When Aarush's eighth birthday approached, Anna asked Justin to tell their son the truth because one way or another he would find out. Aarush kept asking of a little sister from time to time but they would always shrug it off and distract him. It had bothered Anna a lot and she thought Aarush needed to know the truth.

"My husband, he is 8 years soon from now and you will -" Anna started to speak before she was cut off by Justin who raised both his hand as if he was defeated and ready to surrender.

"Okay, it's fine, tell me what to do, huh!" Justin was getting angrier by the minute. "You know that I love you more than the way I speak and nonetheless to my son, but do you really expect me to tell him that we can't give him a baby sister because I can't impregnate his mom! As I have erectile dysfunction? Huh! You think I will say that, right? Yeh Pagal hai!"

"Sorry for I might have offended you but what I was trying to say is -" For the second time Anna was cut off but this time was by the sound of Aarush crying and calling her.

"Momma!"

They both rushed outside to see what had happened to him because he sounded like he was crying.

"Baby, what happened?!" Anna rasped in no time when she managed to get a hold of her crying child and looked hurt.

"Ma! Am I an orphan?!" Aarush asked sobbing.

"From where the hell could you get the thought of asking that crazy question, huh?!" Justin frowned and boiled with anger making his whole body shiver at the same time.

"So it's true then, you won't answer my question because I am not your son and what you do the whole time is just lying to me? You really bought me." Aarush said while running to his room still crying.

Anna was left with her mouth wide open not knowing what to do. At first, she thought her ears were damaged and she didn't hear him correctly but upon looking at Justin, then and only then that she found out what she heard was all that was said by their son.

She put up the courage to walk to her husband who had sat on the dirty soil. She shooed away the crowd in front of them and asked him to go inside with her.

As she touched Justin, she regretted what her husband said next.

"Did you sleep with anyone to give me the hope of being a father? Let's be honest for just this time and keep all things aside." Justin said with hurt feelings. "And above all, where had he heard all of that? Aaah fuck!"

"Justin, I don't know what you are talking about, but I swear upon goddess Durga and Amba that I have never slept with any man apart from you and I never will."

Justin was relieved by those words because he knew pretty well that Anna wasn't a liar, especially to the people she loved, and in a fraction of seconds, he was ready at Aarush's door. To his astonishment, the doorknob was locked from the inside.

Justin tried so hard but Aarush was not buying anything he said and he kept crying until the very voice which he never ditched, called him.

"Aarush beta, open the door, main yahaa hoon!" The sweet voice of Minna Ma called.

Minna Ma lived five blocks away from their house, and that's why they could get her to raise their child for nearly four years whenever they were away or had overnight jobs.

And soon the door was opened and Aarush ran to Minna Ma without a glance to where his parents were. Without care.

"Tell me beta, what's wrong? Did anyone hurt you? Tell me!" Minna Ma said with a low concerning voice.

"I know you are the only person who can tell me the truth Minna Ma, are these my parents?" Aarush asked while pointing to Justin and Anna.

"Yes, they are. I took an oath to Lord Shiva not to lie to you. But why would you ask that?"

"When I was out playing, the boys of the Anarkali street said that they can't play with me because I'm an orphan and I was bought. They also said that their parents told them my parents died in an accident and they kept me because I didn't die like them." Aarush said all that as if he was yelling.

Upon hearing all of it, Justin furrowed with anger and he was about to go and create a scene on the street before his wife calmed him down.

After saying sorry to each other, Justin explained to his son that he was their son and his parents were still alive which were them. He also forbade him from going to Anarkali street ever again.

Aarush cried trying to be sorry to his parents for what he said and as a parent, Justin understood what his son had gone through being without friends. And to cheer him up, he asked what he wanted for a birthday gift.

"I want a baby sister, Pa!" He said with huge excitement.

Though they couldn't say a thing, Minna Ma understood Aarush well and replied after a few seconds, "Sure you will get one." Which left the lovers beside her gasping in awe.

