I hum a random tune to myself as I walk down the hall.

"What song are my ears graced to hear you sing this time?" Sirius attempted smooth talk as he threw his arm over my shoulder. I heard giggles from passers-by and I just roll my eyes letting a smile rest on my face.

"Your such a dweeb" he pouted but then smirked.

"Only for you babe" I scoffed and let myself free from his hold walking next to him instead.

"You know where you're going for the break?" I looked over as he just shrugged.

"I'm probably just gonna jump around like last year" I frowned.

"Why don't you stay with me this year?" he smirked looking at me and I glared.

"So your not alone and nothing else" he pouted and once again wrapped his arms around me.

"If it means I get to spend more time with you then hell ya! I'm there" I smiled as we continued to the classroom, Potions it was the easiest class I had right now but for Sirius, the situation was the exact opposite, he was horrible! I mean like..he messed up a forgetfulness potion...that's a first years task.

"Wait so we add syrup of hellebore?" he stared at the book in front of him.

"No Sirius you already did that" he scratched his head.

"So I....." I sighed and nudged him.

"You were supposed to add the porcupine quills but you haven't even prepared them, I took the porcupine quills and began shaking them with one hand as I stirred the potion with the other "at this rate you'll burn it" I tisked and he just watched silently, I loosened my tie due to the heat that was filling the classroom I continued to show him the steps to making the potion as he just watched in silence "Sirius!" I called for a third time handing him the vial that contained his...well my second completed potion "go turn this in" he just nodded and walked up front.

"You seem annoyed" I looked up to see Sev.

"Nah I'm alright with helping him with this as long as he gets off my back about every other class so honestly it's a win-win, I get to take a long bath and he gets to struggle" Sev laughed.

"Ya that makes sense, oh by the way I was actually wondering if you were free any time during the break, I was gonna have a small party or something and Lily is the only other person who can go so I wanted to widen my horizon I guess." he spoke timidly and I melted a little inside.

"As a matter of fact she is busy, we will be together all break" I frowned a Sirius wrapped his arms around me from behind. I stood and turned towards Sirius.

"Sirius you know how your the most amazing boyfriend in the entire world?" he swooned a bit.

"Of course babe" I smirked a little

"Then won't you let me attend one party with Lily?" he nodded

"Ya of course" I nodded and turned to a slightly shocked Sev.

"I'll be there" I smiled.

"Wait what" I turned back to Sirius.

"I'm going to Sev's party with Lily and I'm telling you now you do anything to hurt Sev before break then I won't let you come over at all" I cross my arms and Sirius frowns but sighs a slight scowl adorning his face.

"Fine but I have to go with you" I look to Sev and give him a reassuring look, he only nodded hesitantly.

"Alright" I nodded and the bell rang signaling the next 2 hours of break I grab my bag and meet Sirius by the door.

"I'm warning you again any harm comes to him and you're banned from my house" I cross my arms and walk down the hall. He just rolls his eyes following right behind me.

"I still have no clue what you and Lily see in him" I look over.

"Maybe a truly trustworthy friend and in Lily's case a potions cheat sheet" he let out a laugh and I just smiled.

"Fine, we won't bully him for now" I let out a sigh at his half-assed promise but I know he gonna keep his word so I don't much mind, I froze.

"Oh, my goblin!" Sirius spun.

"What! Is it him, where-" he stopped talking as he saw me I was on the verge of tears as I looked at him.

"I haven't seen snuffles in forever!"

"What! where is he! Wh-...what?" he just looked at me in the middle of my eternal crises.

"Snuffles, I want to see him, he was so adorable and fluffy I almost couldn't handle myself" I let out a small squeal "we should go see him!" I began walking towards the common room but was pulled back by Sirius who looked a little panicked.

"How about you wait till break? We can have James come over with him and you can play for as long as you'd like" I thought for a second.

"...why can't I see him now though?" I could see him tense.

"I don't know if James would be up for it...last I heard snuffles had to go to the vet because he got really sick" I let out a gasp.

"Is that why he's so sad recently?" Personally, I thought it was because Lily flat out rejected the invitation to his Christmas party.

"Ya, so why don't you just wait a bit and I'll make sure you can see him over break?" I nodded.

"Ya ok" I walked through the double doors into the great hall but was stopped in my tracks, I attempted to step further but it was as if my feet were glued to the ground "what?" I heard a cough and turned to see a smirking Ember.

"Your stuck under the mistletoe, it catches anyone in pairs and it just so happened to catch me sneaking up on you"

"Oh, this is the prank of the season I heard about...isn't that usualy a christmas thing?" Ember snickered.

"Set up by yours truly, it took a little longer to figure out than I first planned"

"Wait so you two have to kiss" Sirius who was standing behind Ember asked.

"Well I had to save her from you somehow" Ember smirked, she hugged me and gave Sirius a smug look "I can't just right on hand my BFF over to you"

"But I mean, you can" Sirius crossed his arms and I rolled my eyes I looked over to Ember giving her a quick kiss on the cheek and the trap seemed to be alright with that.

