Clan full of amazing and strong Warriors, made a name for yourself in Remnant, stopped a Threat that would have destroyed Vale, and became the Headmaster of an Academy.

Meredith: You've exceeded our expectations and for that, we are proud of you. A shame your Grandparents couldn't see what you've become, they would have also been proud of you.

Jaune: Thank you, both of you. At least you two had the galls to congratulate me on my success. Unlike certain People in this Room.

He says as Jaune gave his Father the stink eye.

Johnathan: Is there something you want to say, Boy?

Jaune: Not much. It's just that my Family still hasn't congratulated me or are proud of what I have accomplished. It's like they don't want me to take this Path anymore and forego everything I have done and achieved to live a normal and boring Life.

Johnathan: You-

Meredith: Jaune, please don't start a fight. We're in a Family Gathering, there is no time for such matters. Even if our Younger Brother and his Wife are too stubborn to realize his faults.

Angela: Meredith!!

Meredith: What? I'm only speaking the truth.

Johnathan: What? You want us to say we're sorry for what we did when Jaune disobeyed our orders and went off on his own to become a Huntsmen, when we told him he is not fit to be one!

His yelling now attracted the attention of everyone in the Mansion, that includes Ozpin and his Inner Circle.

Jacob: You're right, he is not fit to be a Huntsmen. But something greater, a Ninja, or whatever it is you call yourself, Jaune.

Jaune: Assassin is the right title. But Ninja is fine.

When Jaune said "Assassin", that made his Family absolutely worried, fearful of what kind of situations Jaune has gotten himself into.

Angela: Assassin?!

Jaune: It's not that big of a deal, most of our Operations are stealth-based. That's why we earned the title, Assassins.

Angela: But isn't that kind of Job dangerous?! You could get killed!!

Jaune: So is being a Huntsmen. We live in a World filled with Grimm, Bandits, Criminals, and other Threats that can come out at any moment. This World is already dangerous to begin with. Knowing how to defend yourself is a means to survive here.

Johnathan: And? We were only doing what's best to protect you.

Jacob: You had the right mindset. But you kept babying him, treating him like fragile glass, when Jaune can handle himself.

Johnathan: Be quiet, Jacob. Jaune is my Son, not yours.

Jaune: Well he's a better Father than you have ever been, considering he supported me since the beginning and helped trained me alongside Aunt Meredith, whereas you and the rest of the Family kept doing everything in your Power to stop it.

What he said made Johnathan furious as he glares at Jaune.

Johnathan: There it is, that same attitude you said when you came back Home after you left Beacon. You think you're so high and mighty just because you have a so called Clan now and made a name for yourself. When for a fact, you never appreciated all the things we have given you, all the love we showed you. It's like you ignored all of it. So stop acting so childish and grow up.

Jacob: Again with this, Little Brother. Spouting all of the things you have "done" for Jaune to make yourself look good. Yes, you have done a lot for Jaune, but it's all thrown away when you treated him like a Caged Animal, not even supporting him in his Goals, his Dreams, when it's a Parent's Job to do so, and we know the reason why.

Johnathan: Do you have a problem with me, Jacob? Cause this is our business not yours. So back off.

Jacob: I do, and Jaune here is going to learn the truth.

Meredith: Jacob, are you sure about this?

Jacob: Yes, it's been too long, and Jaune needs to know about this.

Hearing what his Uncle and Aunt are saying, Jaune wonders what exactly they are talking about. While the rest of Clan Arc, who know about this, are getting worried a fight may break out, with Angela calming down an angry Johnathan.

Jacob: The truth is, besides your Mother and Sisters being overprotective of you, seeing you as nothing more than Fragile and Weak, your Father had a more nefarious reason.

Jaune: And what reason is that?

Johnathan was about to stop this but was restrained by both Adam and Roman, using their Telekinesis to lift him up in the air, as Cinder gave the Man a smirk. All that Johnathan can do was glare at them, they will only let him down once he has calmed himself.

Jacob: You're Father when he was your age was weak, he couldn't get strong and always fell short compared to everyone else, even when he was a Kid he couldn't catch up to us. But, he was able to become strong like what you see today, problem is, he was able to reach that Level when he was already older. Too old for his tastes.

