"So, you ready Miss Slyther?", he calls to her.
April hesitates, breathing slow to get calm before nodding.
"Yes, sir.", she says.
"Good.", Professor Knight says, looking down to a piece of paper, looking down for any child description to give to her, "Ok, here's this: "I am a five-year-old boy, scared of snakes and is sensitive to noise. Which scare do you use?"
April thinks a few seconds before answering, even though she wasn't sure of her answer.
"It's a creeping approach and were-rabbit thumps.", she suggests.
"Demonstrate.", Professor Knight demands to her.
At this, April walks behind the bedroom scene's door, and opens it quietly. She looks towards the child dummy and starts creeping down on the floor with her arms and legs, going zig zag. She moves quietly towards the bed of the dummy before suddenly jumping on ground and giving loud thumps with her feet and hisses loudly like a snake. Professor Knight nods, satisfied to what he has seen, and writes down a piece of paper. Some students stood quietly, caught up by attention from her performance.
"Results will be posted outside my office. Next!", he says, smiling cheering to her for having performed even after having felt bad, before calling out the next student to get on stage and giving the name.
April nods by this information, going off stage and marches in direction of her seat to take her affairs. She passes by Randall who smiled at her, winking.
"Good job.", he whispers to her.
"Thanks. Good luck to you.", April smiles back.
As she now takes her bag from her seat and leaves with it on her back, she feels somehow calmer and tranquil. She knows she has given her best to the exams and that it didn't go bad. Somehow she felt peace back. What only budges her is Mike's sudden expulsion from the program. She surely would have thought that he would have passed. Sure, she didn't know if Mike was a scary monster, but he had more knowledge and was smarter than her on anything about scaring. She thought that with this, he might have gotten a chance. To her it's just because of Sulley and of Hardscrabble's broken can, but she was too calm about it and Sulley is just an idiot. So she doesn't really understand how Mike could have been thrown out like that without even having performed for the exams. She wants to see him. Maybe if she does, she can comfort him. So she walks in direction of the dorms and gets up to Mike's dorm. She knocks twice to the door softly.
"Mike? It's me, April.", she calls out.
"I.... I don't want to see anyone right now. Sorry.", he says quietly.
April can tell he is probably laying against the door of the dorm, because this voice was mumbling and quiet, but it wasn't too far to hear. She sighs.
"Look, I'm sorry for what happened. I sincerely don't understand how that could have happened.", she says.
"Don't apologize. It's all Sullivan and Hardscrabble. Nobody believes I am scary. I had a dream, and all of it blew away. Please just go away, I need some time alone.", Mike insists, his voice blank.
April hesitates, thinking a bit before telling something.
"I wish there was a way to get you back there. I swear, I wish to help. I am sorry. But, if you change your mind and want to talk with me instead, if still in the program, I can be at my dorm, or else, just see me behind the dorm building.", she says, not wishing to insist to Mike, and slowly starts walking away to her own dorm.
While that, she passes by Sulley's dorm, the dorm big open, revealing Sulley furiously packing his bags up to leave the dorm. She frowns at him, not feeling sorry for him, since it is his fault full of stupidity to have been kicked out of the program.
"Deserved it.", she thinks in her mind, continuing to walk to her dorm.
When she arrives there, she opens her door and closes it back behind her, letting her back fall on the floor and walks to her bed, laying on it, sighing and rubbing her eyes with her big hands. She turns her head to her clock, revealing the time. The exams occur 1 hour to make all students pass, and from the beginning to when it was her turn, it passed 25 minutes. So there is still some time before Professor Knight posts the results on paper outside his office. So April gets up from the bed and walks to her bag, sorting out her headphones and walker, plugging them together and putting the headphones on her head. She puts some relaxing pop on her walker and lays back on her bed, relaxing in the meanwhile. She slowly unconsciously falls asleep after a while, her thoughts succumbing into nothingness.

Suddenly multiple repetitive loud knocks are heard coming from behind her door. April wakes up in startle by the hearing of these knocks, not having put her music too loud, so that the knocks weren't barely to be heard. She stands up from her bed, a bit sleepy, pulling her headphones off from her head and turning off the music from the walker.
"I'm coming!", she calls out, half groaning.
But to her surprise the knocks aren't stopping. She walks to the door and opens it, revealing a nervous and excited Randall behind it.
"Oh, it's you. What is it?", the tone on April's voice softens.
"The results have been hanged on outside of Professor Knight's office.", he excalaims.
April blinks twice.
"What? Already? But it's-", she turns around to look at her clock, revealing fifty minutes time having passed by since when she started sleeping, "Oh.... I see.", she finally says blankly.
"Want to look at them with me?", he asks, barely staying still on place because of his nervousness.
"You kidding? We gotta see them!", April exclaims, getting out of her dorm and starting to run out, "Come on, let's go.", she waves a hand to Randall who immediately follows behind.
They both run out the dorms and walk in direction of the main Monsters University building, running down the corridor of the professors' offices. They look out to find Professor Knight's office, noticing a big bunch of students standing in front of one office. They look like their classmates, so it must be it. And these students are mumbling and whispering about what they are looking at. Randall and April try to walk through the crowd to get to the front.
"Excuse us. Pardon us. Let us through. Thanks.", April says to the crowd while going through the crowd while Randall is pretty nervous to annoy the people.
As they reach the front, there is a paper list with everyone's names on it plus their results. April and Randall search for their names. Randall is first to have found his. A smile of happiness appears on his face.
"I'm still in. That's great.", he says.
April is still searching for hers, when suddenly, she stops by and her jaw drops.
"I'm still in too.", she says, her hands slowly covering her mouth, "I'm in! Holly Grinch! I did it too!"
She raises up her fists in the air, victoriously, before turning to Randall and hugging him.
"We are both still in, Randall! That is so awesome! You can't imagine how happy I am! We haven't failed! Nobody will throw us out!", she yells out, not paying attention to the crowd looking at them, a few tears in her eyes from relief.
Despite the many gazes, he didn't feel so nervous by being in April's arms. He is rather happy. He gives back the hug, happily.
"Yes we did it.", he says softly.
Both Randall and April laugh together in joy, celebrating their staying in the program. Both didn't really care of any gazes thrown on her from April's sudden reaction. Even if the looks of their comrades weren't the only ones thrown on them. Some other people are watching from the other side of the corridor, behind the shadows.
