The colorful stars decorate the black sky to keep the bright moon company as the cicadas loudly chirp. You're on your knees kneeling in front of Tanjiro with a serious expression on your face. Nezuko playfully waves her arms with a silly expression to try to get you to smile. You wish you could smile at the sweet girl, but you're kinda nervous about what you're going to say. More specifically how Tanjiro will react that you're from the future. Sure he'll believe you thanks to his keen nose and will smell that you're telling the truth, but how he'll process the information is what scares you.

You take a deep breath and stare into Tanjiro's maroon eyes. Here goes nothing. A bead of sweat rolls down from your temple when your lips start to move. "So Tanjiro, before we begin, I want to ask you a question." You spoke.

This makes his head perk up. "What is it?" He asked.

"Did Lady Tamayo's cat come by and pick up the syringe that contains Akaza's blood? I'll be bummed out if the opportunity gets wasted." You questioned.

"Eeh..? Lady Tamayo's cat? How did you know about that? You've never met the cat when it appeared inside the Tsuzumi mansion."

"You're about to find out when I tell you who I really am. I just need to know if the cat came by to pick up the syringe."

Tanjiro puts his finger on his chin and tilts his head to the side. He hates thinking about the day he almost lost you. Let's see...I don't think I saw her cat since I was too busy crying over (Y/N) chan. Not to mention everyone was panicking while trying to get her heart to start back up, he ponders. He furrowed his eyebrows as he tried to concentrate harder.

"Meow."

Yes! He remembers hearing a very faint meowing somewhere from all the crying. Or did he wish he did. "I'm sorry, (Y/N) chan. I don't know if her cat came by." Tanjiro admits.

"I guess we'll see the next time I see her cat." You sighed. You begin to play with your hair as you think about how to start the conversation. Let's do this. You took a deep breath and placed your hand on your chest. "As you know, I'm not Japanese. I'm American. Well more specifically I'm (ethnicity) from my parents. I...I actually don't belong here." You stated.

"That's not true!" Tanjiro exclaimed. He suddenly leans forward to grab your hands. The sudden movement almost made Nezuko fall off your lap. She pouts at her brother before shrinking to her child size and resumes cuddling with you. "Your blood may not be Japanese, but you are a citizen in this county. In my eyes, you have as much right living here as Nezuko and I." He assured you.

"That's very sweet of you, Tanjiro. But that's not what I meant when I say I don't belong here."

"Huh? What do you mean?"

Aw geeze...This is it...Time to rip the bandaid off.

"The truth is I'm actually from-"

The door slams open, interrupting you from saying your secret. Kiyo stood by the doorway with a smile on her face.

"I found her!" Kiyo exclaimed.

"Ehh...Kiyo, what's going on?" You asked.

"Lady Shinobu got a message from her crow requesting you to head over to the Ubuyashiki estate." Kiyo answered. Hearing that makes your heart skip a beat. This is all new and original. You're pretty sure Kagaya never requested to speak to Tanjiro after the Mugen Train arc. So what is it that you did differently that warrant Kagaya to want to speak with you? "Lady Shinobu wants you to go there immediately!" Kiyo pipes up.

"Oh...uh...yeah...I'm coming..." You trailed off.

"I guess our conversation will have to wait for another time." Tanjiro softly chuckles. Though his eyelids lowered to show his disappointment. You clench your fists before grabbing his wrist. "Ah! (Y/N) chan! What are you doing?!" He gasped.

You ignored him and faced Kiyo, "Lead the way." She didn't seem to mind that you're dragging Tanjiro with you. Let's not forget about Nezuko who quickly gets up on her feet and follows the three of you. She grabs your hand and happily skips while you walk. Kiyo leads you to the front of the estate where Shinobu is waiting for you. She is seen nodding at a crow who is resting on her arm. The crow flies away as Shinobu turns around and smiles at you.

"Nice to see you all perk up, (Y/N) san." Shinobu grins. She then notices the Kamado siblings that are next to you. "I know you're paranoid that your best friend might drop dead after her near death experience, but this will be a private meeting with the Master. Rest assured (Y/N) isn't going to die today. She's in good hands." She assured them.

Though no one got assured. A sweat drop falls from your temple while you smile nervously at her. Geez Shinobu, literally no one was thinking about that. No need to scare them like that.

