A while after the battle with the battle, it was time finally time for Team 7 to continue missions. Boruto, Kawaki and I were still shaken up a bit, so Sarada and Mitski decided to handle it alone.

"So, you decided to take a break from the missions, eh?" My mom asked, standing at my door.

"Yeah, I thought it would be good to take a break after...you know." I answered.

"Thats good. You deserve it, you've been working so hard lately. People need breaks some times you know" She said leaning a little more into the room.

"I'm glad you agree! Actually, I think I'm going to check in on Boruto and Kawaki, to see how there hold up, ya know?"

"Mhm, Alright then, have fun" she said with a smile as she walked off.

When I got to Boruto's place, Hinata had told me Boruto was out on some errands. I was kind of disappointed but at least I had Kawaki to hang out with.

"Sorry about my son's absence. If i known you were coming i would have kept him home!" Hinata apologized.

"It's alright! Besides I still have Kawaki, so it won't be all that bad. You don't mind me going down the hall to see him right?" I responded.

"Of course it's fine with me, Boruto won't be back until around dinner time though, you're welcome to stay for dinner." She said.

"Oh, I-"

"Y/n! You're here!" Himawari shouted, cutting me off.

"Hey Hima! How you doing?" I smiled kindly as I kneeled down to her level.

"Great! Daddy got me a Kurama plush!" She held up the fox plush.

" Thats so cute! Hey, maybe some time you can come to my house and we can play!"

" Yay! I can show you all my stuffed animals!"

"Hahaha, okay Himawari, Y/n wants to go hang out with Kawaki, you both can speak later." Hinata told her.

"Awwww okay, see ya later!" She skipped off.

"Kawaki is upstairs in his room. Have fun" she said.

"Thank you!"

I walked up the stairs to Kawaki's room where he was laying on his bed reading a book. His room seemed plain, but it was still nice and neat. He only had a few pieces of furniture since he had just moved in not so long ago.

"Hey, I thought you were coming later" Kawaki said while putting his book down.

"I was, but I decided to come now. I wanted to check up on you and Boruto." I said.

"Oh well he's not here." He responded.

I sighed. "Yeah, im aware. So what do you wanna do?" I asked while jumping on his bed.

"I don't know, and dont jump on my bed, I just made it up." He said while fixing the wrinkles on his bed.

"Sorry" I giggled.

"What about a game of Shinobi Bout? (Basically Uno)" I asked him.

"Why not."He said as I grabbed the deck of cards off of his shelf.

"And..... Shinobi Bout!" I yelled as I placed down my last card.

"What? I want a rematch." He demanded.

"We already had 15 rounds and I won 9 of them. It just proves that im better." I declared.

"Hm!"

"I hope you two are having fun, Y/N, would you like some dinner?" Hinata asked and she poked her head into the room.

"Sure" I responded.

Kawaki and I followed her down stairs and sat at the table next to each other. Hinata had made Yakitori with dipping sauce and corn.

"Wow Mrs. Hinata! This looks delicious!" I praised.

"Thank you, I always try my best when guest come over!" she stated.

After we finished our prayers, we began to eat. "Thank you for the food!" we all said.
