Gir zoomed through the streets of the oblivious town. He didn't try to hide his jets that were guiding him. Gir simply giggled excitedly until he finally spotted you. You were at the store picking up some supplies and food to take home. You walked through the aisles, stopping by the bread and tortillas.

A loud "TACOS!" erupted from someone next to you. Jumping back, you searched for the culprit. When you didn't find anyone, your eyes lowered to find a green dog pointing at the empty taco shells on the shelf. The small creature smiled widely at you, its tongue sticking out the side of its mouth.

Immediately, you knew that this green dog had something to do with Zim. The bad disguise seemed to be a pattern with him. "Do you like tacos, puppy?"

Gir clapped his hands together and grabbed the taco shell package and threw it in your cart. "You gonna make me some tacos? I need tacos or I will explode. That happens sometimes."

You tried to keep the look of confusion from covering your face. "I'm assuming you're Zim's dog. Is that right?"

Gir made a random sound of happiness and waved his arms everywhere. He then stopped and looked at you. "I'll only tell you if you dance with me!"

You blinked. There was no way you were going to break out dancing in the middle of the store. Granted, this town has seen weirder things in its days, but you definitely weren't about to be the talk of the school because you went viral for dancing terribly.

"How about I agree to make you tacos?" You smiled widely and grabbed another pack of taco shells. "Will you tell me then?"

"Ooooh." The dog's eyes widened. "Master will be upset. But I NEED tacos." He appeared to have a mini internal conflict for a moment. Ultimately, he chose the tacos. "Zim is my master. He wants me to bring you to our base. He wouldn't tell me why, but I think he likes you!" He then fell over on his knees and banged his paws on the floor. "That boy loves you so much!"

You didn't know how to react to what was going on. Zim liking you? Ha, impossible. He's so bent on destroying the planet that he doesn't have time to have feelings. Even if he did like you, you doubt he would tell his dog, understandably so. You dismissed the dog (robot's?) confession and focused on the fact that Zim wanted you to come over.

"What's your name, little fella?" You asked.

He saluted you. "Gir, reporting for duty! Now what about them tacos?"

You held one of your grocery bags in your hand. Gir had the other and was eagerly singing about his favorite food. You trailed a few steps behind him in deep thought. What did Zim possibly want with you? He couldn't have found out your secret, he doesn't even know that your people exist. No one does really. Maybe he found something about Dib's mother.

Gir led you to an awkwardly placed green house. His decorations were, to say the least, interesting. Not quite the home decor set you would think of and you were sure the inside of the home would match. Gir grabbed your hand and led you to the door. Upon landing on the step in front of the house, two robots greeted you.

"Welcome home, son!" They said as they invaded your personal space. That's when you remembered. Parent/teacher night was a complete disaster because of these two robots. The look of embarrassment on Zim's face was the first time you had seen him display an emotion besides anger and confidence.

You shuffled past the two and into the kitchen. Gir tossed the bag on the counter and waited for you to begin cooking. You turned to face the stove and began to agree to your side of the deal you had made with the adorable robot. When you turned to face him again, he was nowhere to be seen. His disguise was the only thing left of him.

Gir traveled down into the base to find his master. He jumped onto the back of Zim's head, deciding that was the best way to get his attention. Zim growled. "Gir, get off of me! Can't you see I'm talking with the Tallest."

"Ooh yeah." He gawked. "Y/n's upstairs right now. S/he's/they're making tacos! With extra cheese! I like cheese."

Zim yelled angrily again and pushed the robot off of him. Almighty Red and Purple shared a confused glance. Purple decided to ask the question on both of their minds. "Who is this y/n the robot speaks of, huh?"

"Yeah," Red continues, "You always talk about that large headed boy, but you've never mentioned y/n."

Zim blushed. "Uh, I... That is because she/he/they is/are a part of my next evil plan! This Earth pig is different from the others. I may be able to manipulate her/him/them into helping me end this stupid rock of a planet!"

"Why would she/he/they help you destroy the planet he/she/they lives on?" Red questioned.

"Yeah!" Purple added. "Did you ever think about that, Zim? Huh? Did ya?" He pressed on.

Zim bowed. "I assure you my Tallest, that everything will go according to plan. Do not fear, Zim will not let you down!" Zim quickly cut the transmission. "Gir, why would you leave him/her/them alone in our base?"

"I came to get my piggy!" He squeaked his rubber pig in Zim's face as he followed him to the elevator-like contraption that would lead them to the main part of the home.

Zim adjusted his disguise before walking out into the open. He caught whiff of the ground beef you were preparing for Gir's dinner. Zim stood and observed your actions for a while, making sure that you weren't secretly planning to do something. Gir hugged your leg.

"Y/n human. It is good to see you again. Zim knows you feel the same." He greeted you, walking up to your side.

You smiled down at the goofball attached to your right leg. "Gir is very convincing. How could I say no to this little ball of joy?" You pet his head, earning a happy sigh from him.

        "What did he tell you?"

You decided it was best to not mention the part about Zim having feelings for you. "He just said you wanted to see me. I'm here now so what's up?"

Zim paced back and forth. "We Irkens are taught from day one how to read people. Because of our superior knowledge, I know that there's something going on with you."

You laughed nervously, handing Gir his much awaited meal. "Zim, I don't know what you're hinting at-"

"You have a fascination with the Dib! Whatever it is you see in him, you must share the same quality. You two are the only ones with a hyper sense of awareness to the abnormal things that no one else pays a second glance to. Why is that y/n?"

You panicked, seeing that Zim was on to you. "Want a taco? Gir seems to think they're pretty good. I assure you it's better than the lunch food."

Zim smirked and edged closer towards you. "You and I both know that I am allergic to the pitiful Earth meat you call food. Now, tell Zim what he wants to know!

        "Who are you really, Y/n?"
