"Do it Camellia" he ordered

"I-I-I can't please just let it go this time I swear I'll do the daily trainings" I pleaded

"I DON'T LIKE TO REPEAT MYSLEF" He shouted punched me square in the face

"p-please sir I swear-" And there goes another punch

"EITHER YOU KILL THIS ONE OR THAT ADRIANO BOY IS GONE" He said pointing to the bleeding figure right in front of me who I was ordered to kill

"CAMELLIA DON'T KILL HIM HE'S INNCOCENT IT WAS MY IDEA TO GO SNEAK FOOD AT NIGHT" James shouted

"SHUT UP ASSHOLE" He yelled at Adriano

"1--2--" he started counting

"CAMELLIA" James yelled

" please- please don' t kill me I beg your pardon. I have a daughter your age please " The guy I was ordered to kill said

"But-"

"Either you do it peacefully or I will kill Adriano myself" he said

"3---4"

"5"

And that was it. The trigger was pulled. My first kill. I killed an innocent in order to save my bestfriend

" Ellie no" Adriano whispered as he hugged me tight

"I can take a bullet for you and this was just a kill" I said softly in his ear and was pulled off harshly by him

"Good job camellia your work here is done. You are slowly becoming the best we have here" He said grabbing my hair and throwing me in a room which had just me and Adriano.

My eyes shot open and I woke up all sweaty with jolting pain my abdomen as I realized it was just a dream, Looking here and there I was confused for a bit in the unfamiliar surroundings but then all the events of dinner came sizzling back.

I checked the Alarm Clock and it was currently half past 4 in the morning, I tried sleeping for a while again but failed miserably and after I splashed cold water onto my face 2 times. I was fully awake.

I went to sit beside the bay window and saw Hades run into the backyard all free and furry. That is one thing I like about wolves. They are free as a fly and fierce as a blast of hate from hell.

I felt that same overwhelming burden on my chest as my subconscious mind fought about what I did yesterday was right or not.

On one hand I feel that whatever I did was right but then there is a part of me which feels that Ace was just trying to take care of me.

I need some air

I skipped downstairs trailing my way towards the garden edges which led me to the backyard where I saw Hades still trying to catch butterflies

"Hello Hades" I said smothering his soft fur as he licked me in a way to show affection

He went back to catching butterflies as I sat on the grass and thought of yesterday

Can't get these thoughts out my head

"I can see you Caspian" I said without looking back

"How did you know it was me?" Caspian asked coming out of the big bush he was hiding behind

"Call it it my 6th sense" I smiled as he sat on the grass beside me

"What are you doing up so early" I asked out of curiosity 

"I could ask you the same question" He backfired as I let  out a low chuckle

"I am a morning person, I guess" I shrugged in response

"Same" He said laying on his back at the support of the grass as we both sat in a comforting silence and after some long time, It felt nice.

"Hey Caspian" I said out of the blue as he hummed in response

"Can I ask you a question?" I asked, my face now facing towards his

"Go ahead" I nodded

"I- I am puzzled, I am perplexed, there are things which are bothering me, thoughts I can not get out of my head, I feel like a living bubble" I ranted as he shushed me 

"If this is about yesterday. Then you did the right thing" He assured

"Did I?" I asked again

"Yes. He is Ace and the only 2 things he believe in life is- Independency and pride, and both of them never come alone. If you are independent, pride follows, and he saw it in you. An independent woman, who can kill people with her looks. Who is the living definition of fierce. He likes that lot of the population and Camellia my sister, you are that lot. You are a girl with stars in your eyes, storm in your heart, wolves beneath your skin and a ruthless, fierce soul, and the time when you said that you bow to no man, Ace was a hundred percent sure that you are his sister. " He explained as I sat in silence processing what he meant

"Ever wondered why do we have a wolf at our house?" He asked me as I thought of an answer and then it hit me.

"Because they are creatures who are filled with pride, They endure quietly, They suffer silently, They wait patiently and when the time comes, they attack fiercely " I answered realizing what he meant by Ace's liking

"Exactly. Ace loves Wolves, and from your answer I am guessing that you love them too." He smiled "He loves the wolf personality. They are extremely close to their family and loved ones but they are also territorial and what you guys call them- Badass" He said chuckling at his statement

"What about Edgar?" I asked about the hottest-head of my brothers

"He was just protecting Ace. After Mom and Dad's death, Ace was the one who carried the entire business and the family on his back, and he was just 19 at that time. Edgar looks forward to Ace as his role model, and if you disrespect him from any form, Edgar doesn't even thinks twice or if you are his sister or anyone. His wrath is the coldest of us all." Caspian recited calmly. He is the calmest of us all.

"You sure what I did was right?" I asked confirming once again

"A hundred percent, and I am damn sure you have your own respect in Ace' heart now. He knows that you are grown up and have your own opinions, and he will never try to cross them again." he smiled as he stood up

"I would like to take my leave now, Don't be stressed, take deep breaths in and out. What you said last night was absolutely agreeable. Just enjoy your time here" He offered a kind smile, petted Hades's head and went in the direction of the house.

I watched as the sun blooms over the horizon the golden petals stretching ever outwards into the rich blue. It is the brilliant flower of the sky that warms our days and in less than a moment I was cast in crimson, bathed in a rosy glow; how the sun gave each dawn without even the asking or the earning of the light. I moved my fingers through the air that grew brighter with each passing moment until it becomes a new bold day.

New day, New life.

Rise and shine Camellia.

Leaving Hades outside I thought of going back to my room and before I could execute my plan, I saw most of my so- called brothers sitting on the second floor dining table and eating their heavy breakfast.

After deciding to ignore the lot, I turned to walk towards my room but was stopped short by, probably Elijah or Edgar. They are so hard to distinguish.

"Good Morning Camellia, come and have breakfast" 

Elijah. Def Elijah.

"No thankyou I'll pass" I said smiling gratefully

"Camellia, Have a seat" Ace said as I huffed in response and went to eat with them.

"Good Morning sleeping beauty" Santiago said as Edgar entered the room his face all puffy and stuffed 

"Fuck off" He muttered so softly that only a few of us could hear him taking a seat beside his twin

No one spoke for another fifteen minutes until Ace was done eating and cleared his throat, so now everyone's attention was on him

"Camellia, You will go to shopping with the rest of your brothers because you don't have anymore clothing and school supplies" He announced

"Wasn't I here for just a month?" I asked in a monotone voice

"Doesn't matter" He said as I nodded and finished my breakfast and decided to proceed my plan of going to my room to take a shower.

"and" Ace stopped me for like the tenth time this morning "I am sorry for last night's incident, my intention was not to disrespect anyone's opinion, It won't happen again" He said still keeping his poker face on but I could feel a little amount of guilt in his words

"It's alright. You are forgiven" I said taking a deep breath as I shoved him a glance and he nodded looking  at Edgar

"What?" Edgar said irritated "I am not apologizing to some brat" He rolled his eyes on me

"Edgar Dakota Durazzo, Remember the talk we had last night?" Dominic piped in

"God" I huffed " Just forget it. Forget it I don't need apologies, You guys know what it's 7am for lord's sake, don't fight. Just forget anything happened last night. Keep living and let me live in peace. My head is throbbing at the moment can I please got to my room I really need a shower" I said ending my rant

"I am sorry" Edgar said quietly but everyone could hear it because of the silence in the room

"Accepted. Now live and let live" I said as I rushed to my room and this time no one stopped me.
