Jessie's Perspective

As soon as the car stopped, I let Gray and Zach out, letting them run in front of me. I stopped thinking about Echo, I couldn't afford too. I jumped out after them and started running with them towards the Innovation Center. Claire pointed at a direction, where my uncle ran too. I couldn't hear anything well, as there was a bell ringing in my ears. Claire was now ahead of us, with Gray tied with my uncle. Zach was slowing down, trying to hold my hand. I took it, not wanting it to be awkward. Also, when he held my hand – I felt safe and comforted.

We stopped in front of the lab, after hearing loud crashes. My ears were finally quieting down, as I rested my head on Zach's shoulder. My uncle gave Zach a dirty look, and this time, Zach didn't cower.

"They evacuated the lab..." Claire's was in disbelief as she finally took a few steps into the posh, advanced room. We followed, my head leaving Zach's shoulder but our hands still held. We walked past a barely open door to see these glass containers with what looked like spines to be in them. I saw all types of fishes and reptiles in these glass boxes. We all started staring a them for some reason, even if they looked like a hoarder of pets got them. There were snakes, lizards, chameleons, frogs, cuttlefish, and so many types of modern day, domestic and some wild animals.

A door interrupted our stares, spotting a bunch of soldiers pack up stuff in t he lab.

"What are you doing?" Claire asked, shocked – making me even more shocked she didn't know.

"I'm afraid that's above your pay grade, hun." Vic Hoskin's appeared and I felt anger run through my body. I wanted to go over to him and punch him, even kill him if I had too. I had a feeling Zach sensed this, due to the fact that as soon as he entered, he squeezed my hands.

"Great punch, by the way." He whispered in my ear, smirking, making me just chuckle slightly.

"Where's Henry?" Claire's voice growled.

"Dr. Wu, works for us." He informed the five of us, when Gray peeped out from behind my uncle.

"That's not a real dinosaur." He pointed out, making us all stair at the screen.

"No," Vic sounded proud of himself. "It ain't, kid." He eyed Claire and my uncle. "But somebody's got to make sure this company has a future." He paused. Why the hell does Vic always take such long pauses? "Imagine... that one, fraction of the size, deadly, intelligent, it would harbor the most advanced military technology." I almost growled at that...maybe they did inject raptor blood in me. Who does he think he is? Creating dinosaurs to fight other countries and ruin other peoples lives? "A living weapon unlike anything we've ever seen." He fantasized. "You see, millions of years of evolution, what we learn. Nature...is the gift – oH SHIT!" A raptor came running in, making me grin slightly.

"Delta." I mumbled, smiling slightly while my uncle bent over, and spread his arms apart to hold us back. With every step Delta stepped towards Hoskins, my uncle pushed us back a step. Zach had his hand in mine and his other hand resting on Gray's shoulder, bringing him closer. With that, I decided to grab ahold of Gray's hand.

"Easy...easy boy..." Hoskins kept saying as he was pushed against a wall. "Hey, hey...we're on the same side." First of all, they're all girls - yes, however I believe if there had to be boys, it was Elvis and Charlie. Second of all, that's bullshit. They were never on the same side as Hoskins. Nor was I. He held his hand out towards the raptor. Bad idea, Hoskins, bad idea.

The raptor took Hoskins hand in it's mouth, causing Gray to run away. He led us back to the main area of the center as Hoskins screamed echoed off each wall. We got lost in the main hallway; luckily, Claire pointed us the right way. I never went to the lab, finding the scientists emotionless idiots.

Delta soon broke through the glass and as the four ran the other way, I needed to buy them some time. As they ran, I stood on the steps and whistled, getting her attention.

"Hey, hey there Delta..." I calmly greeted, looking behind me every few seconds to make sure they're out of sight. "Delta, look at me." I snapped, making her meet my eye. This somehow reminded me of how my uncle got their control earlier today.

I can't believe it has been less than twenty-four hours...

"Delta." I held my palm out, at a good length with my eyes on hers, showing my respect. "Come on, stay there."

Zach's Perspective

"Where is Jessie?" I inquired, trying to find the brown haired girl as we made it to the center of the innovation center. Her uncle stopped in his tracks and looked around. I was just holding Jessie's hand.

"That idiot, brave girl." Owen sighed, before running in the same way we came from, "you guys should-." Before he could finish his sentence, Jessie ran out, her arm having a huge gash in it.

"You know," She informed, while jogging past us. "The reason I stayed behind was to buy you all some time." She sighed.

"I'm not letting go of you again." I stated, running over to her and grabbing her hand. "You're reckless and more of a hassle than Gray." The dinosaur soon came running out causing us all to run. I heard Gray slam something on the way out, however I refused to turn around. We pushed through the doors and caught sight of...no clue.

"Echo." Jessie mumbled, her tone still sad. Suddenly, the door opened, and who I believe to be...well, a raptor appeared. They growled and hissed at us. Another raptor was at the other side of us. "Killzone." Jessie sounded exasperated.

"This how it ends, huh." I felt Jessie slip away from me, before moving next to her uncle. I tried getting her hand, but she slipped it away.

"Jessie!" I whisper-yelled.

Owen dropped his gun, while a raptor with blue scales on it, looked him in the eye. Must be Blue. You could hear all our hearts beating, all our breaths shaking in this atmosphere.

"Easy." Owen said, holding his palm out to steady the dinosaur, before pressing it against it's neck and slipping off the collar.

"Come on, Elvis." I heard Jessie whisper, doing the same to a one with a sneer after her uncle did the same with the Blue one.

"That's it." They both smiled, but a huge roar interrupted the situation.
