The lights from the concert hall still glimmered outside as the YouTubers, the Sturniolo triplets, wrapped up another successful show. Their fame had skyrocketed over the past year, and the tour was nonstop. Everywhere they went, fans screamed their names, wanting selfies, autographs, and even just a glimpse of them.

Y/N was used to it by now. She had been dating Matt for a while, long before all the YouTube fame came their way. But being on tour with him—watching him interact with thousands of adoring fans—wasn't as easy as she had hoped.

The excitement of the day had started to wear off for Y/N. She was tired, but the one thing that had been bothering her more than usual was the constant attention Matt was getting from the girls. She trusted him—she really did—but today, something felt different. A group of fans had been all over him since the concert ended. Some of them had made it pretty obvious that they were flirting. There was one girl in particular who kept giggling at everything Matt said, hanging on his every word as if he was the only person in the room. And then there was another who was a little too close for comfort, laughing at jokes that weren't even funny, touching his arm a little too often for Y/N's liking.

Y/N couldn't help but feel the familiar knot of jealousy in her stomach. It wasn't just the girls; it was the feeling of being overshadowed, of being just another face in the crowd. Matt had always been hers, and she had always been his. But these girls... they were all fighting for his attention, and it was starting to hurt.

"Matt, you ready to head up?" Nick called, his voice cutting through the noise of the lobby.

Y/N glanced over and saw Matt, standing in the middle of a group of fans, laughing and chatting away like it was just another normal day. She couldn't help the way it made her feel. She took a deep breath, forcing herself to smile before walking away toward the elevators. She wasn't mad at Matt. She knew he was just being polite. But it didn't make it hurt any less.

Later that night, Y/N found herself pacing back and forth in the hotel room she had been staying in alone. The triplets' room was next door, and she could hear them laughing and chatting through the thin walls. She had tried to push the feeling of jealousy aside, but it kept gnawing at her. Maybe I'm just being silly, she thought. It's not like he's going anywhere.

But it didn't help. Y/N picked up her phone and texted Nick:

Y/N: I'm going to stay in my room tonight. I need some space.

She didn't wait for a reply. She couldn't. The thoughts were spiraling, and she needed a moment to just breathe.

The quiet of her hotel room didn't help as much as she had hoped. She sat down on the bed, scrolling aimlessly through her phone, trying to distract herself from everything. But the more she thought about it, the worse it got. The anxiety she felt about being overshadowed, about the other girls, was slowly becoming more than just a passing feeling. It was building into something bigger.

It wasn't until she got a message from Nick that she snapped out of her spiral.

Nick: Y/N, Matt's freaking out. He thought you were mad at him. He's having an anxiety attack. Can you please come to his room? He thinks you might leave him.

Y/N's heart dropped. She quickly jumped out of bed, throwing on her hoodie and rushing down the hall to Matt's room. As she knocked softly on the door, she heard Nick's voice calling for her to come in. The door creaked open, and Y/N stepped inside.

"Nick," she whispered, her voice filled with concern. "What happened?"

Nick's face was full of worry. "He's not doing well. He's been asking if you're mad at him all day. He's been saying he's scared you might leave him... It's bad, Y/N. He's having an anxiety attack."

Y/N felt a weight settle in her chest as she heard the worry in Nick's voice. She had no idea Matt was struggling like this. Without another word, she hurried into the room. She found Matt sitting on the edge of his bed, his hands gripping the sides of his legs, his breathing erratic.

"Matt?" Y/N's voice was soft as she approached him.

He looked up at her with wide, panicked eyes. "I messed up, didn't I?" he whispered, his voice shaking. "I saw you walk away, and I thought... maybe I did something wrong. Maybe you're upset with me. Maybe you're going to leave me."

Y/N's chest tightened. She immediately knelt in front of him, her hands reaching for his. "No, Matt. I'm not mad at you," she said urgently, trying to calm him. "I was just... feeling a little jealous, okay? I saw how those girls were flirting with you, and I got insecure. I didn't know how to handle it."

Matt's face softened, but the anxiety was still there. "I'm so sorry, Y/N. I didn't want you to feel that way. You're the only one I want. It's always been you."

Y/N felt the guilt wash over her. She never meant for him to feel this way. "I know, Matt. I trust you. I just... I was so upset today. But it wasn't because of you. It was because of me, okay?"

Matt's eyes filled with tears, and he pulled her closer. "I don't want to lose you, Y/N. I love you so much. Please don't leave me."

Y/N wiped the tears from his face, pulling him into a tight hug. "I'm not going anywhere, Matt. I promise. I love you too much."

Matt buried his face in her shoulder, his breath still shaky. Y/N held him close, rubbing his back, letting him know she was there for him. "You're everything to me, Matt. I was being silly. I should've talked to you about it instead of pulling away."

They sat in silence for a while, just holding each other. Y/N could feel the tension leaving Matt's body as he slowly relaxed in her arms. After a few minutes, he looked up at her, his eyes still red from crying. "I never want you to feel like I'd choose anyone over you," he whispered, his voice full of sincerity.

Y/N smiled softly, brushing his hair out of his face. "You don't have to worry about that. It's always been you. Always will be."

She kissed the top of his head gently, pulling him back into her arms. "I love you, Matt. Don't ever forget that."

Matt let out a small, contented sigh as he nestled into her. "I love you too."

The next morning, the sun was just starting to rise, and the soft light filtered through the blinds of Matt's hotel room. Y/N woke up to find Matt still holding onto her tightly, his face calm and peaceful for the first time since yesterday.

Y/N smiled, brushing a strand of hair from his face. "We're okay, right?" she whispered.

Matt opened his eyes slowly and smiled. "We're more than okay. You're my everything."

Y/N felt her heart swell as she kissed him softly on the lips. "And I'm not going anywhere. Not now, not ever."

They lay there in each other's arms, the outside world forgotten for a while. No matter what the world threw their way, they knew they'd always have each other.
