---Sky---

Sky's POV

About a week ago Wild announced that he wanted to try and travel to a snow region to collect new ingredients. It is because of that, that we are now trudging through the snow. Legend was the first to complain about the cold. Warriors just said that he shouldn't be complaining because he chooses to wear no pants.

Wind appears to be struggling with the biting cold as well, but he just took out an extra cloak the warm himself up. The others who also needed extra protection took out their gear as well. Wild is wearing his snowquill outfit and gave his ruby circlet to Four. Warriors and eventually Legend strapped their fire rods to their backs while Hyrule used some sort of magic bracelet to keep himself warm. Me, Twilight and Time aren't cold.

That leaves one person whose temperature hasn't been determined yet. Y/n. I turn to my side to see if she's walking next to me like she usually does, but she's not there. I raise an eyebrow and my eyes dart around in an attempt to find the h/c Hylian lady.

I look behind me and finally see y/n trudging through the snow at the back of the group. I stride towards her. Her head is hanging low, puffs of air escaping through her lips. I halt in front of her as she raises her head.

"Y/n, are you ok? You are falling behind" I worriedly ask. "Yeah I'm fine, just..." she shivers "...cold". 'How stupid of me! I should have realised it sooner that she was cold' I mentally slap myself. I place a hand on her forehead but quickly retract it once it makes contact with her cold skin.

'Y/n is not just cold! She's freezing!'. I turn my attention to the group as I open my mouth to say something. "Guys! We have to stop and build camp!" I shout. Time turns away from the group and looks at me. "Why? Have you sprained something?" he asks.

"No I'm fine, it's about y/n. She is as cold as a lump of ice. She has to warm up!" I reply. Time looks at y/n and her blue lips. 'I should have noticed sooner that her tunic is not meant for these cold temperatures' I scold myself.

"Alright, we can make a fire in that cave and stay there until tomorrow" he decides. As he sends Wild out to get firewood, I'm wrapping my sailcloth around y/n. She cutely snuggles closer to the warmth.

"Thank you, Sky. It very soft and warm. It also smells nice" she smiles. I take her hand and guide her to the place Wild is making a fire after collecting the wood.

She sits down on a large rock and I sit down next to her. I hesitantly wrap my arm around her shoulder. She looks up at me. "It's to warm you up even more" I say. She closes her eyes and leans closer into my touch.

'I will always warm you up when you're cold y/n...'

---Twilight---

Twilight's POV

"It doesn't look like we can go around so we'll just have to go over it" were the famous words that escaped Time's mouth and are now the reason the group is trying to walk through strong gusts of wind. Cold gusts of wind too.

Those who were cold already took out the acquired potions and gear in order to keep themselves warm. Some don't really get cold. I just transformed into my wolf form for the isolating fur. Being able to become a beastly wolf has its perks.

If I was still in my Hylian form I would have suggested to walk in formation. The people who are most resistent to the cold in front and the weaker ones in the back. But since I can only make either barking or growling noises I decide to try and nudge everyone into formation.

First Wild to the front and after him comes Sky. Wild doesn't understand what I'm trying to do for a few minutes. Luckily, he's not stupid so after about 5 minutes he gets the message and tells the rest of the group the walk in a line. Like the way a pack wolfs travel.

The Links move and shuffle into places. "Who should walk all the way in the back?" Wind asked with clattering teeth. "I think you should walk in the back sailor" y/n responds with a forced smile. I almost forgot about her. She's been very quiet ever since we set foot on the mountain.

"Y/n, you haven't changed your outfit and it's definitely not fit for traveling over a high, cold mountain. Why didn't you say something earlier? You must be freezing" Time voices my thoughts.

"Well..." she trails of when a shiver runs through her body. I softly push my nose against her hand to feel her temperature. 'Too cold' I realise. I whine and look her in the eyes. Four notices my behavior and speaks up. "We could all use a rest and some warm food. Perhaps we can set up camp between those rocks?" he points slightly south.

"We should be shielded from the harsh wind there" Time thinks out loud. "Alright then, go ahead. Wild could you..?" "Yep!" Wild smiles while taking out ingredients to cook.

I see how another shiver runs through y/n's body and guide her between the rocks to sit. "Thank you Wolfie. You're such a good boy" y/n pets my head after she sits down. 'Good boy huh?' I think while my tail involuntarily starts wagging from left to right.

I sit down and curl around her with my head in her lap in order to transfer some of my body heat to y/n. Her hands clasp my pelt while she gently buries her head in my warm fur.

Y/n sighs contently. "So soft... and familiar..." are her last words before sleep overcomes her.

'I didn't know she was awake that other time when I laid next to her. Not that I mind. I kinda like laying curled up together like this. Maybe we could do this more often...'

---Wild---

Wild's POV

My Hyrule. Such a serene yet sad beauty it holds... And rain, lots and lots of RAIN!!! So it didn't come as a surprise when it suddenly started pouring down while traveling through my Hyrule.