Both your hands gently squeeze the Kamados' hands with determination. "Shinobu san, I must insist that Tanjiro and Nezuko come with me. Whatever Master Kagaya wants to discuss with me, I too have something important to tell him. And I need Tanjiro to know what I need to discuss 'cause we're in this journey together." You said.

Tanjiro stares at you with rosy cheeks before squeezing his hand back to you. Shinobu stared at you wide-eyed before smiling at you with pink tints on her cheeks.

"Alright they can come with you. But there's no guarantee they'll be allowed in to listen. So be prepared for this." She shrugs.

"We have no problem with this. I'm sure (Y/N) chan will tell me only what she's allowed to share if I were to be turned away. I completely understand the secrecy of the Demon Slayer Corps." Tanjiro assured her.

"Mmm! Hmmm!" Nezuko nodded while pumping her fist out.

"As long as you understand." Shinobu nodded.

"Lead the way, Shinobu san!" You exclaimed.

"Oh...I won't be the one escorting you to the Ubuyashiki estate." She reveals.

"You're not?" You asked, tilting your head. She shakes her head no and gestures for the three of you to follow her outside. When you reach the road that leads out of the Butterfly estate, you expect to see a Kakushi. But instead you see a Hashira waiting for you.

The Stone Hashira, Gyomei is standing on the road waiting for you. He has his giant hands clasped together while holding his prayer beads. Not gonna lie, but you feel intimidated by him. You know he's the definition of a gentle giant, but he is the strongest Hashiras after all. One who distrusts children like Tanjiro and yourself. Though in reality you're less than three years away from turning twenty. You hope to make a good impression since you have a feeling you didn't back at the trail.

"Moshi moshi! Himejima san! I have fetch (Y/N) san for you." Shinobu greeted.

Gyomei's towering body leans down ever so slightly to look at you. For being blind, you're impressed that he's able to make eye contact with you. His bulky hand can crush your head like a balloon if he wants to so it's best not to behave like you usually do.

"Good evening, Himejima san. Thank you for taking the time to escort my friends and I to the Ubuyashiki estate." You bowed.

"No need to thank me. I will always follow Master Ubuyashik's orders." Gyomei replied. "Though I was sent to retrieve you, not Kamado and his demon sister."

Tanjiro gasped as his jaw dropped. I smell blindness coming from him. So how did he know Nezuko and I are here, he wonders. Shinobu walks up to the siblings and places her hands on top of their heads.

"If it's not too much trouble, Tanjiro san is well behaved and I'm sure the Master wouldn't mind if he accompanied (Y/N) san. And if the Master insists on keeping the meeting private between (Y/N) san and himself, I'm confident Tanjiro won't complain." She stated.

Gyomei stares intensely at Tanjiro, making him sweat drop. Then he turns around and stares straight ahead at the road. "...Very well. Those two can come with us." He replied.

"Yes!" You exclaimed, while pumping out your fist. All eyes are on you. Even Gyomei tilts his head down at you with a straight face. Now it's your turn to sweat drop. "We should get going...Don't want to keep the Master waiting." You chuckled nervously.

"Let's go." Gyomei said.

Your face burns scarlet red in embarrassment and you begin to walk down the road. There's only silence save for everyone's sandals making crunching sounds when they make contact with the gravel road. Oh my God. That was so cringe to act like that in front of the strongest Hashira. Tanjiro grabs your hand and gently squeezes it. "Don't feel embarrassed, (Y/N) chan. I am so happy that you care so much about us. Makes me feel like I'm special." He whispered.

"I wouldn't have minded if it had been any other Hashira." You whispered back. "I just want to earn the strongest Hashira's respect."

"And you will. I know everyone will respect you one day." Tanjiro smiled.

"Mmmm hmmm!" Nezuko nodded in agreement.

You smiled a bit before looking determinedly ahead. Depending on how the meeting goes, Master Kagaya might encourage the other Hashiras to trust you. Speaking of the meeting, you wonder what it is that Kaguya wants to talk about? Did he get another vision that somehow involves you? What if he saw you getting kidnapped by Muzan?! You shudder at the thought of that.

"Umm...Himejima san...do you know what Master Kagaya wants to talk to me about?" You asked.

"I'm afraid I don't know, (L/N) san." Gyomei admits. "If the Master has summoned you to his estate, then it must be important."

"Right..."

