As the faceless Decepticon gave out his strong command, the Vehicon soldiers began to strike, the Autobot team fought as they tried their best to block their attacks and blasts, keeping the changed humans out of danger or getting harmed.

Soundwave's minion, Ravage, swiftly sprinted to the tall standing Prime. Optimus attempted to shoot him, but it was to no avail. The cyber-feline jumped and bit his arm, his sharp teeth digging inside the leader's thick armor. Optimus let out a loud painful groan due to the piercing discomfort he felt, he seized Ravage by the neck and threw him away. Deep holes of the mini-con's bite were left on the Prime's armor, small drips of Energon leaked down on his arm. Ravage landed on his four feet and leaped towards the rest of his enemies.

"Get them outta here!" Bulkhead directed his teammates as he and Arcee struggled to aim at the fast-running panther, unluckily, Ravage pounced on top of Arcee. Just when Bulkhead was intending to stop the beast, several Vehicon soldiers opened fire at him. Ravage let out a piercing roar above the femme's form, near her audio receptor, Arcee grimaced at the loud volume but took the opportunity to take out her blades and slice the feline's mid-section plating underneath. He agonizingly hissed and retreated, blue liquid dripping out of his frame. Punctually, Grimlock stepped in and bit the head out of one of the Vehicon soldiers and pushed the rest, successfully freeing Bulkhead from their wrath.

Strongarm glanced at the girls and instructed, "Come on, you have to go!"

"What about you guys?!" Twilight asked in concern.

While the Autobots were distracted and fighting for their lives and survival, Starscream directed his missile at the Prime who was focused mainly on the combat.

The seeker grinned mischievously and prepared his armament, Bumblebee looked at him and his optics widened, realizing what the winged mech was planning to do. The lieutenant fearfully cried for the Prime:

"OPTIMUS!"

Afterwards, Starscream released his missile.

Rainbow rapidly became aware of the fast-flying weapon and dashed with her super-speed. As he failed to grab her on time, Sideswipe shouted, "RAINBOW, NO--!"

Optimus instantly heard the warning from one of his comrades. Unfortunately, as he turned around, he noticed the upcoming rocket, but it was not more than a meter away already.

Just when the Prime was about to meet his fate, a rainbow-colored trace appeared ahead of him in a flash of light. In a millisecond, the ammunition somehow inverted itself in the direction of the Decepticons. The faceless drones and Starscream quickly jumped and ducked from the explosion. The grey mech grunted and stoked the side of his helm as he got up, he gave a second glance at where the missile exploded and then at the Prime, he starred in pure shock once the smoke disappeared and saw Rainbow Dash in the way.

She remained in a steady position and lifted her face, the winged femme smirked at the irritated seeker, "Right back at ya." she stood up, tall and proud. The rest of the Autobots and Decepticons stood frozen in disbelief. She glanced behind her as soon as she heard the cheers of her dear friends.

"That's our Rainbow!" cheered Sunset.

"Go, Dashie!" Pinkie pounced as she applauded.

The element of loyalty smiled and focused her attention on the seeker, "Time for some payback." she bumped her fist in her palm and dashed to him.

Without a chance to prepare for the outcome, Starscream received a hard kick in his tanks, causing him to let out an agonizing sound and stumble back. Starscream grunted and glared at her straight in her optics full of confidence and yet hatred, "You think you are capable of beating me, fleshy?"

"Think? Oh, I know it."

"A pathetic being like you has no chance against me!"

"Bet." she mocked and prepared herself. Starscream drew out his long claws and launched an attack, "C'mon, is that all you've got?" she managed to dodge his hits like it was nothing, she kept making silly faces at him, making him more irritated, for her it was hilarious, "You're too slow!" she showed up behind him, before he could slice her face off, she blocked his arm with her's which, out of the blue, transformed as a blaster. After pushing him away, Rainbow gazed at her firearm in amazement and grinned, "This is getting even better!" the moment she thought so, Starscream blasted her on the side. The rainbow-colored femme yelped in pain and fell on the dirt, her arm converting to its normal appearance.

Starscream chuckled darkly as he stepped closer to her fallen form, "Such a laughable display. I must admit it was fun, indeed. But I'm afraid our little combat ends here." he directed his charging blaster at her, "Prepare to meet your doom, meat bag."

