It amuses me how some Russian documentary claims Baltic States are now accusing Soviet Union in 'quiet genocide' via increasing manufactury rates. It led to the gov then sending many workers from central soviet countries to Baltic States which cause local people losing their houses and incomes, therefore facing struggles to survive.  According to the documentary, it is an America influenced propoganda. According to a Russian with a citizenship of one of the Baltic States, that's precisely how a part my mom's side of the family ended up living there.
