Jodie laughed. "Oh yeah. If I do start falling asleep then I'll spray some water on my face and anyway we have two more hours here so we should enjoy it while it lasts."

"Yeah we should enjoy it while it lasts. Let's rest some more before we start dancing again."

Jodie got to her feet and smoothed down her skirt. "You rest while I go to the bathroom. I'll be back in a bit."

I got to my feet too and said,"I'm going to get some water since I don't want to fall asleep in the chair and look like an idiot. I'll see you later then."

"Yeah. Eek! I hope I don't see Bloody Mary in the bathroom or I'm a goner. Anyway, I'll be right back," said Jodie as she started heading toward the bathroom.

I stretched some more and again started pushing my way through the crowd. I stopped in my tracks and strained my eyes since I swear I think I spotted Matt's bloody blond hair disappearing behind the curtains of the stage where the DJ was set.

I frowned for a seconds since I just realized that I haven't seen them for an hour now and I wondered what they were up too. 

Suddenly, for some reason the crowd started backing away and since I didn't want to be squashed like a bug I backed away and went to the drinks' section.

I glanced back at the crowd who immediately started cheering and screaming. I cocked my head to the side to hear the song they were excited about.

The minute I heard the small piano bit and the sudden noise of playing guitars. I was sure the song was Nightmare by Avenged Sevenfold. I was more sure it was them when I heard M. Shadow's voice scream,"NIGHTMARE!! Now your nightmare comes to life."

"Cool song. I always did like Avenged Sevenfold's type of style. Too bad the drummer died since he was a heck of a drummer," said someone behind me. 

I jumped and turned around to find someone dressed in a long, dark robe that had covered his head with it's hoodie. That was mostly what I could see since the thing almost made him invisible in the darkness.

I struggled for a moment before responding and then undecidedly said,"Yeah. Yeah, Avenged Sevenfold can really do some impressive music...and they are really good in playing the guitar and drums."

He's white teeth flashed in the darkness which settled into an eerie smile. I stared a couple of seconds before looking away.

"So, what's your name?," I asked. Ughh. Small talk. Great. Should I leave...or would that be too rude...

I was able to catch a glimpse of his eyes under his hood and they were green with tints of gray. For some reason they seemed kinda lost like my question got him confused and off-guard.

"Oh. Uh, my name is...Jayk. Yeah and I'm a Senior here. What about you," he asked uncomfortably.

I frowned, but shrugged it off. Even though his costume was kinda making me edgy for whatever reason that was the guy seemed harmless so what the heck. It couldn't hurt to chat with him for a few seconds. Right? There is no reason to fear this guy even though we were quite faraway from the crowd and we were in the back... Oh...

I looked up blankly at him as he called my name and then I remembered that he asked me a question.

"Oh! Um, I'm a junior here and I'm here with a couple of friends," I said.

Now he seemed nervous and worried. "Your friends are here? Where?" He glanced behind me and looked around. 

I frowned again and said," They're somewhere. I don't know where though. Is something wrong?"

"No! No, I was just curious. Oh, hey you seem kinda thirsty. Do you want some water?," he asked and pointed to the water bottles.

I was very confused by his actions, but I accepted the water. He handed me the bottle and took another glance around us.

I swallowed uncomfortably and twisted the cap. I stared at him for a few seconds and then I hesitantly took a few swallows. Slowly, the water got in my mouth and I softly shivered at it's cold touch against my greedy tongue.

As I finished half the bottle and settled it down on the table my vision started getting blurry and my head started spinning going in 360s and frantic circles. I shakily pressed a hand on my head and started swaying forward in exhaustion. Jayk caught me by my waist as I fell forward in his arms.

My numb fingers grabbed and pulled at his robe as I tried to keep my eyes open. "What... What is this? What you doing to mee?," I whispered. Half the words came out of my mouth and they came out slurred.

Jayk quickly looked around and quietly dragged me farther away from everyone, deeper into the darkness. Away from everyone... The music started getting muffled and the voices of cheering and chatting people started getting softer...

I started getting frantic and my hands tried again to hit him and pull at his clothes. Suddenly, I heard a rip and Jayk's hoodie fell off, revealing his face.

I first noticed the burn marks on either side on his face and quickly realized that he didn't go to this school or I would have noticed someone having burns like that.

He also had blonde, shaggy hair with a masculine face to go with it. I memorized every detail because I would seem to need this later on. If someone will be able to rescue me though...

The last thing I remembered was Jayk's triumph smile above me as he dragged me away from everyone and Andy singing in the background to his song Perfect Weapon...

Awake at night you focus,

 Then lights started flashing here and there... The World spun and spun very silently under me and then everything went black...

Were you expecting that? To be honest I had all of this planned ahead. The thing about stories is that we know the beginning and end, but we don't know the middle. We have to fill that in and try to bring the scenes in our head into words. Kinda hard, but not impossibly. What I mean is this was something I already planned, but still unknown of where it was going to go in.

Oh and I'm thinking the new title for my new story will be called "Humanoid." Any gueses of what it is about? I'm still working on it. Kinda... Tell me what you think? Pleaseeee? With a cherry on top!! lol
