Hellooo,

Anyways, I'm trying to seek comfort in writing so here comes this chapter.
And happy late bday, Miya!!!!
Oh and I just want to thank everyone for reading, voting and following. You don't know how happy you make me! ^^
Let's goooo!

I yawned as I was waiting for Reki with Langa, the morning sun kissing our skin.
It's a calm morning.
A bit too calm to be honest...
"Y/N, how is your leg?" Langa asked, making me stop yawning.
"It's doing just fine. I told you. The pain only stays for a couple of minutes. It's just a bit swollen but that's about it. Masa-San did some special I don't know what you call that and that really helped!" I laughed both of my hands holding my skateboard.
He nodded, smiling at the sound approaching us.
"Morning!" I also turned to the direction, smiling at Reki who stopped in front of us.
"Morning." Langa also said, smiling at his friend.
Reki did a Hand check with Langa before doing it with me too.
We cool, ya know?
Just kidding.....
"What do you wanna do today?" Reki asked, smiling at us brightly.
"How about the Big Wood course?" Langa replied, making me nod.
"Good idea." I commented.
"Sounds good! Then let's go skate after school again!" Reki suggested with a bright smile on his face, us nodding.
"Sure!" I agreed, looking forward to the moment I get out of school.
We started walking, putting our skateboards down to skate.
"Hey Langa. I forgot about this. Here you go!" I called out, making their heads turn to me.
I sped up with my foot and quickly pushed the tail down, flying up along my board.
"Your ollie!!!" Langas eyes sparkled, making me smile as I landed back down.
"That was clean!" He continued, making me laugh in shyness.
"Good one!" Reki also said, patting my back.
"Thanks!" I grinned, smiling to myself as we enjoyed each others company.
Langa then took his water bottle, drinking some and passing it to Reki who also drank of it.
We then saw a railing, smiling at this.
"Let's go!" Reki smiled, speeding up along Langa. I also joined, kneeling down a bit to jump on the railing.
Reki flipped on it, sliding down and flipping one more time before landing.
I grinned and also jumped on the railing, sliding down sideways before double flipping the board in air.
Reki clapped his hands while Langa made himself ready to do something even greater.
He pushed himself forward, sliding up a wall and touching a star that was drawn with graffiti.
Reki and I widened our eyes at him while he landed smoothly.
"Langa..." I breathed out, amazed of how high he went.
"Woah!! Pretty good!" Reki put his fists up, making me gulp and nod.
"Amazing!" I also cheered.
"So cool!" A voice interrupted us, making Reki and I turn around to be met by three small boys.
"What was that?" The other one asked.
"You can jump that high on a skateboard?" The third one commented their eyes wide open.
I grinned, crossing my hands over my chest just like Reki, who nodded proudly.
We went over to Langa, high fiving him.
"Talent!" I jokingly yelled, making them laugh.
I smiled and walked forward.
"Let's go!" I told them before skating away, them joining close by.

"Oh maaaaaannn....today was so hard!" I sighed as we walked out of school.
"Yup...." Reki also sighed, his hands hanging low.
"We're still going today, right?" Langa asked, making me nod in response.
"Of course!" I smiled brightly, looking down at the skateboard in my hand.
"Then, meet you at the place. " Reki stopped, smiling at me.
"Yes. I'll be there on time so you guys better be there on time too. Don't wanna be alone!" I pointed my finger at them, making them nod.
"We will." Langa gave me a thumbs up while Reki nodded eagerly.
"Miya and the others should be there too, that shouldn't be a problem." Reki added.
"Right...totally forgot. Anyways. See ya later!" I quickly jogged forward, waving at them before skating home.

I'm so dumb....
I cursed under my breath as I lost track of time.
I told them not to be late and now I am late....
Only I am able to do something like this...
I quickly put on black shoes to complete the once again black outfit before grabbing my skateboard and running out.
My dad isn't home like always and my mom has night shift.
Perfect way to go out when it's night.
I put my hair up into a high ponytail and skated towards the Big Wood course.
My phone peeped, making me take it out.
Reki texted me, asking where I'm at.

