~~~ (Y/N) POV ~~~ 

     Steven and Amethyst went out to talk and hang as I sat on the couch. Pearl and Garnet were talking by the warp pad. I was eating some eggs and bacon. As I finished eating, Pearl came over.

Pearl: "Is there something you would like to talk about?"

(Y/N): "....no."

Pearl: "(Y/N), you know you can tell us anything, right?"

(Y/N): "Okay."

     I looked down and grabbed my plate before standing up. I was about to head to the kitchen when Garnet was in the way.

Pearl: "Look. (Y/N), I saw you in the forest, with the gem."

     I paused for a moment.

(Y/N): "So?"

Pearl: "Your scream. You, can do something that only one other gem has ever been able to do before. That gem being a very, very special gem. You can project your emotions. Though, it seems like not in the way the other gem was able to, not in waves of emotion, but screams of passion."

(Y/N): "Waves? What do you mean by that?"

     Pearl and Garnet looked at each other.

Pearl: "Blue diamond. She can radiate this energy, turn the whole room blue, and anyone caught in this field, would feel her sadness, or guilt. The only gem who could force other gems to cry, or just drop to their knees in sorrow."

     I looked down.

Pearl: "(Y/N), do you feel like you let us down?"

     I slowly nodded. Garnet squatted and put her hand on my shoulder.

Garnet: "You don't let us down. You don't let anybody down. You are just having some trouble, but you are new to this world. Steven just started getting used to his healing and shield summoning. You two have so much potential that still needs to be unlocked. You are progressing so fast, even if you can't fully control all your powers, you still have a handle on your weapons, and you will find out how to control things within' time."

(Y/N): "Thank you."

Garnet: "Now we need to get to the barn."

     Garnet and Pearl started to walk to the warp pad before I could ask why. I join them on it and we warped to the barn. We saw Lapis holding five rubies, as Steven, Amethyst, and Peridot were just arriving. 

Steven: "The rubies are back?"

Lapis: "The showed up on their little ship acting very angry. So I put them in time out."

Steven: "I thought we were done with these guys. Why did you come back here?"

     He walked over to the bubbles.

Garnet: "Let's release one and just ask what they're up to."

Steven: "Ooh, ooh. Can I pick?"

Garnet: "Go for it."

     Steven walked closer to the bubbles to inspect them, and pointed at the ruby with a gem on their leg.

Steven: "Oh, let's talk to leggy."

Pearl: "Leggy?"

Steven: "I named them based on the placement of their gems. There's Leggy, Army, Navy, Eyeball, and uh, Doc. Leggy seems like the easiest to talk to."

Lapis: "Leggy, come on down."

     The bubble with Leggy burst as she dropped to the ground.

Steven: "Hey, hi, I'm Steven. What brings you back to Earth?"

Leggy: "Uh, I don't, know?"

Steven: "Oh, I understand. I used to forget why we go on missions all the time."

Leggy: "I'll just go stand over here then."

Steven: "Let's take a chance on Army."

     Army's bubble popped.

Steven: "Good afternoon."

Army: "AAARRRGGGGGGHHHHHHHHH!! I'll tear you limb from limb!"

     She rushed at Steven as Garnet picked her up.

Garnet: "Hey, don't be like that."

Army: "Why I 'oughta, razzle, frzl, erg, gr."

Garnet: "Aww. Next!"

     Garnet put Army under her arm.

Steven: "Uh, Navy?"

Navy: "If I remember correctly, we were on Earth... uh, huh. This is so embarrassing."

     She turned away and ran over to Leggy.

Steven: "Okay. Eyeball?"

Eyeball: "I'm not telling y'all nothing about nothing."

Steven: "The only one left now is, Doc."

Doc: "Where's Jasper? Last time we came, you tricked us into playing that stupid game, then you said 'She's on Neptune.' so we looked, and she wasn't there. She wasn't on Neptune, or any other planet in this whole dang solar system. Tell us where she is, right now. No games, no tricks, and no slick disguises."

     As she was saying that, Amethyst snuck away and put on a slick disguise.

Amethyst (J): "Hey! I'm right here."

Pearl: "Is she serious."

     I leaned over to Pearl and whispered.

(Y/N): "Two of them didn't even know why they were here. I don't think they have the best....... capacity for intelligence."

Army: "Look it's Jasper, yeah."

     Eyeball ran up to Jasper.

Eyeball: "Jasper. I am Ruby 1F4 Cut-4ND, I fought in the war for Earth."

Amethyst (J): "Uh, at ease."

Eyeball: "I was on the ground in facet 6 when I heard the tale of the facet 9 kindergarten quartz that could. They said you pumped out of the ground with your helmet on and took out eighty crystal gems before the sun went down. When I found out this mission was to look for you, I nearly dissipate my form. It is, an honor to finally meet you."

Amethyst (J): "Yep, that's me. Always huge, never small, all the- all the time since I was made."

Eyeball: "Wait a minute. You look different than I thought you would."

Pearl: "Oh, here it is."

