Liam's pov

Today we are filming drag me down I have just finished filming my space 'training' scene. I am trying to get off the exercise bike but I forgot that my left foot is strapped to the pedals. As I try to get off I fall and hurt my ankle since my foot is at a weird angle. I feel it snap. I bite my lip hard enough to taste blood to not make any noise of pain. The people who are helping us help me back on the bike and they unstrap my foot from the pedal. One of them says "Are you alright?" I nod and another one says "Stop biting your lip. You are going to make it bleed in a minute." Harry comes over to me and pulls my lip out of my mouth. I bring my finger to my mouth and I bite down on it to not make a noise of pain. Harry pulls my finger out of my mouth and I hide my face in his shoulder and I whimper

Harry's pov just before he goes over to Liam

I see Liam fall as he gets off the exercise bike and I see the people help him back on and unstrap his foot. I notice that he is biting his lip and I know he is in pain. I walk over to him and gently pull his lip from between his teeth. He instantly starts to bite his finger so he doesn't make any noise of pain. I gently pull his finger from his mouth and he instantly buries his face in my shoulder and he whimpers. I gently rub his back and say "Where does it hurt babe?" Liam responds quietly sounding like he is in pain "My ankle" I nod and say "Do we need to stop filming?" Liam shakes his head and says "We have almost finished getting every shot we need I will be fine." I nod and say "If you are sure Liam but I think we should stop. You are in pain" Liam nods and says getting off the bike "I don't want to disappoint the fans. We need to get this music video done"

Once we finish the video and the director yells "That's a wrap" Liam instantly falls to the ground with tears slowly falling down his face. I run over to him and I pull him so his head is on my lap. I say to him "I told you we should have stoped filming" Niall and Louis comes over and Niall asks "Is Liam alright?" I shake my head and respond "He says his ankle hurts. He fell off the exercise bike earlier but his foot was still in the foot holds so his foot was at a weird angle." Both of them nod and Louis says "Let's get him to the dressing room and we can get his shoe off and get him to a hospital there is no way that he should be in that much pain" I nod and Louis and Niall gently lift Liam to his feet taking all of his weight as I get up. I go over to them and gently lift Liam in my arms and I carry him to the dressing room.

When we get to the dressing room I sit Liam on my lap and Louis says "Let's get this boot off that might help the pain a little" I know Liam is going to want to bite something so I say "Wait Lou. I grab Liam's jumper and I say to Liam "If you want to bite something then bite your jumper it will not hurt you more" Liam nods and puts the jumper in his mouth. I nod to Louis and Niall and I take one of each of Liam's hands for him to squeeze. Louis starts to gently untie Liam's shoe Liam bites down on the jumper and squeezes both mine and Niall's hands tightly as tears roll down his face.

Louis gently manages to take off Liam's boot and he gently takes off Liam's sock. We all gasp because Liam's left ankle is triple the size of what it should be. I say to Liam "No wonder why your ankle hurts so much babe" Liam looks at his ankle and he buries his face in my chest and he starts sobbing hard. I gently rub his back and Louis gently touches his ankle and Liam screams in pain. Louis instantly takes his hand off Liam's ankle Niall says to me "We'll go let Paul know that we need to get Liam to a hospital ASAP. You are probably the best person to calm him down" I nod and Louis says "I'm sorry Liam. I really didn't mean to hurt you" I nod and say "He knows Lou." Louis nods and leaves the dressing room with Niall.

I gently rub his back and I hum a gentle tune to him and soon he is only whimpering with the occasional hiccup looking exhausted on my lap. I say to him "Let's get you into some comfy clothes then we will go and get your ankle checked out" Liam nods and I help him out of his clothes that we borrowed for the music video and into his own clothes. I say to him "Let me get changed then we can be off" Liam nods and I quickly get changed back into my own clothes. I say to him "Do you want to walk?" He instantly shakes his head and I nod and gently pick him up. He instantly wraps his arms tightly around my neck and I gently carry him to the van.

I put Liam in a seat and I strap him in. I quickly sit down and strap myself in and Liam leans on my shoulder. Louis says "How is he now?" I respond "Still in pain but much calmer than he was before." Both Louis and Niall nods and Niall says "That's good" I nod and say "Yeah" Paul asks  "Are we ready to go boys?" I nod and say "Did Louis and Niall tell you what happened?" Paul nods and we all start driving to the hospital.