"Son, you can go to your room and get a rest, mom will come to clean you after that nap, okay?!" Aarush didn't reply he just vanished and then Minna Ma spoke. "You know he is still a child, he can't understand it when you tell him the truth but what you need to do is adopt a child. They have young brothers and sisters for which they use to break your son's heart. You are the parents you shouldn't allow it, and if you are thinking about where the hell you are going to keep that child, I'm always available. I don't have my own children to take care of, they have dumped me years ago so I will take a great look for that child. But please I beg you, there is this orphanage at the Mahul, go and find a little girl to make her your own, God will make your life the greatest by doing so."

They had nothing to say and thus during the weekend, they went to the orphanage and looked for what might help them but there was no luck.

They tried the whole time before his birthday but God wasn't on their side.

But as the day came, Justin received a call from the orphanage which they had been visiting, saying that there is a baby girl who is the only survivor of the fire accident, and she is just a month old.

They jumped up and down with joy knowing they had won a jackpot and they got ready to go take the baby girl.

"Minna Ma, they don't love me. It's my birthday but they are not here and left you with me. What kind of a child spends his birthday with his godmother while his parents are ..."

Aarush was cut off by the loud sound of his parents.

"Surprise!" He faced both of them to notice that his mother was holding a baby in her arms.

"What! You brought me my gift! Thank you, dad, now even if they say you are killing people I won't believe them."

Justin was relieved and due to the happiness he had, he whispered something to his wife and she nodded reluctantly as if she is agreeing with him.

And then not really expected, Justin asked Aarush "So beta, what would you name your gift with?"

"Roshni, her name is Roshni." He replied without thinking much.

The whole house lit up with laughter after he confessed that Roshni was the woman he loved the most from the TV commercial.

Four months after Aarush's birthday, Anna had to visit the hospital when she didn't go through her monthly menstrual routine. She was two weeks late and she was having cramps which got worse each day that dawned.

She went to the same hospital that her husband worked at so she could surprise him after her consultation.

She saw the doctor and some tests were run before she had to get the answers. But before she went back in, Justin passed the hallway and saw Anna there waiting.

"Anna, what is going on? Are you sick? Why didn't you call me?" Justin asked too fast looking her in the eyes and checking her vitals.

"Relax Justin. I just had a bit of an unpleasant feeling in the stomach and so I thought maybe I should check in with the doctor."

"Have you seen the doctor already?" Justin asked her again.

"I have. I'm just waiting for my results."

"Fuck the waiting. Which doctor attended to you?"

"The female one. She is in this room." Anna pointed to the room across them.

"Let's go."

Justin then went into the room with Anna and they saw a female doctor with the tag written Shivangi Jadhav.

"Dr. Jadhav, how are you today?" Justin smiled dollars.

"My oh my, what a pleasure Dr. Solanki. I'm fine, I hope you are as well because we don't see you down here more often." Shivangi smiled back at him.

"Oh, nothing big. Just found my wife outside your door and said I should check in with you to see if there is anything out of the ordinary."

"So, this is the lovely lady that has the whole hospital at their feet! Congratulations Bhabhi, you really went correct at this choice." Shivangi praised Anna.

"Oh thank you. I hope we are not rushing anything but are my answers ready?" Anna said looking lovely as she was.

"Not at all. Have a seat while I call them to bring them over. What was your name again?" Shivangi asked her.

"Anna Solanki."

"This is Dr. Shivangi Jadhav and I request test answers from Anna Solanki's medical exams."

They sat there for a good five minutes chatting about this and that, mainly over how handsome Justin is before the nurse came in with three papers and gave them to Shivangi. She took her time to go through every page of those results and started to smile when she was reading the last page.

"Is there any problem Dr. Jadhav?" Justin asked after seeing mixed expressions on Shivangi's face.

"Umm, double congratulations to Anna. You are three weeks pregnant and perfectly healthy just as any normal woman can be." Shivangi squalled.

"WHAT?!" They both shouted in disbelief.

"Why are you surprised? Weren't you in the knowledge that making love results in pregnancies. Oh wait, this is unplanned pregnancy?"

Since both of them didn't know what to say, they just nodded their heads and turned to look at the doctor with horror filing Justin's face while Anna's face was unreadable.

