~~~ (Y/N) POV ~~~
          I heard the warp pad as Steven and the gems made it back to the house. As Steven opens the fridge to see nothing he runs out to... somewhere. I get up and go out to the porch, looking at the moon. I let out a sigh and turn to the stairs, getting ready to go for a walk to see Steven rushing back. He ran inside, grabbed his alarm clock, set a timer for 5 minutes to 7 in the morning, and jumped in excitement. I watched as he went up really high.
Steven: "Wow! I didn't know I could do that!"
He ran out onto the beach and continued his jumping. I walked over.
(Y/N): "That's really cool. I wonder if I can do that."
Steven looked at me.
Steven: "Why don't you try it out?"
He stopped jumping and looked at me. I shrugged and decided to try. I crouched, I got ready, and I jumped! Then I hit the grounding, getting a nice mouthful of sand.
Steven: "Oh. Well, maybe if you try it some more, you might be able to get it!"
          He smiled before jumping again. This time, he jumped up to the lighthouse, and then off of that. I watched as he was descending........ really slowly. Amethyst came out looking for Steven. I was about to say something when a sandle landed next to me. Amethyst looked down in confusion when another sandle hit her in the head. She looked up, realized where Steven was, and walked to the door, before realizing Steven flying is a new thing. I decided to just walk off, taking a stroll through town.
          I walked past the big doughnut, Fish Pizza, Frieman's Fries, the Arcade, and Funland. I kept walking until I made it to a forest. I walked around, and stopped. I thought back to when I made the wall of ice. I thought about how I couldn't do anything. I am just a walking mess. I clenched my fist. I can't control my powers. I can't figure out what I can do, or even what I am! I was breathing heavily. I swung at a tree, causing an explosion of ice and smoke. Why did I have to be born this way!? Why do I have to be such a nuisance? Why am I such a god damn freak!? I punched another tree, a loud crack boomed through the forest as a spike of ice angled forward, and fire burned around me, a scorched mark was on the ground where the tree was, and there was a tingling feeling in the air. I breathed heavily and I grabbed the patch on my gem, and I ripped it off, throwing it on the ground. Rage filled me, rage at myself, at how I can't do anything right. A bright glow surrounded me, a warmth emanated from my gem, and everything around me had a slightly light-blue tint. I clenched my fists and a glare formed on my face, my teeth clenching shut. I took a deep breath and calmed down, letting my rage leave as something else filled it's place, sadness. Tears filled my eye. The blue tint went away, all the tension in my body left as I fell to my knees and cried.
          I picked up my eye patch again, I tried to put it back on, but I had ripped the band so it wouldn't stay on. I looked around and saw a small vine like bit of greener. I picked it up and used it to keep the patch on my gem. I put my hands in my pockets as I walked back to the beach house. I sneaked into the house, no one saw or heard me come in, and I went to the couch and fell asleep.
     ~~~ TIME SKIP ~~~

          I woke up as Steven and Connie were getting ready to go on a mission. When Steven saw I was awake he came over to the couch.

Steven: "Hey, morning (Y/N). Pearl is taking Connie and I to a scouting mission, you wanna come?"

         I shrugged and got up. I headed into the bathroom, got dressed, and went to the warp pad where everyone was ready to go. We warped to this snowy place, and Steven immediately rushed forward so he could turn around and take some pictures. Pearl and Connie posed, I didn't partake in the posing, and then we were off.

          As we walked, Pearl gave Connie a mini quiz, and then, there was a roar. A giant turquoise and pinkish red gem crashed through two trees, roaring at us. Connie and Steven got their weapons out, I backed up to make sure I stayed out of the way, knowing I probably wouldn't be that useful in this fight. Until a brown gem of the same kind came out and surprised everyone. The growled at each other before splitting up.  Connie and Steven convinced Pearl to allow them to split up into teams, I went with Pearl while Connie went with Steven, and then we went our separate ways.

          After a bit of walking Pearl checked in on Steven and Connie, reminding them they needed to eat. When I heard that I realized how hungry I was. I quickly split off from Pearl and grabbed some berries from a bush. I caught up with Pearl as I ate, she turned to me.

Pearl: "Are you sure those are safe to eat?"

(Y/N): "Of course, these are just regular blueberries. Don't worry, I know a lot about plants and what's safe. Like did you know that apple seeds contain small traces of cyanide making them poisonous, but only if you eat enough.... though I still do not recommend eating apple seeds."