Meredith: That is why when your Sisters were born, your Father ensured none of them became Huntsmen. He didn't want to see his own Children reach a Level he couldn't achieve when he was young.

Jacob: And the moment you wanted to be a Huntsman, he refused to allow you to be strong. He wanted to make sure you forget about this dream and sabotaged any means of training you, even when we and your Grandparents were the ones doing it. He was jealous, envious, and fearful that you will outshine him like we did when we were Kids. He wanted not a single Member of his Family surpass him, cause he wanted to make himself look good to not be overshadowed by the rest of the Clan. That is the reason why you couldn't pursue your dream, because of your Father's childish jealously.

Once Jacob is done speaking, Jaune took in what he said, taking a deep breath as he turns to his Father, who was let down by Roman and Adam, then speaks to him.

Jaune: I heard many reasons why Families refuse to allow their Children to not be a Huntsmen or any Profession that involves death. But hearing this, hearing the real reason why you didn't want, no, refused to train me. Is nothing short of pathetic, vile, andcruel, what you did is nothing short of Disgraceful, and you should be ashamed of yourself, Father!!

That did it for Johnathan, not only did his Older Brother and Sister revealed his true intentions to Jaune, but now the entire Clan knows. Johnathan sees many of the Arcs and their Friends giving him disgusted looks, his actions are nothing short of petty in many of their eyes and shouldn't even be a thing. This is their Life and not his Life, he does not have a right to do this.

So....in his anger, Johnathan rushes over to Jacob and Jaune. Adam and Roman were about to stop him, but Cinder stops them, knowing Jaune can handle Johnathan, the two Arcs see Johnathan about to throw a punch at either of them, and Jacob was way ahead of him.

Jacob: Oh no you don't!!

He took action and does a split as Jacob delivers a nut shot right for Johnathan's crotch, causing him to stop his advance, as it pushes him back a few feet, Johnathan holding his crotch in pain.

On the otherhand, Meredith can only pinch the bridge of her nose in annoyance.

Meredith: Of all the moves, he went with that. Idiot.

She rushes over to her Nephew and Brothers, hopefully to stop a fight from happening as Meredith pushes Johnathan back from Jacob and Jaune.

Meredith: Alright, alright, my Dumbshit Siblings. If you want to not cause any more trouble, why don't we settle this the old fashioned way. A test of Power and Might.

Everyone in Clan Arc looked at Meredith in shock, not expecting her to settle this feud in that sort of manner, even Jacob is shocked by this.

Jacob: Meredith, are you sure about this.

Meredith: Yes, and I believe you know what I'm talking about, right Jaune?

She looks over to Jaune, as he knew what she was talking about, Jaune glancing over to Cinder, who is unsure if he should do this. But even if he chooses to do it, she will support him through it all.

Jaune: I do.

Meredith: Then say the words.

He nods and looks over to his Father with a determined expression, a fire present in his eyes.

Jaune: Johnathan Arc, I challenge you to an Arc Duel!!

Arc Family Compound: Courtyard

Everyone in the Arc Family Compound has now gathered in the Courtyard where the Arc Duel will take place, a Duel that has never been done in many years, with the only recorded date was the time Jaune's Grandparents were still young, when a dispute between two Brothers occurred, and after that, an Arc Duel never happened until today.

Many of the Guests along with that of Clan Arc, have looks of worry, curiosity, and confident expressions, knowing how this fight will turn out, many of them rooting for Jaune after the revelation they just heard earlier. Then there are those that believe Jaune won't win against his Father, and will lose badly, given he is facing against a Veteran Huntsman, we already know who is thinking of this.

Then there is Jacob and Meredith, who know Jaune is a for sure win here, they're just worried on how he will fight his Father, and what Johnathan will do if he loses. They are standing alongside the rest of Jaune's Clan, his Family, and unfortunately, Ozpin and his Inner Circle. But they are there so Jacob can keep an eye on them.

Angela: Seriously, Meredith. How could you allow this?! Jaune could be killed!!

