"Sunset...?"

The Prime stared in disbelief at the shadow figure.

He took a step.

And another one.

As he approached at a slow pace, something seemed off the more he came closer to her. Just then, he halted when he caught the sight of her appearance more clearly. Every Autobot gaped in shock at the girl.

"O-Optimus? Is that you?" she asked, observing the Prime with squinted eyes. After that, she noticed how the other giants were watching her in alarm with their neon blue optics, "Why is everyone--" she winced as she tried to get up on her knees, "--staring at me like that?" she grimaced the second she touched her head that ached so much.

But something wasn't right...

She felt...

Metal.

Confusion and anxiety spread across her mind. Her focus was strange, it seemed like she was watching through a transparent display that presented a weird form of data with weird symbols on it.

They seemed familiar.

Her arm, it was all covered in smooth armor, with a mixture of red, yellow and orange colors. She had a servo instead of a normal organic hand. The female inspected her body, the same finish all over her. Even the ground seemed further from her vision than before.

Was she taller?

Her hands touched her face, it was all smooth metal.

"Sunset," the Autobot leader carefully walked up to her, "It is alright." he said in a calm and reassuring tone.

"W-What's going on?!" she questioned in fear as she looked around and saw a large Energon crystal that had fallen next to her.

She became entirely speechless when she was her reflection.

Sunset Shimmer was no longer a human.

She has become...

A Cybertronian.

"Young one." the Prime spoke softly, he kneeled to his charge and placed his servo on her shoulder-pad.

"I'm- I'm a..." she stuttered, her poor scared blue optics staring at her reflection in disbelief, not being able to assimilate the situation, wondering if this whole thing was even real.

He gently placed his other hand on her cheek to pull her out of the trance, her attention turned to him, "We will find a way to resolve this." promised Optimus, watching her with a tender expression. The frightened teenager quickly shut her eyes and threw the biggest hug she has ever given. The Prime became surprised for an instant but swiftly relaxed, he felt her tiny digits clinging to his frame, her form quivering. Optimus wrapped his arms around her metal body protectively, gently stroking her helm to soothe her down. He held her tight in his stronghold, he was afraid of losing her again. She was too dear to him, "You are safe now. I'm here."

During that moment, more voices were heard behind the robot girl. Optimus, Sunset and everyone else glanced at the rocks that moved and fell from several sides. Each one of them stood completely frozen and speechless at the figures who arose before them.

"...girls?" Sunset spoke in a whisper.

A loud excruciating groan escaped from the element of loyalty, "Man... I'm getting really tired of these headaches recently..." Rainbow mumbled in annoyance as she stroked her helm.

...

Wait a minute--

She stopped moving and glanced at her hand, "Whoa--" she had a mixture of white, blue scheme with yellow lightning bolts. Two pairs of wings on her back, big and small, blue optics and a rainbow-colored helm, "...am I still knocked out or--?"

Hearing a gasp behind her, she peeked aside and spotted the fashionista. Tires attached to her legs and back, diamond-shaped shoulders and a purple-white finish with a slight mixture of light blue. Rarity touched her helm all over and yelled, "My hair?! What happened to my precious hair?!" she almost let out a scream, seeing the rest of her friends were changed as well.

"By the Primes..." Bumblebee muttered as he stepped forward.

"This is... unbelievable." Knock Out said in shock afterwards.

Twilight had pink shades on her face-plate and mostly colored purple armor, along with two big and smaller wings. Fluttershy had butterfly-shaped wings, she was covered in pink, green and a little bit of white and yellow scheme.

"What in the--" Applejack confusingly examined her body. The cowgirl had a white-green paint job with a mixture of brown. She also had a metal cowboy hat on top of her helm, two tires as shoulder-pads and another pair on the down parts of her legs.

"Oooh! I'm all shiny and smooth!" Pinkie said in excitement as she looked at herself all over, "And tall too!" she had a pink, blue armor with white-yellow colors, door wings on her bag and two tires attached behind her legs.

They had the symbols of their elements placed above their chests. Although they were turned into robots, they still had part of their human-like appearances and seemed to have similar height like most of their Autobot allies.

The young blue-yellow mech rapidly came through his comrades and shouted, "Pinkie!" Smokescreen worryingly rushed to his charge and gave her a spinning hug.

"Smokey!" she laughed in delight as she embraced him back.

He settled her down and asked concerned, "Do you feel okay?? Is it still you?!"

"Of course it's still me, silly-willy!" she responded cheerfully. The laughter element peeked at him and back at herself, noticing that both of them had blue finish and door wings attached to their backs, "Hey, we almost match!"

Smokescreen chuckled at her happy mood, "Heh, yeah. Guess we kinda do."

It was still the same old Pinkie Pie alright.

Bumblebee went to assist Fluttershy, the mech lowered down beside her and offered his free hand to help her get back on her pedes, "Your wings..." his gaze fell on her back, the shy girl inspected her new pair of metal wings that she has gained, Bumblebee gave her a small smile and complimented, "They are pretty."

Fluttershy froze and glimpsed away sheepishly, her dermas curving upwards. She didn't even realize her wings were fluttering.

Before Rainbow could process what was happening, she was promptly tackled in a big tight squeeze, "Don't ever scare me like that again, you hear me?!" her guardian Sideswipe shouted over her shoulder-pad.

Rainbow blinked a few times in surprise then snickered a bit and returned the gesture, "No promises."

