You panted as you frantically rushed to the cafeteria. You didn't know what was happening but you had a bad gut feeling. Childe's anonymous message about Scaramouche only added onto your uneasiness.

Once you arrived at the cafeteria, you noticed a crowd of people forming a circle. Pushing your way through, you made it to the middle of the circular formation.

There, you saw Scaramouche and a blonde boy who was fallen onto the ground. 'What the hell is going on?'

"You did that on purpose," Scaramouche yelled at the boy. The mysterious blonde student picked himself off of the ground and glared at Scaramouche. "I told you it was just an accident," he retorted.

"And I told you, you did it in purpose" Scaramouche retaliated. He seemed to be pissed off. "You dumbass," the blonde seemed to be pissed off too. You couldn't make out why they were fighting.

After hearing the blonde's comment on him, Scaramouche snapped. He tried throwing a punch on the unfamiliar student only to have him deflect it right away. This only worsened his anger. "You bitch," Scaramouche growled.

You worried history would repeat itself and Scaramouche would do something he'd regret. So in the attempt of preventing that from happening, you tried interfering.

But before you could, the two started full on fighting. Each landing a punch on the other. One after another. Everyone else just watched, some even were recording it with ridiculous grins on their faces. "Stop!" You tried pulling Scaramouche away but he was much stronger than you so you couldn't do much.

You started to panic after not being able to do anything. You tried looking for Childe and La Signora to help but they weren't anywhere in sight. Perhaps they fled the scene, not wanting to get pulled into another huge fight like in their last school.

Not knowing what else to do, you continued yelling at Scaramouche. "STOP. STOP. STOP." Still, no progress.

All of a sudden, another blonde student arrived. This time, it was a female. She immediately pulled the blonde male away from Scaramouche and succeeded. 'She's strong' you were impressed at how easy she made it look.

"That's enough, Aether," she told the blonde boy. 'Oh so his name is Aether' you noted.

This girl had a nonchalant expression on her face, almost emotionless. You assumed that she was really strong based on how easily she was able to stop this fight.

"Sorry sis, I don't know what came over me," the boy nervously rubbed his neck in guilt.

Moments later, another blonde student came. You immediately recognized him. He was the same man you spoke with in the Café not too long ago. 'He's a student here too??'

"Are you two alright? What happened?" He asked the two blonde students. "Aether got into a fight but it's over now, we are fine," the female spoke.

The blonde man sighed and ruffled Aether's hair, "I told you to be careful here."

"I know, sorry," he helped Aether get up and patted his shoulder. "It's fine, just be more careful next time."

Scaramouche continued glaring at Aether, still angered. You approached him. "What the hell happened?" You asked in a serious tone.

"Don't look at me like I started it. He's the one who tried ridiculing me first," Scaramouche grunted.

"How did he try ridiculing you?"

"He pushed me while I tried looking for a table."

Aether heard his explanation and instantly retaliated. "I didn't push you on purpose sheesh."

"Yes you fucking did," Scaramouche looked like he was ready to throw hands again. "No need to get angry again, what's done is done," you tried turning Scaramouche away from Aether and leaned in on his face.

"Scaramouche, just let it go. You don't want to get a bad reputation in this school too," you whispered, warning him.

"Ugh fine whatever," he tried fixing up his hair that was roughed up because of the fight and composed himself. "Let's go eat now," you suggested, leading him to a table far from Aether.

Awhile later, the blonde female approached you two. She still had the same emotionless face. "Hello, I apologize for my brother's attitude. He hasn't been himself lately, I hope you can forgive him," her attention was fixated on Scaramouche as her apology was directed to him.

"It's fine," Scaramouche grumbled. She then turned to look at you. And soon, a bright smile took over her nonchalant face. "Thank you for trying to stop the fight earlier. I'm Lumine, me and my brother are new here," she cheerfully explained.

The fact that her attitude shifted so much from when she was talking to grumpy Scaramouche to now, made you want to laugh out loud.

"Nice to meet you, Lumine. I'm Y/n and don't mind Scaramouche, he's always grumpy," you snickered, knowing full well that your comment would irritate the little gremlin.

Scaramouche scoffed and rolled his eyes. "Mhm I can tell," she replied.

"Hey do you need a tour around the school, me and Scaramouche would gladly volunteer," you offered. Scaramouche flinched at your sudden words, "what?"

"I'd love that! Thank you once again, I'll let Aether know," she gave you once last bright smile before heading back to her table.

"Y/n, we're not really giving them a tour, right?" Scaramouche asked, worried for having to socialize.

"Yes we are. It's the least we can do since you decided to pick a fight with new students," you grinned.

Scaramouche ruffled his hair in frustration. "Ughhh."
