“Ian! [Y/n]! Look.” Barley called, making the teens turn to him.

“It's a raven.” Barley said pointing to the Raven statue that was on top of the gateway, at the cliff.

“The clue on the menu said Raven's Point.”

“Yeah. In the mountains.” Ian said, turning to look at the mountains that were just behind them.

“Hmm……But maybe the puzzle didn't mean the mountain.” [Y/n] said, her brows furrowed in thought.

“Maybe it means……”

“……follow where the raven is pointing. Exactly what I was thinking [Y/n].” Barley finished.

Then he came to stand under the raven, following the direction of where the raven's beak was pointing.

Then he saw another raven.

“It's another raven. That one could be pointing to another raven, all the way to the gem.” Barley said.

Ian gasped.

“I... I had us going the wrong way.”

“Well, I told you. My gut knows where to go. Don't you, boy? Yes, you do.”

Barley said, praising his stomach, making [Y/n] clear her throat, raising her eyebrow at him.

“Oh! Oh yes, and of course [Y/n]'s smart intuition of course.” Barley said, making [Y/n] roll her eyes, shaking her head at him.

“Come on, Dad. Guinevere will get us to that raven in no time.” Barley said, grabbing his Dad.

But then suddenly, a police car drove across the bridge, stopping in front of them.

“You guys...…” Bronco said, and then struggled down from the car.

“…...are in trouble, big time.”

“No, no, no, Colt. We found a spell. If we finish it before sunset, we'll get to see our father.” Barley explained, lifting Will’s top part, revealing his legs underneath.

“Ahh!” Bronco exclaimed in surprise, before composing himself.

“Well, uh, your mom told me there was some kind of……strange family issue going on……and this is definitely strange. But no, dang it. I'm not letting you upset your mother anymore. And [Y/n], how’d you think your Aunt feels?”

“Well, what she doesn’t know won’t kill her right? Wait, she really doesn’t know. Does she?” [Y/n] asked sheepishly.

“No. But I am so close to telling her. Now you get in the vehicle, I'm escorting you home.”

“No. No way.” Barley said firmly.

“I'm giving you to the count of three.” Bronco said, counting down with his hoof.

“Okay, we'll go.” Ian said, taking the keys from Barley.

“Ian.……” [Y/n] protested.

“He's a police officer.” Ian simply stated.

He walked into the van, Barley and [Y/n] following after him, not after giving Bronco one last glare.

Ian got into the driver’s seat, with Barley sitting shotgun, and [Y/n] in the back with Will.

“What are you doing?” Barley asked Ian, [Y/n] also giving him a curious look.

“I don't know.” Ian answered and then stepped on the gas, speeding away from Bronco.

“Son of a...……” Bronco said, chasing after them, but then stopped panting.

“I need backup. Runaway van!” Bronco said into his radio.

“W….what just happened?!” [Y/n] asked with a silly grin on her face.

“Yeah! Iandore Lightfoot, breaking the rules.” Barley cheered.

“I can't believe I'm running from the cops.” Ian said unbelievingly, as he saw Bronco’s car behind them.

“You're not running from the cops, you're running from our mom's boyfriend.” Barley corrected.

But then, several police cars appear at their front making the teens tense.

“Okay, now you're running from the cops.”

Ian swerved the cat to the right, breaking a fence, avoiding the cars.

Barley looked at his side mirror, to see that the police were directly behind them.

“Oh oh. They’re gaining on us.”

[Y/n] looked around, thinking of a plan.

She looked down at her tablet in her hand, and took a deep breath making a decision.

“Barley I’m gonna need you to move.” She said, moving to the front.

“What? [Y/n] what are you……?” Barley asked as the girl climbed over him.

[Y/n] leaned out of the window, and used her tablet to carefully mark the front tire of one of the police cars.

Then, she released the tablet, letting it fly towards the car, tearing the tire, causing a commotion among the other cars.

“[Y/n] what did you just do?” Barley asked, as [Y/n] settled back in her seat.

“You just sacrificed your tablet.” Ian added.

“I know.” [Y/n] said solemnly, but then put herself together. “But that gives Ian enough time to go go go!”

She exclaimed, pointing at a raven which was a little far off.

“Hold on!” Ian warned as he made a dangerous swerve, bringing the van to a cliff.

“Whoa!” Barley exclaimed amazed.

“That was epic!” [Y/n] added.

“Yeah! Nice going, Guinevere!” Ian said, patting Guinevere’s dashboard.

The van came to a stop at a roadblock, stopping by the edge of the cliff.

Ian turned the van around, but then stopped when he heard police sirens.

“Oh, what did I do? I shouldn't have driven away.”

“No, it was great.” Barley said as they all came down from the van.

“Hey, block the road with those boulders.” Barley said pointing to the boulders just a little ways above them.

“The what?” [Y/n] asked looking up at the boulders.

“How?” Ian asked.

“Arcane Lightning.” Barley replied.

“You said that's the hardest spell.” Ian spluttered.

“You are ready.” Barley assured.

"To make lightning strike with ease, one must follow all decrees. You have to do everything. Speak from your heart's fire, trust yourself, focus, all of it.”

Ian took a deep breath and raised his staff.

“Voltar Thundasir.” The tip of the staff sparked, but nothing happened.

“Voltar Thundasir.” The police sirens were getting closer.

“Voltar Thundasir!” The staff sparked again, but nothing happened.

“I can't! I can't do it. We're not gonna see you, Dad. And it's all my fault.” Ian said sadly.

[Y/n] walked towards him and placed a hand on his shoulder for comfort and Ian reached up to grab it.

Barley stared at the two sadly, and then walked back to Guinevere.

He started up his beloved van, and then lovingly ran his hand over the dashboard. He pulled out a tape, called, “Rise to Valhalla”, putting in the stereo, before raising his head to look at the incoming cars.

“Barley? What are you doing?” [Y/n] asked cautiously as she watched Barley pick up a rock.

Barley placed the rock on Guinevere’s gas pedal, and then put the gear on O, for Onward.

Barley came out, and then slapped Guinevere’s rear like a horse, as she drove along.

He then proceeded to do a salute, as Ian and [Y/n] watched the van.

Guinevere drove proudly, as her front side mirror fell off, her back tire fell apart making her start to trot like a real horse. Her front compartment flew open, making all off Barley’s speeding tickets fly out in the wind.

Guinevere went over a rock and flew directly to the boulders, hitting exactly the rocks, making them fall.

Guinevere fell with them in her final moment, and slowly got buried as the rocks came down, creating a blockage on the road, stopping the police cars from passing through.

Barley sadly walked towards

Guinevere’s rear light on the floor and slowly picked it up.

“Barley.” Ian said as he and [Y/n] walked over to him.

“She was just a beat-up old van. Come on, we gotta go.” Barley said, stuffing his last piece of Guinevere into his jacket, before walking off.

Bronco climbed over the rock block, but groaned in annoyance when he saw the teens already on the other side of the cliff.

~One of the saddest scenes in the movie. Guinevere will always be cherished.
