"Did you happen to see where?" Yugi helped her up as Pai shook her head, having gotten back on her feet and found herself tired. "No, but they probably they took him back to the castle." She coughed while helping herself to some water she stole from Mako, "I think Mai's gonna pull something stupid, so try to keep up the positive streak Joey." Rex ended up attacking Joey in a duel with his final monster being Red Eyes Black Dragon, which Joey somehow managed to defeat and even impressed Pai who was an old adversary of the dark dragon, who clashed with her more than once out of sheer stubbornness in the past. "Wow, who would've thought the great Bara would be in the possession of such an amateur?" She taunted as the spirit using some of her power had jolted from the card, "Shut up, Pai!!!!" His black horns and orange red eyes angered at her, with his black grey hair and grey attire contrasting against her lighter tones, "Why should I? You're younger than me and less intelligent. There's a reason you were barred from joining the order under the trinity, dorkus maximus." 

Their squabbling continued as Joey sweat dropped, "How did I end up with the card that doesn't get along with Pai?" Bara the spirit who had resided within the dragon card growled, showing animosity towards Joey and almost jumping him until Pai snapped her fingers, sending him back into his card. "That's enough out of you, jerk." She turned her attention to Zorcura, who was in control of Bakura's body after he sent everyone aside from her to the shadow realm for a due, "What do you want, you spiritual Frankenstein mashup?" She sneered knowing that Yami Bakura was messing with them, having ran with everyone after Mai lost to Panik. "What happened here?" Atem took over Yugi as Pai started to grow her horns longer with an attack one the way, stopping once her best friend grabbed her wrist and told her he'd battle Panik. "You're right, I need to calm down it's just....I really wanna throw a fireball at that jerk." 

Her friend understood the sentiment as she growled when hearing Panik talk, the instincts she buried as a duel monster rising up in her corporeal form, trying to keep her anger in check as Panik was verbally slammed by Yami Yugi. "No one talks to my best friend like that!" He shouted after the verbal burn to Panik, while summoning Pai after having revealed where the exterminator's monsters were via SORL, the spell card illuminating the field as her duel form screeched. "Paithamos, attack with Burning Field Crash!" She blasted fireballs at his undead creatures, slamming her feet on the ground and spreading the flames across the field in a wave of fire. "NOOOOO!!!!" He shouted as Yugi used Mind Crush to deal with Panik, Pai landing in his arms after with her eyes spinning in a daze. "...Y-Yugi..." She looked as if she was going to faint after being used briefly on the field then spurted back out of her card fast, having thrown up as Seto walked up to the group later on in order to rescue his brother, "...So---rrrr...yy..." She groaned as he grimaced, but didn't take much action.

[After he explained why he was there...]

"You're here for Mokuba?" Her question made Seto nod as she helped herself up with the hand he hand lent for her to shake, "Well, if that's the case then we can help. We were trying to help Mokuba before one of the goons Pegasus hired ran off with him." She handed me a blanket as we got ready to to set up camp for a break, "Bakura, why do you want to get them?" I asked him as he responded with confusion, having not known why he had a tracking function on his Millennium Ring. "Whatever it may be, we must stop him and helping Seto may do some good." She added under her breath to me, after Seto stormed off following a brief duel with Joey, "We're helping from behind the scenes if that wasn't already clear." My heart fluttered a little, 'She's surprisingly adorable sometimes for a cat like girl.' 

"Hey, why is Bonz only using Dark type monsters and spells? Undead are weak against a lot of types bar their own and their only major weakness is light." Joey who overheard her, was formulating a plan that allowed him to win against the odds that Bonz had, and soon enough we were running away from Keith who had betrayed his own goons and started chasing us. "Yugi put me down!!!" She yelled, as Tea was being hauled along by Tristan with Joey on his heels, her face was red as we ran from Keith but she was freaking out. "Door!" She shouted which made me stop as we entered the door and were confronted by the Paradox brothers, Para and Dox. "I hate these guys." I said as we finished up our duel with Paithamos the demon dragon, a fusion of black dragon and Pai that wiped out the brothers' Gate Guardian. "We answered your riddle, now open the door."

Pegasus's Castle

"I hate this. But it's the only way." I muttered as we got in the castle after going up the steps, having grown somewhat used to being sentient again after a long tine being frozen, as if I wasn't always a card. "Has he lost his mind already?" My question made Yugi nod in agreement as he agreed to battle Seto, on the condition that he didn't use my card in the battle at all. Something that he agreed to with a plan that I was sure of couldn't fail, because he planned to fuse me with Dark Magician. "I use the spell card Polymerization to fuse Paithamos and Dark Magician together!" But it failed after Seto rigged the duel with something he called the Crush Card virus, sending me careening out of the game and into Joey who was just barely able to catch me. "Ouch..." I looked down as Joey concurred with his face squished against the ground, "Ooop."
