She turns and waves at Neveah, Neveah waves before pulling off.

Yoni enters turning on the light, she see's her boyfriend with a cup in his hand, sitting in the dark, with his phone on his lap.

"You know what time it is" Andre says and Yoni Clutches her phone. She notices he's been drinking, again.

"It's one, but- exactly. It's fucking one in the morning, you cheating on me again" He stands up approaching her.

"Dre, you know I never cheated on you. That was just a Rumor and you know that" Yoni says slowly backing away.

"No I don't! That's the fucking problem! I don't know shit" He shouts at her wrapping his hands around her neck and slamming her into the wall.

"Dre, stop" she gasps scratching at his hands. She feels her lungs start to hurt by the going seconds.

Andre looks her dead her eyes for a few seconds and Yoni starts to black out. He lets her go and she falls to the ground.

She begins gasping for air as tears stream down her face.

"What did I do" She cries as Dre stands over her. "I didn't do shit to deserve this." Sayoni says before Andre's closed fist goes across her face and she spits blood out of her mouth.

"Next time, don't come in here pass fucking ten. And clean that blood up" He tells her walking away.

Yoni blood begins to boil as she stands up. She follows after him.

Sayoni raises her hand and he turns around grabbing her neck. "Fuck was you go do hit me" He asks backing her towards the couch.

"No, I promise I wasn't" She tells him as he slams her onto the couch. "All you do is lie, stop fucking lying!" He shouts at her and she begins to cry again.

"I'm not lying Dre, I love you" She tells him afraid of what going to come next.

"Yo ass, go learn Sayoni" He tells her as he begins to pull down her shorts and she starts kicking. "What are you doing, stop"  She screams as starts to remove her clothes.

"Shut the fuck up, I'm your Nigga, right?" He says before forcefully covering her mouth and she begins hysterically crying.

Andre takes his hand off Sayoni's mouth using it to pin her arms above her head. "Andre I'm sorry, please don't do this" She tells him.

"Please, I love you, I love you" She repeats and he uses his other hand to keep her from kicking him.

Sayoni let's out a pained yell as he forcefully shoves himself inside of her. "Andre please, it hurts" She cries as he keeps going.

Sayoni expression changes as she realizes he's not going to stop. She just lays there with tears rolling down her face.

Andre let's her hands go as he realizes she is no longer fighting.

Sayoni turns her head towards the front door. While turning her head she sees the liquor he was drinking, it's a glass bottle.

Andre grabs Sayoni's face. "You understand now" He asks bending down to kiss her.

Sayoni screams as she takes the Glass bottle to the side of his head.

She pushes Andre off of her as he is on the ground wincing she runs towards the front door. It hurts down there.

Sayoni continues to run. "I'm go kill you bitch" She hears Andre yell after her and she begins running faster. She ignores the pain as she runs down the dark dimly lit street.

She has no shoes, no underwear, no pants, no phone.

Now

"Where you about to go" Neveah asks as Sayoni puts on lipgloss. "I told you I have a date" Sayoni says looking at herself in the mirror.

"Date sounds so, ugh. I don't know. But I'm happy for you, finally putting yourself back out there" Neveah smiles and Sayoni shrugs.

"I can't let what happened Stop me from living. And plus he's in jail. I got a life to live" Yoni chuckles going to put her heels on.

"Ok, but I still want to meet him." Neveah seriously says. She hates the fact that maybe, if she would've stayed a few seconds she could of help Her bestfriend.

"Ok Mom" Sayoni Sarcastically tells her and she gets a text from Von saying that he's outside. "He, here. I'm going to call you back and tell you how it goes" Sayoni tells Veah and Veah worriedly bites the inside of her mouth.

"Okay, I got your location and I'm going to call you every hour. If you don't answer I'm coming, asap. I love you, be safe" Neveah says before hanging up.

Sayoni would be lying if she said she also isn't worried. In fact she want to just say never mind, and stay in her bed. But she can't let he past limit her future.

Yoni makes her way out of her apartment.

"You're okay," She whispers to herself as she walks down the hallway towards the elevator.

Her heart begins to race and she calls Neveah back. Veah immediately answers "what happened".

"Nothing, just stay on the phone until I get to the car" She tells her and Neveah hums a okay.

Sayoni laughs at a Joke Von said.

She's actually enjoying the Date. Dayvon is a very goofy person.

They're walking towards his car when Veah calls Yoni's phone for the third time she's been on the Date.

"Folks ass want you home by a certain time" Dayvon says and Sayoni looks at him before awkwardly chuckling.

"I wouldn't be out here with you if he did" She smiles and Von squints his eyes "I'm just playing" Sayoni tells him as they make it to the car.

They get in and The car and Sayoni calls Neveah back. "Why didn't you answer" Neveah says answering the phone and Sayoni puts one AirPod in.

"Because I was enjoying my day, I'm okay Veah" Sayoni tells her and Veah rolls her eyes. "That's not the point. Bitch I was finna go to your location. Yo ass tripping" Neveah chuckles laying back down in her bed.

Meanwhile

"Andre Green" The CO says walking towards Andre's cell and he looks in seeing him sitting on the bottom bunk and reading a book.

"What's up" Andre questions not taking his eyes of the book.

"Pack your things, you made bail" The CO says and Andre head quickly turns, almost breaking his neck.

"Who paid it" Andre asks and the CO shrugs. "Not my buisness" he says walking away.
