(Another fan art! This cute doodle of reader chan simping for Rengoku captures her perfectly. Plus I love her expression when someone mistakes her wisteria patterns for grapes. This was done by CrytalVein from Quotev.)

It's now the next night and the focus is on the hee hee man himself. Well more like the hee hee boy for Muzan is disguised as a child. He's pretending to be one so that he could have access to his pretend father's company. Right now he's reading a book about flowers. No doubt to find information about the Blue Spider Lily. Muzan was reading when the windows slammed open. He didn't need to turn around to see who it is

Akaza kneels down on the window sill in front of him. Despite his calm composer, Muzan can sense the fear in him. Good. He better be afraid. Muzan saw everything through Akaza's memories. He's also not pleased with the sense of self loathing Akaza is radiant of.

"Reporting in as you requested...Lord Muzan." Akaza spoke.

Muzan turned around to reveal his livid pink eyes at him. Veins also popped up on his face. "Were you able to find what I asked for?" He asked.

"I looked into it, but came up empty handed. I couldn't find the Blue Spider Lily. There wasn't even a trace of its existence." Akaza answered.

"And?"

"I will try to live up to your expectations. Forgive my unworthy efforts."

Muzan narrows his eyes at Akaza as another vein pops up. Akaza lowers his head to avoid eye contact. He knows what his master is about to ask. He knows he screwed up. "Is there anything else you wish to share? Like the foreign girl I sent you to capture? Or the boy with the hanafuda earrings, is he still breathing?" Muzan questions.

"... While I was fighting a Hashira, I came so close to killing him. Unfortunately the girl jumped in to desperately save him. I was too late to stop myself from attacking her. With the wound I gave her...she won't live long. I didn't have time to kill the Hashira or the boy with the earrings due to the sun coming. I'm sorry I failed you, Lord Muzan."

Muzan perks his head up to show his slit eyes and more veins on his face. He lifts a finger and a gust of shock wave hits the entire room, including Akaza. The glass of the windows crack as blood pours out from Akaza's mouth. Basketball face tries not to cough out the blood, but a stream of it comes pouring out.

"First of all, quit crying at the fact you killed a woman. Male or female, it doesn't matter! All humans are the same. But Akaza, how stupid can you be for messing everything up. If you had taken your fight seriously, you would not only kill the Hashira, but the boy would be dead and the girl would be in my custody. Do you have any idea what you have done!? That foreign girl could've been the key to me conquering the sun! I saw through Enmu's memories and learned that the girl is from the future! The future, Akaza! This explains how she knew all of my demons' movements before they could make it. Like how she knew how you were going to kill the Hashira. But thanks to you, she's gone! I should kill you for that." Muzan ranted.

Akaza bows down with his head touching the window sill in shame, "I agree, Lord Muzan. I killed the girl and I must atone for my actions. But if you give me another chance, I will bring you the boy's head the next time I see him."

"I'm disappointed in you, Akaza. This is the first time you've failed me." Muzan said as he harshly grips the page of the book he's holding. "But I will give you one more chance to redeem yourself. All I want is for the Demon Slayer Corps to be wiped out. Squeeze the life of every last one of them, and never let another one enter my line again." He rips a few pages from the book. "It's hardly a complicated task, and yet I am still waiting for it to happen. Now, what do you think of that?" He tore the poor book in half while glaring at Akaza. "You return here after failing so miserably while the Demon Slayers survive the confrontation. Why did you not kill them when you had the chance? And after I made a point of sending you to that location because you happened to be nearby. Akaza. Akaza. Akaza. Akaza." The trembling demon coughs out more blood as he also begins to bleed from his nose. "You have really disappointed me so. To think you suffer a blow by someone who isn't even a Hashira. How far you have fallen, Upper Three." The room is silent save for the blood that is dropping off from Akaza's mouth. "You're dismissed." Muzan waves off.

Akaza slowly gets up and bows to him before jumping off the window. He slowly walks inside the woods with an angry expression on his face. As he made his way deeper to the woods, he threw Tanjiro's sword at a tree.

