Steven is sleeping in his bed dreaming of space. he looks around to see emptiness, peace and a stars  light that stretches on forever.

Suddenly a bright light appears and he is blinded. He regains his vision and when he does he's sees violence and war in the stars. he sees ships blasting away at mechanical like beings. He sees he's on a platform, he sees many dead humans wrapped in gold with skin that's been slashed and burnt away. he jumps back in fear afraid of all the death around him. he looks around frantically and sees a boy next to a humanoid being. he tries to approach the boy but he feels a burning sensation in his gem and falls down looking at the ground. He looks up to see the boy standing above him looking down. He looks into his eyes and sees infinite emptiness filled with horror, he feels like he's looking into the void itself. He screams as he tries to get away but the boy reaches out his arm and lifts him up to the air without touching him. he looks back to see ordis standing right next to him. he calls out for ordis help.

Steven: ORDIS PLEASE HELP ME!!!

ordis's gen is shattered and dark, lifeless.

ordis takes off his hood to reveal a human skull and pulls a blade out of thin air.

Ordis: I am the Beast of Bones!!!

He stabs Steven in his gem shattering him.

Steven wakes up screaming from his nightmare but no one around to hear it only except ordis.

Ordis: Steven are you alright!?

Steven looks around panting and cover in a cold sweat

Steven: y-yeah I'm fine. Just had a nightmare that's all.

Ordis: it's okay Steven, nightmares aren't real they can't hurt you. It's only a dream.

Steven: I know but sometimes my dreams feel real, I feel like they can hurt me.

ordis: dreams are only a construct of your own mind. Thier as real as you make them y/n.

Steven: wait, what. Who's y/n?

Ordis: who? I never said that name.

Steven: you just called me that right now.

Ordis: hmm. Must have been thinking of someone else.

Steven looks at him with an unsure expression but quickly dismisses it thinking ordis just called him the wrong name by accident.

Steven: hey ordis. In my dream you were there.

Ordis: oh really? What was I doing.

Steven: you were standing next to a boy, you then removed your hood to show a skull and called yourself the beast of bones. Do you know what that means?

Ordis: nothing Steven, it means nothing. like I said dreams are only what you make of them. Now head off back to bed star child.

Steven: okay ordis.

Ordis leaves him alone and walks out the door.

Steven begins to dwell on his thoughts as he tries to sleep. why was ordis in his dreams with another boy?
Why did he call himself the beast of bones and why was he shattered. He remember his gem and goes to touch it but feels something.

He looks down at it and sees a crack.

it's a white slash across his gem making the same marks as exactly as it did when it was shattered in his dream. He goes to touch it but it fades away as if it was never there.

Steven is worried but he realizes it wasn't real.
He needs to sleep some more, he's just tired.

He thinks about the dream again, why did ordis call him y/n. Is that the boy who was with ordis. The one with eyes from the void...
