Manik's house

Fab 5 were sitting in living hall. Mukti was having ice cream along with cabir siting on L shaped couch with Dhruv and alya were cuddled to each other, while Manik was sitting beside Mukti. All were extremely quite as they were not over with what happened today. Today was the first time, someone messed with there mind and challenged them. Someone showed them attitude today for the first time and initially make there mouth shut. But there trance was broken by the door bell. Manik stood up and open the door. He was surprised to see Mr Verma.

Ma: Verma uncle aap yaha

Verma: Manik Maine btaya tha na tumhare roommate ke baare main

Ma: aree ha..kha h voh

Verma: she is coming

Cab: ladki h !?( whispered)

Muk: tujhe Kya lagta h, she kiske liye use hota h

Cab: tujhe nhi pta..hawww

Ma: shut up. I just hope, she doesn't turn out to be a crazy fan

As soon manik completed this sentence, Nandani entered the house with a smile, making fab5 all shocked. She greeted Verma and turn to fab 5 being confused.

Ver: Manik she is your room mate and Nandani he is manik,

Cab: ( whispered ) fan toh nhi, liken yeh tujhe fan se jarur latakadegi

Mukti and alya who heard him giggled while Dhruv laughed. Manik rolled his eyes. As Verma was busy showing the house to Nandani, they didn't hear anything. Listening laughter, Nandani turn to them being confused but shrugged thinking it must be some inside joke of there. Her eyes wandered around the hall and abruptly stopped at Mukti's arm which was now covered with cast. Seeing that, her eyes softened. She move towards her. Seeing Nandani approaching towards her, Mukti became stiff. Nandani kneel down in front of her as she was sitting on the sofa.

Na: I'm sorry for morning. Trust me I never intended to harm you but seeing you guys ( looking at fab 5 ) troubling that girl made me angry and I..( stopped and sighed looking at her cast)

Muk: ( genuine smile) it's okay. Even I talked to you rashly, I'm sorry too.

Nandani smiled and nodded. She asked mr Verma to show her the house. They started with the living hall only. The whole house was painted in white making it sophisticated which Nandani liked a lot. At the right of the couch, a dinning table was placed and beside it was kitchen. As the kitchen was open, it made the whole area look wider.

Behind the couch were stairs which lead towards upstairs where the two bedrooms were. Under the stairs was again a couch was placed with wall hanging shelves above it. At the right to it, was again a floor length wall shelves decorated with vase and showpieces. Between them, there was a gap which led to laundry room.

Laundry room was just simple with two washing machine and few laundry bags were placed. It had a white light small jumer.

Nandani was impressed the way things were placed neatly. She sighed in relief thinking, Manik is not messy instead responsible. Next they move to backside of the house, through the glass door in the living room. A lavish pool was there making her squelch in happiness. At the left, there was a kitchen corner with few stools.

Next they move upstairs, where two doors were parallel to each other and stairs was between them. At the right was Manik's room which Mr Verma was about to open but Nandani stopped him saying she didn't want to intrude his privacy. He nodded, and turn to the door infront of it.

He slided the door inside and reveal a beautiful and elegant room. A bed in a greyish and white shade was placed in centre with a dark grey ottoman couch with furry pillows was placed in front, attached to bed end. At the left was a white table attached to wall with two vase and a candle stand. A while colour floor length cupboard was fitted in wall and beside it was a glass door which probable lead towards the balcony, she assumed. Making her assumptions correct, they move towards balcony which had back side view of the house means poolside. Entering the room again, she notice another door perpendicular to the balcony's one, at the right of the painting which was hanged infront of the bed. He told her, it's the washroom to which she nodded.

Meanwhile downstairs, fab 5 was surprised by Mukti behaviour towards Nandani. When she was apologising, they expected Mukti to burst on her but instead she did the opposite. Firstly she genuinely smiled at her and even said sorry too. Mukti found everyone gaze on her and raised her eyebrows.

Muk: Kya hua !? Aise kyu dekh rhe ho!?