The blade pins deep inside the tree before Akaza begins to throw a series of punches at him. Each assault is powered by rage that Akaza has been feeling since he fled this morning. He remembers Tanjiro calling him a coward and yelling at him in a language he never heard before. That brat probably learned from the foreign girl he was sent to capture. The sword is destroyed by pieces by the time he is done attacking it.

"Make no mistake. I'll remember your face, and when we meet again, I'm going to savor tearing you limb from limb!" Akaza threatened.

After calming down, he then thought about you. He wants to erase the image of you dying at his hands. He was unsettled at the fact you remind him of someone he can't remember, but also feels familiar too. Or the fact you somehow know him. More specifically, you called him by a different name. You said it in a low whisper, but he heard it perfectly clear. He understands why Muzan wanted you. You're from the future and you somehow learn his human name later on. Which means...you're still alive! Because if you had died then you wouldn't have known his former name.

Akaza begins to maniacally laugh at the possibility he did not kill you. This is a moment to celebrate since a woman's blood no longer stains his hands. The next time he sees you, he's never gonna let you go.

A miracle happened to Tanjiro. No, Nezuko didn't turn back into a human and Muzan isn't dead. You somehow survived the attack. That's right! You, (Y/N) (L/N), are alive. No one knows how you survived, but who's complaining? You're alive! That's all that matters!

However you have yet to wake up from your coma. It's been three days since you got donuted...wait... Akaza's fist didn't go through your body like it did with Rengoku. So did you get donuted? Anyway, you've been in a coma for three days and it's been hell for a few people. They don't know if you'll ever wake up again.

Let's start with Tanjiro. The cinnamon roll took your injuries the hardest. He kept screaming and crying for you to be strong while the Kakushi took you away to the Butterfly estate. They practically carried him away from you so that he could be treated. Shinobu ended up giving him a sedative in order to treat him since he refused to leave your bedside. He woke up two days later and immediately went over to see you. Anyone can spot Tanjiro sitting next to your bed while holding your hand. He even slept through the night in case you woke up, but you never did. The only time he left you was when he took a bath, but he immediately came running back with his hair dripping wet.

Nezuko has never left your side since you arrived at the estate. The demon girl has been sleeping next to you in her child form this entire time. Kiyo, Naho, and Sumi have placed blankets over the windows to protect Nezuko from the sun. The only time she gets off your bed is when Shinobu and Aoi change the bandages that are wrapped around your abdomen and when they bathe you. She is often heard moaning or crying like she's pleading for you to wake up. The Kamado siblings comfort each other when they cry together.

Zenitsu has been the most vocal of them all. He was even louder than Tanjiro when he pleaded for you to live. Everyone's ear drums had burst when he cried in joy upon hearing your heart starting back up. But beneath all his joy, there's anger. He's angry at himself for not being by your side. What kind of future husband is he?! Angry at Muzan for targeting you. Angry at the demon who gave you that wound. But most of all, he's angry at Rengoku for failing to protect you. What kind of Hashira allowed someone of a lower rank to take a blow like that? Zenitsu almost gave Rengoku a piece of his mind, but Shinobu sedated him before he said something he'll regret.

Surprisingly Inosuke has been the most quiet throughout all of this. Sure he cried on the way to the estate, but no one has seen him visit you at all. Though a few acorns mysteriously appeared in the drawer next to you. The moment he was clear from his injuries, he began to train immediately. The Butterfly girls came to hear his grunts and yelling as he worked out. They get worried when they hear him insulting himself and being referred to "the worthless one". Every day they have to treat his hands which became bloody from punching boulders.

Kanao isn't used to these feelings. She probably had felt them back when she was constantly abused in her old life. But she forgot how they felt and she's feeling them like they're draining her energy. Shinobu had sense it wouldn't be a good idea for her to treat you due to her attachment. Kanao tried to take your temperature, but her arm violently trembled which made her drop the thermometer. She feels terrible that she isn't crying like your friends are. She DOES care about you, but she can't make the tears come out. So all she can do is pick out the most beautiful flowers she can find and place them in the drawer next to you.

And Pedro, your beloved crow has suffered as well. He's been sitting by the window sill next to you crying his eyes out. Shinobu had tried to feed him nuts and berries, but he refused to touch them. It's only been three days, but he lost a lot of weight and a couple of his feathers begin to fall out.