No one said anything while they walked. For the others the silence feels rather nice and not awkward. But for you all you feel is anxiety. Kagaya must've gotten a grim vision about you. Worst...what if it's about Leo?! I can't think like that! I must stay positive! I am their Savior after all. I must be confident. You took a deep breath and puffed out your chest.

It took about ten minutes in silence to arrive at the Ubuyashiki estate. The first thing you noticed is the strong smell of wisteria. It smells sweet and flowery. Even though it's night, the estate looks so breathtakingly gorgeous. The lanterns that surround the estate illuminate brightly to give off a warm welcoming aura. The pond where their koi fish swims around somehow shows a bright blue color under the night sky. And let's not forget about the wisteria trees. The lilac petals danced around the gardens giving off a sweet scent.

"Mmmm!" Nezuko beams at the beauty of this.

"You said it, Nezuko." You agreed. I'm surprised the smell doesn't make you gag, but then again you do conquer the sun.

Gyomei leads everyone to the entrance of the estate. Waiting at the door are two of the quintuplets. You're pretty sure it's Kiriya (the only boy) and Kanata from Final Selection due to them both having the same wisteria hair clips. Gyomei bows down to them, which makes you and Tanjiro scramble a bit before bowing down as well.

"Good evening, young ones. I have brought young (L/N) san as requested." Gyomei said.

The twins look at you and bow down. "Good evening and welcome to our humble estate." They greeted you. The one with white hair, Kanata, looks up and notices the Kamado siblings. "As the Master predicted, Tanjiro and the demon sister accompany (L/N) san." She stated.

That's right, Kagaya can see the future...sort of. You pulled Tanjiro and Nezuko closer to you. "Oh course they're here with me. The three of us are on this journey together!" You exclaimed. I just hope it'll soon be the four of us.

"Then please, follow us." Kiriya said. The four of you followed them inside their fancy house. Despite the estate looking mid side on the outside, the inside looks surprisingly bigger. The hallways looked endless, almost like a maze. You're surprised to see each quintuplet have their own rooms. With how close they are to each, you figure they would want to sleep together.

Everyone finally reached the end of the corridor that has the biggest doors. If you have to guess, that door leads to the master bedroom. Both twins grab each doorknob and open it. Gyomei leads you and the siblings inside. You guess right that it was the master bedroom. There is a large desk that has a lot of parchment paper lying on top of it. Probably reports from other Slayers. Next to the bedding is two wardrobes, most likely where they keep their fancy kimonos and yukatas. On the other side of the bedroom is an opening that leads to the patio. That's where you see Kagaya and his wife, Amane, sitting on their knees.

Gyomei kneels down behind you, which you and Tanjiro quickly copy him. Nezuko looked a bit confused so Tanjiro nudged her haori to show her to kneel. You realized you have your hair completely untamed. How embarrassing to have a bed head in front of the leaders of the corps. At least Kagaya and Gyomei are blind, Tanjiro has already seen you like this plenty of times, Nezuko doesn't care, but Amane is who you value the most. Speaking of Amane, you can feel her staring at you.

A blush crept on your face when you saw Amane. Seeing her pure white hair tied elegantly into a ponytail leaving only two stands framing her face. Her violet eyes show warmth and wisdom. Her makeup is perfectly placed to amplify her beauty. Not that she even needs makeup. You're pretty sure her natural face is more beautiful than yours. You never understand why Zenitsu refers to you as a goddess when Amane is right there! Compared yourself to her, you're a plain Jane. Seriously, if Zenitsu ever met her, he'll be calling her a goddess.

Stop simping, (Y/N)! Amane is a happily married woman!

Kagaya looks up and smiles at you. Once again you're impressed that another blind man can somehow look at you. You're also glad he's not as sick as he was towards the end of the Entertainment District arc. "Welcome, everyone. I'm so happy my children made it to my humble home safely." Kagaya greeted.

"And I'm happy you're in a good mood, Master." Gyomei replied.

"Observant as ever, Gyomei. I am indeed happy. In fact, I'm very grateful." Kagaya smiles. He and Amane turned to face you and bowed all the way down on the floor. Their foreheads and palms are also touching the floor. Hearing a shuffling sound behind you, you turned around to see Kiriya and Kanata also bowing. You audibly gasped seeing the Ubuyashiki family bowing to you. Even Tanjiro, Gyomei, and Nezuko bow to you, albeit with Tanjiro looking a bit confused.