"Awww I was so close to getting your first kiss" I stopped in my tracks.

"What do you mean first kiss?" now she looked confused.

"Well, I assumed you were still a lip virgin considering I never see you kissing Sirius" a blush crawled onto my face "...you mean you had your first kiss!?" I shushed her as a few curious eyes made their way in our direction "well of course I have, I am dating so it's only natural we have already kissed" I fidgeted a little, the subject made me slightly uncomfortable considering it was mine and Sirius's personal life.

"Wait so have you two actually done it?" she asks this so casually.

"Totally" Sirius tried but I smacked him over the head.

"Only in his mind, and that's why I cut off thought connections with him long ago" I look away from them and walk over to the Gryffindor table.

"Whoa, so you used to read my thoughts?"

"It was a long time ago" I thought back to 2nd year especially, I had to keep tabs on them considering the school was under threat, and I was their main defense...or thats what I told myself though Sirius was the only one I 100% checked in on, so I think that was more my excuse to see what he thought about me, but I heard some stuff I wish I would never have heard, it's almost scary how many times my name popped up in his mind...like every time he snogged a different girl often. not to mention the scenarios that came with them...does he still think like that? I look over to see him looking at the Wizarding chess game two 5th year Gryffindors were playing...should I...but what if he doesn't anymore...what if it's someone else...(y/n) quit being stupid! Maybe for just a second, ya! Just a flash wouldn't hurt...right? I nodded to myself.

"You sure you want to do that?" I looked over to Ember, of course, she already knew what I was thinking even without reading my mind.

"No, I'm not but...maybe this could be a good thing, I'll know him deeper and find out what he's feeling right now...I'm not good at reading people so I guess this could be my backup if you have to call it anything" I reassure myself.

"Alright, but would he think it that way?" I looked over at her then back at him as he sat down to play the winner. I frowned.

"Well, I'm pretty sure he's not thinking anything he hasn't already told me"I blush a little at that statement. Ember lets out a coo.

"You're definitely gonna have to tell me about that one later, Alright I'm no witness" she shrugged and walked away as I sat contemplating with myself once again...just a peek. right?

Just a...holy shit. My face explodes into a million shades of red as Sirius who is now standing cheering for his victory looks over at me and winks, I think steam escaped from my ears, my whole body is just on fire, that's obviously not the reaction he was expecting because no less than a second later he was by my side.

"Hey what's wrong" he leans down real close as I feel his breath on the back of my neck sending a shiver through my body. I stood quickly.

"Oh it's nothing I think I'm just gonna go lay down till dinner" he grabbed my arm attempting to support me.

"I'll help you out, jeez you're almost literally on fire, what happened?" he led me out to the main hall and down the hallway towards my room, the cool breeze working wonders, I take deep breaths my cheeks permanently stained pink. Suddenly Sirius stops and turns.

"You know I'm not as dense as you might think" I freeze "even I know when someone has looked in my mind" I tense greatly "though it's not like you to be so obvious about it...perhaps you wanted to get caught?" I shook my head rejecting his statement as I backed up a bit but I knew it was no use he backed me into a pillar before I could even say Unicorn.

"My mind isn't always safe" he leaned down placing a gentle kiss on my neck "especially not for you" he kissed my neck again only this time a little higher than before "you could stumble upon some pretty graphic stuff" this time he kissed my jaw and now we were face to face.

"Or maybe you want to see every fantasy of you that runs through my brain" I shook my head my body on overdrive trying to resist all temptations he has brought to the table.

"You sure, I mean, I'm not against showing you instead" he trailed his hand down my side resting it on my hip and I was too hypnotized to even speak.

"No response? Does that mean I have free rein?" he found his way back to my neck and began to nibble and suck on the same places he laid kisses before.

"S-Sirius I-"

"(y/n) Romave!" I looked past Sirius to see a familiar Redhead that I have been giving the silent treatment.

"Oh hey Gravis" Immediately Sirius jumps off me turning to Gravis as I wipe my neck a little.

"Ahh your her big brother right?" Sirius asked trying to play innocent.

"Hell ya I am, and I'm also wondering why she was pinned to a pillar in the hall practically being eaten alive!" I glared.

"Because I want to!" he looked over to me.

"No you don't I can see right through you!" he accused and I glared grabbing Sirius's hand.

"If you'll excuse us me and Sirius have places to be" I dragged Sirius past Gravis who is still yelling but I ignore him and continue down the hall.

"What happened?" Sirius squeezed my hand a bit and I slowed down eventually stopping.

"I thought he was dead. The entire year until Hogsmeade he let me go on thinking someone murdered him! No word no note, not even a flipping hair, he was gone and it hurt me to no extent, then he just shows up again having tea with Dumbledore as usual and expects me to just play along like it was nothing! I'm glad the break starts tomorrow, I don't think I would have been able to last after today" I sighed.

"And why is that" I turned this time I decided to pin him.

"Because I need someone to run me till I pass out and I guess that will just have to be you~"

"Your wish is my command."