Then there's you. The only sound you make is the soft breathing you're making. Shinobu is very impressed you've managed to do Constant Concentration Breathing while in a coma. But that's all you do. You don't even toss or turn in your sleep. You just lay completely still and continue on sleeping. At least you look peaceful. Hopefully you're talking to your brother or at least hear the pleads from your friends to wake up.

If only Tanjiro and the others know what you're dreaming about...Or is it a dream?

You open your eyes to reveal your warm (e/c) orbs to see yourself sitting in the patio of the Kamado house. What the..? Why am I in Tanjiro's house? How did I get here? The last thing you remember is laying on the grass bleeding from the wound Akaza gave you. The Kakushi tried to treat you, but you lost consciousness. Am I dead?

You were about to open your uniform up only to see you're wearing the clothes on the day you arrived in this world. Still you lifted up your tank top and T-shirt to see your abdomen looks completely fine. Am I back in the dream realm? Did I never escape Enmu's trap? No, this feels different. Everything is still animated in Ufotable style. And I'm in Tanjiro's house instead of mine.

You also noticed the area around you didn't have snow and dead trees. Instead you can see the green grass and leaves blooming on the trees. The birds are happily chirping to each other. If you have to guess, this is around the springtime. But this doesn't answer your question on why or how you're here.

"Nice to finally meet you."

Your head perks up and you quickly turn your body around. Your pupils dilated as your breath took a hitch. This isn't possible! Footsteps are heard when the person makes their way to the patio and sits next to you. Your heart starts to race as a rosy hue adorns your cheeks. You begin to play with your fingers wondering why he's here.

Despite the person producing a warm aura, you couldn't help but to feel intimidated by his mere presence. He has long maroon red hair that is tied in a high ponytail, warm maroon colored eyes, hanafuda earrings hung from his ears, a Demon Slayer mark that is on his left temple, a red haori that is draped over his dark yukata.

That's right. It's the GOAT, the father of all Breathing Styles, the one that gave Muzan PTSD, one of the top 5 most beautiful characters in this series...it's Mother Fucking YORIICHI TSUGIKUNI!

You first let out a fan girl squealed before dropping down on your knees to bow at him. "It's an HONOR to meet you!" You exclaimed. You felt his hand on top of your head, making you look up at him.

"You may rise. I'm hoping we can have a little chat." Yoriichi said.

"I...uh...I know you...you..." You struggle to talk.

Yoriichi lets out a gentle chuckle. "You don't have to be nervous. We're both humans after all. I'm only a simple swordsman." He smiles.

"No you're not!" You shouted. You immediately clamp your mouth with your hand. You did not just yell at the Yoriichi! Luckily he still has the same smile directed at you. "What I meant is there's no way you're a 'simple swordsman'. You're the one who taught the Demon Slayers how to use the Breathing Styles. You're the only one in the whole world that came closest in killing Muzan. So don't tell me that you're only a simple swordsman." You explained.

"Well thank you for believing I'm more than simple. Even though we just spoke, you're by far the most cheerful person I've met. Well compared to the others that is." Yoriichi said.

This made you quirk your eyebrow. "Others? What others?" You asked. For some reason Yoriichi looks a little nervous. But it has to be a trick of the light since there's no way Yoriichi could ever be nervous. Especially not to someone like you.

"I thought you knew from the beginning. But I guess the trauma of you and your brother coming here made you forget. Young (Y/N) chan, I am the one who brought you here." He revealed.

A bird passes by you as it leaves dots behind. You still have your goofy smile albeit your left eye starts to twitch uncontrollably. An irk mark also appears on your right temple as you try to control your breathing. Then you remember what your tablet has shown you.

'(Y/N) (L/N), YOU HAVE BEEN CHOSEN. PLEASE SAVE MY WORLD AND BRING PEACE TO THEM ALL. YOU HAVE THE STRENGTH AND WILL POWER TO DO SO. GOOD LUCK. YOUR'S TRULY, YORIICHI TSUGIKUNI.'

Your memories have fully returned. Yoriichi did indeed bring you and Leo here.

