Atlas: Solitas Wilds

An Ancient Temple, one that was built during the Days of the Brother Gods, lies in the Icy Mountainous Regions of the Solitas Wilds, where many could not find it. But one such Individual was able to do so, claiming it as their own, they named it the Lin Kuei Temple, named after the Clan this Individual has created, a Powerful Clan of Warriors.

The Temple may be ancient, but its Owner and their People, were able to change this Place for the better, spending months of Resources and hardwork to turn this Temple into the Modern Age, but still retain its Core Values and Structures. After all, this Temple meant something more to the People that came before them.

Its Interiors are filled to the brim with Compounds that extend to the Mountains, with numerous Pathways and Bridges leading to numerous Temples and Buildings in the Compound. Many Areas there have Training Halls, each outfitted to train their Students or Apprentices in all forms of Combat. Along with Dorms and Housing for all those that reside there, it is quite large compared to that of the Dorms in Beacon Academy. Even if they are a Temple, they also own a Platform that serves as an Air Field, where multiple Aircrafts can be seen, and, they also own a Lab, built specifically to the Inventor's specifications. But, in the Hallway, which leads to a Special Location in the Ancient Temple, which is only done during certain Events, we can see two Individuals walking in its very Halls.

The first among the two is described to be a Man wearing Armor from head to toe, which is purple and Silver in color, its Design is basically a Cybernetic Ninja. His Helmet has a Headpiece on its forehead and two glowing red eyes. He also has a Scarf tied around his neck. This Man is Jaune Arc, or what he calls himself now, Jaune Liang.

And we get to the usual question. How did Jaune get here?

Simple, he came into Beacon with Fake Transcripts and made the mistake of saving Cardin Winchester from the Ursa Major, which led to him breaking his promise and exposing his Transcripts to the entirety of the Academy. But the difference between this and other Timelines, is Jaune's actually strong, not powerful, but a good combatant. The only reason why Cardin did this, was to ruin Jaune's Life, after Cardin lost against him numerous times in the Combat Arena. Yet, all of his so called "Friends" betrayed him, many of them calling him a liability, a Weakling; despite showing his skills, but Jaune believes they wanted a Strong Combatant out of Beacon and jailed so they can be on top, a Criminal, which Jaune found stupid, especially when Ruby compared him to Roman, and a danger to them all. Jaune had no intention of dealing with this nonsense and left Beacon, not even giving a shred of sadness.

Then, it was the moment where he reunited with his Family after he abruptly left. Jaune hated the fact that his Family kept babying him, treating him like a Caged Animal, or that one simple mistake and he's dead, when time and time again, he has proven himself to be a good Combatant. After all, his Uncle and Aunt, Jacob and Meredith Arc, the Siblings of his Father, Johnathan Arc, trained him ever since he was a Kid, or done so in secret. And despite that, his Family, or specially his Father, refused to allow him to purse his dream, telling Jaune he will never reach what he aims to achieve or he doesn't have the means to be a Huntsman. Jaune simply had enough and left the Arc Family Home, stating he plans to travel around Remnant to hone his skills and see what he really wants to do now, since he lost everything because of Cardin, and Jaune never looked back.

Because in his eyes, he had another calling, so he journeyed around Remnant to find it, and that he did.

How Jaune found this Ancient Temple, well, when he got a certain Power that made him who he is now, he needed a Remote Base of Operations for his newly made Clan. After a long search, he found this mysterious and Ancient Temple abandoned and frozen in the Solitas Wilds, immediately claiming it as the new home of his Clan. A Clan that will be known in all of Remnant.

But we will get to what the Clan is later on, as we are brought to another Individual, who is none other than Cinder Fall, she sports the same looks, but her hair is much shorter than before. Her Outfit is an orange-garbed Ninja Uniform with black Cloth sewn on to it, it also has an added Hood that she does not wear. She dons black Armor located on her arms, chest, shoulders, Skirt, and legs, each of them sporting red Spikes.

In this Timeline, Cinder was still part of the Orphanage, where she was forced to scrub Floors and was bullied by the other Children, until she was adopted by Clan Arc, specially Jaune's Grandparents, Arthur and Gwendoline Arc. There, she was chosen to be part of the Johnathan Arc Family, where she met Jaune, her Adopted Brother. The two formed a very close bond and always had each other's back.

Then that faithful day happened, by the the time Jaune wanted to be a Huntsman, and constantly begged his Parents to allow him to pursue his Dream. When he was denied once again, Cinder stood up for Jaune and told his Family what needed to be said, on how Jaune doesn't need protecting anymore, and now, has the means to make his own decisions, as this is his own Life. Her actions made Johnathan furious, causing him to hit Cinder in fury, almost giving her a Scar, which was thankfully healed, and after that, he banished her from Clan Arc, never to return again.

The Banishment of Cinder, led to Jaune being more distant to his Family, destroying any bond he ever had with them, all because of his Father's anger. It also led to his Uncle, Aunt, and his Grandparents to be furious of what Johnathan did, which led to Jacob and Meredith to train Jaune even more, to prove his Father wrong. But, Cinder and Jaune did make a promise, that when Jaune does get out of the Arc Household and be free to pursue his own Dreams. She wanted him to find her, and if he does, she will follow him till the ends of Remnant.

