"Grimmjow- san. You're home again." The amused voice of Urahara stated while Grimmjow was hiding from you. Grimmjow flinched slightly, only to then turn around and give Urahara a cold glare.
"So what old man?" Grimmjow answered back.
"It's such a surprise to see you here is all." Urahara chuckled behind his fan.
"Tch. Whatever." Grimmjow answered, turning back to the stairs, only to catch you looking right at him.
"You're here again?" You asked plainly. It was in all honesty, an innocent question. But with Grimmjow, he may take it as an insult.
"Shutup bitch." Grimmjow answered icily. Yes... he did take it in an insulting way.
"I was only asking." You shrugged off, heading back to the kitchen.
"Hey Kagami!" Someone called to you.
"Shuuhei!" You answered back with a smile, Hisagi walking over to you. Grimmjow watched from the side, his fist clenched into fist and his teeth barred. Who the hell was this guy that was talking to his woman!?
"Now now Grimmjow- san, calm down." Urahara mentioned, waving his hand back and forth as if to shoo off the tense atmosphere.
"Who the fuck is he anyways?" Grimmjow growled.
"Hisa- Hisa!" A small voice piped in. Grimmjow looked down to a small child with pink hair. Grimmjow couldn't remember her name, but he remembered that she had some relation to you. Grimmjow wasn't a big fan of kids, yet he had to admit that the pink haired girl was an adorable kid.
"What did you say brat?" Grimmjow asked with an arched eyebrow.
"His name is Hisagi Shuuhei, one of the Lieutenant's of the Gotei 13." Urahara explained.
"Yeah! Hisa- Hisa and Mimi- chan use to go out on dates together." Yachiru mentioned innocently.
"What!?" Grimmjow asked in anger.
"Ohh, I didn't know that." Urahara answered, brushing off Grimmjow completely. "Do you think they would get back together Yachiru- chan?"
"WHAT!?" Grimmjow yelled this time.
"Just wondering if you want to train after dinner." Hisagi asked with a sheepish smile, unsure if you would agree. Hisagi knew that you were never a fan of training, but he figured it wouldn't hurt to ask.
"Yeah sure I'll train." You answered with a smile.
"Oh, alright then." Hisagi answered surprised that you agreed. "It almost feels like how we use too..." Hisagi mentioned softly, past memories resurfacing as he didn't finish his sentence.
"Hmm?" You questioned, raising an eyebrow slightly. "I guess it does. Except this time, I'm not watching from the side lines." You smiled gently, understanding what Hisagi was talking about now.
"Yeah, I guess your not this time." Hisagi smiled sheepishly. For some reason, he always felt embarrassed to approach you now. You both had broken it off, due to the fact that Hisagi had a big crush on Matsumoto, and still does. The break up didn't bother you, and you two remained friends. But Hisagi still felt bad for giving up on you, and regrets his choice after hearing you were now with Grimmjow.
"Then I guess it's sort of like old times." You said, walking back to the kitchen. "It's a date." You finished jokingly, mocking what Hisagi use to call your late night outings with him.
Grimmjow growled as he watched you walk back into the kitchen, and this 'Hisa- Hisa' character walk back to the underground training ground.
"Who the fuck is he?" Grimmjow growled. He was pissed off now knowing that you were going on a date with this shinigami, unknowingly the playful tone you were using. In short, he didn't know you were joking. To make matters worse, Urahara had stopped him from stepping in and breaking the shinigami in half. So now, he had all this anger he couldn't let out on anyone.
"Why don't you train with them after dinner Grimmjow." Urhara suggested, thinking it would be good for Grimmjow to train with them. So now he won't have to pester Ichigo or Urahara for a fight.
"You serious old man?" Grimmjow asked curiously, not wanting to be fooled.
"Yes."
"Tch." Grimmjow replied with an excited grin. "Fuck yes."
Waiting for dinner, Grimmjow stayed out on the front porch, looking out into nothing as he let his stomach grumble for food. He was mad, he was hungry, he wanted to kill someone. It wasn't a great combination of emotions. But Grimmjow was trying his best to keep his anger in, he was going to use his rage in training today and fuck no one was going to get in his way. However, sitting on the steps of the shop wasn't enough of a distraction. So instead, Grimmjow had decided to go for a walk for awhile. Maybe he would get an idea of another gift for you.
It was during his walk, that Grimmjow couldn't keep his eyes off a woman that he had recently just passed by. He even smiled at her, and she in return, returned it with a wink. He couldn't help but admire this woman, her long legs and her large breast. She had beautiful brown eyes that went with her long red hair. The woman wasn't hard to miss, and Grimmjow had to admit, he had a thing for this woman.
As if Grimmjow's thoughts were being heard, the woman approached him, a seductive yet subtle sway to her walk.
"Hey." The woman said with a smile. Her looks were not innocent, they were seductive. It showed she was mature, and had done this thing before. Grimmjow loved a woman with experience, and for that time being, he had completely forgotten about you.
Maybe it was dumb to wait, stupid to even think about it. But you had done it anyways, and felt dumb for doing so. You felt even more dumb for believing that things could change.
Dinner had been served, and you felt good for some reason. Grimmjow was going to be home for dinner, which he has been for the past several days. Urahara had mentioned it was quite rare for it to happen, and had suggested to cook something he would like. You had thought about cooking fish for him, but you had remembered he was quite fond of steak. Maybe he is more of a panther then cat as he had said. Then again, he did like fish still.