"Come again?"

"Let me explain from the beginning. After I passed away, I couldn't go to heaven. I instead heard the voices of the Gods. They told me because I have failed to fulfill my destiny, I can't move on. As long as Muzan is alive, I'm stuck in purgatory."

That's not right. Yoriichi was never punished by the Gods for failing to kill Muzan. None of that should have happened.

"But that doesn't make sense...You never got...I mean that shouldn't-"

"I'm aware this isn't how it was supposed to go. Something cosmic must've happened to cause a branch to split out from the timeline. It's the only probable explanation."

You lean forward with a shock look on your face. "So you are aware that I'm from the future and that you're also-"

"Not real." Yoriichi finished.

"I wouldn't say you aren't 'real'. Just that you're a character in my world. You're just as real as I am." You corrected. "I admit I saw everyone as lines and ink in the beginning. But the more I experienced living here, the more I realized that every single person in Demon Slayer is real. All of you are real to me. You guys have back stories, unique personalities, hopes, and dreams. You are real, Yoriichi san."

Yoriichi lightly gasps before smiling warmly at you. His eye shows a bit of shine when he places his hand on your shoulder. Having someone like him touching you makes your entire face bright pink. You never thought in your life you would strike a conversation with Yoriichi, let alone being touched by him. "Thank you, (Y/N) san. Thank you. You have no idea how happy I am to be validated."

"No need to thank me. I know if our roles were reversed, you'll be the one cheering me up."

"You're right, I would. Anyway...back to my explanation. The Gods explained to me about the existence of the multiverse. The main timeline is Muzan gets defeated, but at the cost of many lives. The people who died are loved and cherished by an outside force called 'fans'. The fans mourned the lives lost that some couldn't move on. The mourning was so great a new cosmic God was born. This new God heard the pleas of the fans where another universe, all those who died live. So new branches were split from the main timeline. However, it isn't easy to save everyone while defeating Muzan Kibutsuji. No matter how hard the Gods try, Muzan will always prevail in the branch timelines."

"Are you saying that the fans, myself included, created a new God to save our favorite characters? I can't believe the theory that anything is possible in the multiverse is real. But this doesn't explain why I'm here. Why me of all the billions of people in my world? I'm nothing special."

"After failing to save everyone, one of the Gods proposes to bring an individual from another universe to be the Savior of the Demon Slayer world. That is when they learn an outside force has the power to live within their own rules and can actually succeed. Some of these Saviors not only saved the fallen and defeated Muzan, they also saved demons as well. Their experiment worked. They have no problem creating more branches to satisfy the fans. Eventually this universe that we are in got branch out. The Gods may have been disappointed in me for failing to kill Muzan, they still entrusted me to seek out an individual to summon. And I have. I choose you, (Y/N) (L/N)."

This is the moment you've been waiting for. The answer to your question for the past two years.

"Why did you choose me, Yoriichi san?" You asked.

"I didn't choose you right away. I've searched for hundreds of years to find the perfect one. I even visited the branch timelines to study the Saviors. That's when I noticed what a lot of these Saviors have in common. One: A lot of them are Americans. Two: Majority of them are beautiful teenage girls. Three: All of them have strong willpower. Four: They're charismatic enough to change someone's mind into loving them instead of the person who they end up with. After studying them, I began to search many universes to find what girl fits all of what I found. Surprisingly, not a lot of girls fit these categories. I was about to give up hope when I decided to add one more key point. Five: An older sister who would do anything for their younger siblings. Even if they have to stand against the world to protect them. That's when I found you. You're the only one that fits all five of these categories, especially the one I created. I felt the remorse you have for not saving your baby sister, Bethany. How you're going to dedicate yourself to giving Leo a happy life. I knew I found my savoir." Yoriichi answered.

His smile drops when he sees tears falling down your face. He doesn't know what to do so he pulls you to a hug as a way to calm you down. With trembling arms, you return the embrace as you loudly sob.

"You think...you think I'm charismatic and beautiful?! I do hate myself for not saving Bethany and I'll do anything for Leo! Wah! You have no idea how happy you made me! If you had come to me, I would've