All of a sudden, something sharp cut through his arm. He shrieked out in discomfort and recoiled. Rainbow spotted the red color of the mech next to her, her guardian Sideswipe, holding his katana which he cut the Decepticon with, "Can I join?" he queried as he offered his free servo. Rainbow smiled and got up on her pedes thanks to his assistance. They took prepared positions and went on fighting against the angered Starscream.

Bulkhead slammed the drones with his mace-like weapon, before one of them could bring him down, someone warned, "Watch your head!" the green giant quickly ducked, large boulder got thrown above his helm, crushing the troops into scrap. He glimpsed beside him and saw his charge coming his way, "Ya okay there, partner?" Applejack questioned.

"Wasn't I supposed to protect you?" Bulkhead asked as he got up.

"How about we watch each other backs, huh?" the cowgirl offered.

"Alright, you got it." he replied, his intake forming a smirk.

Concurrently, Ravage had already regained his strength from the deep wound and his attention aimed at the nearest target he saw, Fluttershy. He snarled at her and slowly approached her. As Bumblebee fought the drones, he noticed how the feline was coming near his charge. He promptly made his way to defend her, but without any awareness, Soundwave wrapped one of his limbs around the lieutenant's leg and lifted him in the air, tossing him in the process.

Fluttershy flinched as she saw Ravage drawing nearer to her, then she realized she had a special ability no one else had.

To communicate with animals.

She never tried to get close to robotic ones, but it was worth the shot, "Hello." she greeted, trying to appear calm and friendly. She kneeled, "I-It's okay, I mean no harm." the beast halted and tilted his head, his ears perked up curiously, as if he was interested in her, "That's right, don't worry. I'm a friend." the feline slowly approached closer to her, she extended her hand, allowing him to sniff it, "You can trust me." before he could do so, Soundwave emerged few meters behind the kneeled femme. Ravage saw his master and his previous angered state immediately returned. The giant cat growled at her and Fluttershy gasped.

Ravage leaped at her. Right on the dot, Spike jumped at him and pushed him harshly aside, failing his opponent to reach the girl. Both mini-cons rolled on the ground and swiftly landed on their paws, growling at one another. Ravage hissed at him and Spike growled. Slowly and cautiously, they formed a circle as they walked, discreetly watching the other's steps and movements. Soon, Ravage decided to attack first, Spike receded from his claws, the cyber-panther hopped on him and scratched his shoulder-pad. The canine yelped but managed to grab his opponent by the leg with his sharp teeth and threw him afar.

Ravage stood up and prepared to assail him again, what he didn't expect was for Spike to take a deep vent and let out a powerful sonic bark out of his intake. The strong and loud force of that cry caused the beast to wince and be pushed vigorously far away. His whole body flew into the long distance and collapsed on the rocky terrain. Spike, on the other hand, blinked a few times as he tried to process what happened, "Did—did I do that?!" the mini-con canine asked himself and caught the sight of his owner gaping at him in surprise.

"You sure did, little dude!" Smokescreen confirmed as he grinned and fought the Vehicons.

"Since when do you have these powers?!" Twilight questioned.

Spike shrugged in response, "Beats me."

Although the cyber-cat was able to get up, Grimlock came in running towards Ravage, the dinobot rotated his body and slammed the mini-con cat with his massive tail. The feline crashed into one of the big destroyed boulders, several of which crashed on his tail and prevented him from moving, "And stay down!" exclaimed Grimlock and let out a relieved vent.

The moment Fluttershy saw the big shadow hovering over her, she rapidly turned, only to see Soundwave staring and looming over her creepily. The girl's optics widened in horror and quivered in panic. Out of nowhere, Bumblebee rose above Soundwave and shoved him with his pede. The Decepticon toppled on his side and looked at his nemeses.

Bumblebee was near reaching his charge, unluckily for both, a tentacle appeared between them and grasped the Autobot's arm. Soundwave forcefully pulled him to himself, "BEE!" the shy flyer cried out his designation. The yellow soldier wriggled to get out of the strong grip, Soundwave shortly grew impatient and zapped him with electricity. Bumblebee yelled in agony and dropped his equipment. As he grew weak, Soundwave lifted him to his visor level.