Pearl: "What!? Apples are poisonous!? When we get back to them temple I am getting rid of all the apples."

(Y/N): "No, Pearl, only the seeds are bad, if you want I can slice the apples to be safe to eat, but you don't need to go over board, there is a lot of plants people eat that are poisonous to most things on the planet. Peppers are spicy because that is a poison, we just have a, kind of immunity. Caffeine is poisonous, and yet we still drink lots of Coffee, and put it in many drinks. Poppy's are deadly, and yet we use them as pain killers, and then of course there is the infamous drug tobacco that we are not immune to, it still kills us, just slowly, and for some reason we like it."

Pearl: "Really? That's so..... weird."

(Y/N): "Well, humans are adaptive, like every other thing on this planet. Those plants are all poisonous so that creatures won't eat them, and here we are, adapting so we can eat them, yet we can't drink water if it has like 3% salt content. Despite being just about the most common form of water. Or the fact that pure water is poisonous, we literally need to have minerals in our water, but only the right minerals I guess, and not too much. If you put salt in it, it actually causes us to dehydrate, if you take out all the minerals it slowly kills us from the inside, but if you get that right mixture of mineral to water content, it is a great substance that we require to stay alive."

          Pearl looked at me, then ahead, possibly in deep thought, or just not sure how to respond. The weather started to worsen a little so Pearl checked in on Steven and Connie, they were doing fine, so we continued the hunt. Only a few moments passed and a stomping sound was heard. We found the monster, well, it found us. Pearl summoned her spear, I took a few steps back and started to try and mentally prepare myself. The monster charged at Pearl, and she was preparing to strike when she was distracted, Connie called saying that they found the monster and needed help. For a moment Pearl had a moment, worrying about Steven and Connie, which allowed the monster to hit her off to the side. I started to panic a little. Pearl is down, Steven and Connie are away, and I can barely control my power. How am I supposed to do this? How could I possibly fight this thing? I mean, I have to try, right? I looked over at Pearl, and then I looked at my own hands, then the monster. I took off my eye patch and let my confusion, hate, and guilt wash over me. I looked at the monster, my teeth clenched, tears in my eye, and a blue flame around my gem. I rushed at the monster and punched it, covering one of it's arms in an icy cast. Everything started to go a little blurry as I was losing myself. I kept breathing faster and faster, tears kept coming, my nails were digging into my hand. I wanted to scream, so I did. I screamed letting out all of my emotions, my anger for how useless I was, my guilt for tearing apart my parents, my sadness for the ruin I bring everywhere. I ruined my parents, I made my Aunt hate me, I tore up a forest, I can't even fight. Then, everything went black.

          ~~~ Pearl POV ~~~
          I was pushed off to the side, and I saw (Y/N). I was about to call out and tell them to get out of the way, but they managed to freeze the creatures leg. I got up and was about to congratulate them when I saw the tears in their eye, the blood dripping from their hand, and the anger and torment on their face. I started to cry, and then I heard them scream. The creature slowed to a stop, trying to resist the force before destabilizing into it's gem. I was having trouble keeping myself together. The scream, it made me feel sad, feel like I let everyone down, like I couldn't do anything, and this sadness, it was so much, it hurt. Though after a bit, the screaming stopped, and (Y/N) was collapsed on the ground. I rushed over to them and picked them up. I then remembered about Steven and Connie, and I picked up the creature's gem and started to run with (Y/N) over my shoulder.
          I made it just in time to see Jasper, standing in front of Steven and Connie with the gem of the other creature. Jasper smiled and showed off her 'prize' before walking off. I made sure Steven and Connie were safe, and we headed back to the Temple.
          ~~~ Time Skip (Y/N) POV ~~~

          I woke up on the couch in the Temple. I saw Pearl, Garnet and Amethyst talking by the warp pad. They turned to me.

Amethyst: "Hey bud. How you doin'?"

I sat up and got a little light headed, but I was able to hide it.

(Y/N): "I'm okay, I guess."

Pearl: "Are you sure?"

(Y/N): "Yes. I'm fine."

I said, a migraine pulsing in my head as I ignored it, hiding how I felt.

Lion was sitting next to the couch, lying down, when suddenly, Steven fell out of his mane.

Steven: "I'VE MADE A HORRIBLE MISTAKE!"

We all look at him as he jumps back into the mane. He comes back out soon after, gasping for air.

Steven: "There's a gem inside of lion's mane!"

Pearl: "A gem?"

