At first everything feels warm. Like the sun's rays bathed you in warmness and compassion. Then you feel...wet? Your eyes slowly open and you can hear gasps in front of you. Your vision slowly adjusted itself before revealing who or what's in front of you. There are two figures in front of you who slowly reveal themselves to be Shinobu and Aoi. Both of them have their eyes widened and their jaws dropped.

You also noticed both of them have their sleeves rolled up to their elbows and are holding a wet rag. Why are they holding a wet rag? On your left is a basin that is filled with soapy water. That is when it dawns on you that your titties are out and exposed to them. "Aaaahhhhh!" You shrieked.

Aoi also screams in fright, dropping her rag and the basin. You hear someone cooing gleefully and Nezuko comes running towards you with her arms stretched out. Your body jolts up and you scramble to put a blanket over yourself. She's too young to be seeing boobies! Just as Nezuko was about to reach your bedside, she slips on the water from the floor and crashes onto Aoi. The pigtailed girl yelps and is knocked unconscious. A bunch of Inosuke's boar mask faces fly around her as her eyes spin around.

Nezuko slowly gets back up while rubbing the back of her head. She then sees you awake and covering your top half with a blanket and she goes back to squealing with glee. She was about to run when her foot caught the rag and she came crashing down. Like Aoi, Nezuko is knocked unconscious with her eyes spinning around.

"Oh my!" Shinobu gasped. One would think she's worried about the girls, but you can see her trying to hold back her laughter by covering her mouth.

"I didn't mean for any of that to happen! I just didn't want anyone to see my bare chest!" You apologized.

"Not see your bare chest? Oh (Y/N) chan, there's no need to be embarrassed. We're all girls here. And besides, Aoi and I have already seen you naked for the past five days." Shinobu assured you.

Shinobu has seen you naked before? For five days?! Your entire body burns red with humiliation while subconsciously making yourself smaller. You never imagined being bathed at this age by someone else.

Wait a minute!

Did Shinobu say "the past five days" to you? Your eyes widened and you grabbed her hands. The blanket covering you slides off exposing your titties again. This time you don't care that your girls are out.

Shinobu walks over to hand you the top half of your pajama or gown (you still don't know what they are). You realized your tits are still hanging out and you quickly put on your top. Shinobu gives you a soft smile as she places her hand on your shoulder.

"I know I already said it, but I'm really glad you pulled through. If you had died, then how would Kanao be able to marry you?" Shinobu winks.

"Kanao will move on." You waved off. Then you remember your friends. "Kanao! How is she doing!? And Tanjiro, Inosuke, Zenitsu...and Rengoku san?! Are they okay?!"

Before Shinobu could answer, Aoi groans while picking herself up. She rubs her head with a scowl on her face. The scowl quickly leaves her face when she sees you awake and talking. "(Y/N)! You're awake! Oh thank God!" Aoi exclaimed while tearing up a bit.

You raised an eyebrow at her, confused since she already saw you awake when you screamed. "Aoi, you already-"

"Oh Aoi, the moment you slip on the water from the basin you dropped, (Y/N) chan woke up. It's because you crashing on the floor is what gave our friend the strength to wake up. So thank you, Aoi chan." Shinobu lies.

Why did she lie to her? It's not like Aoi would kill me if I caused her to fall. Or would she? Nah! She loves me.

"My clumsiness made (Y/N) wake up?" Aoi muttered. She looked doubtful but quickly shook it off. She stepped forward and like she was about to hug you, but instead she gave you a pat on the head. It was kinda awkward, not gonna lie. "You have no idea how relieved I am that you survived. Aside from Tanjiro, you're one of the few Slayers that I tolerate...No screw that! You're one who I consider a friend." Aoi smiled.

Your (e/c) eyes widened as your cheeks flushed a rosy color. Who knew the tsundere Aoi can show off her feelings? Especially to someone like you. "I'm glad you like me, Aoi." You chuckled warmly. You then turn to face Shinobu who is checking out the bump on Aoi's head. "How are the others? Last thing I remember was Tanjiro and Rengoku san were badly injured. Are they awake?" You questioned.

