Reader POV

It was finally over. Momoshiki had taken over Boruto's body, but some how Kawaki was able to stop him. We were all injured due to the battle with Isshiki Ōtsutsuki before fighting Momoshiko. Some of us on the brink of death. The Nanadaime had went unconscious after using up all of his chakra. My father was badly weakened. Momoshiki stabbed his Rinnegan, and Kawaki had collapsed due to all the chakra he had used up.

After a while, Lord 7th had began to wake up.

"DAD!" Boruto yelled as the Hokage started to slowly open his eyed.

"Boruto?" Naruto said as Boruto started breaking down in tears.

"Lord 7th! We thought we lost you! You seemed to be in a coma!" I informed as I wiped my tears away, fearing of witnessing the Hokage's death.

I sighed in relief of the thought of losing our Hokage. "Stupid Dad! How dare you worry me like that!" Boruto said while crushing Naruto with a hug.

Kawaki sat up from off the ground and glanced at me. I noticed, giving him small smile before he went back to lay down.

"I see... So Kurama..." My father said while looking at the Nanadaime.

"I thought I would be the one to die." Naruto said to his lifelong friend.

"Im sorry lord Hokage... Im glad this is all over, and that we fortunately made it out alive." I said turning my head towards my father.

"Well, I didn't expect Kurama would still be dead. I never thought it would end up like this. But then again, I'm glad I was able to keep you safe." My father said while getting up from off the ground.

"Sorry to ruin your father daughter moment, but could we talk about this some other time?" Kawaki said while getting up as well.

"After we get home?"

"I suppose he's right, I'm so exhausted." I admitted while stretching my arms out into the air.

"Alright then, Boruto. Can you do it?" My father asked.

"Me?! You mean using my 'Karma'?" Boruto asked in confusion.

"Yes. I can't use my Rinnegan anymore." He replied.

"You may or may not remember, but when Momoshiki took over your body, he kind of stabbed my dad's Rinnegan..." I reminded.

"WHAT?!" He yelled back.

"Don't worry Boruto. Its not your fault. Count ourselves lucky we even survived." My dad stated.

"Master..." Boruto said quietly.

"Listen Boruto, the man us telling you it's okay, now would you hurry up and do it?" Kawaki said butting in.

"Shut up! I just need a moment!" Boruto yelled.

"Loosen up, it should be easier if you just relax." Kawaki said as Boruto gave him a side glare.

"Are you scared that he might come and attack us again?" I asked, noticing his hesitation

He sighed. "...I don't want that to happen again. But I'm not going to lie, I'm not sure I can guarantee that won't happen." Boruto stated while looking down at his hand.

"My Karma is gone for good, thanks to you two and everyone else. I lived to get rid of it but...It turns out that I couldn't do anything by myself and its probably the same for you. But... I'll some how get rid of your Karma, I swear it." Kawaki determinedly stated.

"Kawaki...."

"No rush Boruto, but can we speed this process up a bit?" I asked.

"Okay! Okay!" He exclaimed as the teleportation started.

My father grabbed the Nanadaime and jumped towards the portal. We were finally back home. We landed on top of the Hokage office.

"Finally we are back! I'm beat!" Boruto said while falling back.

"Heh, I am too! And we finally got rid of Kawaki's 'Karma' too. Which means he can live freely now!" I sighed with relief.

"We might have gotten rid of it, but that doesn't mean Isshiki won't come back looking for me." Kawaki stated turning his head towards me.

"You're right about that...but at least now we have time to prepare for that day."  I gave him a warm smile.

"Hmm, Alright then" he replied.

"Are you two done talking, because I'm starving for some thunder burger right now! You two wanna come since we're all like, best friends now?" Boruto said while getting up.

"How can you think of Thunder Burger after all that?? Fine, why not?" I gave in.