By the time dinner had been served, Grimmjow wasn't at the table like you would have thought. You had subtly asked Urahara where Grimmjow was, but it seemed like even Urahara didn't even know where he was. You had cooked Grimmjow's favourite food, and had thought it would only be courtesy to wait for him. But everyone was hungry, so instead, you had decided to be the only one to wait for him to get home.
But Grimmjow never came home. Dinner had finished, and Zaraki had to force you to eat some of your dinner. And was close to even shoving the food down your throat. You had helped Tessai clean up the table, only to be left with so much left overs. You and Tessai had cooked so much food for Grimmjow's sake, it felt like a waste of effort. For a moment, you had thought Grimmjow had changed. As of late, he had been presenting you with gifts, coming home to have dinner with everyone. It was like being home with family. It was foolish of you to think he would change.
"Hey, Kagami." Renji called out to you as you sat on the back porch. "You still coming to train with us?" Renji asked, your back facing him.
"Get moving Abarai." Zaraki said harshly, sounding anxious to train now. "Leave her alone." Zaraki advised. Although it sounded like Zaraki could careless about you, Zaraki knew there was something wrong. And he knew exactly who to blame, and was going to stay up all night and wait for the damn bastard, and tear him to pieces.
"Mimi- chan are yo-" Yachiru began to say, slowly approaching you with a worried expression.
"Yachiru. Stay with Yumichika." Zaraki said harshly once more.
"Ok Ken- chan." Yachiru replied sadly as she headed towards Yumichika.
Neither you nor Zaraki had slept that night. You had stayed up on the back porch the entire night, for some reason, still waiting. While Zaraki had stayed off to the side, keeping an eye on you. His expression was hard, and his thoughts on killing the last living espada.
Once more, you had cooked lunch and began packing a bento for Grimmjow without being asked. Although Urahara was thinking of not sending him any lunch at all. But you had already went out the door with a packed bento for Grimmjow, as well as yesterday's left overs from dinner.
Daichi was working cashier as Jiro and Kiyoshi were getting stock from the back.
"Hey Daichi, where you want these?" Jiro asked as him and Kiyoshi carried the boxes in.
"You can put them on the side so we can check stock." Daichi replied. They never usually had customers before lunch, since kids were in school on week days. Usually, their first customer, who wasn't even really a customer, was you. So when they heard the small bell ring on the door, indicating someone had come in, all 3 of them had immediately looked up. However, their eyes widened as both Jiro and Kiyoshi both dropped what they were carrying.
"Kag- Kagami- chan!?" Jiro asked surprised as he looked at you.
'Umm, hey." You answered sheepishly, rubbing the back of your head.
"Kagami- chan, what's wrong?" Jiro asked as he approached you. "Have you been crying?"
"Oh no, I just haven't slept yet." You answered with another sheepish smile. "I was waiting for someone last night."
"Oh..." Jiro answered. He wasn't going to point fingers, but Jiro knew exactly who you were waiting for.
"I brought this for Grimmjow." You said, holding up a small basket filled with bentos. "And I bought this for you guys." You said with a smile, placing a box filled with dozens of small cakes.
"Oh, you didn't have to that Kagami- chan." Jiro said with a smile as Daichi and Kiyoshi opened the box.
"It's for always being so kind to me, and for taking care of Yachiru when we had first met." You answered with a smile.
"It's no problem." Jiro answered with a smile.
"Thank you for the cakes Kagami- chan." Daichi answered.
"Thank you 'Mimi- chan'." Kiyoshi answered in a soft voice, still shy.
"You're welcome." You answered, your smile never fading.
"So you want me to bring the bento to Grimmjow?" Jiro asked.
"Yes please." You answered weary, handing the small basket to Jiro. "Thank you very much."
"You're welcome." Jiro answered as you began to head for the door. "And thank you for the cakes."
"You're very welcome Jiro- san." You answered with a smile.
Grimmjow had enjoyed his night of fun last night. The woman who had brought him to her hotel was indeed as he thought, experienced, and he damned enjoyed it. Grimmjow enjoyed this new woman better then he had enjoyed Hana. Although Hana was sexy as well with her her large curves, Grimmjow found her rather childish, idiotic, and whiny. This new woman was the kind of person he could enjoy for a long time.
Grimmjow walked into the store, his mind plagued with memories of last night. It was when he walked into the store, that the memories faded, and the smile on his face there for a different reason.
Grimmjow smiled widely as he saw you. Finally, he got to see you deliver his lunch to him, and thank you properly for it. As he had been told to do so many times before. But as Grimmjow headed towards you, you had easily brushed him off, ignoring his presence. Grimmjow watched as you walked right past him, and walked out the door. Grimmjow was about to go out and give you a piece of his mind, there was no way in hell he was going to let you brush him off like that.
"Grimmjow." A hard voice came from behind him.
Grimmjow turned to see Jiro with a hard and serious expression on his face. Grimmjow looked surprised, he had never seen Jiro give that look before. But he ignored it as he headed out of the store to talk to you. But his actions were stopped when he noticed you heading towards a large man, who had easily picked you up and carried you in his arms. His expression hard and wild with a cold glare, and stringy black hair had been swept back and a little just pass his shoulders. He was an intimidating figure. Grimmjow wasn't good with names, but there was no way in hell he was would forget this man's name, forget who this man was. Captain of Squad 11, Zaraki Kenpachi, your big brother.
"Tch." Grimmjow answered as he went back inside the store, there was no way of getting to you now. Not when you're with Zaraki.
"Grimmjow." Jiro called out, another serious tone.
"What the fuck you want?" Grimmjow answered bitterly, walking past the young employee.
"What did you do?" Jiro demanded.
"What do you mean what the fuck did I do?"
"Grimmjow, Kagami was crying."
End.
