You looked up to see who it was.

It was a tall man with black hair and blue eyes. he wore a business suit and a pair of rectangular glasses. He looked to be in his late twenties to early thirties, and was rather attractive. "I didn't mean to shove you over like that." He offered you his hand. You took it and he pulled you to your feet. "You're not hurt are you?" You awkwardly shook your head. "No, i'm sorry sir." He chuckled lightly. "No need to apologize, it happens." You glanced around you. Something in the crowd to your right stood out to you. A man with white hair was staring you down. Despite his hair color, he couldn't be older than twenty. The businessman followed your gaze, raising a brow. "Is there something wrong?" You shook your head. "No.. sorry." He furrowed his eye brows. "Are you sure? You look a tad pale." The man in the crowd stared you down, a strange look in his dull grey eyes. He wore purple sweatshirt and black pants, his skin was slightly too pale. The look he had was strange, he seemed to be mouthing something to you. You shook your head as you focused on the businessman again.

"Nothing?"

You didn't sound sure of yourself. You wondered if the business man could see the man, given the look on his face. He looked back at you. "Oh my, you seem incredibly pale." You tuned him out as your world started spinning. You stumbled backwards, the man barely being able to prevent you from tumbling to the floor by grabbing your wrist. A few people gave the two of you looks, but nobody seemed concerned enough to ask for your well being. The business man pulled you back to your feet. Looking to your side, the man was now gone, leaving you confused and panicked. You leaned on the man, who adjusted his glasses. "What's your name?" He asked in a soothing tone, hoping the calm you down. "Y/n," you stated. "What a beautiful name, i'm Thomas."  He tilted his head lightly, giving you a sympathetic look. "Do you want to outside for some fresh air?" You couldn't think straight, and nodded. The man wrapped his arm around your waist, guiding you outside.

The fresh, cool air helped ease your headache, and you finally let go of Thomas. "Sorry for all that," you apologized. He only chuckled. "It's quite alright. I'm glad i was able to help you, in any way." Your little conversation was cut short by a shout.

"Y/n, there you are!"

It was Lukas, he speed-walked up to you with the book under his arm. He gave you and Thomas a confused look. "You two know each other?" Thomas awkwardly chuckled. "No, i was simply helping this young lady outside, she wasn't doing well." Lukas gently took your shoulders, tugging you to his side. "Thank you sir," he stated, his voice sounding distant. "I'll take it from here." The man didn't protest, only showing a kind smile. "Here, should you need anything." He took a business card out of his suit, handing it to you. You thanked him as you took the black-lilac card. Lukas took your hand, guiding you away from Thomas, who simply waved, going his own way.

"What was all that about?" You pursed your lips, wondering whether or not you should tell him. "Y/n, come on," he pleaded. "I saw crashed into Thomas, when he helped me up i saw this weird man in the crowd." He raised his brow. "Strange man?" You nodded. "He wasn't older than twenty, had white hair, grey eyes, and was mouthing to me. He was really pale too." Lukas looked concerned. "And then i felt dizzy."

"You reckon the book had anything to do with it?"

You shrugged. "No idea, i hope not." The sky was getting dark, and you furrowed your eye brows. You remembered it being noon only an hour ago. That must be why Lukas behaved so weirdly.

The way back to your apartment was silent, both lost in your own thought.

You hoped you could figure out an answer soon, but the image of that man mouthing didn't leave your mind.

You did not understand what he was trying to tell you.