"Well, I think it is God's plan for you to have this child since you haven't had one in such a long time. But, you can go home and discuss if you want to keep it or not. I mean the mother is healthy and she is capable of having a child. It's all up to you to discuss. I can even cover for you, Dr. Solanki." Shivangi offered.

"No, that won't be necessary. I have a patient who is waiting for surgery after an hour, I'll go home after that and I think even Anna has some other things planned." Justin turned to Anna. "Are you going back to work after here?"

"I took a sick day. I'll go back tomorrow." Anna replied in a voice so low.

"Maybe you can fetch Aarush from school and stay with Minna Ma and Roshni until I'm back," Justin spoke in a troubled voice.

"That's great. I'll see you at home then." Anna shot up the same time Justin did.

"Thank you again Shivangi for attending to my wife. And I hope this will be between us for now." Justin said to Shivangi in a pleading tone.

"I completely understand. Just share with me the good news as soon as you decide. I would love to be your wife's doctor during this whole period." Shivangi shook their hands and saw them outside her room.

Anna was still in disbelief over what had happened back in the doctor's room. She turned to look at Justin but he wasn't entirely in shock, he was angry.

"I'll finish the paperwork, Let's meet at home in the evening."

And with that said, Justin left and went to the reception to pay for everything before he went back to whatever task he was doing leaving Anna standing there for good ten minutes before she also decided she had to go.

With how Justin was acting, she knew it was going to be a long day. And all she could pray for was for the day and everything to be over and her life goes back to normal.

Later that evening, Anna was giving Roshni her milk when the jingling of keys was heard and Justin got in. He looked tired and not in the mood for anything.

"Welcome papa!" Aarush said running to his dad.

"Hello, my lovely boy! How was your day at school?"

"It was good. I have two new friends!" Aarush said to his father.

"Oh really? What are their names?" Justin asked trying his best to look excited.

"You remember Rahul that has a big sister that takes us home, he said he is my friend today. And another boy who sits with me in class, his name is Sid Hassanandani like that woman on TV that we watch, I asked him if he wants to be my friend and he said yes."

"Hoye, hoye, hoye, the new friends' story is hitting a high note!" Minna Ma said as she got out of the kitchen with plates of food in her hands.

"Oh Minna Ma, you are here!" Justin said looking at Anna.

"I came here to help Anna cook. She said she went to the hospital today."

"Oh, and how is she doing?" Justin asked Minna Ma.

"I think she is fine. She just seems lost in thoughts. She didn't even tell me what the doctor said." Minna Ma said.

"I think the doctor saw that as well, she gave me her medicines and said she'll be okay in no time. She just needs to rest." Justin said as he took out a paper bag of medicines.

"Oh okay. Did she say what's wrong with her? I feel concerned." Minna Ma admitted with worry filling her face.

"She has stress and migraines. A migraine is a severe headache and sometimes can cause abdominal pain. Abdominal pain is stomach pain." Justin tried his best to explain to Minna Ma what might be the reason for Anna's situation until they decide to release the true reasons.

"Oh, that's so bad. I hope she'll get better soon."

"Mama will be okay," Aarush added making Anna look at him lovingly and with sorrowful eyes.

The train of thought was cut short as Justin asked Minna Ma to look at Roshni since he had to speak with Anna in their room and explain to her a few things. Minna Ma eagerly took Roshni and finished giving her milk.

"Anna, can you explain to me what the hell happened?" Justin was then angry again. His smiley face was shut off just as he shut the door to their bedroom.

"What explanation do you need? I don't have any."

"What do you mean you don't have any? Whose pregnancy is that?" Justin was then raising his voice at her.

"Whose what is what? I don't get what you are saying?" Anna was angry as well with how Justin was thinking of the whole situation.

"You heard me pretty fine. Who is the father of that baby? And don't act all angry and innocent with me because I saw how speechless you were in the doctor's room!"

"What were you expecting me to do? We both know you have problems getting a woman pregnant and that's why I was at a loss of words when she said I am pregnant."