Garnet: "Describe her."

Steven: "Hang on a sec."

He put his head back into the mane.

Steven: "She's big. With rainbow hair and tattoos."

Pearl: "Rainbow hair? What does her gem look like?"

Steven: "It's, an inny."

Pearl: "It can't be."

Amethyst: "Can't be what?"

Garnet: "Steven, bring her out."

Steven put his head in lions mane again, and pulled out a large, purple figure, with ranbow hair, a rainbow inny gem, and tattoos.

Amethyst: "Wooow, a total stranger."

???: "Pearl? Garnet?"

Pearl: "Biiiismuuuuuuth! You're back."

She jumped onto Bismuth. I sat on the couch in total confusion, and pain. Keeping my poker face. Bismuth laughed and grabbed pearl.

Bismuth: "Wow, hey. The pearl I know would never jump into my arms. Hey did someone lose a pearl? Who do you belong to?"

Pearl: "Nobody."

Garnet: "Alright alright. Settle down."

Bismuth: "Oh, you're one to talk. Oh, excuse me, you're two to talk."

Garnet lightly punched Bismuth with her gauntlet.

Bismuth: "Cool it, your ruby is showing."

Pearl: "Where have you been, we thought you were captured, or worse, shattered."

Bismuth: "Shatter me? Homeworld couldn't lay a scratch on this gem."

Amethyst: "*Ahem* Who is this?"

Garnet: "Guys, this is Bismuth. She's one of the original crystal gems."

Bismuth: "Oh hey, new recruits, welcome aboard. We could always use more amethysts."

She then looked over to Steven and I, who were standing next to Amethyst.

Bismuth: "And who are these meatballs?"

Steven: "Hi, I'm Steven. You were in my lion, and now your in my house."

Bismuth: "Well thanks for having me. And what about you? You look like you have been in a scuffle or two?"

She said as she looked toward me. I simply waved and said,

(Y/N): "(Y/N)."

Bismuth: "Not much of a talker huh?"

Pearl: "I can't believe this! Rose said she lost track of you at the battle of the ziggurat. She was worried sick."

Bismuth had a look of shock, surprise, and some, sadness and then confusion. Which did not go unnoticed by me.

Bismuth: "Wait. Where is Rose?"

Steven: "Hi, um, actually, I'm Rose's son. She kind of, turned into me. Well, I have her gem, the rest is from my dad."

Bismuth: "Oh."

Pearl: "And, so far, if our current theory is to be believed, then technically some of her resides in (Y/N) as well. Being a possible obsidian, I guess?"

Bismuth looked at me in confusion as I took of my eye patch to reveal my gem.

Bismuth: "Wow, now why would you hide that intriguing beauty?"

I looked down and to the side, my migraine acting up at each movement of my eyes and head.

(Y/N): "I don't like talking about it."

Pearl: "They are a little sensitive about the topic, but you should have seen them against the......"

She stopped herself as she remembered that I was unaware that she saw my 'fight' with the corrupted gem.

Bismuth: "What?"

Pearl: "Oh nothing."

Bismuth: "Well, this is really something else. I mean, rose is LITERALLY something else! And we're building bases out of wood now? Who's terrible idea was this? And where is everybody else?"

Steven: "Everybody else?"

     My migraine suddenly pulsed more as a flash of gems just entered my head. Images of people standing together, smiling, laughing, casually holding blades and weapons as they prepared for something. I clenched my teeth and closed my eyes for a sec before relaxing again and continuing my poker face, hoping no one noticed.

Bismuth: "Yeah, the rest of the crystal gems. Ol' crazy lace, bigs, snowflake."

Pearl and Garnet looked at each other in worry as we headed to the warp pad. Going to a field of strawberries. My migraine pulsed again, and the memories came back, the pain intensifying, as the scene changed from joy, to slaughter and misery. I ignored the sudden rush of pain and images, keeping everything in as I put my hand in my pocket and clenched my fist.

Bismuth: "No, no way. We were just here. How long was I out?"

Pearl: "It's been about 5,300 years. We, the crystal gems, were able to save the earth..."

Bismuth: "...But we're all that's left of the rebellion huh?"