And find her he did, Jaune was able to track Cinder down by coming across the Fight with her, Roman, Ruby and Goodwitch. Jaune was able to spot her in the Bullhead and used that time, before he went to Beacon, to find her. It was a scuffle at first, knowing he was surprised that Cinder was working with the White Fang and Roman of all People, but Cinder told them he can be trusted. Although.....he was not pleased by what she was doing. But, Cinder told him that who she is working for, or was working for, is bigger than anything they could ever imagine, and this was the moment, Jaune was told about Salem.

Back to the present, Jaune and Cinder reached the Doors at the end of the Hall, opening it together as they were met with a Courtyard, and once those Doors opened. The Occupants there, are of the hundreds, even beating the numbers of the White Fang, they are Members or Warriors of Jaune's Clan, the Lin Kuei.

Its Main Members are comprised of Cryomancers, they wear a black Hood over their heads, a black and gray Facemask with Breathing Holes over their mouths, a blue and gray Metal Chestplate with two Lin Kuei Symbols over it, along with black and gray Metal Plates over their shoulders and biceps. And Hydromancers, who don purple Hoods over their heads, a purple Facemask, and Purple Armor Plates over their black Robes, most of their Armor has Gold Lining on it.

Then the Sub-Group of the Lin Kuei is the Shirai Ryu, led by Cinder. Which are comprised of Pyromancers, who wear black Ninja Outfits with a Cowl and black Face Masks, as well as Silver and yellow Robes over it. Then a pair of Kunai attached to each of their Forearm Guards. Typhomancers, they wear gray Ninja Robes with a Cowl and Leather Straps wrapped around their wrists and gray Facemasks with Breathing Holes on both sides. And Geomancers, who don brown scaly Ninja Outfits with their arms open and donning that of a Cowl, they have Armor by their wrists and hands, then have a gray Face Mask.

The Lin Kuei is a Clan, Jaune formed after he gained those Powers he obtained when he trekked through the Solitas Wilds. He always wanted to be like his Uncle and Aunt, who gained a following of Soldiers and Warriors as they lead large Groups of them around Mistral to protect the People of Mistral from the Threats that plague Remnant.

And that's what Jaune did, but he started small, first heading over to the Dragon Continent, and using his newfound Powers, he rescued many Villages from the Grimm, Bandits, and White Fang, eventually earning their Support and loyalty. Jaune then initiated the next phase of his plan by recruiting those that wish to fight for the protection of Remnant, and thanks to him helping out the Villages of the Dragon Continent, many joined his Clan, which led to these Individuals being the first Members of the Lin Kuei. Then as Weeks past, more Recruits came flying in, such as Children who were abandoned, Students who were expelled from Vale; Jaune learned some were expelled for illogical reasons, Homeless People, giving them a chance of a better Life, Settlements and Villages not cared for by the 4 Kingdoms, SDC Faunus Workers, and many more.

Jaune wishes to show respect and honor with the Clan, and wishes to spread it across Remnant. To show they are fighting for the safety and protection of Remnant, to also show that People can have a means of redemption. But Jaune wishes to instill fear towards the Enemies of Remnant, show them that they aren't soft and will be brutal if they want to be. Cause one should never judge a Book by its Cover.

And Jaune, can do a balance of both.

As Jaune and Cinder step into the Courtyard, all of the Warriors bowed their heads in respect to their two Grandmasters, the Title meaning they are the Leaders of the Clan. They head on over to the Platform after heading up a few steps, there, in front of them, the two were met with Statues, all placed around in a circle, and those Statues, resemble that of eight Ninjas, each having their own distinct appearances. Jaune and Cinder faced their Clans, as he calls out two names.

Jaune: Mercury Black, Emerald Sustrai, step forward.

When their names were called, Mercury and Emerald, who are wearing the Ninja Garbs of the two Clans, Mercury's is the Lin Kuei, while Emerald's is the Shirai Ryu, step forward towards the Platform and kneeled in front of the two.

Jaune: When I took you in, I had my doubts, knowing both of your backgrounds from what Cinder told me. Emerald, I can understand her reasons of joining, wanting a better means in Life, to have a Home. But after weeks of training you, honing your potential and giving you a better means to achieve your goals. You have exceeded both our expectations. You, Emerald, wish to stay in this Clan as a means to not let others face the same struggles you have faced. As for you Mercury, you have decided to use your talents as an Assassin, as a Killer, to instead, protect those that cannot be protected, and to show our Enemies on why we should be feared. And I'm proud to call you my Personal Apprentice, Mercury Black.

Cinder: As do I with Emerald Sustrai.

The two let out smile, which weren't seen by the two Grandmasters.

Jaune: Now, it is time for you to receive your Gift. Please, step forward and pick whichever Power you choose, and let us see if they wish to grant you their Power.

