Jessie's Perspective

The raptors all turned their heads at the new Alpha, who crept down the street. I found it creepy how it walked on the street and not on any buildings. It came closer and closer to us, and Echo walked away to the back, cowering slightly. I felt Zach come back beside me, and tried to pull me back.

Blue was communicating with it, and from the way she looked at us before going back to the Indominus rex proved it's loyalty. I smiled slightly, biting my lip – letting Zach bring me back to the group.

Out of nowhere, the hybrid picked up Blue and pushed it aside, hitting a bunch of chairs and a pillar. Blue laid there, dead upon the cement ground. Echo and Delta started roaring back at the hybrid, avenging their now fallen friend. My uncle still held his arms out, trying to protect us.

A whistle was heard, and Echo and Delta jumped up at the hybrid, biting at it's back. Gray ran past us, with Zach following behind. I stopped letting him hold my hand, I didn't want him to be dragged behind because of me. I was kind of shocked that Claire still wore heels after all this time. I saw them jump into one of the concession stands as I followed my uncle.

"You need help?" I whispered quickly.

"You have horrible aim." He remarked, as he shot at the dinosaur. "Go with Gray and Zach." I rolled my eyes at his childishness and jumped into the concession stand with Gray and Zach. Zach pulled me closer to him, between his legs in fact, so I was sitting with my back against his chest. Gray was next to us, Zach's arm wrapped around Gray while his other held me close. Why does he always do this?

Gray was mumbling numbers, and after a few seconds – I knew what he meant. What a clever, clever kid.

"We need more." Gray informed, vaguely.

"What?" Claire stated, turning around. I finally acknowledged her messy hair and messed up mascara and eyeliner. I am so glad I don't wear make up. "More what?"

"Teeth." I grinned, looking at Gray. "We need more teeth." I looked Gray in the eye, a small smile on his lips. "You clever boy." Claire's face had a moment of realization before she grabbed something from the first aid box and stood up.

"Okay, so..." She started. "You just wait here. It's going to be fine." She instructed before she jumped out. I peeped my head out, trying to see what was happening. I saw Echo being thrown into a furnace, fire escaping out there and I immediately fell to my knees.

"What just happened?" Gray asked.

"Echo...he died." I panted. Echo. My whole world felt like it was started to crash. This whole Jurassic world...sorry, I had too. Puns and jokes are my way out of situations like these. I needed to see more. I went back up, to see the hybrid bite the final one of the raptors – and that's when I knew that I lost some of the most important things in my life. My uncle soon jumped in, making Gray make a noise in fright, however he shushed him like he always does.

The hybrid's growl was coming around the corner as the snout broke the stand. Zach and Gray screamed like crazy, while my uncle and I remained quiet. Well, I know how to do that after letting out a small squeal. We went inside a store, pressed against the wall.

The hybrids nail almost hit Gray's feet, making me pull them back up and hold them. I was next to my uncle, and between him and Gray while the dinosaur was trying to break through and get us. Each roar was ferocious and terrifying, making Goosebumps to come up my arm and my eyes to widen.

Is this going to be the end?

I would have died where I lived. I would die where I love.

One nail took hold of the pack Gray had wrapped around his waist, and at that, we all pulled him back – using the strength of all four of us to make sure he stays with us. He had tears running down his eyes and his face was red. Zach unclipped it from his waist, letting Gray out free.

A new dinosaur came out the mix, distracting the hybrid from us. Claire got a T-Rex. We all stood up in the store, watching the battle between hybrid and dinosaur. Claire was hiding behind a rock, and as soon as the battle was over the shop, she screamed.

"RUN!" She screeched with all her might, making us sprint pass the falling debris and over to Claire.

A raptor squeak was let out, and we saw Blue, running down – distracting the hybrid. A raptor and a T-Rex working together...such an amazing combination. Blue was now on top of him, where Echo previously was. I had the flashback of his death in my mind, playing over and over again, making me hide my head against the fountain top. I felt a hand rub my back; nevertheless I didn't bother looking up.

All I know was that they were crashing into buildings, roaring loudly and destructing everything. An arm wrapped around my waist and pulled me along to where everyone else was running. It was Zach, of course. He has saved my life so many times today, and I just met him.

The throbbing on my arm got worse as some things fell in it. Somehow, Blue landed right in front of us before charging towards the dinosaurs again. We kept running, and running to find a safe spot. Blue was tossed aside again, making me wants to run back and get her. She was alive though.

My eyes went wide when the Mosasaurus jumped out the water, and gobbled the hybrid up. Even though it was all traumatizing, I had the biggest need to laugh. All we had to do was bring it near the Mosasaurus habitat? No one else seemed amused though, so I retracted my laughter. Gray was hugging a pole, with Claire's arm was wrapped around him. My uncle was holding them both back, bent down with arms expanded, and Gray was holding my waist still.

Blue moved back, communicating with the T-Rex while seeming terrified. What she said must be either inspirational or persuading, because the other dinosaur walked away while she turned her head towards us. I got out of Zach's grasp and moved forwards next to my uncle, trying to look her in the eye.

My uncle held my hand as he brought me closer to the raptor. I'm kind of getting sick of people holding my hand...Blue looked at us, slightly nodding before cocking her head, making me chuckle a bit. She looked at me and my uncle for approval, however we must have given her wrong impressions, because even though I nodded, she ran away.

"You know why she was always my favorite?" My uncle asked me, to which I shook my head. "She reminded me of you. She was tough, loyal, intelligent, strong, reckless to the point it was idiotic, and ready to do anything." He started. "She also causes a lot of worry for those who love her, and she's loveable." He didn't look me in the eye as he spoke. "She breaks the rules sometimes, but she was always the second in command, someone who I know could help and someone I could trust." He sighed, before finally looking at me. "Which means, if you really do want to go on a date or date him, I trust you." With that, he turned around and motioned everyone else to come over. Claire stood next to my uncle. My uncle was between Gray and Claire, while Zach stood next to Gray. I walked over to where Zach was and initiated the hand holding before resting my head on his shoulder.

I sensed his smile, as he wrapped his arm around my shoulders.
