Dash Kazuto, a young merc who travels around and makes some profit from doing work time to time, after travelling around for a while, he decided to head home, his home under the plate of Sector 7, deciding to crash at an old friend's place to relax. However, during his stay there, he encounters Tifa, bar owner of Seventh Haven, decides to have someone else hire him to do a mission for a group called Avalanche to take down a few Mako Reactors, which confused the boy at first, but decides against it, thinking a job is a job, and he needs money anyway. He also meets a group of five people also working with them, though he feels ridiculed when they berate him sometimes, well one of them anyway. But what seemed like a simple job soon turns into something bigger than what Dash could have ever imagined before in his life, something... that makes him question what's going on in this world.... And what lies ahead for him and everyone he cares about.