"Dude, I'm serious." he continued as he faced her, "You got me for a click there. Thought I will never see you again."

"Oh please, you are not gonna get rid of me that easy."

He let out a short laugh and glimpsed at her new figure, "I've seen a lot of weird things in my life and this is officially on top of my list. You look rad tho, don't get me wrong."

"Does that mean it makes me 20% cooler?"

"Maybe. But not cooler than me." he pointed at himself with a smirk, Rainbow snorted and rolled her optics at his answer.

The cherish red medic came up to the fashion girl who was examining her reflection all over in distress, "I'm not too hideous, am I?" Rarity upsettingly questioned Knock Out.

The shiny mech shook his helm and smiled, "Not at all." he stepped in front of her, taking her servos in his, "You are as stunning as ever, my dear." upon hearing his kind and flattering compliment, all of her concerns vanished away. Rarity beamed back and gave him a warm comforting hug. It took a second for Knock Out to comprehend it, until he finally melted into her embrace. A sense of relief roamed inside his spark as he kept her close.

Applejack grunted as she got up, after cleaning the dust off her armor and her metal cowboy hat on her helm, someone called out to her, "Hey there, kiddo." gleefully greeted Bulkhead as he waved.

"Bulk!" AJ faced him with a relieved expression and hurried to him, his entire body was lifted up. The bulkier giant found himself in a strong embrace.

Way stronger than Applejack thought, "Too tight, too tight!" Bulkhead coughed out and gently tapped her on the back to loosen up her strength a bit.

The cowgirl quickly realized what she was doing and let go, "Sorry." she grinned sheepishly.

Grimlock carefully nudged her back, "What about me?" he asked as he gave her the irresistible puppy dog eyes.

Applejack chuckled, she hugged and patted his snout in return, "I haven't forgotten about you, sugarcube." the dinobot grinned and wagged his tail in delight.

Arcee speedily jumped over a few destroyed boulders and ran to the element of magic who was sitting on the ground, "Twilight!"

Twilight cried out for her guardian, "Arcee!"

The blue femme enfolded her instantaneously, "For frag's sake, kid. If you're gonna start doing this to me I will have to watch you like a hawk from now on."

"I'm sorry, Arcee. I've never should have gone out, I just thought that--"

"We will talk about it when we get home, not now." Arcee shushed and checked her charge all over, "Are you alright? Does it hurt anywhere?"

"No, not at all but... it feels so strange." responded Twilight while adjusting her shades. Subsequently, she decided to get up. She was now around 20 feet tall.

The blue femme blinked a few times, "Well... you sure got taller." Arcee smirked, she stood up and slightly nudged Twilight's arm in a mocking manner, "Traitor."

The purple girl let out an embarrassed chuckle. Suddenly, her optics widened and began analyzing the whole place in apprehension, "Oh no-- Spike! Spike, where are you?!"

"He is right here!" Strongarm shouted from afar, waving her servo up so the rest could see her. Twilight and Arcee swiftly sprinted to her to help her out.

As they moved several big rocks out of their way, the element of magic kneeled to see better if her dog was in bad condition and whispered, "Spike...?" the moment she was able to see him more clearly, she gasped. He wasn't the organic canine she knew anymore, he still had his old appearance though, only more... mini-con-like.

His laying body started to twitch. Spike's optics slowly opened and peeped up, "...Twilight? Is that you?" bit by bit, he got up and shook off his body to take the dirt off and scratched his ear with his foot, "Why I feel so--" he saw his paws and observed himself all over, "-itchy..." he looked at his owner and their friends, then back at himself, his mouth went wide, "You are--! I am--! What did I miss?!"

The group of the left Decepticon soldiers arose from the ruins of the once-called secret facility. Starscream grunted as he lifted his body from the dirt and stared at the elements of harmony in pure shock, "How... how did that even happen?!" he questioned in anger and bewilderment. He glanced at the purple scientist who wasn't standing far from him, the wide cyclops kept his optic on the changed organics, "Shockwave!" the seeker screeched his name to grab his attention, "Do you have any explanation for this?!"

Shockwave was as surprised as him. His gaze fell on his no longer functioning weapon, "My creation..." the portal was half destroyed, his laboratory completely gone, along with all of his work, "This is... illogical."

Soundwave and Ravage lifted themselves too along with the other Vehicon soldiers. The Autobots and the female teenagers felt the cold glares of their enemies. In a flash, the whole team stood in front of the girls and aimed their weapons at their nemeses. The Decepticons drew out their blasters as well and directed them at the entire team.

"How do we turn them back?!" sternly inquired Arcee.

"You think we know?!" Starscream shrieked in annoyance, "I never thought it was even imaginable for an organic to transform into... our species." he frowned at the elements in disgust, "These forms don't even belong to you!" he shouted as he pointed his missile towards them, "You are nothing but failed experiments!"

The girls' optics went wide at his hurtful words. Their Autobot guardians shot him death glares in return. Rainbow Dash heatedly began moving towards him with clenched fists, "Wanna repeat that?" Sideswipe put his hand up in front of her to stop her.

"That is enough." Optimus came in between them and the grey-standing seeker, his Ion Blasters aimed at him, "You Decepticons will be taken back to Cybertron and pay for your actions and for what you've caused to these human life forms."

Starscream grinned, "You will have to catch us first."

During the heated silence between both sides, the drone army took prepared postures.

Soundwave's distinctive monotone, computerized voice turned on, letting out two simple words:

::DECEPTICONS: ATTACK::