During the process of trying to zap him repeatedly, something sharp went over Soundwave's shoulder-pad and dropped the lieutenant on the hard surface. Bumblebee's gaze fell on Fluttershy, facing the slender Decepticon, servos converted into blades and aimed at him. The girl's frame was shaking entirely, her voice stuttering in fright, "G-go away!" Soundwave tilted his helm and gave her a scary stare, "Please...?" she gulped and squeaked out a tiny plead.

Sadly, that didn't work. More tentacles emerged out of his body and headed for her. Fluttershy yelped in surprise as she blocked one of his tentacles with her blade and sliced the following one with her second weapon. An additional one suddenly showed up in front of her and tackled her to the ground. The element of kindness halted the second the small claw started to rotate fast as a drill and was coming close to her face-plate. When it was no longer than a few centimeters away, Bumblebee grabbed his Decepticon Hunter and formed it as a blaster. The yellow Autobot started to shoot at him, causing Soundwave to withdraw and release the afraid femme. Bumblebee stepped in front of her as he continued to fire, Soundwave blocked the blasts with his slender arms. Suddenly, the claws of his tentacles were directed at the lieutenant.

"Behind me!" Bumblebee alerted her the instant Soundwave shot laser beams out of his flexible limbs, the yellow soldier hastily turned his back on him, shielding his charge from the blasts.

Which actually... never came.

Bumblebee and Fluttershy opened their optics and saw Rarity standing before them, her servos spread high to hold off the large crystal shield in front of her, blocking the Decepticon's beams, "We've got your backs, darlings." Rarity winked, Knock Out arrived next to her and snatched his staff, facing the slender robot. Several Vehicon soldiers showed up from Soundwave's both sides.

While Smokescreen was fighting the drones, Pinkie examined her arms, "Hmm, I wonder..." she thought to herself. Unexpectedly, her servos formed into party cannons for less than a second, the element of laughter stared at them in excitement, "Neat!" her attention went to one of the Vehicons who was shooting at Smokescreen. Out of nowhere, a grinning Pinkie Pie popped out in front of his visor, startling the poor robot. Her whole figure was hanging upside down, she placed a party hat on top of his helm and yelled, "HAPPY BIRTHDAY!"

The Vehicon looked at her and responded in delight, "Aww, thanks! That's very—! Wait. But today it's not my—!" she pointed her arm at him, once she fired, all of the soldiers screamed and flew from the powerful blast of colorful confetti and sprinkles. The still-smiling party girl hopped on her pedes and proudly blew the smoke out of her cooling-down cannon.

As Optimus and the rest struggled to fight the Vehicons and the three Decepticon commanders, Sunset glanced at her hands, "Come on, give me something! Anything!" she shook them as if she expected to transform into some sort of weapons like her friends', but nothing came out, they made it look so easy, "Why it's not working?!" she was growing frustrated.

"Try to think of someone you want to protect!" Rainbow suggested from afar, dodging Starscream's hits. Soon, he became annoyed and focused his missile on his two opponents, Rainbow saw Soundwave was attacking her friends and took advantage while he was distracted. She had a plan, "I'm right here, creep!" she waved her hands in the air, trying to grab Starscream's attention. The moment he launched his ammo, she moved out of the way and called out, "Yo, Slendy!" to her surprise, Soundwave peered at her and the projectile blew up the instant it touched his frame, causing the slim 'Con and the troops to be blown away by the explosion. Thankfully, the Autobot members promptly hid behind Rarity's crystal shield.

Starscream's optics grew wide and his wings lowered in horror, seeing the damage he had done. Soundwave was probably going to kill him later for that. The seeker began to walk backward until he was punched on the side of his face-plate by Applejack and fell on the dirt with an agonizing pain, "Goin' somewhere, flyer boy?"

Sunset observed her arms and gave Rainbow's advice a try, she shut her eyes and concentrated.

Her friends, Optimus, the whole Autobot team, her home. They were her home. And they meant a lot to her. She wanted to help somehow! She cared for them more than anything and she wasn't going to lose anyone.

Not now, not ever.

All of a sudden, she opened her optics and a strange tingling feeling went through her entire arm. Surprisingly for her, her servo vanished out of her sight and finally transformed. The girl gasped and smiled, "Oh, now this is something else."

During the ongoing heated clash, Twilight saw how Shockwave was trying to escape. As the scientist steadily attempted to retreat, a giant boulder hovered ahead of him and blocked his path. The one-eyed Cybertronian turned around and saw Twilight, her hand facing him, magic floating over her digits, "You are not going anywhere." she told him, hatred in her tone.