"Kanao and Nezuko came back with no serious injuries, which is to be expected. Zenitsu had a nasty wound on his head, but it's quickly healing up nicely. Inosuke only had minor bruises on him so he's been cleared to train. Tanjiro had a concussion from the wound on his head and came back with four broken ribs. All of them plus the Kakushis, and minus Zenitsu, suffered from ruptured eardrums. And Rengoku san...well his injuries were critical. His entire rib cage is shattered and some of his organs are badly damaged. He's still here resting at the estate. There's no telling if they'll properly be healed. He's lucky to be alive, but if I were him, I would consider retiring as a Demon Slayer." Shinobu shared.

Your breath took a hitch upon hearing Rengoku's condition. On one hand he's alive and on the other, you want him to retire. It's just like Yoriichi said, what if you only delay the inevitable? If he retires, then he'll be safe. He won't be anywhere near Infinity Castle or the final battle. It's the only way to ensure his survival. So then why do you feel so guilty for wanting his condition to worsen? You want Rengoku to live.

You tightly grip the sheets of the bed while biting your lip. The only thing on your mind is to try to convince Rengoku to retire without trying to make it obvious that you want him to. Then you looked around to realize the room is a lot darker than before. That is when you noticed some sheets covering up the windows. Why would they cover up the windows like that.... Oh right! Nezuko! You look over to see Nezuko slowly picking herself back up. Then her pink eyes brighten once again when she sees you awake.

"Hi, Nezuko. I'm okay now." You waved at her. "Glad to see- ooh!" Nezuko turns into her child form before throwing herself at your body and hugs you tightly. To your surprise, your abdomen doesn't hurt from the sudden weight on it. Nezuko begins to loudly wail with happiness. You softly smiled at her and patted the top of her head. "There there. It's alright. I'm sorry I'd worried you." You apologized.

More tears come out from her eyes as she tightens her hold on you. "You had all of us worried. But now the others can be put at ease since you're awake now." Shinobu stated

"Especially your crow. The poor thing hasn't eaten in days." Aoi added.

"Pedro has been worried about me? My poor baby." You gasped.

"Of course he's worried about you. All Kasugai crows are raised to be loyal to their partners. But the loyalty for the head of the Ubuyashiki household does come first." Shinobu explained.

"I wish to see him. I wish to see all of them." You said.

"And you will. Though I suggest they should see you one by one. I don't want them to overwhelm you." Shinobu suggested.

"Mmmm!" Nezuko nodded while cooing.

"I guess Nezuko and I are the first to hang out with you." Aoi teases.

You were about to agree with her when all of you heard footsteps rapidly making their way towards your room. In fact, the footsteps sound like a stampede is heading your way. The door burst open to reveal Zenitsu in the front with Tanjiro, Kanao, Kiyo, Sumi, and Naho in the back. Zenitsu gasped before tearing up. Tanjiro covers his mouth to hold back a gasp while also tearing up.

"Uh...hi?" You waved.

They stood there frozen in place. Another second goes by before they all jump at you. "(Y/N)!!!" They exclaimed. You felt multiple pairs of arms wrapped around you. Not to mention their tears wetting you and your blanket.

"Mhm! Hmmph! Mmm!" Nezuko huffs. She is rather annoyed and jealous that she has to share you. Only Tanjiro is allowed to hug you. Luckily no one can sense her annoyance since they're too focused on you.

"My Goddess! You're okay! I'M SO HAPPY! FROM NOW ON YOU'RE NEVER LEAVING MY SIDE! NOW THAT YOU'RE AWAKE LET'S GET MARRIED!" Zenitsu screeched, making everyone cover their ears.

"I-" You got cut off by the Butterfly girls who push Zenitsu away while sobbing uncontrollably. The yellow haired came crashing down onto the floor.

"Wah! Big sister (Y/N)! I was so afraid you'll never wake up again! Kiyo sobs.

"Why didn't the Gods protect you?! I even prayed for your safe return!" Sumi wails.

"Don't ever scare me like that again!" Naho cries.

You smiled softly at them and patted each of them on top of their heads. "I'm sorry I scared you girls. I'll do my best to come back unscratched next time." You promised.