"Loss of words? You are going to tell me who you slept with. I was a fool when we had Aarush but you can't fool me again. Not this time." Justin said fuming.

"What do you mean by that? You want to say Aarush isn't your son?"

"How would I know? You tell me!"

"Oh fucking great! If he looked like me or somebody else, I would have tried to convince you. But the looks, the temper, and everything, that is your younger form. Unless if I slept with your dad, there could have been another you." Anna said fuming and spitting.

"Shut up!" Justin slapped her so hard that she fell to her knees right at that moment. "Don't you ever say anything about my dad? And until tomorrow morning, I want an explanation and a clear answer as to what happened and who is responsible for that pregnancy."

He then stormed out of the room to find Minna Ma right outside the door. He didn't pay her any attention as he walked past her and went for a stroll.

Minna Ma went inside and cooed Anna. She asked her to tell her everything and Anna didn't hide even a single detail about everything that happened on that day. From the time she walked into the hospital to when Justin opened the door a few minutes ago.

Minna Ma decided to call Rustema and explain to him what had happened and asked him to help talk with Justin about the whole thing. Rustema didn't sweat it and agreed to be there in a heartbeat.

They helped Aarush have dinner and showered him before Anna tucked him in bed. After that, they were all waiting for Justin to come back and get over it.

At about 10 pm, Justin came back still gloomy. He saw Rustema and Minna Ma sitting with Anna in the living room but paid them no attention as he went directly to his room. They heard water splashing and they knew he must be taking a shower. Anna got up and went to their room to wait for him.

After a few minutes, Justin got out of the bathroom and found Anna sitting on the bed.

"Can you get out? I want to change." Justin said with a towel wrapped around his waist.

"It's not like there is something I haven't seen, I'm just going out to respect your privacy. But after you're done, I'll be outside waiting for you." Anna said as she got up.

"I'm not coming," Justin replied simply.

"Then come and tell that to Minna Ma and Rustema yourself." Anna didn't wait for his answer as she left the room and went to the living room to sit with the company.

It took about 10 to 15 minutes before he came to join them.

"Can we keep this short? I need to be well-rested for tomorrow, I have a huge surgery going on in the morning." Justin said as he sat down beside Rustema.

"I heard about what happened," Rustema said in a low voice.

"So, she told you who the father is? Might as well tell me who is it?" Justin spat back for an instant.

"You might be shocked to hear that your wife is pregnant when it had been years' knowledge that you can't impregnate her but we want to assure you that the baby is yours and Anna feels bad about what you said that she might have been unfaithful." Rustema finished his introduction by looking Justin dead in the eye.

"Prove that the baby is mine?!" Justin chuckled. "And how do you exactly know that she hasn't cheated?"

"She told us that she is three weeks pregnant which if you rewind to where she might have been during that time, it's when you had taken her to Taj Mahal. And if it rings any bell, you must know that you were together all the time and if there's anybody who she slept with, that must be you or someone that you allowed her to sleep with. So tell us, did you let anyone have their way with Anna while you were there?" Minna Ma explained and left the question hanging in the air.

"Did you say three weeks? Not three months?" Justin asked Minna Ma looking confused.

"Three months?! Who said I'm three months pregnant? It's just three weeks." Anna cleared the air with confusion on her face.

"Oh no! Oh No! Fuck!" Justin exclaimed while kneeling and burying his head in his knees.

"Justin, are you alright?" Anna asked him.

"No, I'm not right. I'm wrong. I have been wrong all this time." Justin said while crying.

"What are you talking about?" Anna asked again.

"I thought I heard three months when it was just three weeks. I am so sorry for thinking ill of you. I know I was as shocked as you were to hear that we were having a baby but that doesn't explain my outburst and what I did to you." Justin raised his head and you could see it in him that he really was in agony. The tears and red puffy eyes were just a glimpse of what was going on in his heart. "I was stupid and angry that I didn't even know I was making you a victim of my rage for something so simple and understandable. I am sorry Anna."

"I think we should leave you two alone." Minna Ma said nudging Rustema to let him know that, that was their cue and they had to leave the couple to sort it out by themselves.
