"What are you doing?" Logan asked, shifting his gaze from the TV to Lewis, who was laying on top of him, messing around with a cellphone.

"Texting. Mason and Chloe are flying out to visit, wanted to know if we'd wanna go get dinner and watch a movie or somethin'. I told 'em I'd ask. I can always give her an answer tomorrow or something," Lewis replied, locking his phone and laying his head down. Like normal, he was laying so he could hear his boyfriend's heartbeat. "What are you doing?"

"I was watching a movie," he said, soothing his hand through the other man's wavy hair. "And now I'm trying to decide if we should actually go to bed, or if sleeping on the couch is worth it."

"For the record, I vote for going to bed. The last time we slept on the couch was when my mom showed up unannounced and I fell and almost broke my nose."

"Bailey, please tell me that I'm so drunk I'm hallucinating the small child you're holding," Chase mumbled, pinching the bridge of her nose.

"I'm babysitting. Don't be a jerk," came his soft reply as he carefully shifted the sleeping child off of his lap and on to the couch so he could get up. "Just because you're not good with kids doesn't mean I'm not."

"Whatever. I'm gonna take a shower and go to bed."
