Shala kai Lynsur - Love and Shadow

Love comes in many forms. From a Romance or erotic love of the love of a grandmother that's never really understood until years after she's gone; it includes love for a friend, love for nature, love of food and fellowship, love of the wild, ἀγάπη: the love of God, love for God; adoration and adulation. If God is love, then so is mankind, for we are all of us a piece of God.
Shadow is evidenced in the duality of humanity. Just as the light of the divine is in each of us, so we are all also marked by shadows. Nothing exists in a vacuum. All are met with sorrow, disappointment, heartache, and losses of all kinds. We have all sinned and been sinned against. The shadow is darker for some that others, just the light is greater or lesser.
Love and shadow, light and dark: we are Seth, the third son of Adam and Eve, the one between - neither good nor evil, but somewhere in the spectrum of grey, between the darkness and the light, the love and the shadow.