Cabir came towards her and sat beside her. He touched her forehead as if checking her fever. Being irritated,Mukti slap his hand away.

Muk: Kya haii!?

Cab: bas check kar rha tha ki tu thik h

Muk: kyu !? Tujhe main bemaar lag rhi hu

Cab: aur nhi toh Kya.( dramatically) you accepted Nandani's apology and even said sorry to her. It's not normal okay ( turning to manik) manik main toh kry rha hu isse psychiatrist ke pass le chalte h

Ma: chup kar tu aur hath yaha se

Manik pulled cabir off the couch and sat beside Mukti. He slightly patted her head lovingly.

Ma: Muku you don't have to be scared of her. You could have shouted on her, we were here for you.

Muk: but Manik I didn't wanted to. When she was apologising I didn't feel like shouting at her or bad mouthing her instead by looking at her innocent look I feel good. You know, she has a very positive aura around her that made me smile.

All four looked at her being flabbergasted. Mukti is not impressed by someone so easily and here she is praising that girl who broke her arm this very morning.

Muk: ( looking at everyone with a grin) I genuinely feel she is not that bad. We should not trouble her.

Ma: if you say so( shrugging his shoulder)

Dhr: for the first time I'm proud of your behaviour muku.

Dhruv said and move towards her. He pushed Manik and took his place making him frown and hugged Mukti. Cabir grinned seeing this and move towards Manik. He pocked his shoulder making Manik face him.

Cab: baby don't be sad, I'm always there for you

Cabir cupped his face to said all these words very lovingly. Everyone giggled listening to him while Manik made a annoyed with. But the next move of cabir made everyone roll on floor, laughing the hell out of them. He kissed Manik's cheeks. Manik immediately pushed him.

Ma: saale tu mujhse dur reh.

Cab: baby how can I stay away from you. You are my first love ( dramatically)

Ma: tu mere ghar se nikal ( dinning away from him)

Manik ran and stand beside alya, making her his shield. Before cabir could move Dhruv hold his tshirt in his fist from back and dragged him outside followed by Mukti. Manik sighed in relief but he heard a loud laughed and saw alya laughing. He rolled his eyes and pushed her towards door and closed the door.

Ma: kitne kamine ho tum log

Cab: ( from outside, shouted) aakhir tere hi toh dost h

They laughed and left from there. Now even Manik had a smile on his face. He turned around to see Mr Verma coming downstairs. He informed Manik that Nandani love the place and gonna stay with him to which he made a straight face. Mr Verma also added that she is going to shift. Manik just nodded and Verma left from there. Before he took another step, he saw Nandani running down the stairs. She pass by Manik and move out of the main gate. She open the trunk of her suv and took out her bag. She just arrived Mumbai a day before and stayed at hotel till today morning when she got to know about this house and she check out from there. Nandani move inside and directly went to her room. She made two more round like this and took big cardboard boxes with her to room.

Manik stood there being shocked by the way nandani effortlessly picked up the boxed and bag to her room.

Nandani's room

As soon she brought the last box, she locked the door and started looked around.

Na: groot where are you ( looking around)

Gr: I'm groot

She turn towards the table and there was groot, a specie made of wood who has a stiff voice box and can only say 'I'm groot' in different tones, so his language consists of different intonations in one phrase. Groot understand Hindi and English but he cannot pronounce. He is just 10 inches tall which is just equal to Nandani palm but still he seem tiny against her palm. He is with Nandani since last two years and her best friend after Abhimanyu.

From childhood, Nandani always been alone because of her being different from others. Kids used to get scared of her and that's why used to run away from her. She tried many times to make friends and they never last. From the day she started going school, she knew she was different from others. She had some powers which normal human didn't have but that doesn't mean, she wasn't human. She has red blood in her veins, she need oxygen and water to live and like any other human, she also have a heart. But the only thing was different was her brain, her neurons were more active than others. You, me or any other human use only 10 percent of her brain but Nandani can use much more than that according to her need. When she was small, she didn't knew how to control it and that's why many times scared people around her but as she grew up, she leaned to manage it.