Even till now, Meredith can only sigh as Angela still has no faith on her Son, and his Abilities. She knows that's her Baby Boy, but she can't keep doing this any longer. Jaune is a grown up now, and not a Kid.

Meredith: Still don't have faith in your Son, Angela? You know this is one of the reasons why he is distancing himself from all of you.

Angela: He doesn't understand that we're doing what's best for him!!

Meredith: Your best, is controlling his Life. A Life you wanted him to have, making all the choices for him. Because here's the thing, Jaune can make his own decisions now, and you need to respect that. He's not a Child anymore. So please, do the wise thing and don't make any more mistakes that will force Jaune to hate you even more, because if you slip up, you will lose him forever, and this.

As Meredith points over to the Courtyard.

Meredith: Is an example of that.

Cinder overheard their conversation and couldn't help but agree with what Meredith said. If Jaune's Parents continue to control his Life, make it the Life they want him to have, not listening to Jaune's choices, it will only lead to Jaune further distancing himself from them. To the point he will never associate himself with his Family, nor see them as one. She can only sigh, even after the many mistakes they committed, Jaune's Family never learned from it, and are now paying the price.

Cinder: 'I'm afraid the only time they'll see the error of their ways is when they lose Jaune forever. It's always that one final moment when you lose someone, you regret your actions, never having a chance to regret it before this happens. A shame really'

Mercury: Looks like Jaune is heading out of the Courtyard, and the same goes for his Pops.

Roman: Oh, boy. This will be fun.

Watts: Indeed. This will be a slaughter.

She looks over to where Mercury is pointing at, seeing Johnathan coming out of the Courtyard donning Armor resembling that of a Knight and armed with Crocea Mors. As for Jaune, he wears blue Ninja Garbs that is armed with Silver Armor on his Shoulders, then a Shuriken-like Armor Piece on his arm, Bracers, Belts that have Kunais strapped on to it, along with a Helmet and a blue Mask.

Once Jacob sees the two are in position, he heads on over to the Podium by the Courtyard, serving as the Referee of this Duel to make sure they play by its Rules. But, Jacob also glanced at Jaune as Jaune gave him a nod, remembering what he told him earlier before he went off to the Courtyard. Now, Jacob announces to everyone in the Courtyard.

Jacob: We all know the Rules, the Winner of the Arc Duel, whether it be knock out, the Opponent surrendering.......or even death. Can ask or demand anything from the Clan!! No outside help is allowed nor any interference. Fighters, prepare for the Duel!!

As Jacob announces that, Johnathan gets Crocea Mors ready, looking over to Jaune to see him creating an Ice Dagger in his hand, this action made Johnathan laugh.

Johnathan: How arrogant do you think you are of fighting me with that puny Dagger, when I have Crocea Mora in my possession?

Jaune: I learned that Sword was never meant for me as a Wielder, that is why I could not use it to its fullest potential. But even so, it won't scare me.

Johnathan: We shall see.

The two get into a fighting stance as Jacob announces for the Duel to start.

Jacob: Ready........FIGHT!!

The minute Jacob called for the Duel to start, in a hypocritical moment, Johnathan sheathes Crocea Mors and taunts Jaune to come at him. Jaune smirks under his Mask, knowing his so called Father still doesn't believe he has potential and thinks he can't beat him. Jaune sprints at him as he jumps towards the air, lunging the Ice Dagger at Johnathan. He dodges Jaune's attack as Jaune continues to swing the Dagger around, Johnathan moving back to not get hit. Johnathan ducks down from another swing, retaliating back by kicking Jaune in the stomach, staggering him. Johnathan took this chance and equips Crocea Mors, going for a swing which Jaune dodges. Jaune now going for a stab attack but again, Johnathan dodges it and grabs Jaune's arm, putting Jaune in an arm lock.

Jaune swings his body around, bringing Johnathan with him as Jaune kicks Johnathan in the face, the Arc Patriarch punching him back. Jaune was able to get Johnathan to let go, executing a slash right by Johnathan's stomach, which he dodges by stepping back. He uses Crocea Mors to parry all of Jaune's strike, then found an opening, hitting Jaune in the throat, followed by elbow strikes to his face. But Jaune grabs on to Johnathan's arms and slashes it, Blood spilling out of his left arm.

