A few months passed and me and Marcus became great friends, he joined the Slytherin friend group and hung out every single day. One day, Mrs Mcgonagoll announced that we are having the Triwizard Tournament, followed by the Yule Ball.
"Who do you want to go to the Yule Ball with?" I asked the Pansy while walking to potions.
"I don't know, maybe draco?" Pansy said.
I laughed out loudly, "No way! Why?" I said, loudly.
"Hey girls, what are you talking about?" Draco came up from behind us.
"Um, nothing. Just talking about the Yule Ball." Pansy said, sounding a little bit panicked.
I laughed and went into potions and sat next to Mattheo so Pansy could sit next to Draco.
When they chose who would play in the Triwizard tournament, Harry got chosen even though he was only in his 4th year.
"Harry! Did you sign up for the tournament?" I asked, even though there was already a group of people trying to know how he was in the tournament.
"I didn't! I swear!" Harry protested as more people started gathering around him and asking him questions.
"Of course the 'chosen one' will be selected in the tournament. Even though he's just a boy who just happened to survive Lord Voldemort." I heard Mattheo say as I walked towards the group.
"Do you have something against Harry?" I asked Mattheo, "It's not like he wanted to go in, I think he's set up or something."
"Um, no. He just is an attention seeker from the start." Pansy said.
"Yea, Pansy's right, PottAH has nothing special. He was just lucky." Draco said, with a disgusting face.
"Quidditch seeker, more like attention seeker!" Blaise said, and everyone in the friend group laughed, but I didn't.
"You hang out with Gryffindors too much." Mattheo said to me.
I didn't care, I was just planning to help Harry through the tournament.
The tournament went by quickly, and Harry was even winning. Tomorrow was the 3rd game, the lake challenge. I sat with my Slytherin friend group on a bridge to watch the event.
"Good luck Harry!" I said as he dove in the lake.
In the middle of the game, the bright blue sky suddenly turned gray. Black, cloaked ghosts started flying around the bridge.
"Oh my gosh, what is that?" I said, pointing at the ghosts.
Marcus looked concerned and scared at the same time.
"Marcus, what is it?" I asked, starting to panic.
"Dementors, hide!" He said.
The air suddenly turned cold, I felt chills running down my spine. The same feeling I felt that night the Death Eaters first attacked. I followed my friend group under the bleachers, but I realized that Marcus wasn't there. I saw Marcus through the cracks in the bleachers, running on the bridge towards Hogwarts castle. I saw black clouds form on the bridge, and they became cloaked, death eaters. They suddenly surrounded Marcus, one death eater took off her mask and I recognized her face. Bellatrix Lestrange. I saw her in the woods that night, the same lady that killed Cho Chang. I read about her on the dailey profit that night, she helped everyone in Azkaban escape. She was powerful, and had no shame in killing children for no reason. And now she has Marcus right in front of her.
I looked over to the Slytherin group, Draco looked terrified, he could see everything that was going on. I realized that Draco was holding his left arm, it looked like it was in pain.
I looked back over to Marcus and saw that Volemort was also standing next to Bellatrix. Lord Voldemort.
"My dear Mattheo," I heard Voldemort say to Marcus. Who's Mattheo? "My dear son, finish this mission or I will end you. You need to prove to me that you can be worthy as a death eater. You're my son, you have to make me proud. Hurry up and kill this Potter, both of them." I overheard Voldemort say, he said in a shakey, whisper voice.
Both Potters? I thought there was only one Potter, and that's Harry. Who's Mattheo? Is Marcus Voldemort's son? I had so many questions in my head as I stared at them.
"I know father, I mean my Lord. Give me a few more weeks, I'm getting close to them." Marcus said, his voice shaking and sounding scared.
Just then, Marcus looked over at the bleachers, and for a split second I met his gaze through the cracks of the bleachers.
"Forget it, it's better that I don't have a son anyways, you're absolutely useless. I bet Draco can do a better job at this mission than you." Voldemort said, straight to Marcus's face.
"No please, father-" Marcus said, stuttering.
"IT'S MY LORD YOU IDIOT" Voldemort yelled in Marcus's face. He pointed his wand at Marcus, "AVADA-"
I couldn't see another friend get killed again, so I got out from under the bleachers and pointed my wand at Voldemort, "EXPELLIARMUS!" I yelled. A bright green light shot out of my wand as it hit Voldemort's wand. His wand flew out of his hand as the death eaters all turned to me.
"What are you doing?" I heard Draco's frantic voice from under the bleachers, "He's too powerful, you're no match against him."
"There you are, Potter." Voldemort said, Potter. Voldemort and his death eaters walking closer to me, while Marcus is being held by a death eater by the neck.
"Get away from Marcus." I said, trying to sound scary but I knew my voice was shaky, I could feel my heart beating so fast like that night in the forest when Cho died.
"Marcus? Oh, you mean my son. Mattheo." Voldemort said, picking his wand from the ground and pointing it at me.
I started walking backwards, but I couldn't move once my back was pinned against the bleachers my friends were still hiding in. I looked over to Marcus and met his eyes, but they were filled with pain and sadness, he was still being held by a death eater.
"Scared huh? Potter?" Voldemort said, as he pointed his wand at my neck. His wand was ice cold as it touched my skin.
" Expelliarmus!" I heard Marcus say, Voldemort's wand flew out of his hand. I took this time and ran over to Marcus, the Death eater that was holding him pointed his wand at Marcus. I ran over to Marcus and pushed him off the bridge, I also fell off with him.
We plummeted 20 feet into the lake, I closed my eyes as the water hit me hard. I could feel the cold water touching every inch of my body.
I swam up and put my head out of the water, "Marcus? Where are you?" I asked, while looking around.
"Oh my gosh, are you okay?" Marcus said, both treading water.
"Yeah, I think so." I said, then we started swimming towards the shore.