"(Y/N)..." Kanao spoke up. She looks down on the ground while twiddling her thumbs. She looked rather nervous all of a sudden before looking up at you. Her lips trembled a bit when she made eye contact. Your eyes widened when she wrapped her arms around you and pressed your head on her chest. "Thank goodness you're alive. I was...scared that you'll die. I hate to see you so unresponsive. I missed your smile." Kanao admits. I'm sorry I didn't cry for you, she silently added.

"Kanao...that's the sweetest thing you said to me. I'm proud of how expressive you've been." You flushed. Not to mention you smell like flowers.

Tanjiro steps up while looking tear stricken. You couldn't help but gasp when you noticed he has bags under his eyes and he has gotten paler. "Tanji, are you okay? Why don't you have a seat." You said while pointing at the chair.

"How can you be so concerned about me when you were the one who got fatally injured?" Tanjiro whimpers.

"But I'm okay now, Tanjiro. I'm alive and came back to you. I mean to all of you." You replied.

Kanao quickly jumps back when Tanjiro suddenly engulfed you in his arms. "I'M SORRY! I'M SO SORRY I COULDN'T PROTECT YOU! I'M SORRY I WASN'T STRONG ENOUGH TO SAVE YOU! IF YOU HAD DIED...I WOULD'VE QUIT THE CORPS AND SEEK AKAZA AND MUZAN MYSELF! AAAAHHHHH!" Tanjiro wails.

Everyone stares at him in shock, you especially. He'll do that for me? But I shouldn't be that important to him or to the story. You remembered what Yoriichi said about the Isekai readers. That they're all charismatic enough for characters to fall in love with them...You're an idiot. How did you not see this? You hug him back and he begins to nuzzle his head onto your neck.

"Don't say that. You should never sacrifice yourself for me. What about Nezuko, huh? How are you going to turn her back into a human if you're dead?" You scolded.

"How are you going to save Leo if you're dead?" He retorted.

"Don't turn this around!"

"I'm just making a point!"

Sensing the upcoming tension, Shinobu gets in between you. She totally didn't do that since she believes it should be Kanao comforting you. "Now, now. Let's give (Y/N) chan some personal space. She did just wake up from a near death experience after all." Shinobu said.

"Gah! I'm sorry I'm overwhelming you, (Y/N) chan! What kind of future husband am I?!" Zenitsu apologized. He and everyone else got off of you though they're still surrounding your bed. You sigh in relief that you and Tanjiro didn't escalate into an argument.

"You too, Nezuko chan." Shinobu pointed at her.

"Mmm mmm!" Nezuko shakes her head. She hugs you tighter as a result. You pet her head as you lightly chuckled.

"It's alright, Shinobu san. She isn't hurting me." You assured her. Shinobu nodded her head in acceptance. While you're cuddling with best girl you notice someone is missing. "Where's Inosuke?" You asked.

Everyone's faces looked down as a dark aura covered them. They look at one another as if they're deciding who will be the one to answer. Little Kiyo decided to be the one to speak up. "He's currently on a mission right now. But...he's been training non stop since he came back from the mission. He's gotten so mean to all of us! We can hear him blaming himself for you nearly dying on his watch. We tried to get him to relax one day, but he physically pushed Sumi down on the ground! He's just too angry to talk with." She revealed.

Oh Inosuke, none of this was your fault. I choose to take the blow for Rengoku. I just never thought how you and the others would feel if I had died.

You were about to ask Shinobu if she could fetch the boar when the doors opened. You turn around to see Aoi holding something in her hands. Whatever she seems to be holding must be delicate since she carefully placed it on your hands. The object is small and black with a red tint to it. You let out a gasp when the object begins to move and a beak pops out.

"Pedro!" You beamed. You held him close to your face and nuzzled him with your cheek. Pedro lifts up his head and his dark eyes brighten at the sight of you. You couldn't help but feel sadness on how he looks right now. You can see and feel his ribs and his black feathers look like they're starting to get gray.

"My Queen!" Pedro happily squawks. His wings start to rapidly flap around as he's trying to fly. Tears also come out from his eyes. "You've gotten hurt really badly, (Y/N)! I thought you were going to die!" He cries.

"It's okay, Pedro. I'm alive and I'm not planning on dying anytime soon." You promised. At least not after I rescued Leo.

After reassuring Pedro, Shinobu wanted to give you a quick check up to see if you have any permanent damages. So everyone, but her and Aoi, clear the room.

