You hurriedly threw on a dark blue sweater with black pants and ran to the living room to wait for Scaramouche. You felt panic spread within you, this was going to be your first date with him. You've never been on a date before so you were uncertain about what one was like.

After a while, the overthinking began. This only worsened your nervousness. 'What if it gets awkward? What if neither of us know what to say? What if something goes wrong? What if I do something dumb and embarrass myself?' were the only thoughts wandering your mind.

Soon, the doorbell rang which immediately shifted your attention towards the door. "Ah shit, here we go," you murmured to yourself while approaching the doorway. Upon opening the door, you saw Scaramouche. He was wearing the same hoodie and shorts as last time. He had his arms crossed and was staring at you.

"Uh what?" you asked as you looked into his bright indigo eyes which you very much admired. "You look good," he said nonchalantly. Scaramouche being able to say such things so effortlessly was always a mystery to you.

Personally, you could never say something like that without being visibly embarrassed. You responded with a "thank you," and you both left for the car.

"Wait, can you even drive?" you turned to see his face while you two were standing in front of his, or probably Baal's, car. "Only one way to find out," he replied with a teasing smirk. "What? You're joking, right?" you quickly backed away from the car.

"Relax, I'm kidding. Obviously I know how to drive. Do you think Baal would let me take the car if I didn't?" Scaramouche opened the door and sat on the driver's seat, his eyes moved back to you. "Well? Are you coming in or?" He raised a brow. You sighed and nodded, sitting on the seat beside him.

After a long, and fearful (since you still couldn't quite trust Scaramouche's driving skills) ride, you both arrived at the destination. "See, you didn't die. I told you I could drive," he scoffed while getting up from his seat. "Yeah yeah," you rolled your eyes and also got up from your seat. You both then headed towards the Café that Scaramouche had mentioned earlier.

As you approached the Café, your eyes explored the inside of it. It seemed peaceful and awfully pretty. It had pastel yellow walls and the floor was solid oak wood. The ceiling had various elegant chandeliers dangling down. And there were tables strategically placed all around. It wasn't as crowded as you expected, but there were still a decent amount of customers.

You both sat down at a nearby vacant table and Scaramouche left to go get the menus since they weren't already at your table. You grabbed your phone and scrolled through your new messages.

But you were interrupted when you saw someone approaching you from your peripheral vision. You looked up to see who it was and it was an unfamiliar tall, and rather slender, man. He had blonde hair and majestic ocean blue eyes. And he was quite handsome.

"Hello ma'am, I'm sorry to disturb you but have you seen two blonde twins by any chance? They're foreigners and I seem to have lost them" he said, while showing you a picture which you assumed was them.

"Oh, sorry I haven't," you nervously replied, feeling bad that you couldn't be of more help. "Understandable, I hope of you have a good day," he turned around and quickly left before you could respond back.

'That was weird,' you thought. You looked around to see if that man was asking anyone else the same question and it didn't look like he was. And soon, you lost sight of him.

"Who was that?" Scaramouche popped out of nowhere, which slightly startled you. "AH don't scare me like that geez," you composed yourself. "It was just a man looking for someone I guess," you replied, still trying to search for him.

"He left the Café by the way," Scaramouche noticed you were looking for him which right away embarrassed you. "Uh nevermind that, did you get the menus?"

"I did," he sternly stated, sliding one of the menus on the table to you. "Ah great." You both observed the menus and neither of you recognized any of the listed choices. So you both decided to order a drink and a pastry to take the safer route.

By the time the drinks arrived, you both ran out of things to talk about. You searched desperately for a topic that would break this awkwardness. This felt like déjà vu all over again.

"So uh, how did you meet your old friends?" you asked in the effort of making conversation. You were hesitant to ask this question though, since you didn't want to make him uncomfortable.

But being the normal Scaramouche he was, he answered without any hesitancy. "Childe introduced me to them," he replied with his usual poker face.

You simply nodded and looked away. "Are you enjoying yourself?" Scaramouche asked, fiddling with the straw in his drink.

"Mhm" you hummed, taking a sip from yours. "You seem bored," he commented. "I'm not," you felt nervous not knowing how to respond to his random remarks. Over text, you could simply just throw in an emoji with a random ass statement and be done with it. But this was real life, you couldn't avoid answering back so easily.

"I can entertain you," he grinned. "Hey, calm your ass down," you immediately retaliated, hoping no one around you would hear his indecent comments.

"What? Am I embarrassing you?" A familiar sadistic smile appeared on his face. This made you anxious. "Scaramouche, we are in public, please don't gather attention," you requested.

But this had no effect on the navy haired man, for he was only getting started. "Perhaps you desire pleasure to prevent you from being bored," he raised his voice which caught a few people's attention.

You hated the fact that you understood everything he meant.

"Please I beg, stop," you brought your hand to cover your face to hide yourself from the few strangers that were looking at you two. 'If I can't see them, they can't see me'

"Maybe I'll consider it if you beg on your knees," his sadistic grin only widened. "Ohmygod" you felt smaller. The embarrassment was overwhelming you. Not only that, but his comments in general made you flustered.

"Ok you win, stop now" admitting defeat, you decided to give in. "That's punishment for teasing me earlier," he scoffed. "I will find a way to get back at you, don't you fret," you folded your arms, annoyed that you had to admit defeat.

But it came to your relief that the people who had been staring at you two stopped and carried on with what they were doing.

"Hm? I doubt that," he took a sip from his drink.

"Blah blah just kindly don't embarrass me like this ever again," you mumbled.

"No promises," he grinned while taking another sip from the drink.

An exasperated sigh left your mouth as you leaned backwards on your chair.

"What a day."
