Seungmin had always believed Wonpil to be the calm, chill guy.
The one he could go to when feeling worried or lost, and that he could trust completely.

Certainly not the serious and intimidating one who he was accompanying (or better, was forced to accompain) to Mrs. Kim's office.

"You could've shut up, you idiot", whispered Y/n, walking defiantly beside him, clearly annoyed at the automatic reaction the Slytherin had โ€“ rightfully โ€“ had.

"A freaking werewolf was about to ripe our flesh off", he snapped back. "What was I supposed to do? Thank him?"

Y/n rolled her eyes. "Half werewolf".

"It's whatever โ€“ and now we're even going back to that goddamn office", he continued to complain. "As if we haven't stayed there enough".

"Oh, yeah, I should've totally let you go, Kim", commented sarcastically Wonpil, behind them. He was carrying Chan's stunned body through Wingerdium Leviosa, the floating spell Seungmin had used himself the night the first floor had got flooded. And Chan helped, a voice inside his head reminded him.

"So that you would've ran off to your Slyths and spread lies all over the castle, damaging an honest guy's reputation", continued the Head Boy.

Seungmin thought about it for a second: truth be told, Woojin had the right of it โ€“ Chan had never done anything wrong, and being a Werewolf surely had not been his own idea.

Still, knowing that made him feel slightly uncomfortable and a great deal more scared.

"I wouldn't have told all the Slyths", he replied instead, weakly. "Just Minho probably; and maybe also Yeji..."

"Too many still", answered Wonpil coldly. "This was a thing for no one to know".

"How... how did this whole thing happen?" asked hesitantly Y/n, as if afraid of the elder boy's reaction.

"Which thing?" inquired Wonpil. "Wandering unwatched around Hogwarts or becoming a werewolf?"

"The first one", she said quickly. "Although... well, a full explanation wouldn't be bad".

"I second that", agreed Seungmin, who was growing more and more curious.

Wonpil sighed. "Okay then. You probably don't know that, but Chan's parents have a rather important position at the Ministry..."

"Yes, I'm well aware", cut in Seungmin: his parents and Chan's were co-workers.

"Oh, good to know. Then you might remember of that time Chan's dad signed the petition to allow Werewolf-hunting".

Seungmin internally cringed: he did not remember; however, the fact in itself did not sound too promising.

"Anyways, once the Werewolves discovered the existence of the petition, you can well imagine they were not happy", continued Wonpil. Seungmin and Y/n simply nodded. "But rather โ€“ very angry. They seeked revenge, and hurting the children of the men who'd been for the petition seemed a pretty good revenge.

"They found Chan while he was playing Quidditch in the woods near his home. I was to get there a few days after, it was during summer. Chan's parents had not aknowledged how great of a danger could come from all that, sadly. The Werewolves found him undefended, weak and small โ€“ what chances did he have at resisting them?

"Luckily for everyone though, when they'd attacked it'd been daylight, and they weren't transformed โ€“ I mean, they most likely were just as grotesque as they would've been had they been transformed, but it still was not the same thing: it meant that Chan would not become one of them entirely.

"When I got there a few days later, he filled me in with everything: he was being forced to stay in bed, as no one knew what the effects might be. They were all so scared. We could do nothing but wait for the next full moon.

"When it came, I was made to lock myself into an empty bedroom: it was his father and a Healer that dealt with him that night โ€“ but I still can't forget the screams that I heard" Woojin shook his head, reminiscent of the old episodes. "Afterwards, they simply made him follow the precautions normal werewolves take during full-moon: same medicines and parting from the sight of the moon. If he takes these, Chan is mostly able to stay true to himself most of the โ€“ although he can have rage attacks from time to time.

"This month though, it was a disaster! Yesterday night happened that nightmare of a flooding; Chan was so tired he forgot to take all of the antidotes! He realized tonight, and came to me running. I had meant to bring to Mme Kim's unharmed, but he still ended up looking at the moon at some point. And that's basically when we met you".

Seungmin and Y/n stayed quiet for awhile after the Head Boy's speech finished. They simply continued to walk their way towards the dungeons.