"Why is it raining AGAIN?!" Legend whined. "I told you my Hyrule has inconvenient weather most of the time and we are also in the region where it always rains" I respond. "Is there a stable nearby Wild? I don't think walking in the rain for too long is a good idea" Twilight asked.

"Hold on." I say and look around at our surrounding to find out where we are. 'That Sheikah tower on the left should be Faron tower. So that means...' "Yes, there is a stable nearby. It is called Lakeside Stable" I finish my thoughts out loud.

"Thank Goddess" Hyrule sighs. "Well? Why don't we make a run for it? I'm getting soaked!" Warriors voices. "Afraid the rain will ruin your hair?" Legend snorts. "No, Warriors has a point. If we get too wet one of us might get sick and we don't have time for that" Time says.

"If we run we'll be there in a few minutes" I add. The others nod and we all speed up our walking pace to a running one. Warriors and y/n run the fastest. 'I guess they really don't want to get wet' I think.

It only took a few minutes to arrive at the stable like I anticipated. But the rain poured down relentlessly. Those of us who don't wear many layers are soaked to the bone.

I change into another outfit I carry in my bag. While lifting my new, warm tunic over my head I notice y/n sitting in the corner, hugging herself. I walk towards her with a worried expression.

"Y/n is something wrong?" I ask while putting a bit of my bang behind my ear. She looks up. "Oh-huh? N-nothing is wrong just a little c-cold, heh" she smiles while stuttering. My eyes widen as an idea jumps into my head.

I open my bag and start rummaging through it until I find what I need. My hand grasps the object and I pull it out. I kneel down and carefully place my ruby circlet on y/n's head. The tips of y/n's ears turn slightly red.

"I-it's to help you with to cold. The... uhm.. ruby has magic that keeps you warm" I stumble over my words. Y/n raises her hand and lets her fingers run over the warm gem.

"It looks really good on y/n. You can keep it" I tell her. "Wow, Wild thank you" she smiles gratefully. I smile and turn to walk away.

'She's pretty with that circlet...'

---Warriors---

Warriors' POV

"Wild! Get out of that tree!" Twilight yells at the slightly feral Hylian who is currently in a tree. "Huh?" Wild's head appears through the leaves. "Can't, 'm stuck" he admits. 'Oh Hylia not again' I think.

"Where are you stuck?" Sky questions as he walks closer. "I think it's my foot..." Wild closes his eyes and something moves in the tree. "Yep. I'm pretty certain it's my foot" he concludes. Y/n speaks up "We should get you out before the others come looking for us". "Time sent us out to find some food and if he finds Wild stuck in a tree for the second time this week..." she continues.

"He won't be too pleased" Twilight adds clearly displeased himself. The leaves rustle again. "Wait I think I can free myse- Aaaahh!!" "Cub!". He falls out of the tree before he can finish his sentence. With cat-like reflexes he tries to turn around to land on his feet.

*Thud*

"Are you ok Wild?" Sky asks since his little trick didn't work. He grunts. "I think I sprained my ankle". "Great, now there's NO way Time won't find out wat happened" I put my fingers to my forehead as Wild gulps. Twilight looks as if he's ready to scold Wild right then and there, but he holds it in for later.

"Angry Time is a matter we will worry about later. Firstly, we'll have to get Wild back to camp" y/n takes the lead. 'Clever. Focussing on the task at hand' I think to myself.

"He can lean on my shoulder" Sky volunteers. Wild nods and throws his arm over sky shoulder for support. They slowly stand up. "Alright then. Let us walk back" Twilight sighs. I nod at Twilight as we start to move back to the place where the rest of the group should be.

When we arrived it was almost nightfall. As expected, Time is far from happy, luckily he quickly drops the subject to let Hyrule work his magic on Wild. With Hyrule taking care of Wild and Sky trying his best to make dinner out of the few food items we scavenged, I am alone with y/n.

"Hey, you want to sit over there" I ask her randomly. "Sure" she replies and starts walking. 'Ok Link, that was a brilliant question' I think sarcastically.

"This is a good spot you chose. You can see the sunset from here, look!" she points west. There I see the sun slowly sinking into the trees. 'Apparently it wasn't so stupid to ask her to sit down here' I reconsider.

"I really like sunsets but it's always so cold. You can just feel the warmth of the sun leaving you" y/n hugs herself. I understand what she means. I take of my scarf and wrap it around us. "Oh, I didn't know Pretty Boy was willing to share his Pretty scarf" she looks at me and smirks.

"I would only share my Pretty scarf with you" I smirk back. That answer makes her shut down as she retreats into the scarf. "Are you a little warmer now" I ask her. Y/n's pops out again and she nods. Red tinting her cheeks. "Good" I smile and shuffle a little closer.

'You really are the only one I would share my scarf with y/n'

To be continued...
