After the explosion and concurrent cancelling of school for the rest of the day, Doll had found herself in the schools sick bay with a nasty headache as her only company. As to not fall over from said headache, Doll had been told by the nurse to stay seated in on of the chairs located in the reception area of the nurses office.

Her clothes were almost entirely covered with soot on the front side, her skirt was completely black as it was normally though and a bandage was wrapped around her head and obscuring her right eye as she sat on one of the small wall mounted chairs. The bandage was there to help her focus as her vision was all static-y from the aftereffects of the explosion.

After ten minutes of sitting and waiting her vision had finally returned to normal and she could actually see things properly again. Once this had happened Doll took the chance to look over the room she was in before noticing that the wall behind her was lined with multicoloured posters about safety and such things.

On said wall was trio of stickers, one of a chibi version of her in a firefighter outfit while the other two were of a similarly styled Lizzy and Thad as a police officer and doctor respectively.

Some of the other posters that lined the walls included
"Wash your hands, your waterproof."
"When You Are On fire, Try To Not Be On Fire.".

"MISSING - Have you seen this girl?"
Doll couldn't read anything underneath those words because this poster was on the furthest wall from her, nestled and forgotten in the corner as it began to fall apart. All of the poster's were fairly old with the exception of last years drone of the year winner's poster.

"Worker Of the Year 3070, Sarah Day.".
This poster showed a blue eyed Worker Drone shyly posing with her daughter whilst the pair hold up a small sliver trophy. There was also a pair of quotes on the poster.

"Pose..? like this? - Sarah Day".
"Ah!? Mum! - Emily Day".

Doll continued to slowly meander her gaze around the room, observing everything it had to offer in an attempt to pass the time till her discharge from this place. After a minute or two, her boredom was interrupted by someone calling her name.

"Hey Doll, I gotta thank you for canning class like that. I didn't see you as the type to end your lecture with a bang! Hahaa!".

The student laughed at their own joke from the door, their texan accent showing itself in full force as he did so. It was one of the new arrivals to the bunker, Jackal. He put both of his hands into his brown leather jacket's pockets as he stopped laughing and lent on the doorframe. His black hardhat slipping forward slightly on top of the drones beach blonde mess of hair, the longest of it being neck length and tied into little braids.

He was known for being abrasively loud, being the only drone in the colony with a texan accent, going around barefooted and constantly calling the teacher "Unks.". Which was true, considering he was in fact related to the old fart of a robot even if his real parents weren't present.

The orange eyed loudmouth also happened to be living with their teacher, Doll knew this because of how much her only friend Lizzy complained about her obnoxious and unwanted cousin whenever the chatty blonde came over for a sleepover.

Doll sighed before replying to him in a straight to the point manner
"I didn't mean for that to happen."

"Yeah and, you still did it." He waved one of his hands towards her as he stopped leaning on the doorframe, pulling his other hand out of the jacket to give a small wave down the corridor before he winked at her and left.

Doll scowled slightly, Jackal was right of course. She had blown up her crossbow despite not meaning to, the only worrying thought was the fact that she didn't have it with her. Whoever had brought her here must of left it in the classroom, at least she still had her schoolbag.

As Doll looked inside her backpack to make sure everything was still there she could hear chatter from outside in the halls,
"I'll be there soon don't worry...". There was a pause before the feminine voice continued.
"Umm.. girl no."
"I'm just going to see if she's ok, I won't be late Bethany.".

After that a student walked in through one of the doors. It was the most popular girl in school and Doll's best friend, Lizzy, she was in her usual red cheerleader outfit with pink boots on and was cautiously holding Doll's Pulse Crossbow in her hands. Her long blonde ponytail emerging from a hole in the back of her red hardhat and was tied up by a pair of yellow easy bend metal bows.

"Hey bestie... your ok? Right?" Lizzy's concern was evident in her voice as the pink eyed worker drone went and sat in the seat next to Doll, handing Doll the soot covered Pulse Crossbow.

The power core was missing from it but Doll was just elated that she had it back. The russian worker drone had always had some sort of slight paranoia whenever something of hers went missing.

"Yeah... Just wasn't expecting it to do that." Doll replied, giving Lizzy a reassuring look as she took the Crossbow and placed it with her own schoolbag on the seat opposite to Lizzy.
"Phew, yeah. I didn't think it was that powerful." Lizzy said with a small smile before continuing, shifting to a more serious tone as she spoke.

"Doll. Just, Don't do that again... I... ugh". Lizzy stopped for a second as she thought of what to say before she continued.

"I had to help clean all the soot in the classroom up. I don't look hot doing that girl!". Doll chuckled a little at Lizzy's obvious misfortune as the girl in question stared back at Doll in mock annoyance, her hands to her hips to add to the affect.

"Hmm, are you too popular to do some manual labour now?" Doll jested back at her after a second of thought, not a second enough due to the fact that she had just pushed the wrong button. This statement caused Lizzy to frown back at Doll, making the purple haired drone sense that she might of said something wrong.

"... Well, Jac-Kal and his loser posse didn't have to do any clean up so why should I have to!? Its unfair!" The pink eyed diva exclaimed with a burst of self righteous fury, her hand flicking side to side to punctuate her cousins' name.

This was a side of Lizzy that Doll preferred not to see, her stuck up viewpoint that she was the centre of the world was the only thing that made her doubt their long lasting and rickety friendship.

Insults bounced around the room as Lizzy began to rant, picking on anything related to Jackal for her wrathful bombardment of words.

"They just ran off and Dad didn't even try to get them back to help out, The lot of them should just go back to the outside where they belong!" Lizzy continued to verbally flay her cousin, it may of seemed loud now as she raised her voice slightly with each complaint but this was only a small fraction of her full power on display.

Doll had to stop this so that Lizzy didn't go fully of the rails and do something stupid as she has done a few times before.

Stupid like that one time a year or two back when the diva, in a fit of stylish rage had challenged her at the time boyfriend Thad to a swordfight. No one had an iota of an clue as to where that idea had came from but everyone was to invested in the idea of seeing Thad and Lizzy duke it out.

Of course they both used a pair of antique wooden katana's they stole from the WDF headquarters instead of anything that could actually result in serious injury. The really memorable part however was the fact that Lizzy had absolutely wiped the floor with Thad in all five matches, not giving the green eyed jock a single win.

Doll stifled a chuckle as she remembers that before quickly thinking over a few idea's of how to stop this in her head before settling on one, this was a great idea she thought to herself. As Lizzy continued to pout petty insults out, now about things seemingly unrelated to the original topic Doll suddenly jutted in.

"Lizzy, what's the time?" This was such a stupid question to ask that the absurdity hit Lizzy like slap to the face.

"...its... Uhh. 3:12 PM. Why?" Lizzy gave her friend a confused look before she did a double take of the time on her internal clock, The metal diva was late for cheerleading practice by a good seven minutes now.

Doll knew that Lizzy was late for cheerleader practice since she had managed to memorize the timetable from when she used to take part in it. Lizzy however, hadn't for some unknown reason.

The blonde haired girl now hurriedly waved a goodbye to her bandaged friend and booked it out of the nurses office. After she was sure the girl was gone the somewhat frightened nurse came out of her personal office and told Doll that she was discharged.

Doll removed the after bandage after she heard this, feeling over her visor as she did. There was no damage, somehow. She then gathered up her mostly soot covered things and left for home, not wanting to waste anymore time, for she had a power core to replace.