The two nod and made their way to the Statues. This, this is how Jaune got his Power. He gained the Power of the Eight Ninjas of the Realms, which was the Title used to call them by, they are as follows, Sub-Zero, Scorpion, Smoke, Rain, Reptile, Ermac, Noob-Saibot, and Tremor.

While Jaune was soul searching, as how he calls it, when he arrived in the Solitas Wilds, seeing if there is anything hidden in these Snowy Mountains, there, he came across the Underground Courtyard that was hidden beneath the Mountains, where he encountered the Eight Statues, who were all collecting dust. The minute he stepped foot in it, the Eight Statues lit up, creating Apparitions of the Eight Ninjas as they appeared before Jaune. At first, Jaune was afraid of these Apparitions, being cautious of them, but after a few introductions and explanations, it was revealed that the Eight Ninjas' Spirits reside in this Underground Temple for centuries, waiting for the right Successor to arrive, someone who can bring their Legacy to this World, and after long years of waiting, the one Person who they found, was Jaune.

Many of the Ninjas saw the amount of potential and the kind of Power, Jaune can use with their Abilities, with some believing he can use it to conquer this World as a God, or be its Destroyer. So, they came into a unanimous decision to train him, train him to master their Powers. And it was during those first few weeks where Jaune was guided and trained by the Eight Ninjas, each of them training Jaune every day, teaching him to hone their skills into pure perfection, and during that time, bonded with three Ninjas, who revealed their True Names to Jaune, they are Kuai Liang, Hanzo Hasashi, and Tomas Vrbada, with Kuai Liang being a Father Figure for Jaune, hence why he took his Last Name as a remembrance of him, when the time for them to depart is gone, because the Eight Ninjas will believe that even if they have departed from this World, Jaune will truly uphold their Legacies and turn their Power into something great, and something feared in Remnant.

And that is what's happening now, Jaune bestowed upon the Power of the Eight Ninjas to his Students, those he deemed worthy to uphold the Principles and Values of the Clan, with only a select few being given Special Gifts in which Jaune found in the Temple, which includes a Special Sword that was given to a Man who many considered to be unredeemable. There, he watches Mercury walking over to the Statue of Smoke, while Emerald's is Sub-Zero, they kneeled in front of the Statues with each of them lighting up in the Ninja's respective color, a trail of Energy flows out of the Statues, now making their way into Mercury and Emerald's chest, a glow emanating in their wake as their bodies have never felt stronger than ever.

Once the process has been completed, Jaune and Cinder walk over to Mercury and Emerald, the two now standing side by side with their Mentors as Jaune addresses his People.

Jaune: We must remember the Core Values in which define the Lin Kuei. To accept those who have no place in this World, and show them their purpose, their strength, and, their Duty. To embrace your Power, but not let it corrupt your very self. To protect those that cannot be protected. And to show fear into the Hearts of our Enemies. To purge those that can no longer be redeemed. We are the Lin Kuei, more stealthful than the Night, more deadly than the Dawn!

Everyone: We are the Lin Kuei, more stealthful than the Night, more deadly than the Dawn!

This was followed by the Warriors of the Clans shouting out the same Motto in which Jaune said, a smirk forming on his face, as he glanced over to Cinder, who also smiles at him.

Timeskip

Jaune: So you believe she'll volunteer herself for the Program? This is a big choice, and a big change.

Cinder: And she knows that. Emerald wishes to get stronger, and from what she learned of the Cyber Lin Kuei Program, she wishes to use that Power to help Remnant and lead her own Group of Warriors into Battle. Oh, and also showoff to Atlas that our Tech is far superior than theirs.

Jaune: If the General sees this Program. He will....frown upon it, but also take notes to make their own Program and build it in secret.

???: Ain't that the most obvious answer, Jaune?

A Woman's voice calls out to him, as Jaune and Cinder look over to see said Woman donning what appears to be an Exosuit, with the Armor Plates being mostly red in color, with some parts being that of black. The Design of the Exosuit is a mix of both Traditional and Sci-Fi, given the Ornaments present on her Helmet and shoulders, along with the Bodysuit having a pattern similar to that of Ancient Armor. It also has small LED Lights that light up green around the Armor, with the eyes glowing green as well.

Flashback

As Jaune formed the Lin Kuei, along with finding Cinder and bringing in more Recruits, he needed an edge against Atlas, and knew just where to find them, or her.

With a Tip given to him by Junior, Jaune heads on over to one of the more....Junkyard Areas in Vacuo, searching for one particular Individual, a Woman named Trivia Vanille, or how she calls herself now due to going into hiding, Neopolitan. A Former Scientist and Inventor in the Atlas Military, she created many advancements in Atlas, ones that would have benefitted the Kingdom, only for her to be overshadowed by Pietro Polendina, as many of them, including the General, favored his Creations than hers. The final straw for Neo, was when Ironwood took credit in the Creation of the AKs, not giving Neo any form of acknowledgement, her Designs, were stolen from her, and worse, the Atlas Council defunded her Projects as they believe it