Goodwitch: Is this really what Arc is capable of? He's barely getting a hit on Johnathan!! And he's some kind of Grandmaster. Pathetic.

Those part of Jaune's Clan didn't say word, knowing full well, Jaune is holding back and wanted to see what his Father will try against him in this Duel, even Jacob and Meredith thought the same. Although, they are angry she called him "Arc", knowing he doesn't associate himself with that name anymore.

Jaune and Johnathan walk around the Courtyard in a circle, waiting for their Opponent to make the next move, and it was Jaune whose done it. He slashed towards his Father who quickly blocks it with Crocea Mors, then went for a kick, followed by more slashes that Johnathan either blocks or parries. Then, Jaune went for one more big swing, doing a maneuver that forces Johnathan to drop Crocea Mors to the ground, allowing Jaune to deliver the strike. Jaune spins his body around, not before doing a simple action, not noticed by Johnathan, and delivers the strike. Johnathan holds Jaune's arm, preventing him to deliver the attack. But as he struggles, Johnathan looks up and notices one thing.....

The Ice Dagger is not in Jaune's hand.

SLASH!

Jaune screams out and slashes Johnathan in the face with the Ice Dagger, causing Johnathan to scream in pain and his Family to look at the action in fear, along with that of panic. They want this fight to end, but due to the Tradition of the Arc Duel, they couldn't.

Johnathan slowly gets up to his feet as Jaune watches Johnathan's Semblance doing its work, healing the large Scar on his face.

Jaune: My Uncle told me that despite your average fighting skills, your Semblance is the reason why you are still alive. Healing Factor, you have high amounts of Aura that allow you to heal any form of injury in seconds. The downside, it can't heal major ones.

Johnathan: And? Why does it matter?! Even if you hit me with your strongest attack!! I will still stand!! Count on it!!

Jaune: Then I will have to cut you open piece by piece to win.

He now discards the Ice Dagger and gets into a stance. This time, he won't be playing anymore Games.

Cinder: This is going to be Jaune's win.

Ironwood: What do you mean? He's fighting against his Father, who's a Veteran Huntsman. Why do you except that this is Jaune's win when the Duel has just started?

Neo: Simple, General. This time, Jaune isn't going to hold back, and won't any show mercy whatsoever.

She says as the rest of Jaune's Clan smirk, knowing this will be a massacre and Jaune won't let Johnathan have a chance to hit him.

Back in the Duel, the two get into a stance, Johnathan gripping on the Handle of Crocea Mors, he won't lose, he can't lose. He doesn't want to be made a mockery by his own Son. He was already weak before, and will not be subjected to it again. He's stronger now, and he needs to show it once again. And just as he was going to sprint towards Jaune, Jaune himself made the first move.

He slides across the ground, Ice appearing by his foot as Jaune knocks Johnathan off his feet and into the air, this was followed by twin palm attacks and then a roundhouse kick that sent Johnathan crashing to the ground. Not giving him a chance to deliver an attack, Jaune fires off a Beam of Ice and freezes the ground, along with Johnathan. He retaliates back by throwing Crocea Mors at him like a Spear, Jaune sees this and transforms into Smoke, standing in place and surrounding himself with Smoke, once Crocea Mors is in his vicinity, he parries the attack by disappearing completely and counters Johnathan by teleporting above him and knocking the Man down.

Jaune grabs him and throws Johnathan off to the side, firing off an Ice Ball that freezes Johnathan entirely in Ice. He sprints at him while firing off a volley of sharp Icicles, hitting Johnathan and breaking him free from the Ice, but it didn't stop Jaune. He delivers a jab strike with the Ice Axe, followed by two spinning kicks right for the face and then a shoulder bash attack with his shoulder encased in Ice, following it up two axe strikes and a swing with a large Axe, breaking Johnathan's Skull into pieces. He then transforms into Rain, performing a powerful roundhouse kick that hits Johnathan, a burst of Water explodes as it sends him to the other side of the Arena.

To head over to Johnathan's position, Jaune transforms into Reptile and slides towards him, leaving behind a green Slime Trail under Johnathan.
