It was 4:33, I made it to the library, Marcus was already there.

"Heyy, you're early!" I said as I saw him.

"Yeah, you're late." Marcus said playfully, slightly smiling.

"Oh finally you actually talk!" I said, we started working on our potions. We finished in an hour, we actually talked and had fun while doing it, even though I did most of the talking and laughing.

"Hey, wanna come to the astronomy tower with me? The sunset is really pretty from up there." I said, when we were done.

"Sure, why not." Marcus said, and we walked up to the astronomy tower.

We spent a lot of time up there, even until dark. He started talking a lot more and we became friends after that. We had a lot in common and never ran out of things to talk about. I felt a connection between us, the way I used to feel with Cho. Like I found a new best friend, someone I can trust when I'm at my lowest.

We both went to the great hall together for dinner, Pansy ran up to me as soon as I walked in.

"Oh my gosh where were you!? I was looking for you everywhere!" Pansy ran up to me and hugged me. The rest of the Slytherin friend group was behind her. Pansy, Draco, Blaise and I were in the Slytherin friend group.

"Oh, I'm sorry! I was studying in the library with Marcus, we had to finish the potion project!" I explained to them, we all sat down at the Slytherin table and started filling out plates. 

 I introduced the group to Marcus, and they actually got along nicely. After we ate dinner, we went to the Slytherin common room. We hung out there and talked a little bit until the boys went to their dorms to sleep.

"So..." Pansy said, with a smirk, "You and Marcus huh? Spill."

"Ew no! We were just making our potion project and then we went to the Astronomy tower to see the sunset! And he's actually a good friend." I said, smiling.

"Girl, yall are so cute together!" Pansy said, smirking harder.

"Nope! Noope! I barely know him! Come on, let's sleep" I said, and we walked to our dorm and got ready for bed.