"Not yet." Shockwave corrected, positioning his cannon at her. She gasped and rapidly threw herself further from the purple energetic blast but it didn't stop the Decepticon from continuing to shoot at her.

Arcee saw how her charge was in trouble, "Kid!" and ran to her. Twilight levitated one of the huge destroyed rocks and tossed it at him, Shockwave blew it up in smaller parts, while doing so, Twilight jumped and hit him in the chassis with her pede, causing him to trip back. Without noticing the blue femme, Arcee leaped and delivered a hard kick on his helm. The Decepticon stumbled and Twilight took the opportunity to lift another large stone. However, the cyclops grappled her by the wing and shoved her onto the ground, "No!" Arcee shouted and sprinted to her. Unfortunately, Shockwave quickly slammed her away with his cannon.

Twilight struggled to get out of his grip, the canon lightened up, Shockwave spoke out his last words to her, "Farewell, organic." the element of magic shut her optics, prepared to be determined out of existence. Before he could blow her up to bits, a large beaming jet of fire obtained his single eye and frame. The burning sensation was so strong it got through his Cybertronian armor. Shockwave yelled, surrounded by the unbearable heat. He covered his helm and eye, allowing Twilight to evade. Steam arose out of his heated-up plating. To a dim red, to a bright cherry red, to an even brighter yellow. He became weak and sharply dropped his powerless body on the hard terrain, entirely overheated.

The fire stopped, Twilight looked at the person who did it, and it was Sunset Shimmer, holding her flamethrower in the air to cool down and forewarned, "No one messes with my friends." although she couldn't see the enormous anger that had grown inside Shockwave, he got up and attempted to attack her, tragically for him, Optimus grabbed his ammunition belt and formed his servo into a fist. Before the scientist even knew it, his red optic got cracked by the Prime's powerful hard punch. A heavy tortured cry escaped from the cyclops and fell on his back, completely defeated.

The transformed humans and the Autobots drew near him, Sunset spoke up, "It's over, Shockwave. You and your entire crew lost. You have no other choice but to surrender."

An opening portal was heard and everyone glanced aside only to see an injured Soundwave taking the damaged Laserbeak and attaching him to his chest-plate. Ravage limped to his master and snarled at the rest, "He is getting away!" notified Strongarm, before the team could get to him Soundwave disappeared through the portal with his mini-cons.

"Scrap!" Bumblebee cursed as he vanished out of their sight. Just then, they caught the sound of distant metal-heeled pedes and saw Starscream taking several steps back.

"Starscream... what do you think you are doing...?" Shockwave raised his cracked optic and stared at him.

The seeker grinned and bowed, "My sincere apologies, Shockwave." subsequently, he transformed into his jet mode and hovered above the surface, "It was a pleasure doing business with you, unfortunately, this is where our ways depart. Take care!"

Once he saw how the winged mech flew towards the night starry sky and left him not for the first time, Shockwave let out a powerful shout, "STARSCREAM!"

Rainbow bawled in anger at the runaway, "Hey! Come back here, you coward! I'm not finished wi--!"

Before she could get the chance to run after him, Sunset put a servo on her shoulder-pad to stop her, "Leave him, Dash. I have the unlikely feeling we will see each other again." Rainbow let out a small mumble of annoyance but listened.

Strongarm grabbed the weak betrayed Decepticon and put both of his arm-cannon and servo on his back, lifting him up, "I am placing you under arrest."

"You've been waiting all day to say it, huh?" Sideswipe quizzed, slight mockery in his voice.

The cadet rolled her optics at his comment, "Oh, shut up."

Sunset smiled at the Cybertronians, relieved all of her old and new friends were safe and alive. She was more than glad the fight was finally over.

Abruptly, her whole vision became strange.

Optimus detected the girl who held her forehelm, before she could lose balance and collapse, the Prime caught her in his arms. He noticed how the bright blue light of her optics started to flicker, Sunset looked at him worryingly, her HUD flaring with multiple incomprehensible errors, voice glitching as she asked, "W̷-̷W̴h̷a̶t̶'̴s̵ ̸h̷a̷p̸p̴e̸n̵i̶n̷g̶?̷"

Soon, her friends felt strange as well,