It's now nighttime and you're heading towards Rengoku's room with Pedro in your arms. That's right, you're walking, not limping like you thought you would be. Shinobu was very surprised that you have no permanent injuries or damages on your organs and bones. You wanted to facepalm yourself for not thinking about the aftermath if you somehow survived the blow. You guess you can thank Yoriichi for that. The only scars you have is the one on your right shoulder blade where the driver's knife stabbed you and a faint looking one on your abdomen from Akaza's fist. Let's not forget the multiple scars riddle on your legs from Rui's webs. At least you're clear to train and eventually go out on missions.

Upon getting closer to Rengoku's room, which you were told Hashiras get their own section, you can hear his "UMAI" with each step. The door slowly opens and what you see puts a smile on your face. A tower of plates and bowls keeps piling up as Rengoku eats the food at a rapid pace.

"UMAI! UMAI! UMAI! UMAI!" Rengoku chanted. He was about to grab another bowl when he spotted the two of you. "Young Dancer! It's good to see you! You have no idea how happy I was when Shinobu told me you woke up!" He beams.

Pedro flies over to the pile of bowls and quickly begins to chow down at the left overs. You pull up a chair and carry it over to his bed before sitting down. To your surprise, you don't feel nervous or become a blushing mess with you being so close to him. Must be from the fact you're still feeling proud of yourself for successfully saving his life. "So Rengoku san-" You said.

"Kyojuro." He cuts you off. "You saved my life and I believe we became more than just comrades." Never mind not becoming a blushing mess. Your heart flutters with joy as your (s/c) cheeks become hot pink. "It'll be weird to call your friend by his last name. So now that we're friends, we can call each other by our first names!" Kyojuro smiled.

Your body deflates in disappointment, but quickly shakes it off. At least I can call him 'Kyojuro' so that's progress. Rest assured, Kyojuro. You WILL be mine!

"Okay then, Kyojuro. How are you feeling? I was so worried about you. I wanted to see you the moment I woke up, but Shinobu said she needed to evaluate me for clearance. She also told me you're not out of the woods since your injuries are critical."

"Shinobu san is correct! My injuries still haven't fully healed yet! Sometimes it even hurts to move my body around! But don't worry about me, (Y/N) chan! In a few months I'll be back to slaying demons!"

First of all, he still has a smile on his face despite his body being in constant pain. You almost respect him for that. Key word: almost. But you hate to admit you're feeling frustrated with him. I have to convince him to retire. It's the only way to guarantee he'll survive. "That's...great that you're still feeling positive and haven't lost your smile. But don't you want to take it easy and enjoy life? You can travel and try new foods. Plus I heard your organs may never fully recover."

Kyojuro gently placed his hand on top of yours and squeezed it. This makes your heart skip a beat and your entire face is now strawberry red. "I admire how you worry for others, (Y/N) chan. But rest assured I will recover! Luckily my lungs are completely fine so that means I can still do Total Concentration Breathing. If they had been damaged, then that'd be a different story." His face slightly darkens and a smirk replaced the warm smile he had on. Not gonna lie, this new look has you completely wet. "And besides, Akaza and I have a score to settle. Fighting him made me realize I still have a long way to go to reach my full potential. I could tell he was messing with me when we were fighting. So after I recover, I will get stronger and will have my rematch with him. I promise you this, (Y/N). My blade will chop Akaza's head off or die trying."

Wow...I had no idea Kyojuro could hold a grudge. Then again anyone would if they get beaten by a demon that eats people.... Still...I need to convince him to retire...But I can't! Just thinking about Kyojuro hanging up his cape aches my heart! I want him to live, but what's the point of living if you're forever going to feel the regret of not getting yourself back in.

You clasped your hands around his and looked determinedly at his magma color eyes. "If you really want to have your rematch with Akaza, then I'll support you." You said.

"I knew you'd understand, (Y/N) chan!" Rengoku exclaimed.

"So how long do you think you will get back into training since I accepted on being your Tsuguko? I'm looking forward to what you have in store for me." You question. On the inside you're beaming with excitement. Sure his training will be hellish, but at least you're gonna be spending time with him. And you'll definitely reach your full potential