Amethyst (J): "Oh, you must mean my tan. You know, from the sun."

Eyeball: "..... Stupid Earth sun. Argh, I hate this planet."

Amethyst (J): "Curse this planet."

     All the rubies came over to kick the ground.

Doc: "Well it's a good thing we finally found you. Yellow diamond is awaiting your return. We'll take you back to home world right away."

Amethyst (J): "Noooo. I mean *Cough cough* I, Jasper, have decided to stay on Earth."

Doc: "What?"

Leggy: "Why?"

Navy: "Yeah, why Jasper?"

Amethyst (J): "Because, I gotta stay here, with these guys."

     She gestured to us.

Amethyst (J): "Yep, gotta keep them prisoner.... for the diamonds."

Leggy: "Jasper."

Navy: "Such devotion."

Doc: "Whelp, Yellow will definitely want to know about this. You'll have to file a report to the nearest diamond base."

Leggy: "Where is that?"

Navy: "Did we pass it on the way here?"

Doc: "You dummies, it's, uh, it's. Hmmmm."

Eyeball: "UUGGGH, it's there!"

     She said as she pointed to the barely visible moon in the sky.

Amethyst (J): "I gotta hold this all the way to the moon? Um, hold this, hold these, prisoners. Gotta bring the rebel prisoner's if we're going to the moon, can't leave them here unsupervised."

Doc: "Very well. To the ship!"

Pearl: "What are you doing, this isn't going to work."

Garnet: "You can't hold that form forever."

Amethyst (J): "I can do this. We'll go to the moon, come back, and they'll leave us alone. Just play along."

     We headed to the ruby ship. All the rubies got into their seats.

Steven: "Woow, it's huge in here. I thought it'd be super cramped."

Eyeball: "Hey, this ain't no pleasure cruise."

Amethyst (J): "Yeah, show some respect. You, crystal, germs!"

Garnet: "Awe, curses, I can't believe we been caught. And by none other than Jasper. So cross over it."

     She walks to the side and sits down. I join her wordlessly, not going for any theatrics.

Steven: "Uh huh. That sure is Jasper. The one that caught us. Harumph."

     Steven joins us as well.

Pearl: "Of all the indignities! Do what you want I'll never talk!"

Amethyst (J): "I wish. Go sit over there now!"

     Pearl joined us as Doc invited Amethyst to join the front seat, Amethyst, not knowing how to pilot a ship, told Doc to sit in the chair with her. After launch, Amethyst got up to have a quick chat with us. She was sweating profusely. Though we quickly made it to the moon base. We exited the ship and I started to examine the base looking around in curiosity. As Eyeball recalled the time where he saw Pink diamond being shattered, I got a vision. 

     I was in front of this pink structure. Then, someone behind me cut through my chest, but not the gem. I felt hands wrap around me, and then the vision faded it, but as it left, a migraine arrived. I ignored it, and kept walking, pretending I didn't see anything. As we made it to the top of the tower, the console had been smashed, and apparently the communication device was missing. As the rubies talked over what should happen, Amethyst broke for a sec and reverted to her original form, but quickly fixed herself before the rubies noticed. She suggested that instead of going all the way to homeworld and back, Eyeball should make a report for her. We started to go back down the stairs. At the base of the tower, Amethyst took another quick break as they started up the ship.

Garnet: "You really held it together."

Pearl: "You did it. I told you you could."

(Y/N): "Don't count your chicks till the eggs hatch, it isn't over."

     Doc peeked out of the ship to ask if Amethyst wanted to sit in her seat again, but saw that Amethyst, was in fact, not jasper.

Amethyst: "I'M STILL JASPER!"

Doc: "We've been tricked, AGAIN!"

     The rubies fused together and Steven ran to the door, and opened it. My eye widened as the air was slowly getting sucked from my lungs, and Steven, the rubies, and I were slowly getting pulled into space. Garnet and Pearl fused into a large girl with a hammer, and smashed the ruby. As they deformed, one ruby had grabbed Steven, as they blew out into space, and I wasn't far behind, without air.

          ~~~ TIMESKIP ~~~

     I was drifting through space. My lungs felt like they were burning. All the air sucked out of my body. I curled up, and tried to get air, I kept trying to inhale, I tried and tried. But nothing happened. My lungs continued to burn, but I wasn't blacking out. I wasn't dying, but it felt like hell. I just wanted the pain to go away. I wanted it to stop. I field of red surrounded me. And I waited, hoped, that the suffering would stop.

          ~~~ TIMESKIP Steven's POV ~~~

     We were all in the ship, searching for (Y/N), and then, the ship started to become a deeper tint of red. And I gasped, I had trouble breathing. The gems and I fell to our knees as we felt this burning, this pain. Garnet barely managed to stand up, and see (Y/N) floating out in space. She pressed a button, and (Y/N) was pulled into the ship. We gasped for air, as the red glow died down.

     I felt the air enter my lungs, I relaxed as I finally took in a sweet, sweet breathe of air. I finally slowed my breathing to a normal pace, and I slowly fell unconscious.