     Bismuth, Pearl, and Garnet walked forward as I stepped off the pad and headed in a different direction. Needing to release this pain, and flood of emotion. I made my way a far bit from the pad, so I was nice and alone. I took my hand out from my pocket, I got to my knees grabbed my head, and a groaned. Trying to make the pain stop, the groan turned into a growl, which slowly started to build up into a grunt, which built up into a scream. A red, blue, purple wave pulsed from me. Then another pulse, and then a flood, as I tried to release my emotions, tried to turn them away, get rid of the pain, and the gems I didn't know, yet who seemed so familiar. The pain started to die down as the memories slowly left me, at this point there was nothing but tears. I relaxed, wiped my face, and slowly made my way back to the pad. After a few seconds the gems came back, pumped, and got onto the pad. We warped to this dull place with smoke, and ash everywhere.

Bismuth: "That brings back memories huh."

Steven: "Is this the forge?"

Bismuth: "Not yet. Follow me."

Bismuth started to lead us down a path.

Steven: "Is this the forge?"

Amethyst: "Don't ask me. I've never been here."

Pearl: "Well, since Bismuth was gone, we had no reason to come back here."

Bismuth: "Let's just say this place just ain't the same without me."

Steven: "What does that mean? Amethyst, what do you think that means?"

Amethyst: "I don't know dude. I've never even seen this gem before today."

Bismuth: "We took a huge blow from Homeworld. But now, we're back in bismuth."

Steven laughs as Amethyst and I are unamused. We made it to a large metal block in a wall where Bismuth put her hands together under her gem. Her chest glowed as the metal block opened up into a hallway into the volcano.

Steven: "Wow, it feels like an oven in here."

Bismuth: "You think it's hot now?"

Steven: "Yeah, like an oven."

Bismuth: "Well it's about to get WAAAAY HOTTER!"

     Bismuth slammed down on a pedestal causing magma to pour from some holes in the walls, creating a decorative lighting with the lava flowing through some small channels. Steven was sweating profusely.

Bismuth: "Nothing like a hot lava bath to get into a working mood."

Steven: "So, what exactly do you do here?"

Bismuth: "Homeworld used us to erect spires and temples for the gem elites to enjoy. But Rose taught me that my life was my own. That I could choose to do whatever I wanted. So I chose this."

Steven: "Bismuth, you make weapons?"

Bismuth: "That's right. I outfitted the entire rebellion. Every single weapon used by the gems was made right here in this forge. Wait, is it still here? YES!"

     Bismuth found a box and opened it up, throwing a spiky object to Garnet that fused with her weapon. Pearl got a trident. Amethyst and Steven were talking about Bismuth until she called Amethyst over. After taking out her whip, Bismuth thought for a moment before going back into her chest and equipping the whip with some spiked balls.

          ~~~ TIME SKIP ~~~
     We were on the beach. Amethyst, Pearl, and Garnet faced Bismuth, weapons out, ready to spar. As the intensity continued, Bismuth ended up smashing a rock in the heat of passion and looked over to Steven and I.
Bismuth: "(Y/N), come down here and show me what your made of."
     I thought for a moment. The gems were looking at each other, a little worried and hesitant.
(Y/N): "I mean, I guess I could try, but I don't have much to show."
Bismuth: "I'm sure that's not true. Come on."
     I walked down, as Bismuth had her hammers out, ready to spar. I thought for a moment, and took out my karambits. I ran at her and swung, missing as she twirled around me while swinging her hammer. I got hit and fell on the ground, as the gems gasped I got up to continue the spar.
Bismuth: "Quite a toughy for a meatball."
     I got angry hearing that, and I rushed at her, smoke coming from my feet as I ran. I swung, missed, and got hit again.
Bismuth: "But I guess you gotta be a little tough if your so slow."
     I got up again, my rage building. I swung, missed, got hit. Swung, missed, got hit. Swung, missed, got hit.
Bismuth: "Hmm, I guess you really don't have much, huh?"
     I got up. I clenched my weapon, my fists tight with anger. I dismissed my weapon, and charged at her. This got her off guard as she was confused. I reeled back my arm, got close, and started to punch as she jumped aside. I tripped on the sand, my punch still going through, and as my fist connect with the sand, a loud, thundering boom resounded throughout the beach. Sand had plumed into the air, creating a smokescreen, but when it cleared, I was at the epicenter of a ring of glass spikes, some of which barely grazed Bismuth as everyone stared wide-eyes. My migraines came back as I groaned, and then passed out.
          ~~~ TIMESKIP ~~~

     I woke up in the temple 2 days later. I missed Steven poofing Bismuth, because she