Once we get to the hospital I am the only one that went in with Liam. Paul is taking Niall and Louis to the hotel and then picking us up after. I have already signed Liam in and we have been taken to a privet room and Liam is curled up on my lap again. I have never seen him like this. He is in so much pain that even the slightest movement or pressure really hurts him and his ankle is more swollen than it was when we left. We are waiting another half an hour before a doctor walks in and says "Hello boys. How may I help you tonight?" I say "Liam had quite the fall earlier. He didn't realise that his foot was still attached to the exercise bike and he tried to get off but fell and he has really hurt his ankle" the doctor nods and asks "Liam can I have a look at your ankle please?" I gently help Liam to lift his leg and the doctor has a look at his ankle and says "That is most definitely broken. Liam could I have a feel around your ankle?" Liam shakes his head and whimpers. I take both of Liam's hands and say "Squeeze if it hurts Liam" Liam nods and the doctor gently touches around Liam's ankle. Liam whimpers but is too exhausted to make to much noise and he squeezes my hands tightly. The doctor says "We will need an X-ray to see how broken his ankle is. His ankle is definitely broken though" I nod.

After the x-ray still Harry's pov

Liam is pretty much asleep on my lap. He is so exhausted he can barely keep his eyes open. The doctor comes in and says "He will need surgery to fix his ankle. Have you eaten anything?" I shake my head and say "We haven't eaten anything since lunch time" the doctor nods and says "We will get Liam down for the surgery now then." I nod and Liam looks up at me terrified and still looking exhausted. The doctor says "You can come down to the room but you will have to leave him just outside the door then come back up here" I nod and I gently take Liam's hand.

We go down to just outside the operating room and I say to Liam "You'll be alright babe." I gently kiss him on the forehead and say "Love you babe" Liam gently says back "Love you too" I say to him "See you when you are out" I leave Liam in the hands of the doctors and I go up into the waiting room.

I have a look on my phone and see I have got three missed calls from Niall, Louis and Paul. Just before I can ring one back I get a call from Niall. I answer the phone and say "Hello." Niall says "Oh you finally answer" I respond "Sorry my phone was on silence in my bag." Niall laughs and says "I'm only kidding with you. We are just wondering how Liam is doing." I respond "He is down in surgery. His ankle is really broken poor lad was so terrified" Louis asks "Did you get to go down with him?" I respond "Yeah but I had to leave him at the doors. I don't think he was to happy about it. He looked like he would burst into tears when I left him" Niall says "Poor Li hopefully he will be out of surgery soon. Keep us updated on any information" I respond "I will Ni don't worry to much" Louis asks "Are you telling us not to worry to much or yourself?" I respond "A bit of both to be honest" Louis says "He will be fine Haz. He is strong he will pull through" I nod and say "I better go. Just in case there is any information on Liam" both Niall and Louis say "Alright. Bye" I say "Bye" the call ends and I sit and wait for Liam's name to be called

About two hours later still Harry's pov

Liam's name has just been called and I go over to his doctor and say "How is he?" The doctor says "The surgery went well. He is in a cast which he will need to wear for 10 weeks since his ankle was so broken." I nod and ask "Can I go and see him?" The doctor nods and says "He is still asleep at the moment though" I nod and the doctor takes me to his room. I sit on the chair by his bed and wait for him to wake up. I take a picture of Liam asleep and then the cast on his ankle and I send it to the group chat saying 'Li is out of surgery. He is currently still asleep though. He needs the cast on for 10 weeks'

A couple of minutes later Liam starts groaning in his sleep. I gently take his hand and say "Hey babe open your lovely brown eyes for me" Liam slowly opens his eyes and says sleepily "Hazza" I say "I'm here babe I promise" he looks over at me and smiles sleepily and asks "Did I get my surgery?" I nod and say "You have a cast on your ankle" I smile at him and he looks down and says "My foot has been eaten" I laugh slightly and say "Babe that's your cast." I text the boys saying 'Liam is awake and he is very confused. It's so cute' Louis responds 'Great he is awake' Niall responds 'Get some videos Harry.' I respond 'Will do.'

I start to record Liam as he says sleepily "Haz" I look at him and ask "What is it Li? Are you in pain?" Liam shakes his head and asks "Where am I?" I respond "You are at the hospital babe" Liam asks "Why?" I respond "You broke your ankle. You needed surgery to fix your ankle" he responds whilst rubbing his eyes "Why?" He looks down at his foot and says "What's that?" I ask "What's what Liam?" Liam responds pointing to his cast "That on my leg." I say "It's your cast so your ankle can heal" Liam nods sleepily and says "Hazza cuddle me" I nod and turn off the recording. I get into bed next to Liam and allow him to cuddle into me. He is soon asleep

A few weeks later no one's pov

Liam got his cast off after 10 weeks and he felt much better and he thanked Harry and the rest of the boys for taking care of him whilst he was in his cast