"I...I...uh...what..?" You gasp. What in the world is going on? Kagaya raises his head up to face you followed by Amane who nodded with a small smile on her face.

"My sweet (Y/N). I am eternally grateful for saving my children, Kyojuro and Tanjiro. You not only saved their lives from an Upper Moon, but you survived as well. Your last mission shows the prophecy about you is true. You have prevented a great tragedy and I'm confident you'll prevent more of my children from dying. I am forever in your debt." He explained.

Tanjiro was about to ask about the prophecy, but decided to keep his mouth closed. He's still traumatized on how he was treated when he was "rude" to Kagaya back at the trial.

You modestly rubbed your arm while avoiding eye contact with any of them. "There's no need to thank me. Us Slayers need to look out for one another. Kyojuro san was willing to die for us when Upper Moon 3 showed up. The Demon Slayer Corps needs his strength if we were to defeat Muzan. I also hope to inspire other Slayers about the importance of teamwork." You said. Is this why the Master summoned me here? To give thanks for saving Kyojuro's life? I'm so honored! Kagaya nodded in agreement. He then faces Tanjiro before looking back at you.

"Speaking of Upper Moon 3, I got a report from the crows that the demon was targeting you two. Specifically, he wanted to kill Tanjiro and take you to Kibutsuji. Any idea on why Kibutsuji sent these orders?" Kagaya asked.

Oh...so this is the true reason for this meeting. You took a deep breath and began to ponder for a bit. I was only planning on telling Tanjiro because he's the main character and also my best friend. But I have the feeling the Ubuyashiki family are on to me that I'm not normal. This goes against everything anime logic stands for, but it might do some good.

While you were thinking, Kagaya is patiently waiting for you with a smile on his face. "What I'm about to tell you will sound crazy. You might not believe me, but I promise you it's the truth. Luckily we have a human lie detector with us." You said. You put your hand on Tanjiro's shoulder and with your other hand pointed at his nose, "Tanjiro here has a keen sense of smell. He can smell emotions and can tell if anyone is lying. So please trust Tanjiro's judgment on this."

"Of course, (Y/N). I trust all of my children. Even if Tanjiro wasn't here, I would still believe you." Kagaya nodded.

Here goes nothing. You take a long inhale through your nose and then exhale it all through the mouth. You place your hand on your chest and stare at the couple.

"I'm not from this era. In fact I'm from the future. I know exactly how everything ends." You revealed.

All you heard is a pin drop. Kagaya is still smiling at you, Amane has a blank look on her face, Nezuko tilts her head before laying on your lap, the twins are also smiling like their father, Gyomei has his blank eyes slightly widened, and Tanjiro...well...He had a blank look on his face like Amane. Then his maroon eyes bugged out and his jaw dropped.

"EEHHHHH!" Tanjiro exclaimed. This makes Gyomei lightly karate chop the top of Tanjiro's head. "Itai!" He winced. Even though it was a light chop, that doesn't mean it didn't hurt coming from a giant.

"You promised not to misbehave in front of the Master, Kamado san." Gyomei gently scolded.

"Gomenasai..." Tanjiro softly apologized to Kagaya.

"No offense has been taken." Amane spoke. Her voice is so angelic!

Kagaya softly chuckles before turning to face you. "I see. Thank you for confirming that a bright future is ahead of us."

This makes you quirk your eyebrow. "A bright future?"

"Hai, a bright future. You being from the future shows me that the prophecy is real and you prevented great tragedies from happening. And if I'm being hopeful, I may guess that Kibutsuji will finally die?"

"You're right about the last part. This is the last generation of Demon Slayers. In a couple of months, the Demon Slayer Corps will succeed in slaying Muzan. The world will be free from demons once and for all." Behind you are Tanjiro and Gyomei gasping. Well Tanjiro's was louder than Gyomei's. Kagaya's smile slowly turns to a smirk. "But there's something else you must know."

"We're all ears, my child."

"I was sent here to prevent tragedies, that part of the prophecy is true. The real reason I was sent here is to save as many lives as possible. In the original timeline, Muzan does get defeated, but at a great cost." You stop to take another deep breath before continuing. "After Muzan gets killed, only three Hashiras survive. And about 95% of the corps perish. There's not that many survivors left after Muzan's defeat."

Kagaya's smirk fell and his lips slowly turned into a small frown, Amane lowered her head down a bit with sadness in her eyes, Tanjiro clenched his fists
