Jessie's Perspective
We stayed in this big warehouse, while awaiting for family. Zach and Gray persisted to be with me while they tend to the gash in my arm that turned out to be infected. They had to disinfect it and wrap an absorbent around it. I needed to get stitches when I got home.
Where is home now? I wonder. Jurassic World has always been my home.
"Hey," Zach stated, sitting next to me on the bench while Gray slept in my lap. It was midnight, we were awaiting for daybreak, when the families of those who are stuck here would come and pick us up.
"Hey." I whispered back as I stroked Gray's locks. Gray was lying in my lap, his curly mops flat against my legs, and a blanket that was provided covering his body.
"You alright?" Zach asked, taking my hand and rubbing circles in my palm with his thumb, comforting me. His eyes showed concern, and he licked his lips.
"Yup." I gave him a sad smile. "Are you?" He nodded.
"So, about that date?" He brought up again, making me quietly laugh. "What?" He asked, defensively. "You said maybe earlier, what abou-?" I shut him up with my lips on his.
"Does that answer your question?" He nodded, with a huge smile before pressing his lips against mine again. "How will it work?" I asked, pulling away. "I live all the way in Boston." I pouted, as he lived a long road trip away from my place.
"We'll make it work." He bit his lip, before trying to kiss my lips.
"Sorry, I don't kiss until after the first date." I teased, making him roll his eyes and chuckle. He pressed his lips against mine once more, making me chuckle.
"I think Gray will need some un-traumatizing." I started. "Maybe we can not kiss in front of him." I joked.
"I think he'll be fine with it." Zach leant in once more, making me pull away quickly.
"You do realize we don't have each other's contacts, right?" I remembered.
"Oh shit, yeah." He cursed, before finding a pen on the ground and a tissue next to us.
"We kinda lost our phones, if you haven't forgotten." I reminded him.
"Goddamit." He rolled his eyes. "Skype, Kik, Facebook, whatever." I chuckled as I took the pen and wrote my details.
"Now, give me yours!" I exclaimed.
"There." He smiled after handing me a paper with his details. I immediately yawned. "You should rest." He mumbled, starting to now sound sleepy.
"You should." I informed as I started feeling dizzier than before. I thought it was just a headache.
"You do realize they gave us sleepy time Advil's." He drowsily smiled, in a goofy manner.
"Fine." I groaned, resting my head on his shoulder as he sat next to me. He rested his head on the top of my head, and soon enough, I fell in a blissful sleep.
