "I don't even know what you want." I gestured to him, "Stolas wanted a deal with me. He is getting something out of being allies with me. You told me you didn't care if I took your territory. What do you want Al? Because I know you don't help people for no reason."

I could feel my brows furrow on my face. He hesitated for a moment but then stepped closer to me.  "you."

I opened my mouth, surprised by what he had said. "What?" I said it quietly, I didn't think I had heard it correctly. He leaned down and put a hand on the tree behind my back, right next to my head.

"I want you, y/n." He leaned in and tilted my chin up with his hand. He placed a small kiss on my lips. It felt warm and comforting. Before I had wanted it to end, he pulled away.

My heart was beating wildly. I looked at his eyes. He had on a small, but nervous smile. His eyes were scanning my face, watching for my reaction. I was surprised when I realized that I had wanted to keep kissing him.

Without a response, I wrapped my hands around his neck and kissed him back. He was a bit surprised by my reaction, but then quickly was enveloped into the kiss. It felt like this was natural, like our bodies were a puzzle that had been put together again. My heart was beating rapidly, but I could feel his doing the same.

I could feel his hesitancy about kissing me back. I could tell he didn't want to scare me off. I pulled away from the kiss and whispered in his ear. "I want you too."

I received a look that I could not interpret and was pulled back into the kiss, making my heart skip a beat. It was passionate, like he needed my kiss to survive.

I was pressed back against the tree, my arms wrapped around his neck. One of his hands held my head and the other held the small of my back. He had effectively trapped me against the tree but I didn't want to escape.

My hands moved through his hair. I heard him groan as I knotted my hands in it and pulled him closer to me. Our lips were one in the same, like a symphony, always moving together as one. He nipped the inside of my lip and I gasped.

We pulled apart from each other, both of us breathing hard. I giggled when I looked at him, never thinking I would have ever seen a breathless-looking Alastor.

He ran a hand through his hair, looking down at me. "My dear," he reached up and gently touched his lips, smiling. "it seems that you have left me speechless."