The Slytherin suddently felt guilty. If before the only thing he could focus on was food (skipping lunch had turned out to be a terrible idea), now the thought had completely abandoned him. "I... I am truly so sorry Wonpil" he apologized awkwardly. "I shouldn't have said those things... Chan is a super nice guy, he deserves better โ€“ although it was not his fault, obviously. It's never been... It's just โ€“ I'm sorry".

Wonpil smiled faintly. "Thanks Seungmin, it means a lot. And I'm sure it'd mean a lot to Channie too. So", he then continued, his voice tone suddenly more serious, "do I have your word that you shall not tell this to anybody?"

"I swear I won't!", answered immediately Y/n. "Not even to Jisung, or Felix. I'll keep it to myself".

"Same", said Seungmin, thinking about Minho: the friend would've liked to know, he was friends with the Gryffindor. "I'll tell no one".

"Good. Thank you guys".

A few steps after, they reached the teacher's office. Wonpil gently knocked the door. "I hope she's arrived", he murmured so that only the other two Prefects could hear him.

The Head Boy's prayers were heard, anyway, because almost immediately afterwards the door opened. "Who's there?", inquired Mrs. Kim in her usual authoritarian voice.

"Good evening Mrs.", greeted Wonpil. "I've come because there's been a little problem... ahem... Chan forgot โ€“ he forgot to-"

"Take his medicines!", concluded the Potion's teacher for him. She shut the door open and welcomed them all into her office.

"So โ€“ care to explain how on earth he forgot?" she asked as she twirled around her office, grabbing all of the ingredients she needed to make a quick but effective counter-potion. "Chan's usually really mindful. It strikes me as slightly unsual that he simply forgot to take it". She poured a little moonpowder into the cauldron.

"He was just really tired", began Wonpil, and went on to tell her the whole story.

"Poor guy", commented the teacher once Woojin had finished: she was already done brewing the potion and was now placing it carefully into a glass container. "I always say that โ€“ he works too hard!"

"Really", agreed Wonpil.

"Oh, nevermind that now", replied the Potion's master. "With this he should be fine โ€“ but do bring to Mme Pomfrey, he'll need peace and quiet to heal".

"I'll surely do, don't worry", answered the Hufflepuff.

"And โ€“ may I ask you about these two youth?", asked Mrs. Kim, sending the two Prefects a suspicious look mixed with a badly hidden exasperation. 'These two again? Really?", her eyes seemed to be saying. "They know, am I right?"

"Indeed, but it's no problem โ€“ they're friends", assured Wonpil. Seungmin felt pretty flattered, and smiled convincingly.

"Well, if you say so..." concluded the teacher, and let them go at last.

"Well, I think we can call it a day", said Wonpil once they left the office. "You can go to bed now โ€“ or to the kitchens, if hungry".

"Can't we come with you to the nursery?" asked Y/n in disappointment.

"I mean โ€“ if you wish..." it seemed like the Head Boy had never even taken the thought into consideration.

"Perfect then", smiled Seungmin. "We're coming".

The walk towards the nursery felt much more light-hearted: the tension had ceased, Wonpil did not look too stern anymore and Chan was starting to awake, his body shaking funnily in mid-air.

After thirty-ish minutes, the boy was finally completely awoken: Mme Pomfrey had welcomed them immediately, and had given him her best bed. She'd also made sure all the curtains were down, so that the moon could not be seen at all.

Woojin wanted to talk to the friend at once, but the nurse forbade him: she had to give him all of the necessary information about his health first. "You're rather weak, Bang", she stated immediately, warmly yet sharply. "You must rest. You'll be allowed to go on monday morning, to follow your classes".

"Monday?", asked Chan in disbelief. "But I have a match on sunday!"

"Should've thought about it before forgetting your medicines", replied the nurse matter-of-factly: Wonpil shook his head โ€“ girls would never really understand the importance of Quidditch.

"That's a disaster!" complained Chan. "We'll be needing a Keeper! But we don't have a Keeper! I've let the team down, I'm the worst" and he covered his face totally with the white blanket.

"Channie, i swear toโ€“", started Wonpil, but a small, weak voice interrupted him.

Seungmin turned around to meet with Y/n, moving awkwardly: "I... I could play as the Keeper".

(yes, that is Grey Wind lol)