Lost track of time....
______________
I put my phone back in, leaning forward to turn around this corner.
I saw bright lights from here, meaning I'm close.
...
I went off my board, stepping on the tail to let it fly into my hands.
"I'm here!" I called out, making Reki, Miya and Shadow look over at me.
"Oh, Y/N. Finally." Reki sighed in relief, his hands crossed over his chest.
"Where's Lan--" I stopped mid sentence ad I saw Langa flying around in the air going higher each time.
"What...." I was shocked....
He's getting better and better and it's only been months.
"I wanna try too!" I quickly added, jogging over to where Langa was.
"Y/N, wait!" Reki called out but stopped as I was already gone.
"Langa! Let me try too!" I shouted, making him stop on one of the ramps.
"Y/N." He smiled.
I quickly climbed up, resting the board on the edge.
"Look! It's Yami!!!" I heard some say, a lot of people now watching me.
Not gonna lie...this is making me nervous....
I gulped down my nervousness and flipped down, skating the ramp down and up with speed.
I pushed my feet up along the board, grabbing it with a hand and doing a spin in the air before landing back on the edge to slide on the other side.
"WOAHH!"
"THAT'S YAMI!"
"CRAZY!"
People cheered while I now stopped next to Langa who had sparkles in his eyes.
"Teach me that flip!" He excitedly begged, making me laugh.
"Some other time!" I pat his shoulder, skipping over to the latter to climb back down.
"Y/N! That was crazyyyyy!" Reki smiled widely, patting my back.
"Thanks!" I laughed while some strangers were staring at us.
"Wasn't that what I taught you?" Miya looked up at me.
"It was. You got me." I laughed.
Miya shot me a smile before continuing his game.
"When?" Reki asked, looking over at us.
"Not long ago." Miya simply answered, completely missing the point of Rekis question .
Langa then continued, the people talking about him now, quickly forgetting about me.
"Isn't that awesome?" Reki grinned while I put my skateboard down.
"Why are you so proud of it, Reki?" Miya sweat dropped.
"Let me tell you. People aren't taking notice of you. It's your buddy." Shadow added, making me scrunch my eyebrows.
That's kinda....mean?...
"Shadow, that's not true---" I was about to continue but Reki cut me off.
"I know that! And what do you mean 'buddy'?!" Reki yelled at Shadow, making me sigh.
" 'Buddy'? That cracks me up!!" Miya chuckled.
Rekis face got even more irritated.
"And people call you 'the one that's not Langa' , or 'Yamis little friend'!!" Shadow laughed out, making me angry.
Reki flinched, pouting. "Shut up...." He mumbled quietly.
"Okay, that's enough. Reki is amazing too!" I argued, looking up at Shadow angrily.
Shadow laughed and nodded, waving me off.
"Shadow! I will sh--"
"Mister Cherry!!!" The people cheered.
"You're marvelous as always today!" Some girls simped.
"Please look this way!"
"Hey, Joe!!!"
"You're the best!"
"You're nailin' that look again today!"
"You're the beeest!"
Everyone noticed them both, happy to see them while I'm a bit irritated by the look they're giving each other and the intwrruption of my speech.
Yap...a fight is coming.
They then started pushing and cursing at each other, roasting with every cell in their body.
"Those two are at it as always." We all sweatdropped while Miya said our thoughts.
After their fight, the both of them noticed us and joined, standing next to me.
I was now between Reki and Cherry, my hands crossed over my chest.
"We have even more up in the gallery." Cherry spoke up, making me gaze at him.
"We got all the celebrities from S here after all." Joe agreed, closing his eyes.
"You're gonna say so yourself?" Miya sighed, putting his hands into his pockets.
I looked back to Langa, watching him flip around like it's nothing.
"Let me teach something to the young. Overconfidence is poison, but confidence becomes power." Joe grinned at us while we didn't reply.
He's right though...
"Wow! Has he gained even more air?!" Reki was astounded as Langa went even higher.
"He's up there. Higher than any of us now." Miya also said.
Langa....will you just keep getting better and better?
You're dangerous.....not only for others, but yourself...
"He must've developed it from snowboarding." Cherry explained.
"That's also why he can spin and flip well in the air." I added, still watching the blue haired one.
"Exactly. If he can catch that much air he'll be advantageous in all sorts of situations in S." Cherry continued.
"And he has guts. No matter the circumstances, he doesn't back down. His body doesn't curl up. He has a strong core, too."
"Come to think of it, he said he's been snowboarding since he was two." Reki remembered.
"That's such a long time..." I mumbled.
"It is. No doubt. Many prominent sports athletes are blessed with great backbones. I'm sure Langa had been honing his talents from an early age under an excellent instructor." Cherry finished. I looked down, playing with some pebbles on the ground.
"I'm sure he can aim to be on the Japanese national team." Miya admitted.
So he's already that good?...
"All this in a matter of months? Just how good will he become?" Cherry tensed up thinking about the monster he could become.
I glanced at Reki, who's face was replaced by a rather dark one.
"Is he really that..." He started but didn't finish, watching his friend carefully.
"Oh! An Indy Grab!" Joe spoke up, making me look back at Langa.
Missed it...
"That kid's showin' his stuff now!" Shadow laughed while some others cheered for Langa.
I saw Reki stare blankly at Langa, gulping heavily.
"Reki?" Miya and I asked at the same time.
"I'm gonna go grab a drink." Reki smiled, walking over to the bottle of coca cola on a rock.
I shot Miya a worried look before jogging after him.
He was already kneeling down to drink as I made it to him.
"Rek--" My voice got stuck upon hearing people tall about my friends.
"Snow is really amazing!"
"Yeah! He's absolutely, totally awesome!"
"More like, who's that redhead who's always with Snow?"
"No idea. Do you know?"
"Oh, that guy's some lowlife that just hangs out with him. No need to remember that guy."
I wanted to move, but I was stuck again.
Why do I always have to be frozen in moments like these, worst get stuck in my throat and my body isn't moving.
"R...eki..." I stuttered, seeing him squeeze the bottle.
"And that Yami girl?"
"Ahh, the hottie? She's pretty good, never thought she would hang out with Langa and that redhead though."
They continued, making me turn to them.
"OI! YOU DIMWITS!" I shouted, making them flinch and turn around.
"WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE, HUH?! TALKING SHIT ABOUT MY FRIEND?!" I stepped closer and was about to beat the hell out of them until a hand stopped me by grabbing my hoodie.
I stopped, looking back at Reki who's face was down.
Sighing deeply, I gave those guys one more stare before kneeling down to Reki.
They flinched and walked away.
"Reki...you okay? They don't know you, alright? You're amazing yourself..." I tried to convince him while he just sat there, the bottle still in his hands.
He didn't talk...he didn't react...he didn't move....
Is this really the Reki I know?
Is he...in that much in pain?...
Why did I never notice?...
"R-reki?" I stuttered once again, gulping down nervously.
He still didn't reply.
I slowly took the bottle away, closing it and putting it back on the rock.
"I'm fine." He suddenly talked, standing up and walking back to the others.
Reki....
You're not....
